✓ A flawed masterpieceI’ve played all the way through and overall I loved the experience thanks to quirky humor, beautiful art, seemingly endless surprises and details, and wide variety of things to do. My biggest complaint is that the first-person-shooter aspect of the game is not challenging at all, at least once I upgrade my weapons. After implementing all the technology for a magnificent shooter both on the ground and in space, I’m sad the devs let this play such a small role in the game. A hard mode for combat is desperately needed. It’s still a great game, but it could have been one of the best games of all time....Version: 1.21

✓ Truly brilliantBeing an avid mobile gamer and Having completed the game I can honestly say this is the best iOS game I have ever played, by a big big Margin. Completely immersive and there’s so much depth to Morphite. I don’t normally write reviews but this is frankly outstanding. The mobile game iv always wanted, well done developers, completely worth the price tag. Only a couple of gripes but this is nit picking, controls are a little clunky when trying to navigate awkward areas like the floating plat form areas and sometimes during battles, also a option to skip dialogue or manually save would be handy. Spent a good while on the floating island planet as controls were a little clunky for jumping between platforms and kept falling and having to start from miles back but that’s minor details. Epic game guys. I can’t believe you’ve managed to get a game this good on iOS. 5*.Version: 1.08

✓ Good time killerI’ve been watching and waiting for Morphite to release on iOS ever since I heard of it a year ago. I love the low poly graphic style, the exploration, the wild animals you can encounter, the random encounters and side quests, but I wish the space combat was a little more involved than just sitting still while the enemy flies around you. Maybe this will be changed in a future update, who knows! The game itself feels like a mash of Metroid Prime, No Man’s Sky, and a little bit of Ratchet & Clank (all games that I’ve loved over the years) and it definitely has an interesting story. I was surprised to hear the voice acting and I love the banter between the female protagonist and the robot sidekick KitCat. The touch controls took a little getting used to since I’m on an iPhone SE but can switch to an MFi controller and play Morphite on my tv (w/ the HDMI cable). Thank you to Crecent Moon Games for releasing Morphite! It is well with the money and it’s a better time killer than the millions of junky games plaguing the AppStore nowadays!.Version: 1.08

✓ Possibly the best mobile game I’ve played but...Morphite is probably the best mobile game I’ve played, I recently just bought it and I’m already in love with it so hats off to the developers. I have one problem though, in the game description it says there is full controller support and for the most part that is true but there is a problem while using a controller in the ship, I’m able to move forward but I’m not able to look around, I hope this gets fixed in the future so I can continue to enjoy this game. Once this gets fixed I will happily change my 4 star to a 5 star review..Version: 1.5

✓ Morphite is everything I hoped it would be.There was a game I used to play on the NES way back in the day called Star Voyager. The goal of the game was to traverse a small solar system in a star ship with a goal to vanquishing an evil alien armada. Space exploration was limited and the player was relegated to landing their craft on various planets for upgrades and that was all. A germ of a great game was there and I feel that Morphite achieves the dream of an easy to pick up science fiction game that stokes the imagination and scratches the itch of those who want to do more in a space game then just blow things up. And you know what? Morphite even has things to explode too so all bases are covered. I love Morphite!.Version: 1.08

✓ Great gameAlthough I’ve only played this for a couple of hours I can say it is a complete breath of fresh air compared to all the freemium-IAP-packed-rubbish that populates the App Store. This is well worth the cost of the app and then some. Well done devs for another great app and keeping to the premium model. So far this game has made me laugh out loud, made me nervous to open doors to see what might attack from inside, and made me feel like an explorer. I’ve downloaded hundreds of games on my phone and iPad over the years but this feels like something special. Don’t hesitate - for the price of a fast food burger or a couple of posh coffees it’s SO worth it. Also as a side note I played this on iPhone 6s and it works great. The controls are really straightforward and compared to most of the FPS games I’ve played on my phone this one is actually easier to use than most. I have a steelseries stratus controller so will update this review when I’ve tried the game with that but I can expect it will make this great game even better..Version: 1.08

✓ Great GameI just found out about Morphite a couple of days ago but I was thrilled to try it and have enjoyed it a lot since I downloaded it as soon as it hit the App Store. My only issue is that on my iPad Air 2 the controls are really sensitive. Makes it hard to move around and target things. I have dialed the sensitivity levels almost to zero and they still feel a bit twitchy. It would be nice if there was a game pad that would work with the iPad to play this one. I will definitely keep playing and hope I get used to the controls. Other than that it is a great game..Version: 1.08

✓ Not badAs a very casual gamer I hat the whole freemium model, so this is already a huge step up from those money gougers. The graphics are really nice and stylized and the controls are pretty straight forward though they take some getting used to as it’s hard to both look around AND shoot at the same time so that part could be improved. Some of the select from inventory could also be improved. One negative for me is the narrative pieces are a bit long and there’s no way to replay them after they’re skipped, in my case I skipped one narrative piece and I no longer have clear instructions on what to do next and no way to go back and replay... so this could really be improved. ✓ Gorgeous sci-fi adventureMy first thoughts were that the gameplay resembles Metroid a little bit, you scan your environment, and you tap to lock on to enemies, just as you could in the Metroid Prime series. There’s a hint of Ratchet & Clank in here as well. This game adds a lot of it’s own creative twist though, so it’s not another “phone version of this famous game”. Even with touch controls this game handles like a Metroid Prime game and the soundtrack is phenomenal and really provides a great sense of immersion like the Metroid franchise has done. It would be great if you can actually control the ship like when you fly through a field of asteroids. Speaking of flying through the asteroids, the up and down on the joystick should be inverted to make it feel more comfortable when piloting. As a huge fan of Metroid Prime the style of FPS coupled with scanning and a wide variety of tech in this game is most welcome. The story is intriguing with some fun voice acting and an incredible amount of worlds to visit. There isn’t much I don’t like about this game. My only gripe is that I’ve been noticing some glitches, especially when exploring once I finished the story portion. Some map locations are blocked by indestructible walls, you can get “stuck” in the final form you can take, some mission data is cut off, and, perhaps most annoying, some trinket boxes can’t be opened. ✓ An excellent sci-fi adventureThis game could best be described as No Man’s Sky Lite. Similar to NMS you travel from planet to planet, system to system scanning resources. Unlike NMS however, there is a pretty good story in this game, which I finished in about 13-15 hours. There are plenty of side missions too - involving fetch quests, collecting resources and killing things. I picked this up on sale and it was worth every penny! I will say that the touch screen controls take some getting used to, but it won’t take you long. A wonderful premium game that you should absolutely pick up!.Version: 1.71

✓ Worth every pennyJust an absolutely brilliant game, it’s crazy to think that a fully fledged game like this is on a phone. But it shows it can be done and I wish there were more games like this on the store The story of the game is great, the characters are pretty likeable and the entire thing is voice acted, though none of the puzzles are particularly challenging, they’re not stupidly easy either. And you’ll want to keep playing to acquire more of the weapons and equipment. I like the simple art style, and how expansive the environments are, and the gameplay is essentially endless because of the procedural generation of the planets, flora and fauna. All of which we can be scanned, and the scans traded for money or blueprints for upgrades for you ship & suit. I am yet to find any temples on the planets that aren’t linked to the story, but I haven’t been to too many yet. Part of me wishes you could fly the ship around space but I can’t complain really, considering how much else’s has been fit into this game. The chance interactions in hyperspace are pretty cool as well, it kind of makes the universe feel alive. It’s a really cool game with a decent campaign, endless exploration and I can see myself playing this for a while to come. We need more of this. ✓ Wonderful game, that has a good soul.Been playing this for a while, and I have to say, it's a superb game, that has both soul and good game mechanics. The limits of the touch interface aside, they have given us enough control, without over burdening the user with options of what can and can't be done. One such instance is travel between planets, which although simplistic is just enough to feel like you are able to choose direction. I shall be investing in a MFI controller to remove the obvious problems of touch obscuring the action, but in the meantime, I'm going to explore more of it..Version: 1.08

✓ This is the Game I have always wanted!A mostly relaxed adventure and puzzle action RPG with hints of games like No Man’s Sky or Destiny. There is a wonderful expanse of exploration and upgrades. It is a big game with lots to see in beautiful tertiary pallets. Even with as big as it is the way it is broken down allows you to still be casual. Most worlds only take 30-40 min to explore. More importantly, it needs a better method of saving your game.....I don’t like that if I happen to die while exploring, I lose all my scans made after the checkpoint and have to scan them all over again. Very tedious and annoying. And should increase the number of mineral resources...everytime I have a chance to upgrade my suit, I never have enough of the required minerals. ✓ No mans sky in the pocketWow!. I didn’t think I would like the low polygon art style at first from the very intro on my jaw was on the floor. It gives it a bit of a retro 32bit feel and a bit of a noir-ish appeal to it. Sound is also very well suited to exploring and helps with the type of game it is. I am only a several hours in and explored a handful of planets but it’s nice and relaxing just exploring new planets and wildlife. As an explore-em-up it’s pretty amazing. It can be as casual or as hardcore as you want and that’s a great quality in any game. I can only imagine what stuff could come from this game with future updates. Thanks devs cracking game Back on those graphics... I have many good looking games on my tablet that mainly lean towards realism. ✓ Love it! Scratches that Metroid Prime itchSo far this is the best iOS Game I’ve ever had anyway. It also helps that it reminds me a lot of Metroid Prime which I am a huge fan of! The music is top notch, the writing is very clever and interesting. I like the graphics a lot. It takes me back to my Atari Jaguar Cybermorph days. Bravo! I hope there is more to come for this franchise in the future. I was hoping to get this on the Switch but couldn’t hold out any longer. It’s a great game. ✓ Definitely one of the better games I’ve played on phone.I enjoyed this game so much that I rebought it on PS4. Love both versions. This one for the portability and the PS4 version for the controls. The game has a lot of charm and the stylized graphics work well, particularly the use of color. I’ve seen it compared to NMS. As a fan of that game, I have to say that Morphite does some cool things that NMS does not, such as aliens walking around planets and on the space stations. They hand out quests and talk to you. There is also a full on narrative, completely voiced. Very charming game that I hope holds future iterations. Also hope it comes to Vita with cross save..Version: 1.08

✓ IS ANYONE ELSE STUCK ON OCTONIAI absolutely love this game. It saves your progress well enough that I overlook the many times it crashes. I am stuck on OCTONIA, the underwater world. The one of the gears to raise the water level is already spinning when I get to it, but not activated to raise the water level. When I shoot it with the charged laser, it just stops and is unresponsive. I have tried reloading from checkpoint, I've even tried starting the world over, but I do not want restart the whole game. I can see from the other comments that the developers are very active in answering other people, I am going to read if anyone else is having this problem. Fix it and I'll give you that 5th star.
