✓ Flow free hexesThis game is okay l guess.Version: 1.6
✓ Could have been a good game... Really irritating bugThe game itself is not bad, the puzzles are fairly challenging if not a bit contrived sometimes (eg. Seeing a similar path/pattern over lots of puzzles). There is one major bug which is irritating as F: sometimes 'advert broker' this app forces you to hear random audio from a closed advert. That's pretty poor forcing me to close the app and reopen it to stop it only to get it back again soon after. Srsly? Updated: NOPE. Deleted with extreme prejudice and now will be avoiding everything this publisher/developer makes..Version: 1.1

✓ Great game but too many adsThe gameplay is fun, similar to the other games by the developer. However, recent updates either to the game or to the underlying advert engine cause ads to be shown on almost every second level. Some adverts I find to be extremely inappropriate, either through the content or through the sheer duration of the ad itself..Version: 2.9
✓ Ads are getting out of controlHonestly I love the entire catalog of Flow games. I even bought the ad free version of Flow Free and 100% completed it. The problem is Flow Free: Hexes. I would have given the game 5 stars, but recently the ads on this game have gotten out of control. I won’t even click on anything and all of a sudden the game will open an ad on my browser that is obviously a phishing site and/or malware. I get that ads generate revenue, but at least know what ads you’re running on your platform and whether or not they can be harmful to the user/their device..Version: 3.1
✓ The ads make the game impossible to play.I have been playing Free Flow for over a year and love it. I wanted to give this game five stars, but the last few days I have not been able to play the game because I keep getting ads that I cannot X out of. ✓ Too many VIDEO adsI love the game, but every ad is a video. I don’t mind ads so I can play free, but when you play 2 screens and then have to watch a 30 second video, I’m out. If it were a simple ad you could click right out of it wouldn’t phase me, but it is super annoying to have to sit and wait that long after spending less time playing than you are watching the stupid ads..Version: 1.8

✓ Second time throughI have just finished this version of flow for a second time (granted, they added newer packs, so there was some change), and once again, I feel like it is too easy. There are very obvious patterns that become apparent after fifteen or so levels. For instance, I could easily go through 30 levels and 15-20 of them could have the same basic layout. They have “Expert Packs (2 of them now)”, yet these are still fairly easy, just with a different set of patterns to learn. I like the game and see its attraction, but it quickly becomes too easy. It is a good time killer. TLDR: fun game until you figure out the easily discoverable patterns. Good time killer..Version: 1.6

✓ Game locks up incessantlyI’ve played this game for years, and have maintained perfect scores on all 3,750 puzzles in packs, and until recently, it has been totally enjoyable and irritation-free. But lately, the game (both Hexes and Regular) have taken to locking up mid-line for from a few seconds to a minute or more. Now it locks up multiple times on every line. It is getting more aggravating every day, and I’m just about to the point of quitting altogether. The problem may have to do with the now-incessant ads that break in after every puzzle (and are of ZERO interest to me), but I’m not about to break down and “go Pro” to make the puzzles playable. In its current state — on my phone and tablet — it is unplayable..Version: 2.9
✓ Ads - noisy even when my phone on silent!Game is good but only giving 1 star due to problem with the ads. I switch the sound OFF on the app but then the ads pop up randomly, and frequently too, with full sound! Sort it out as this is not right. Will be deleting because of this if is not sorted out. Feel that the developer never listens and only seen one response from them to a review. That was when the customer was happy. This does not inspire a lot of confidence. ✓ Amazing game but I’m still getting adsThis game is absolutely phenomenal, doesn’t take much storage, and very unique puzzles (with a ton of choices). ✓ FrustratingI played all of the levels for the original game, and decided to purchase the content right away for this game. Little did I know, if you pay them for the game, you no longer can get hints. So if you pay for the game, you must then pay for the hints. Had I known this, I would have sucked up the ads, gotten as many hints as I could, and then when I played every free level, possibly paid for the expanded version. Way to be greedy. Game is still fun, but with only 3 hints, I fear I’ll get stuck and then quit..Version: 1.8

✓ Pop up ads not goodThe game has some major flaws. The design makes it not very challenging with many easy levels. Biggest issue for me though is the pop up ads that play on speaker even with silent mode on. This needs to be fixed or the ad provider cancelled. Won't result in me paying for the ads to be removed, more likely this app will just be deleted..Version: 1.2

✓ Horrible AdsI love this game but all of the ads are about weight loss. The fact that this game is marketed to kids and then have ads like that is horrible. The developer just states "well just buy the thing to remove ads✨✨". So you're going to tell children that their bodies aren't good enough, and then say that they have to pay to get rid of horrible ads?? If they were the usual ads about mobile games thatd be perfect. The fact that they are willing to permanently hurt and scar children or recovering adults is absolutely ridiculous..Version: 2.3

✓ I love this gameI absolutely love this game however there is one major issue. After every level you are given a different list of options, usually there is a next level option in a certain location however sometimes it’s something different, in this case there was a “buy all packs” option that provides absolutely no confirmation. I didn’t realize it at the time so when I went to go to the home button, because I wanted to do something else. It immediately bought all the packs. Yes this game is fantastic but the additional packs are not worth the money. It is incredibly easy to accidentally pay for something, this seems intentional. This shouldn’t be allowed and I can’t believe that having absolutely no confirmation is a thing that’s allowed to exist..Version: 3.0
✓ Good but IssuesI loved the original flow free and downloaded this to continue playing. The issue I have with this is the placement of the arrows and the hints. The original flow free was so good with placement but the placement on this game is very frustrating. The hints are in the center whereas in OG flow free they’re on the right where the refresh button is. There’s also no forward or back button for levels which is annoying. I’ve used up hints because I’ve gone to move my phone from the bottom or my hand slipped and multiple hints were used. Please change the layout of the bottom to that of the OG flow free. If it isn’t broken don’t fix it!.Version: 3.1

✓ The puzzles aren't the challengeIt's the stupid user interface! It is ridiculously easy to destroy a previously laid flow, either by accidentally touching it, or moving into it when drawing a new flow - especially with the boards with smaller cells. I completed all the puzzles perfectly in about 20 hours - but I swear about a quarter of that was re-re-re-redoing a level because the user interface decided to send the flow in a different direction at the last second. The designers need to add an option: call it "Perfect mode". When enabled, it is impossible to modify a laid-down flow without starting again. No edits; no pushing existing flows aside..Version: 1.0

✓ Frozen AdsI like this game, but not as much as other Flow Free games, and I have a sunk cost of hundreds of hours playing this game, so I have no plans to pony up $5 to remove ads now. Ads are fine, but lately they freeze on me multiple times each day and I have to restart my phone. ✓ Having problems with advertiserFor the past 2 weeks when getting a free play the app goes to show a particular advertisement it goes into a black hole and the only way to get rid of it is to turn the phone off and on. ✓ A simple game, but entertainingThis game is quite easy compared to the Flow and Bridges ones. Once live figured out the simple technique, it's quite quick to get through several levels in a couple of minutes. The daily games are good and give me something to think about before I have to socialise with the world. Just recently though, random adverts pop up in the middle of a game, playing a video, with sound, even though my phone is on silent. This is NOT cool. Stop this happening. I'm prepared to uninstall the entire game if this happens, as I can't play it if it's going to do that. Change it now. ✓ Unscrupulous DevelpoerRated 1 star after encountering click bate type untruthful news stories that now appear in place of the ads between levels. I accept adds on this type of app but there's no justification for fabricated news stories spreading Malicious lies. Shame on the developer allowing this content on the app all in the name of making a few pennies. Re developer response Saying you can’t replicate this in the US doesn’t absolve you of responsibility, nor does it change the rating I gave. There are others on the UK AppStore across all freeflow games saying they are experiencing similar inappropriate even rude adverts. I’m not an expert but even I know how to use a VPN to make an app act like it’s in a different country. With your technical knowledge you could easily look into this properly if you wanted to. It’s appalling that you haven’t bothered to do so..Version: 1.6
