Habitify - Habit Tracker for Negative User Reviews

Great idea but not worth premiumI I think it’s a great app but completely not worth the cost. There are other free apps that do the same thing. The company really should look into other services and allow people to use the free version of the app for as many goals as they want to set and that would make me more likely to purchase the premium package. But where it’s at right now they are charging to do pretty much the same thing that Apple reminders do. I do want to make it clear that I was not looking for something for nothing. I was searching for an app like this with the intent of purchasing a premium version. But I do not feel that the services that they are charging for are worth the payment they should offer free services for free such as setting the goals setting the times and setting reminders. I think that they could look into some more creative things to offer their clients that would propel them and influence them to buy the premium version. If they revamp their style and start charging for their services I would definitely consider subscribing to their service but until then I’m going to continue to getting the things that they charge for free from the apps that I currently have on my phone..Version: 6.4.2

Badge notifications not workingThe app is supposed to update itself when it is not open and give you a badge notification when a habit needs to be completed but it does not. You have to open the app and navigate to today on the calendar and exit the app in order to the app to realise that it needs to give you a badge notification for the habits you need to complete for today. Please fix this..Version: 12.3.2

Doesn't sync w macOS and they know thisI emailed support to ask why macOS version doesn't sync and was told: "We are so sorry for your bad experience with Habitify. Since the update version is only released on phone, not the MacOS yet, it causes the issue about the synchronization among platforms. Our developer team is working on completing Habitify on all other platforms as soon as possible. Meanwhile, I hope you can use the mobile app and web app for a better experience. If you have any problem, please let me know." There is another review her from May sayign the same thing. They're selling a premium product whic proports to sync on their website and that's a main feature/benefit of paying and they know it doesn't work. The app is ok other than that not great but the abovei is just straight up false advertising..Version: 10.1

Update ruined appThere used to be a stat page that showed a ratio of how many habits you had finished in a day. They got rid of it. It makes the app unusable to me now because I try to hit 20 habits a day. Without that number, my goal doesn’t work. They also got rid of the yearly stats which showed progress and frequency of your habits. They got rid of that too. I paid for the lifetime subscription because the old app was exactly what I wanted. It never occurred to me that they would update it and actually remove things from the app. I wish I had got the monthly subscription so I could cancel. $40 down the drain. I’ll be looking for a new app. Based on comments on other reviews it doesn’t seem like they are going to bring back any of the features they dropped..Version: 10.0.2

The new version ruined it all!I’ve used your app for almost a couple of years now and loved it. Even recommended it to people but your new UX/UI just killed it. Whoever came up with the new design has killed the user friendliness the app had - How can one do such a terrible job?! 🤷🏻‍♂️ Now we can’t swipe to change months to see last months data, we can swipe to update yesterday’s data, but rather have to tap the little calendar. Update UI is supposed to reduce the taps user make, not increase it. Utterly disappointed! I will try to export the data and may move to another app - but I’ll wait for the next version, in case you try to go fix it. PS: I’m a founder of a well known app too, so I know a thing or two of what I’m speaking about..Version: 10.0.2

Great except for two thingsTwo things that I don’t like about this app and are kinda getting under my skin are the following: 1- At the top bar where your folders would appear, the folders are ordered for some very weird reason based on alphabetical order. So, if you want a folder to be before another, you can’t change it manually, nor can you make the folders be based on a timely order so that the folders for 10 am are before the folders for 10 pm!! 2- You can time the tasks to be either at morning, afternoon, or evening so you can’t time them to be from say 9:30-13:15!! Not sure why you can’t manually pick the specific time that you want!! This also applies to folders btw. So although I should be able to create a folder that displays (in the widget screen) from 7-13 o'clock, I can’t do that!.Version: 12.4.1

It’s okayI like it, but it’d be cool if you could add more habits, etc without having to pay for premium. Feels very limited..Version: 10.3

Habit stacking???Habit stacking function does not work with reminder. I just bought the premium and now I can’t even get reminded to do something after I have done something else? This is a bit ridiculous..Version: 11.0.2

Habitify that I used to loveHabitify used to be easy to navigate, was predictable, my habits status easy synchronised between iPhone, iPad and MacBook with use of my iCloud account. Loved it! However, my new iPhone with Habitify new version doesn’t synchronise with Habitify on my other devices anymore..Version: 12.4.1

Doesn’t workI tried the app and kind of liked it. So thought of upgrading. It said the purchase was successful but still can’t enter more then 2 tasks. I wasn’t sure if the payment actually went through so tried to upgrade again and it said I have already paid for the app. So the app thinks I have upgraded but still does not unlock the premium features. Looks like loads of school boy errors in the app. Can’t understand why the high rating. Will be glad if I am not actually charged..Version: 3.4

Rip offAwful. Installed it and only able to add 3 habits then have to pay for premium version. How am able to even assess how it works with so few habits to track..Version: 10.8.3

Buggy—Lost all of my dataI’ve been enjoying using this app for its interface and detailed system for reminding you to complete your habits. That said, I’ve noticed constant bugginess with the way that data is displayed under progress and in other places on the app, and trying to sign in to an account deleted all of my existing data and habits I had tracked for the past week or so of using it. I would have been devastated had that data been for a longer period of time. While I would still prefer to use this app over other habit tracking apps in general, I would recommend taking time to try it first to see if it’s more stable than it is on my device..Version: 12.3.2

Good startThis app is very good if one is building habits under no or little time constraints. I need to see my day at a glance but the app only shows chunks of time by morning, afternoon, evening, anytime. Also there is a limit to the number of tasks for each chunk of time EVEN WITH A PREMIUM MEMBERSHIP. Is there an option to have completed tasks fall off automatically? And future dates? How can we build habits in a vacuum? There aren’t any future dates to rearrange tasks for unforeseen events which would enable us to continue the particular habit at a different time of day. Maybe you could offer these services at another membership level with a slight increase in price. I am disappointed at being so constrained in using the app..Version: 3.4.1

Stuffed after last updateSince last update all my notes have disappeared. Also the app just locks up. I paid all this money for a useless app. Never again..Version: 10.0.3

Apple Watch Needs workGoing to preface this review by saying that a good Apple Watch integration with complications was a must for me when picking a habit app. On the surface Habitify meets the requirement. Good UI, useful iOS and watch apps, complication. However the sync between the watch and phone and the complication update is atrocious. You complete something on the phone and it’s not there on the watch. You complete something the day before and the complication advances one step but does not reset after midnight, leaving you with one or more completed habits on the watch face that are not actually completed - shocking testing really. Have now switched to everyday, which was my runner up app, it’s not as nice but it’s at least functional..Version: 12.4.1

Doesn't Sync & Asks for a lot of DataThis app is garbage. I specifically was looking for a habit tracker that I could synce with my phone/apple watch/iMac. I was so excited when I found Habitfy on a list of highly rated habit tracking apps, that I immediately purchased the $50 lifetime subscription. BIG MISTAKE. I spent hours after my purchase trying, unsuccessfully, to sync the desktop app to my apple ID account. I read on their website that you have to link your Apple ID, a google account, AND another email address in order to sync across devices. Even though this is EXTREMELY SUSPICIOUS (why would they need access to so much information just to sync a few habits???) I still went ahead and tried it. Didn't work, of course. I tried to reach out to their tech support as well, but no response. If you click "Help" on the desktop app it literally says "Help is not avaiable for Habitfy"LOL I've requested a refund because the app does NOT function as advertised. I have other apps that sync accross iCloud with just a click of a button and work seamlessly. This is absolute GARBAGE..Version: 10.1.1

Bad UX, can’t easily view historical dataI purchased the lifetime subscription and used it to 9 months. The latest updates have turned a mediocre app into something quite unusable. It’s incredibly difficult to navigate between months of historical data for a habit and apparently impossible to see your monthly data further back than 6 months. When I purchased the app at least I could scroll through the calendar and update habits for multiple days. Now you have to navigate months via a drop down..Version: 10.2.2

From $ to $$$$$$This is an okay habits app that I’ve been playing around with for a couple of weeks (free trial mode: three habits, MAX). I was considering paying the $10 one-time fee to unlock a “lifetime membership” to use the full version (FOUR OR MORE habits, yippeee!). But just now, all of a sudden, the $10 “lifetime” option has vanished and been replaced with a subscription scheme in which the same $10 would last not for a “lifetime”, but for two or three MONTHS. And then you get to pay it again, and again, and again, ad infinitum. I *might* be willing to pay a dollar a month on a continuing basis for this app, but I’m sorry, it ain’t worth sixty bucks a year. Buh-bye!.Version: 5.1.1

Price is way too much for what this is.I don't know what moron came up with these prices. 7.99$ a month, 29.99$ a year or 54.99$ for lifetime. I installed because of mention of lifetime, but for 55$ that is unnaceptable. Little tip, lower your prices and you will sell more product, your prices are litterally highway robbery. For 2$ I printed and laminated a daily task list, as well as the 1$ for the non permanent marker. Has lasted me 5 years. Thought I would switch to digital, but these people are litterally trying to rob us. For an app that probably very little time to code, hell I pay 70$ for games that people spend millions developing. This is 55$ for an app they probably spend a couple grand developing. Very dissapointed..Version: 6.4.2

This app could be so much better if the devs had a vision for it.This app has potential. My main problem is the lack of HealthKit integration. It has a few but baffles me as to the ones it picks and all the ones it leaves out. I tried to make a suggestion to the devs about things that would make it better. But to do that you have to register with another site and then let users vote on them. Designing and app by public option to me is a terrible way to operate and tells me they have zero clues about the way forward. Not to mention this other site never sent me a registration email to even post my suggestions. My opinion is to use another app. Streaks comes to mind if you want deep HealthKit integration..Version: 13.0.0

UnsubscribeThis app doesn’t give clear direction on how to opt out of email marketing, which violates the law - One such law is the US’s CAN-SPAM legislation. This law, enforced by the Federal Trade Commission, states clearly that you must include a clearly obvious way for subscribers to opt out of your commercial messages: Tell recipients how to opt out of receiving future email from you. Your message must include a clear and conspicuous explanation of how the recipient can opt out of getting email from you in the future. Craft the notice in a way that’s easy for an ordinary person to recognize, read, and understand. Creative use of type size, color, and location can improve clarity. Give a return email address or another easy Internet-based way to allow people to communicate their choice to you. You may create a menu to allow a recipient to opt out of certain types of messages, but you must include the option to stop all commercial messages from you. Make sure your spam filter doesn’t block these opt-out requests..Version: 13.0.0

Won’t stop sending me emailsI hadn’t used the app in probably 2 years and now it is suddenly sending me daily emails. There is no option to unsubscribe on the email and I can’t find anywhere in the app to change email settings. I then DELETED my account and I am still getting emails. So I am reporting the emails as spam and will be blocking them. Very concerning about my personal information that deleting my whole account doesn’t actually do anything and that my email is still obviously on file..Version: 13.0.0

Email spamSuddenly receiving emails on my “progress” daily and doesn’t have a button to unsubscribe. Forces you to download the app to do so. Poor tactic..Version: 13.0.0

SO disappointedI paid full price for this app & there’s features it won’t do, (like checking future habits are in place- I don’t want to have to check every morning that my habits are in the correct order) plus it’s ALWAYS ALWAYS freezing everytime I open it.. So frustrated after entering all my scheduled habits into this & now I’m using another (cheaper) app.. 👎🏼.Version: 3.6.1

Not worth the moneyThere are better apps out there, for the subscription price I don’t think this is worth it at all..Version: 10.4

Doesn't work on the MacGreat on iOS and iPadOS but the Mac version doesn't work at all. It stopped syncing weeks ago and so this morning I logged out and tried to log back in and got an error message about not being able to connect to the server. (Every other app is working fine.) I deleted it and re-installed it from the App Store and now it's logged in as Guest and when I click the Sign Out button (in preferences) and click confirm on the modal that pops up, nothing at all happens. Old Review: A bumpy start but worked in the end There were some difficulties in setting up the integrations with IFTTT and Zapier but, once I figured out which habits are registered as a status update and which are registered as a new log, it worked quickly. I'm excited to be able to connect my habit tracker to my accountability app..Version: 10.1.1

Took my moneyI purchased a life-time premium upgrade on my previous phone, that phone got stolen and on my new phone when I download the app, despite logging in it doesn’t show my purchase anymore and is prompting me to buy all over again. I’d use it if they restored my purchase.Version: 10.1.4

Used to be great, now it’s mehI had been a long time user and supporter of the app (started using in ~2015) and I’ve gone through a few of the app redesigns — the last one although well-intentioned has been poorly implemented and has led me to stop using this app altogether 1. spanish language translations are not well done, and clear & major errors (that I’ve notified the development team of twice) have not been fixed in years 2. sync between watch had phone is terribly unreliable 3. watch complications are broken and have been for many years 4. bugs when opening iPad app it feels like the development team gave up 1/2 of the way through the app redesign, and it’s sad because I really enjoyed the app.Version: 12.4.1

EhThere’s nothing much to it Can easily just put a reminder for it in reminders rather than going through the struggle of downloading the app After all, all it does is send a notification out for the habits you choose. With saying this, you are only able to set 3 habits maximum or you have to pay. Sure there are the graphs and completion stuff but is a really necessary? In my opinion there should be more to it..Version: 3.1

Money GrabThe app works fine, but you only get three habits to track and then it asks you for money. I expected it to cost somewhere in the ballpark of 5-10 dollars for the whole program which is more than reasonable for what it is, but they want an annual fee of $25! Alternatively you can buy the entire program for a one time fee of $50 or pay a monthly fee of $5 (which again should be a one time cost for the entire program). Let's be clear here; this is an app that sends reminders to you and gives you a virtual high five when you've accomplished your task. That's it. Nothing fancy about any of it. The interface is nice, but is it worth $50? Absolutely not. There are over 200 ratings on this app; if hypothetically 200 people liked the program enough to spend 10 dollars on it that would mean the programmers would have made somwhere around $20,000 dollars and I can guarantee you that it took a fraction of that to actually make this thing. The price point on this program is absoletely ludicrous, and it would appear the main habit the developers wish to instill in users is the one that puts money into their (devs) pockets. Hard pass from me..Version: 10.1

Habitify updateOriginal Habitify was able to sync between devices over personal iCloud. This has been removed in this new version regrettably..Version: 13.0.1

Apple Watch complications are brokenComplications constantly show “All completed” even when nothing is. Pretty good app apart from this issue, wish I could use it but it’s not as good without the watch..Version: 6.4.2

Free Version too LimitedI was really impressed by this at first (looks good, intuitive etc.) but felt that the limited usability of the free version didn’t compel me to upgrade to the paid one. I actually think if more habits could have been added in the free version (even just 5 rather than 3) then I’d have used it for longer and probably upgraded..Version: 4.3.2

Do Not Buy This AppLet me say first of all that the app itself is excellent and very good at what it is supposed to do. However 2 days after I bought the app for 9.99 so not a cheap app, they informed us via their Facebook page that they were changing the pricing structure. As a consequence my 9.99 had merely bought a year subscription to what is in essence a tick box app It tracks habits, very low overhead, I doubt there is much more development that can be done yet they want to jump on the subscription bandwagon. At this rate every single app will go down the subscription model it is truly becoming insane. But in my opinion this was a dishonest move, they could have made it so that anyone who purchased after the introduction of the subscription had to pay it, as they would have signed up under those rules. So my advise to you would be consider streaks or some other habit forming app, as the only habit Habitify wants you to get into is paying their subscription..Version: 5.0

BadIt’s a good app but i don’t like the fact where I only have one habit which is fair as I don’t want to pay for the subscription but I can’t even complete the check in and I am out of the free use and I feel like for people who don’t want to pay for the subscription should be allowed only 1 habit and allowed to check in everyday without a free use 🤦🏽‍♂️.Version: 10.8.2

No allowance for going beyond set goalsThe only way to see every goal every day is to set your completion goal to 7 days a week. If my goal is to complete something five days a week but I manage to do it six (hooray!), it's very difficult log it (there is a way but it's fiddly and tedious). I spoke to the developers and was told they disagreed that it would be motivating to complete goals more often than the goal you set to begin with. Excuse me? Maybe some people prefer not to see completed goals in their daily list, but surely for lots of other people, seeing the things you've already completed is MORE motivational than only ever seeing all the things you still have left to do? Not to mention the good feeling that comes from being able to log an extra completion, going above and beyond your goal? Bottom line: this would be an INCREDIBLY easy setting option to add (no need to make it universal because sure, people have different preferences) but I was really appalled at the developers' suggestion that I obviously don't know what I find motivating. There is absolutely no good reason for not including this as a setting option other than sheer arrogance..Version: 6.4

Dodge as hell! 😣It’s gone from bad to shockingly bad. The app used to be an $8 one time payment, and now the dodgy developer has jacked up his pricing to a ‘subscription’ of $40 a year for some basic as hell to do list app. All you do is tick off a list, and that’s it. Bugs are riddled throughout the app as always too. Don’t let them fool you with their deviant monthly or yearly pricing, their doing it to live off your hard earned dollars. And I thought they cared. Terrible ruthless antics, it shouldn’t be allowed on the App Store no more! 😖.Version: 5.4

Don’t use the mood trackerI love this app for about 70% of its features. If you try to use the mood features at all and write notes about your mood (as the app prompts you), you’ll only be able to see those notes for a month. Then the app kicks them into a void. I’ve reached out multiple times to try to get a copy of all the notes I’ve entered and they basically just tell me it’s not possible and maybe it’ll be something they implement at some undisclosed time in the future. Very frustrating to know I used the features as intended and they were basically erased and are now unobtainable. The app works fine and as intended for all other habit tracking..Version: 13.2.3

Deleted my account and they keep sending emailsEven after I deleted my account, I keep getting an email every day from this app. You must include a link in the email that unsubscribes and does not require a sign-in. When I sign in to turn off emails it just creates another new account. So frustrating. Never download this app they will keep sending you emails forever..Version: 13.0.0

Ruined by the latest update! Why can’t developers just leave things alone? This was an excellent app until the latest update! Now most of the functionally seems to have mysteriously disappeared. I found the ‘time log’ feature especially useful in previous versions. I’d been logging the time I spent on certain tasks each day for the last 4 months. Now all that data has vanished without a trace! Spoke to customer support and they replied to my first message and now seem to be ignoring me completely - absolutely no help at all! I just hope they haven’t moved most of the functionally from the free app to the paid version, as a cunning ploy to try and force you to pay more money!.Version: 10.0.2

Good App, but Buggy and Slightly Confusing UXWorks well, but some bugs (had to restart to check off new habits), and managing habits (reorganizing) requires going into a separate screen. Finding / editing future habits not easy either, and would be great to have a "comments" section for each habit. The Notes are per-day and can't be edited, only deleted..Version: 6.4.2

Great but not so greatI do believe this is a great app for those who are willing to spend money on apps, But for me who does not do that, it’s not so great anymore. A lot of the features on this app needs you to pay, honestly this isn’t worth it. Even Dark mode, on any other apps it’s free but here? Every time I open something new, I have a feeling that would happen. But above all of that, this is a good app to make your days better, but I do wish they removed some of the paying on nonessential stuff like dark mode. If you ever get to this please take my suggestion, I am pretty sure some other people would too, thanks for reading!(if you do).Version: 6.3

Apple Watch complication not updatingQuite a good habit tracker. However I am disappointed that the Apple Watch complication on the watch face does not seem to work. Forever states there is 1/1 habit complete although tapping this and opening the app reveals 0/3 habits completed..Version: 12.0

The update made the UI clunkierI’m not sure why this app was recently updated to add extra taps in order to navigate. I used to be able to instantly tap on any other day of the week in the top bar, and to also swipe left or right to choose days even further ahead or behind. I used to be able to swipe left or right on habit’s month views and see other months. Now I have to tap a disclosure triangle to show the top bar first. And in month view, to get to another month, I have to open a menu, and choose from a list of just six months. If I want to look at a month prior to April 2020 to see my habits, guess what... I can’t. The app has been updated not only to make things take more time, but to make it literally impossible to see data I used to be able to see in a matter of seconds. Why did you guys make this change??.Version: 10.0.2

Absolute JokeOn the website it says its not a subscription and you can buy it for 7.99 but u cant!! they offer subscriptioon for 7.99 and crazy 50 something dollars for lifetime. I am shocked that they are flat out lying in their FAQ..Version: 5.7.1

This use to cost 15 flatI bought the app when there was no subscription required for $15. I was surprised to see that it has now gone up to $55 per year..Version: 6.1

Nice in principle but big hassle to cancel PremiumLooks nice, but Premium version is ridiculously overpriced. Also, when trying to cancel Premium, you have to contact them by e-mail which results in no reaction at all. They keep charging even after closing down the account (so you couldn't even use the Premium subscription you don't want). It's a shame since the app itself is pretty and works well, but not being able to cancel subscriptions is not acceptable..Version: 6.2.3

Looks pretty, but the free plan is a lieAfter about a month of using Habitify, I’m no longer able to track my habits. I can’t add anything, I just get a pop up for premium. There’s no clarification anywhere what you actually get with the free plan, so I have to assume this is by design. I’m not paying $5 a month just to tick things off and the one time price of $90 is insane..Version: 10.1.3

Don’t know yet!Constant errors!!.Version: 10.1

Bad experienceI’ve been using this app for many months and actually liked it. However after the most recent update, I no longer have access to the “Notes” function and it forces you to pay to upgrade to the pro version to gain access. I mean seriously? You should put a warning in bold font so people can make an informed decision wether they want to update the app or not. Now I lost all my notes for almost 300 days! It doesn’t matter to the developer anyway. Good job..Version: 5.5

Best so far but could be betterI like that I can complete habits from my watch. I won’t stick to it otherwise. But the watch interface could be better. The little widget bar that looks like it should show progress doesn’t. It always looks like 2/3 of my habits are done. Clicking on notifications lets you “check in” but I don’t think that’s the same as marking it “done” and I’m not convinced it does anything at all. I’d like to be able to mark the habit as completed at that point. Marking it as complete involves a deep dive into the interface—and I get it, not much screen real estate to work with, but it’s harder to use than it needs to be. I’d rather see the completed:skip options show up right away, before is it done or not instead of after. The only other complaint is no possibility for longer habit cycles. The habits are tied to specific days. That’s not great for the neurodivergent brain. I’d love the ability to track habit over a week. There are loads of things I need to do at least once a week but trying to force them weekly (eg must be Tuesday rather than at least once but could be any day) makes me less likely to do them. It means I need to keep some other list outside of the app and make the in-app habit really generic (like “exercise” with some external weekly specific exercise list) and then I have no way of tracking things like do I habitually ignore particular exercises..Version: 13.2.4

Great app. In theory. In practice, basic things like notifications don’t workThis is a fantastic app idea. Really great functionality. However, the notifications do not work on the IOS version. All of my settings are on. I’ve checked in the Apple Settings and the app itself. It sends me afternoon briefing notifications which I’ve turned off and does not send me reminders for the actual habit. The visual cue is the key part of any new habit formation and the cue is not working. I’m now having to download another app to remind me to do my habits. Not exactly ideal..Version: 10.4.4

Another subscription app? Why?This is more of a general rant on pricing, but I’m fed up with apps that charge a subscription fee and don’t offer significant content worth subscribing to. This seems like a great app... I’d happily pay £20 for as a one-off. Maybe they could produce a new major version worth upgrading to some day, but an app which is basically local and just uses iCloud to sync my data to other platforms is not a “service”...my habits don’t need a rack of servers to justify ongoing fees. I don’t see what value could be significantly added to this app as it is to justify a commitment to pay for it into perpetuity....Version: 5.1

The worstThe worst app ever you have to pay.Version: 6.3

Having problems - creators are emailing me to solveThey are trying hard to help me sort out..Version: 12.4.1

Download mac app from their websiteThis app doesn't work, don't bother downloading. However, you can download an updated version of the app from their website. I gather it's still a work in progress, but functions well enough if you want to use your computer sometimes. I reached out to the developers and the response was so quick. Very impressive..Version: 10.1

Potential, but some issues...So, it’s a useful app, and I appreciate the sync between platforms. However, there are some issues: (1) The payment model changes between iOS and Mac. On my iPhone there’s a lifetime payment option, which does not appear on the App Store on the Mac. Also the subscription charges are very different amounts between the two versions. (2) The app automatically tracks your progress to a week/month, so you’re always playing catch-up to 100%. This means you can start the week perfectly, but still have a discouraging score of 14%. I prefer being at 100% every day you perform a habit. (3) The UX could really use a splash of color and a freshen-up!.Version: 6.2.4

Constant email spam - avoidUsed this app for a day or two before deciding it wasn’t for me, largely because of the subscription costs, but they’ve kept emailing me for MONTHS afterwards. I kept getting daily email notifications about my “habits” long after I’d stoped using the app - the “unsubscribe” link in those emails doesn’t work because you can’t switch off emails via a browser, so I had to re-download the app to get it to stop pestering me. I’m now getting regular marketing emails instead, despite hitting the “unsubscribe” link every time. Wish I’d never used this awful spam-ridden app: do not download it unless you want it constantly clogging your inbox..Version: 13.1.1

Money? Anyone got money?Because that’s what I need to even USE this app. Everything costs money from having more than 3 habits or even having more than 1 reminder for 1 habit. The list goes on and on. Definitely a uninstall from me..Version: 4.3.3

Doesn't Sync with iPhone or iPadThe Mac app will be awesome when they add syncing functionality. Until then, basically useless.Version: 10.1

Turned to garbage with last updateI have been happily using this app for good 7 months, but the latest update broke almost everything in it: - I get double push notifications — I said double, not duplicate, because one comes with different number of reminders than the second one ugggh - one of the habit I had been tracking has completely disappeared from the list; what on earth? - dates on tope navbar are completely broken; clicking on previews day moves me back in month??? and the list goes on... I’ll wait for another update but if these things don’t get fixed I’ll be looking for alternatives. Being a programmer myself, I was happy to spend a few quid on this and I can tolerate an occasional bug, but this is a bit too much of broken stuff and I really just need to get back to tracking my habits again..Version: X

Throttled before I can determine if worth subscribingCan’t even get started with this one. I’m unwilling to pay for something I don’t know can meet the need. The free version only allows 3 items for a routine. That may be enough for some but if that’s all I had, I’d stick with fridge notes. I just now saw a similar review with a response of an offer for a free week of premium. While that is nice, imo the time investment of setting up routines potentially for only one week of use is not worth it. No charge for 10-15 items would be useful. If it does what I need, I’d pay just to get rid of ads/in app purchases. If there are other benefits to subscribing, even more reason to pay. But to be throttled before I’m out of the gate? No thanks..Version: 10.5.1

Very basicThis is pretty Mickey Mouse for basic, and way too expensive to pay for..Version: 6.2.4

Upgrade centricYou only get three habits with the free version which is fair, but then you are frequently prompted to upgrade and I was even blocked from entering missing data until I upgraded. I deleted the app..Version: 10.1.5

DisappointedInitially I was very pleased with the app: it allowed simple data entry and metrics to see weekly habit performance and progress, and for £40 a lifetime subscription plus the ability to download my data. A year on, much of my painstaking data entry was lost (apparently due to an upgrade gone wrong) and the feature allowing data download was removed. I was also denied a refund due to the company’s arrangement with Apple. The feature I liked most (comparison of weekly overall ‘scores’ / counts of all habits) was also sadly removed. A simple thing done well that’s become a bit of a mess..Version: 10.1

Basic and buggyI’ve been using Habitify for almost 2 years now, and have finally decided it’s time to move on. Where Habitify is best is getting you to log your habits. Since it’s so basic there’s very little friction to getting data into the app. The real problem is getting data out; the analytics are simple at best, and buggy and lacking at worst. Its most egregious shortcoming is that the graphs do not work. I find the progress tab almost unusable as a result, making the whole thing kind of pointless..Version: 10.6
