✓ Love it please see suggestionsThis game is real good but a couple things should be changed. First change the umpires voice because I think the umpire voice should be a little bit more American. Be able to have more control with your team and have a bench where they re watching. Different reactions. Whenever you hit a homer or strike out they will do the same reaction every time. Also I do not like the fact sometimes the batter swings misses and throws the bat. I think that is unnecessary and bad because in real life that is very dangerous. In the upgraded stadium when you hit a foul ball you can see clearly that there is no one in the stands. But batting you can see people so have people in the stands when you hit a foul. Have a closing pitcher when the other team is like 1 run away from wining in the last inning. Thank you for reading. Hopefully you can change some stuff!.Version: 1.5.2

✓ Great game! But...Highly addictive. Fair awards given. Looks great. I only have a couple of suggestions. Some I think affect gameplay and others are just small details. 1. Make it easier to change the lineup. Why do you have two rows of players in the lineup screen if I can’t interchange them? And why in order to change the order in the lineup do I have to substitute then change positions? Is it possible to do a drag and switch option? 2. Better rewards for specific baseball achievements. Example: I pitched a no hitter in my challenge mode game, but didn’t really get any kind of reward for it. I got a player card of o remember correctly but I ended up combining him with another because he wasn’t that good. Didn’t really get a whole lot back in points either but I’m guessing it’s because I only won 1-0 3. Left handed batters helmets. The flap is on the wrong ear. I don’t know if it would be too much to switch the ear flap, but maybe a meet in the middle option would be to just use two flaps on all batters? 4.Grammatical/baseball stat errors. Sometimes the grammar doesn’t suit the former action. Ex: 1 for 3 but singles. It was one hit, not multiple. Or 2 for 3 but strikeouts. Maybe it would be easier to use actual baseball stat grammar? IE K for strikeout, BB for walk, etc..Version: 1.6.0
✓ Overall pretty decentIt overall is a great game, but the reason I’m not giving 4.5 and above is because of 3 problems. 1) Batting delay: If you are batting, you may notice a bit longer than usual batting delay, so it takes a bit of timing to get it down. 2) 1 base hits: When you hit it pretty far, like for instance in the back of the outfield, I have noticed I only gain 1 base even after a long hit like that, and if I get lucky, maybe a double. Definitely need to fix that. 3) Defense: Also when you are batting, there needs to be a bit more of an advantage to get bases, instead of getting out for what would normally be an easy base in MLB and even for little leaguers. Otherwise those problems, it is very fun and doesn’t get boring..Version: 1.6.7

I also want to have stuff added, like make it to where you get more CP for every ad you watch it has taking me a month just to get like 20 CP. Another thing is make the stadiums different more like put water features and stuff like that. One that I really want is to make a online mode where you can compete against other people instead of crushing the CPU teams, and in there put a home run derby if you have like a player that can hit a lot of home runs. One last thing is to make the player name change less expensive cuz I had a golden legend player and I wanted to rename him but it was like 1500 BP for it. ✓ More things!I love this game sooo much! I am totally addicted and play this game often. Thought I think that this game could have more pitches such as the: Riser, screwball and drop ball. Some glitches: hen I try and rename a player it automatically exits out, when the its batter up it shows the strike zone and then glitches away, sometimes it doesn’t say when I got an out or whether he’s safe. More names I think this game should have more games than 9. Such as knights,tornados, predators, wildcats, gators, angels, cyclones and the blaze. Things I think should be added into the game: past balls by the catcher, you can get away from dead balls by swiping, have an option in settings to remove strike zone. Thank you!.Version: 1.5.9

✓ Needs more featuresThis game is extremely addictive. It does have some glitches that need to be fixed. Another problem is there is only 9 teams, and every teams name is already used in a sports league. If you added 9 more teams there could be 2 divisions and an all star game. Here is some team names; Waves, Rebels, Spartans, Nighthawks, Navigaters and the Pilots. This game also looks like it was ripped off of wii sports. There should be an option to swipe the screen to dodge a wild ball. The logos could be better but don’t really mind them. The playoffs is weird. Because there is no divisions like the mlb there can’t be playoffs. This game is a whole lot of fun it is fun to pitch and to hit but it would be better if you could aim your bunts instead of it being random. This would require WiFi, but if you added a battle mode to play your friends would be awesome. If you could reduce the amount of the infield flys would be great. ✓ Awesome but needs more contentI have recently fallen in love with Baseball Star again but I think there need to be many things changed here what... 1 More teams: More teams Is more fun I think there should be two whole divisions like AL and NL for a MLB example maybe a league of the current teams and add 9 new ones for another division. 2 Playoffs need to be changed. One of my biggest complaints is the Playoffs they work like this. Top 4 teams make it that's fair a wild card game would be cool but not necessary, 3 Seed and 4 Seed play, what???? Just them two? That's weird. Winner plays 2 seed is semifinals that's kinda dumb. The winner of that goes to play 1 seed in the finals! The one seed gets a buy too the finals that to me is beyond dumb Playus Soft if you're reading this PLEASE CHANGE THE PLAYOFFS 3 to be honest this is just a "Quality of Life" thing but I think there should be more character diversity most players are white men with black hair. Occasionally there is a bigger guy and blond guy or an African American guy. There should be more characteristic like Gingers, Brunettes, Hispanic people, etc with those and more of the other characteristic it should be easier to make newer teams I love this game and I am so excited too see where it goes with enough love this game can be one of the most successful baseball games on the market. ✓ Love the game but...So I the game I’m enjoying it you know getting hits running around the bags but then I decide to steal my fastest guy with 90 speed but because of the mechanics I can’t click not the bag I want my guy to got to but a small whit arrow that has a small hit box and so I don’t realize it’s there and when I do I miss it halve that time. Another thing is that when I try to send my guy back I click on the bag because I feel like I’m controlling there movement but no I now tell the guy who just hit to go to that bag and my guy stealing gets out which them leads to tha batter getting out because he is now going to the wrong bag..Version: 1.5.2
✓ I play this game dailyThis is by far one of the best mobile baseball games out there. I’ve had it for well over a year (maybe two) and I still play it daily. Two suggestions: I love a good comeback in sports as much as the next fan. The Madden-esque comeback default in this game is a bit much, though. It’s tiresome to struggle through monstrous come-from-behind scenarios in almost every game. If I’m up 13 runs, then I’ve earned that. The game doesn’t need to go from 15-2 to 15-14 in the 8th and 9th innings all the time. The other suggestion I have involves base running control. When I have a player who tries to tag up on a fly out, I want more control. At this point, if I tell them to go back and not to advance, because I think it’s a bad idea, the runner will stay on the bag, wait until the ball is IN THE GLOVE of the baseman, and then try to advance anyway. If I tell them to go back, they should stay at the directed base. They should NOT try and advance anyway, get stuck in a pickle, and be out every time. Again: one of the best sports games I’ve ever downloaded. Still love it after all this time!.Version: 1.5.8

✓ Great gameI really enjoy playing this game. I have won twenty or more championships. I have only one complaint or suggestion. It is nearly impossible to make a team with all the same players, aka like just Epic players. Can you have it so you have a choice to only get players from one team? Even if it costs extra BP or CP? Trying to combine players to get just players that are 4-5 star would take years. Also, better rewards for different accomplishments, aka cycles, multiple homers, no hitters, shutouts, etc. Reward players with good players for things like that instead of just getting a 1 star player for winning..Version: 1.6.2

I feel by adding 9 more teams to play for will add something to keep the game more lively, I also feel that there should be options to play easy hard or extreme, and easy mode will allow athletes to be 1 to 3 stars, hard will be 2 to 5 stars and extreme will as two more stars, 4 to 7 stars, these 6 and 7 star characters will have incredible everything, but still balanced, and having a multiplayer option would be great, and maybe a ranking system across the globe to see which team is the best and you can challenge anyone in the world to play against, and by setting up a league where you only play teams that are run by them in real time. ✓ Great game, however...This is an amazing game! Once you start playing, its hard not to keep going. However I intend on keeping this short so I will get straight to the problem, which is an easy fix. Many people love this game, like me, therefore when you play a lot, it gets annoying to have to X out of a tab that is asking you if you love the game and if so, review the game. I am okay with it coming up once, and me tapping no, but it comes up after EVERY GAME!! If someone is willing to rate this game, they will do so after the first or second time it comes up. The ads are okay, they come up quite often but I understand every free app has to make their money, which makes sense why there is a "no ads" button for $1.99. ✓ What an underrated baseball game!I never write reviews, however I'm writing one for baseball stars because no one has and it deserves one. I've played literally every baseball game including baseball superstars, the MLB games and the home run derby, but this is just the best. ✓ Great gameThis game is great. The players are very diverse with all kinds of ways to improve on your team and the individual person even though it does take a bit of time to develop a solid team. Really like the normal season and challenge season modes. I do wish we could get a lil bit better prices if you win the season and championship like more team items instead of having to pay for them. One thing is I hope the makers can think of a way to make this online or Bluetooth with friends to play against eachother, that would change this drastically. One problem I had was when I combined a green blue and purple card and got a green card out of it. But I get it, it’s all part of the action. You can’t get all the good players. Anyways I also don’t know how to switch my lineup around. If you could label that on the instructions like you have everything else when you first get the game that would help. Really the only problem you should fix in this game is multiplayer. Soooo many more people we download and play this game if you can play against your friends. ✓ No doubt 5 stars if...There NEEDS to be a screen before batting that you HAVE to touch the screen to start hitting. As soon as you get your third out throwing, batting starts automatically. I often put down my phone after an out to maybe itch my nose or something, and I sometimes forget it was the 3rd pitching out and batting has started. Next thing I know it is 0-2 count with 2 outs. I should have learned better by now, but this is a constant mistake I make that loses me a lot of games. Gameplay wise, this game is phenomenal. Only only other complaints I have are that the player combination RNG, I think it would be much better if it was constant. Also make the other teams better. You might want to change the base running picture, when running and looking at the graph, for some reason you are safe when you touch the outer edge of the base, and when making a decision, you might think you can make it, decide to run confident you will make it. And then out, you forgot you have to touch the corner of the bag. Also the homerun clip plays when the ball doesn’t even go over the wall, and they just get a free score. 1 quick note, there is a weird glitch where the other team’s base runner runs when he isn’t supposed to and ends up on the same bag as their teammate and you can’t throw them out. ✓ I like this gameThis game is very good and I play it a lot, there is a few issues I would like to bring up. First of all, when a high foul ball is hit say there is a guy on first, if he gets to second he gets to stay there which should not happen. Another thing, one of the recent updates must have a bug because whenever I click the game on my phone, it loads for a few seconds then blacks out and kicks me back to my home screen. ✓ Great baseball game! Foul bug needs to be fixed thoughI've been playing for a while and really enjoy it. The timing isn't too hard to get down if you play baseball and understand pitching/hitting. It becomes very easy to win. Although the auto play option is the only time I have ever lost so beware of that. Also there's a huge bug that hasn't been addressed yet, and that is the foul ball bug. It occurs when a high foul ball is hit with players on base. The players will advance to the next base, and if on third, will disappear. Otherwise a great baseball game worth playing. Every time I hit one I hat sitting through the entire animation to the point where I don’t even like hitting home runs anymore. Second I think the opponents should get better over time. I’ve won the league championship 67 times now and the other teams are easy to beat every time. Every time the player wins the league the opponents should get better the next season. This has players more entertained for longer, and will make people more prone to keep playing rather than become bored. A new name Baseball X or Baseball 9 MVP This will make people feel out of date and play baseball X or Baseball 9 MVP because it will be known as the newer version. ✓ Fun game for young and old.I really enjoy playing. My grand daughters love it too. One is five and the other one eight. You don’t have to spend $$$ to enjoy it. I have noticed an occasional glitch. If you have a runner on first and a long foul ball is hit, and runner rounds second before foul has stopped, instead of going back to first, it only goes back to second. For me, it’s no big deal. Sometimes it works against me and sometimes for me. I too, would like to understand if there’s any rhyme or reason to combing players. To me it seems to be pot luck on results you get. ✓ Good game, but needs improvementsThis game is a very fun game to play and watch I have 10 oranges and the rest purples but I have some suggestions you need to fix this happens to me a lot every time i have runners on 1st and 2nd with less than 2 outs my runner will tag up on a ball that’s in shallow center and every time I try to go back to 2nd to not tag I’m just standing on 2nd base no touching anything and the runner is out very time. Another thing is the combination thingy is a ripoff one time 1 combined 6 purples and I get a 3 stared purple pitcher when I should’ve gotten a orange. Another complaint is that I don’t like how 90% of the time I have the bases loaded with one out, or the bases loaded with nobody and every time I hit a pop out or a line out to the shortstop. It’s great you don’t need internet which is great for times you’re flying on airplane mode. very entertaining and challenging game. But once you get the hang of it, you’ll be hooked. The only reason I would give it 3.5 starts is because I’ve had trouble transferring data to another phone. Which is not ideal when you have to start over from the the bottom. I invested about $10-$20 in credit to buy players, gear to increase stats, and stadiums. But when it came time to transfer the data it wouldn’t go through even though it was saved on the cloud. So this was the reason I was kind of turned off by this game.Version: 1.6.8
✓ Truly one of the most fun games I have played.Been playing Baseball Star for a number of years now and it just doesn’t seem to get old to me. It is great mix of arcade baseball (with some good stats thrown in - only wished that they carried over from season to season but only a minor comment on that), rpg elements regarding getting and upgrading players, and a gacha system. Overall a very enjoyable game. I do have three points that I would like to make regarding the game: 1) A practice or open play mode would have a nice feature so that you could acquire a “feel” for the team you’re using before “having to commit to a team”. 2) Some of throwing routes from the outfield to home are especially quirky to say the least. The outfielder should just hit the cutoff and make the throw home. Annoying at times but again quirky. 3) This one however is something that I hope could be remedied going forward and that is the auto tag up and advance function especially from 2nd base to third. Yes it is true that you can the runner back but 9 times out of 10 the fielder throws in behind the runner and usually you cannot make it back and your runner will be out. This can end a potentially good inning and lose a game over something not within your span of control. The auto tag up feature is okay but it would be helpful if the player had the choice on taking the chance of advancing. Again a very fun and enjoyable experience and I hope to play for many years to come..Version: 1.7.0

✓ Awesome!I play baseball irl, and this game is really good, a few things though that could need some work is, the stealing, it’s always the same thing, you get out basically all of the time, there should be a way to time it and steal at a chosen time to prevent getting out all of the time. And another thing would be, I’ve noticed when the ball is hit near a player, the glove isn’t even next to ball and they still grab it. Overall great game with a lot of detail. ✓ Great Game One thing that bugs me...This is a wonderful 3-D Baseball game! I’m addicted and in love with it! I have only one quarrel with it though and that is this situation that has happened on several occasions. I have one/no out(s), a player on first and third, and I hit a fly ball deep enough for my runner on 3rd base to tag and score. When the opposition throws the ball and (sometimes) tries to make a play at home, I will usually attempt to take 2nd base with my runner on 1st. Stay with me, because when the opposition’s catcher throws the ball 2nd base my runner will be called safe...then without doing anything else (not touching the screen, literally just holding my device) it’ll change the call to out. So please change this if at all possible. I love to play an aggressive style of baseball and I can’t do that if the system bugs and call me safe, then out for no reason. But besides that one detail, love the game!.Version: 1.6.5
✓ Amazing Game! 1 glitchThis is an amazing game! I love it and have been playing it for quite some time now! I have an issue though that I’m hoping can be fixed. Sometimes when I have my runner going from first to second(while one of running home) he slides into base and is safe until he turns about face and then is called out. He is clearly safe by a mile, but there is a glitch happening causing him to be called out. Can y’all please fix this issue? It is bugging the crap out of me that my inning comes to close based off a glitch. Otherwise great game! Thanks!.Version: 1.7.1
✓ Fun game!Edit: Any chance there will be a batting practice and/or home run derby mode? Either or both of those would be a fun addition to the game. Also, a hitting mechanic that takes advantage of the accelerometer to determine bat position would be cool. Does the “control” pitcher attribute have any practical effect? It would be cool if a pitcher with poor control had a control bubble that contracted more quickly. Better control would lead to a slower contracting control bubble, making it easier to pitch. On the UX, I think the walkthrough overlays are confusing (at first I didn’t understand I was in a walkthrough and thought I was playing the game) and the text is, in may cases, way too small to read on a smartphone. As to the translation issues, they are kind of charming (e.g. - “air outs” instead of “pop out” or “fly out”) and do not really take away from the fun or playability. Would be very cool if these game mechanics could be applied to a MLB/MLBPA-licensed game. Original review: The controls and game playing experience are really fun, especially pitching. The concept is reminiscent of the old Baseball Stars game for NES. The UX is awkward and the game is badly translated, but these flaws do not take away from the playability..Version: 1.4.8

✓ Fun can use upgradingI have had this game off and on and I have had a good time. But this time I am taking it more seriously and upgrading players. When doing this I noticed that when I upgraded someone and it completed that it said plus a number next to the thing I upgraded for example I upgraded someone a lot and it says plus 11 next to the power which is 70. So I thought the power is 81 but when I looked at the lineup and clicked on the player there it said the power was 70. So I was wondering if there is something I need to do or if it’s a glitch. Also I noticed that sometimes when a player on the other team catches a ball it sometimes looks like they don’t because it is so far away so I was wonder if you can maybe have players catch a ball less of the time. But overall it’s a fun game and I enjoy it..Version: 1.7.0
