There is one commonality when it comes to spinning the Daily Bonus Wheel- I have NEVER landed on Jackpot! I find it a little to convenient that even though I have landed on every other bonus spot many, many times each- that is the one spot on which I have never landed. ✓ Freeze problem with new pop up adI love this game! Been playing daily for months and haven’t had a single problem until today. A pop up ad for the Word Nut game freezes on the screen with no way to exit back to Pacific Bay. I even tried hitting “Continue” and allowing it to open the App Store but even then when I returned to the game screen, the pop up still wouldn’t unlock the screen. The only solution is to close and reopen P.Bay game. It’s become a problem as the pop up appears too often..Version: 1.24

✓ Fun but ...Game is really fun what would make the game more enjoyable is if they took away the additional investigation part it takes almost all of your energy just to complete one star !!! And the Lab results take too long your waiting hours before you can move on in the game . You should be able to get a pet not complete every scene to buy a pet . You should be able to save your energy it’s not fair when you have a full bar of energy and you level up and you don’t get to use that extra energy and you should be able to carry over stars to the next investigation except you half to go back and use them for energy or coins . If they would fix that in the game I would give them five stars ⭐️ thought about quitting the game because of the additional investigation part & not being able to store energy that you don’t use when you level up !! ✓ Crash problemI play all 3 versions and really like them. The main issue I have with this particular one is after watching the videos for free energy the screen goes black. Now up until today I would just close it and open it again and it was fine. Today however it will not open again. Just a black screen. Very disappointing after all the time I have put into it so far. ✓ Criminal Case: Pacific BayThis game is an interesting diversion, as are all of the criminal case series. The scenes are clever and challenging, but not overly so. One thing stopping me from giving 5 stars is the clunky, stilted dialogue (sic) used to give plot details. It might flow better if the players’ own avatar did some of the talking instead of having a character supposedly parrot everything your character says. Nobody holds conversations like that. That being said, there’s plenty of fun to be had with this one. It’s worth downloading.Version: 1.26

✓ Great, GRIPPING, game, but just one point to makeRight, so in this game when you level up, your energy bar gets filled up. put yourself in this situation. you’re around 100 XP from levelling up and gaining a refilled energy bar as a result. enough to wake up in the morning, use all your energy and then boom, 100 XP gained, have a refilled energy bar. then you turn on the game in the morning , ready to carry out the plan. you have a filled 110 energy bar but then a big massive wheel comes up. but what if it lands on the 100 XP, and i get a refilled energy bar, when i already have a filled energy bar. how do i get out of this. oh wait i can’t. i have to spin the wheel. and just my luck, 100 XP and i don’t get the benefit of the refilled energy bar. annoyed. add a skip button to the spin the wheel please. thanks.Version: 1.23

I do once in a while when they have a bargain for more play time. I play on an iPad, and no trouble at all. Seems to get a little harder as you advance. ✓ Room for improvementI’ve been playing these games for years now. I wish there could be something done about the energy system. When you load up the game it automatically forces you to spin the daily bonus wheel, and if your energy bar is full at 110, and by some grim chance you happen to get experience points, which levels you up, then that extra 110 energy points will NOT be added to your already full bar. Seriously, this has to be taken into consideration. I don’t have many other gripes with these games (except, of course, the adds.. but revenue, amirite)..Version: 1.35

I haven’t gotten very far, but the only problem I have is that it takes a very long time to get all of the stars you need and I am looking for the same things over and over again. And then I run out of energy quickly and it takes a while to do everything so I want to play it a lot, but then I realize that I can’t because I don’t have enough energy or I have to collect stars. You get to play detective by searching diligently for evidence & interviewing both witnesses & possible suspects. It never feels fake or dumb. You have to work at figuring out who the bad guys are. ✓ Really enjoy this game!I started playing the same game - and started with the Grimsborough version/App - to look for hidden objects, but then got hooked on the story lines. Sometimes goofy but always interesting and enjoyable. I wish 2 things: that when the characters are talking, there was a "back" feature just like there's a "skip". Sometimes my iPad hiccups and when I tap on next, to read the next line, it skips twice. Secondly, at the end of each story, we are given clothes or accessories to purchase with our coins. I wish you would give us more police related clothing/accessories and not so many costumes. If I am a police officer, in reality police officers don't wear costumes when they are doing an investigation. But overall great game. Many thanks for all of your creativity!.Version: 1.24

✓ Needs updateLatest update 1.20.1 didn't seem to work properly. Updated my app earlier today from 1.18. Now the game won't play. Keeps kicking me out. Looking at my app list it shows this game as still 1.18 but the update screen it shows as updated to 1.20.1. All three of these games have the same problems now. Way too many ads. Crashing multiple times a day, usually just after taking your energy to play a crime scene. Please fix. I've noticed the game plays seamlessly until the first ad plays. Then the screen is jerky and slow until it takes your next lot of energy for a game, then it kicks you out. Just updating my review. Everything seems to be running fine since the last update. ✓ I love the game but it has some aggravating things.I love this game it’s very addictive it has very well put together and thought out cases, but the waiting time between the autopsies, and everything is too long for some you have to wait a whole day or pay money to go to the next part of the case. The wait time should realistically start off at 30 minutes then escalate to 3 to 5 hours. Eight hours, 24 hours are just too long and people will start losing interest in the game. Firstly, I bought the “special delivery pizza” subscription and it claims that it’s an ad-free experience, though this is not the case. I am also reasoned to believe that the “170 energy permanently” is a bit of a mislead. When reading that I thought “oh nice, i don’t have to lose energy ever again, it will stay at 170 forever”, though this REALLY meant that your energy capacity would expand to 170 forever, and you would still run out of energy - I feel quite ripped off but if you could change it to “capacity” in the description that would be awesome! I’ve googled just about everything that this subscription entails but i’ve found legit nothing. A bit disappointed but it’s only $4.50 🙂.Version: 1.38.2
