✓ Good program however remote control from phone is glitchyThe program works pretty good. the voice recognition works well however I spent the extra money to be able to monitor what was going on from my phone as the program was running on the iPad. Super glitchy, doesn’t work well at all. I hope the patch it up and fix it..Version: 2.2
✓ Does not connectWaste of time and money. Does not connect. I wanted to connect my iPad to my iPhone to act as a remote but this does not connect at all to the phone. The voice track mechanism does not work in the pro subscription version ($9.99 a month) so wanted to control it via the remote. Lot of customers have complained the same but the developer always reacts by saying their software has been updated and to contact them with no reference to where & how the customers should call them.Version: 2.3
✓ Consistently inconsistentThe remote app is unusable in its current condition. It loses wifi, does not swap out correctly between Script and Notecard mode and will not reconnect to my iPad Pro without a restart. Just to clarify, not an app restart, not a good wifi cycle/restart but a full iPhone and iPad power down and up restart. Yep. That’s bad. Seeing that I purchased PromptScript Pro instead of other competitors for the remote capability as well as Notecards, I am not just out $12 for this remote app but also $19 for the PromptScript as well. This is a terrible experience for $31. Really just want it to work. Have a presentation tomorrow, going to have to revisit my strategy..Version: 2.2
✓ Can be very frustratingThe app works sort of, sometimes it just freezes which means dashing back and forth to the iPad to physically move the text, then going back into position to continue. The remote phone app could be the prefect solution but they are trying to cash in on their own short comings by charging to use the remote app. Disgraceful!! ✓ UselessThis app is virtually useless because without the remote the prompter is ALWAYS SKIPPING OR JUMPING LINES. So good got the remote and it worked for a while, but now the app refuses to pair with the remote. ✓ I wanted to like this productThe voice recognition is highly revolutionary. Unfortunately, using this product as my solution to being able to control the speed of the prompter with my cellphone has not been successful. I had a very important client for which I needed to control the speed and also be able to direct throughout. Already bearing so much pressure for all the other elements of my shoot to go well, I was very disappointed when the software would not connect between my iPhone and my iPad. ✓ GarbageControlling a script with this is near impossible. The voice recognition WILL screw up (skip ahead, or just stop) during any lengthy speech, so a remote is needed to get back on track. Unfortunately this app is frustratingly unusual even. Scrolling is almost random - sometimes it works, sometimes it stops, sometimes it scrolls way ahead. Useless. ✓ Almost there...The latest update to the remote is much better than previous iterations. It doesn’t disconnect when closing presentation mode and it connects automatically when going back into presentation mode. Thanks! However, the remote mirrored scrolling feature doesn’t work smoothly. It scrolls smoothly on the remote device, but it’s jumpy on the prompter, which is unacceptable. Please fix..Version: 1.1

✓ Poorly executedTo be quite frank, I am astounded how poorly this app has been executed especially as I havent yet found a script that I havent needed to move the prompter on despite your very impressive voice tracking. Multiple reviews have commented on the poor UI requiring incredibly precise button finding when operating. Looking down at your phone to find a tiny button breaks the illusion of engaging with the audience. There seems to be so many ways to deal with this (speaking as a dev): enable a split screen button area where you can press anywhere on each half to initiate up/down or allow swipe gestures anywhere on the screen. Move the start/stop button to the bottom seeing that in theory you only should use it twice... This is pretty standard expectations for a remote that you would operate without looking at when there is no tactile feedback to help finding a small arrow button. Finally, the connection is intermittent and the text scroll view just doesnt work with your voice tracking as the two get out of sync, recovery is only possible by starting the script again. If this worked it would solve most issues as you could simply scroll the prompter on when required. The whole experience is very intermittent and slow to respond which again breaks the illusion of being natural..Version: 2.3
✓ SneakyI just finished paying $28 to unlock the pro features in the main app so that I could use this remote control feature for when the voice recognition fails (giving me a backup option to not ruin the presentation) and then after trying to connect the two apps I discovered that I have to pay an additional $17 (or a monthly subscription) just to use the remote with it. I just payed $45 to be able to use this teleprompter with a remote. Just a heads up for anyone looking to purchase. Shame on you....Version: 2.2

✓ The remote app is unreliable when it countsThe remote app looses connection in the middle of filming frequently, when it happens the teleprompter is essentially useless at that point if you are doing a live broadcast (can’t exactly tell the audience to stop and wait for you to go to the other phone and reconnect the teleprompter). If you are making a recording, you then have to stop and re-record or plan to edit out the interruption. For something that requires a subscription, this is unacceptable. ✓ Worked once then problemsI paid for the subscription to get the remote control to work. It worked once. The second time I received the pop up to subscribe. However according to my account I am subscribed . I contacted tech support. They said uninstall then reinstall both apps. After the reinstall the remote app feature was still asking me to subscribe. ✓ Frustrating and inconsistentWhen this app works well it is truly amazing. The problem is that it will randomly stop working with no fix possible. On my latest shoot I was using the remote app to preview text on a long script and scroll appropriately. At a certain line in the script the prompter would suddenly skip to the end of the script. Disconnecting and reconnecting did not fix the problem nor did restarting the apps. We are using recent released iPhones and iPads with iOS 14. We’ve had this same problem on previous OS versions. The controls for fastfwd and rewind are so small it is incredibly difficult to find them. ✓ Old UX advantages have been lostThe latest updates have killed the UX advantages of the old app. Used to be able to smoothly scroll with your finger as someone talked and the main app would keep up.
