✓ Needs fixingI’ve been playing criminal case for a long time now and of late I’ve noticed when I spin the wheel I don’t always receive the prize and when I have packs of cards when they turn over I might get 4or5, but when I go into look there is only 2 or 3, but I hate when I only get 1 and go into look and there’s nothing..Version: 1.34
✓ Can't download case after update.Everything was running smoothly and after recent update I am unable to download case 22. It just says "Download failed". ✓ Graphics went way downhillWhen I first got this game a while ago, the character art was super nice, detailed, and it matched the rest of the game. The scenes are still just as detailed and nice, but the characters all of a sudden became downgraded to flat digital drawings that look like they’re out of a coloring book. The characters look so out of place in the scenes now that it’s really weird. As for the gameplay, it’s kind of annoying. You use up energy to get stars to complete tasks, but it takes forever to get more than one star on a scene. It just becomes very tedious and grindy, even on the second case. It’s ridiculous. The first one is with kid gloves, the second case immediately makes it annoyingly impossible to get anything done without waiting several hours for your energy to recharge. I only gave it two stars because it used to be a beautiful game, but now it’s just sacrificed too much of the graphics for it to be enjoyable for me anymore..Version: 1.36

✓ Can’t log in through Facebook! Please help!I’ve played this game since it first came out and I love it! How ever recently I found out that the game logged me out and I can’t log back in through Facebook and the only other way is through apple and it it made me restart! How can I fix this? I’ve tried everything from deleting it and then reinstalling it on my phone, logging out of Facebook and logging back in again and even shutting down my phone. I’m frustrated with it. ✓ New Stickers Not Appearing in AlbumI started playing Pacific Bay awhile ago and loved the original. I like this one too but I’ve encountered problems with earning the stickers for my album. After I earn a packet by earning stars, I open a packet it shows both the new and ones I received before. However, when I open the album, some of the stickers are not appearing! This is a problem that needs to be fixed. I tried contacting support but all I got was an automated response saying check the FAQ page, which I did BEFORE emailing. Then it says at the bottom of the response that there will be no further messages from the company. You’re customer support needs to be better than that. Not all problems such as the stickers one can be solved by the FAQ. If this doesn’t get solved, I won’t play this game anymore..Version: 1.24

✓ Character and inventoryI believe you should be able to carry your character and inventory with you through the other three parts of game. After all you worked through the scenes to earn all of it so it should go with you to the other parts of game. I started out on original game and play all four....sad that I cannot use my character for them. I think when moving on to Pacific Bay etc; you should be given the option of building on your already created character or making a completely different one . Would be much fun to add the different things from other parts of criminal case together. That way you are building upon one character if you choose. ✓ Put it back on Facebook!They removed the game from Facebook with no warning and no explanation to why or when it will be back. It’s been almost two weeks and there has been zero communication from Pretty Simple if the game will even come back at all. There weren’t bugs that needed to be fixed or anything wrong with the game; it’s just gone. I tried downloading the app and linking it to my Facebook because I was almost done with the game and didn’t want to start all over, but it didn’t work. I was on chapter 49 of 56 or thereabouts, so I lost all my progress in the game. So I guess don’t waste your time playing when you’re just going to lose your progress when they decide to remove the game for no reason. You storylines are lacking no interaction. Storyline are now predictable, the first Criminal Case had interaction your character even had lines in the cases with other officers, superiors and suspects. The dialogue is lackluster at best. ✓ Don’t get subscriptionI had the subscription, I thought it would give me some cool perks, but not really. It said automatically refill energy, it did that once and never again. So I quit it thinking that the pizza would stay with me and I could keep the 170 energy cap, but after I quit the app earlier it went away. So I don’t think Pretty Simple knows what “permanent” means. The cases are still fun though I guess, but the only reason I haven’t deleted the game yet is because I want to prove to myself that I have the patience to beat the game without spending too much on the game’s insane amount of microtransactions..Version: 1.32.4
✓ Great game, but a few major flawsI’ve loved Criminal Case for years, and after awhile I decided to pick it up again only to be disappointed by the buggy app. Whenever an ad plays it disrupts my in game music and then suddenly the game audio completely turns off? Not to mention the amount of ads is extremely excessive, at this point I would pay to get rid of them. As for flaws within the game itself, having to wait 10 or 12 hours for evidence is a major problem. I love this game and I want to finish cases quickly, but this long wait time makes me less inclined too. Long waiting times just make people more impatient and more likely to forget about the game in general, so bad move on that part. I think the max amount of hours should be 8, though that’s still pushing it, but at least you’ll be able to finish within a day..Version: 1.38.2

✓ ThievesI have all four of the criminal case apps. Since the latest update in May the developers have added a spinning wheel when you open the app for the first time each day. This then automatically gives you your daily bonus. Thing is, because you have full energy it doesn’t actually add your bonus to your energy so the developers are now stealing the daily bonus from you. THIEVES - I earned that bonus and you just rake it away. I should be allowed to collect the daily bonus when I want to, not when I open the app. It’s my game to play so stop forcing things on my game which I can’t control..Version: 1.22.2

But as soon as they finish the Grimmsborough part, you hijack them to another app! ✓ Disappointed and annoyed!!!First issue, I thought I liked the game at first, you would offer free gifts if I watch an advertising video. It worked and I was excited. Before I finished the first case it stopped working. I would watch your video and now it goes to a second page after it is done only to make me sit for over 5 minutes and you never pop up claim your gift. It just sits there on a picture and never moves. I have to close the app minimum 2 times and I never get the gifts. It is false advertisements. Now you expect me to pay for everything. To play this app you have to have deep pockets. I would not recommend this game to anyone!!!!! Second issue, in the first case you have a gay couple but for me to have an African American advitar I have to wait (only ones available when you first start are white people) until I unlock it and then I have to pay. Some of the names of the objects lose something in what I assume is a translation, and the ever-popular "energy" system is always frustrating. The most recent update of the base program (as it affects all of the Criminal Case games) has brought frustration and disappointment. The "daily reward" feature was frustrating when it would make you respond within a few hours of the last time you used it or it would reset. Now it's hardly even useful. I'm sorry, but burgers and meals are no replacement for guaranteed extra energy. The more frustrating thing, though, is the timing of the ads. They will pop up at any moment, it seems, from the time you return to one of the main screens. Yes, I'm sure it's a timer, but it will interrupt an action without warning. Even worse, if the game or device is muted, the ads are not, which isn't pleasant when your spouse is sleeping. The ads tend to be for the same games (I'm looking at you, Toon Blast!), making me LESS likely to want to play those advertised games. The most recent update made things worse, with ads that freeze the screen. As others have stated, the publisher doesn't really want you to contact them, as all you get in response is an email that makes you feel like an idiot because you didn't read what was on the support site, and that you wouldn't get any further reply. Well, maybe they shouldn't get any further support!.Version: 1.23

✓ Updated game crashes!I have been playing this game happily until the latest update. Now it continually crashes after entering a crime scene. I went to the support page and checked all the FAQs and it said if you've tried everything and it continues then contact support. So I did. And have received an automated response saying any answers will be in the FAQs. Um..no. Because I just tried that and attempted all possible fixes! Not impressed!.Version: 1.20.1
✓ It’s okay I guessI like the concept and I love the crimes and the options but the energy thing is really annoying. If you didn’t have to earn the energy to complete tasks I would’ve kept the game. Don’t really recommend it if you don’t have a whole lot of patience..Version: 1.27.2

✓ I used to like the Criminal Case brand.You used to get daily bonuses of food. You used to be able to play the entire game through the ORIGINAL CRIMINAL CASE game with all your points, and animals, and cash intact; now it doesn’t carry over to all the other broken up iterations of the game. You have to start each new section, like this, from the bottom and work your way all the way to the top, earn all your pets, and points and cash on these games all over again. I AM NEVER PAYING ANY OF MY OWN MONEY FOR THESE GAMES AGAIN!! Ads, ads, ads - the latest development. You cannot get through one scene without having an ad. TALK ABOUT BREAKING YOUR MOMENTUM!! I understand ads if you want extras of daily bonus deals or extra cash, but JUST TO PLAY A SCENE ALL THE WAY THROUGH, without AT LEAST 5-10 seconds of ads in between each turn. This is ridiculous. And there is NO WAY TO GET IT TO STOP. I’ve been playing this game for recently as part of my previous enjoyment of the Criminal Case games, BUT I AM ALMOST AT MY BREAKING POINT. ✓ Can we restore? New phone and POOF!My phone was getting old, and I was having problems with it. I’d had it a long time so I decided to update to a new one. I had been playing all of the Criminal Case games. I tried a few others, but they don’t have the graphics and they’re just not as good! In Pacific Bay, I like the characters, but I can only stand so many drinking references (“Frank”). It’s redundant and annoying. The language can get beyond what I want to read. And when they go to the Bayou, it gets worse. The voodoo part really was the worst. I downloaded the 3 games on my new phone, but there wasn’t anything about it that seemed to identify me...I did not play on Facebook because I don’t use it (hate it) and so I didn’t know how it would go. I did have a name on there. Maybe a password? But it didn’t ask me anything. Just started OVER from the beginning!!! Ugh! Please let there be a way to restore the game! ✓ AdvertisementsI gave the game 3 stars because when I first started playing at the end of the case you could use the extra stars to get burgers and extra food to add to your total. Now they started this sticker album which to me is useless. When I first started they would put an occasional ad on there, but now it’s ads almost every other scene and then they put up a notice they can take them away for a price. That is a big joke, first they are paid to put the ads on, but then they want you to pay them to take them off! It’s all about the almighty dollar and not about the game. I would rather dump the game than pay someone to take off ads that don’t need to be used that often..Version: 1.36

✓ So disappointed!:(Honestly never write reviews but I really, really LOVED the original criminal case app! I just finished it. I just wish that I could transfer over my progress from that to pacific bay and I was so sad when I figured out I couldn’t. You should give an option to let new players play or to continue your progress because it’s unfair for both me and others who worked hard to just lose all of it. It really is a shame. I will not be playing this game unless you allow you to continue your progress if you previously played another one of the criminal cases because I REFUSE to start over!.Version: 1.22.2
✓ Performance DropUp until a few months back, this game could be played on and off line. But now, while playing offline, there are periodic(~3sec) freezes. These freezes affect game play and lead to a drop in player performance. Not to mention how annoying it is. During these freezes the clock does not stop running. I am attributing this error to the games inability to load ads, as the online gameplay has no such issue. I understand the need to 'make a buck', but sometimes you go too far..Version: 1.27.2
✓ Criminal case/Pacific bayVery disappointed had to move from criminal case at level 56 my friends are on level 200 plus, but I have been forced to play Pacific bay I have lost all my progress, purchases and friends, the energy bar at top of screen is unreadable and messed up. You should have an option to move to new game or continue game this is just wrong. Plus your support is poor I asked a question that was not on your FAQ "how can I continue to play with current progress and friends" and was directed by automatic message back to FAQ..Version: 1.18
✓ Ads during game playI don’t mind letting ads play. I know that is part of how you make money. However now you have them come up during game play and that is just ignorant. The only thing in this game is finding hidden objects so you can advance. The faster, the more points. ✓ Ruined by greedI’ve been enjoying this game a lot: the pay to play aspects were burdensome, but worth it for the gameplay. Since the last update though it’s gotten ridiculous, it now randomly throws adverts at you every couple of minutes. ✓ Weird Game issueI had this app previously and I had to unfortunately delete it for storage. But now I’m redownloading it and I’m having a few issues. I can make it past the tutorial, and then it asks me if I want to turn on notifications. It freezes when I tap “yes”. Hence making me relaunch the app. After that it stays on the green “Criminal Case” loading/opening screen and doesn’t let me play. My phone then shut off as if it were going to die, and then it would come back on. After just casually going on different apps, my phone would continue to shut off and turn back on every 30 secs to 2 minutes. I decided to delete the app and the issue has stopped. I really like this game and want to play it again. Is there any way to fix this?.Version: 1.26
