✓ Freezes and shuts down skips songsFreezes too much songs change without your permission? I wish they didn't start charging for the other equalizer those was perfect this one keeps shutting down while I'm driving no music!!!.Version: 5.1.61
✓ Just noise!I wanted to tweak some aiff music files but all I got was loud white noise. It works. Well on MP3 and Apple lossless. But not on AIFF.Version: 5.1.61
✓ IPhone app that doesn’t initially support .MOVYou have to pay for the additional file extension support pack to use .MOV files… the file type all iPhones shoot in… in an iPhone app..Version: 5.1.61

✓ Cannot Play Subscribed Apple MusicI hope I am wrong on this and would gladly revise my review if proven otherwise but if not then I would say this is a useless APP for those who are subscribing to Apple Music. The app is able to locate my personally saved music files but in these days of music subscriptions most of my music is subscribed and so this app is no good if it cannot play my subscribed music. Please prove me wrong, otherwise in my opinion this app actually deserves a ZERO star.Version: 5.1.61
✓ Maybe it needs more time yet?Downloaded the EQ, the version you will get will have annoying ads, and you’ll be prompted to purchase the full version, which I would do in a HEARTBEAT, as I LOVE the EQ, which works nicely! BUT... 1: switching between airplay devices cannot be done from within the app. There’s a button for it, but doesn’t seem to work. Have to use “the old way”, with the phones controls, like we used to. 2: This is where I say “maybe needs more time yet?” Only had the app 15-20 minutes so far, and ALOT of albums are missing artwork and titles. Even songs I just bought from iTunes a couple days ago are being displayed with no artwork, and “Unknown artist” and “Unknown album” which is a MAJOR pet peeve of mine. Some artists, when I tap on them, don’t even seem to appear at all. Again, don’t know if, or how much time the app needs to “import” my library, bit I’d think it should be quicker than this. But I will say again, I LOVE THE EQ FUNCTION!!!!!! I’ll give it a little while longer to see of it loads the rest of that stuff, if not, “delete”. 😥 Also love the swipe for volume, and time index functions. Much more accurate and adjustable than the “stock” controls. Well, it’s been sevearl hours now, and still no Alan Parsons Project, and many others. Oh well. Hey, DON’T let my review keep you from at least trying this app! Could be my phone, whatever, who knows, as if it all worked right, I’d be singing this apps praises to the highest!!!.Version: 5.1.61
✓ No support for audio ac3 on moviesThis piece of xxxx prompts you to buy additional formats and when you buy them it still doesn’t work. Stay far away from this app. It may even be hacking your device. A $5.00 waste! How much do they make ripping people off. Nowhere does it say this codec isn’t supported. ✓ Distorted sound even lowering device volumeOne star. After a while the levels sounded distorted even after lowering my iPhone 6S volume. The 10-band EQ gave me options to get my 8” two-ways to sound big without the presence of those boomy mid-low frequentencies. However the distortion is a deal breaker for me, so I uninstalled..Version: 5.1.61
✓ Great sound but crashes...I like it because: - It restored volume levels to my iPad after I updated to iPadOS. - It also allows control over each EQ band which makes a huge difference to sound quality - much better than Apples limited preset EQ settings.. - Unlike some other EQ apps it easily accesses your locally stored music. - no silly “subscriptions” (as if I’d ever pay a subscription for an EQ app anyway) - playback controls and volume are easy - just “swipe” - works with the playback controls in the iPad Control Center HOWEVER!! When I play anything from the “Songs” section it immediately crashes! (playing from the “Albums” and “Artists” sections works OK.) Other things I don’t like are that it does not have a “recently played” list and the interface is a little “kludgy” and dated looking. Hopefully the crashing will get fixed, but the last update was “2 years ago” so I’m not that optimistic.. Fix that and I’d probably buy the “pro” version....Version: 5.1.61
✓ No AIFF?Equalizer works exactly as I hoped it would but it does not seem to recognize AIFF tracks as listed in their description. All I get is the white noise that others have mentioned. iPhone 11, iOS 13.1.2. Fix this and earn two more stars..Version: 5.1.61

✓ 3/5; “Average”So I downloaded this app, because I got Apple AirPods about a month before I wrote this review, and expected something that could fulfill my Audiophile needs, sense AirPods sound average, as well. However, this was a mediocre EQ app; the EQ on iTunes is much better and crisper than anything I’ve tried on this app. I spent a little over 40 minutes trying out this app, and could not find anything that sounded better than anything I could easily do on the iTunes app. It is definitely a great app, for it being free and if you don’t have iTunes, but if you do have iTunes, I don’t really see the point in downloading and using this app. It’s still pretty well made and has a lot of options you can choose from, but the lack of quality in the features, that is in store, for this app, is just pretty lackluster. I probably wouldn’t try this app again. However, I don’t hate this app at all — instead, I just didn’t really think it was in the same ballpark as other EQ’s I’ve tried in the past..Version: 5.1.61
✓ Wasted my moneyI downloaded the free version. The app would not allow me to do anything until I purchased the app. So I decided to pay for the app and proceeded to purchase. It still did nothing. Then it asked me if I wanted to upgrade to the Pro Version...what a joke!.Version: 5.1.61
✓ AwfulThis is the worst music app I've come across. Doesn't automatically start playing the next track, can't jump to different letters in library - you have to scroll every song you have one by one. Invasive full screen timed ads every 2 or 3 songs (some with audio that plays over your song), doesn't display most album art, search doesn't work, the list goes on. Garbage..Version: 5.1.53
✓ Nice try but...This little equalizer is easy to use and the interface is adequately pleasant. It’s output is hot compared to iTunes. Not a baseline but to give the reader an idea when using iPhone as input device for stereo console normally I need a level of 25 for moderate listening. With this equalize it’s 17 for sale audio sound level. That’s ok but I clear hear distortion in the equalizer as even low levels. The app is free so who can blame the performance, yet what does free mean when on can barely use the app due to its noise. If they had a clean app I would consider paying for the app..Version: 5.1.61
