✓ DisappointedI am an avid player for years now of criminal cases. I was excited to see a new game that came out. I don’t mind the 10 stars but it’s difficult to reach a golden 1 per scene. I have tried so many times and can’t get past 3 or 4 on many games. The ads of 10 or more to even get into a game playing the wheel is out of control too. It used to be three ads on the wheel to get in. It takes me over an hour just to get into all the games because of the ads now. The kicker is that I paid $7.99 per freaking game for less ads and they are worse and more now. What a rip off!! ✓ New gameplay ruins everythingGenerally I like the Criminal Case series, even though the churning for stars to move forward can get a bit old, and the art often confuses what an object is. Travel in Time doesn't improve any of this, but the time limit to complete a level makes this unplayable without IAPs to get more coins just to stretch the time limit or get hints. Add that to the slow progression of the stories and I get a waste of storage. This game is in my past now..Version: 1.36
✓ DisappointedI was so excited to see a new game to play along with the other 5 I have. Unfortunately, it was very sad to see the new changes to the game. I tried to give it a try by playing one full case and I just didn’t like it at all. Hopefully, this is just a trial run to get opinions on the new style but I hope it does not stay and they either go back to the regular layout or come up with a different layout that is better. You got characters from Grimsborough (pretty sure I spelled that wrong), Pacific Bay, Save The World. It’s a shame it goes to waste like this. And then PC players get the old format! ✓ Why change what worksI have been a fan of all the Criminal Case games, to date. However, I am truly disappointed with this format. I hate the fact that you have to spend your coins in order to get hints, add extra time. I also hate having limited time and being told that I have failed in completing a scene. I also do not like having to have two stars to being able to check clues, talk to suspects. Please go back to the format set up like the other games in this series. ✓ Don’t botherI play 3 other Criminal Case games and enjoy them. Thought I would try this one but am very disappointed. First, the allotted time is way too short and the automatic hints are gone. In order to increase your time to a more reasonable amount you must “pay”. The same goes for other hints. Very frustrating and very annoying. I don’t mind the new format with 10 stars per scene and 2 stars to talk to a suspect or analyze a clue, but I absolutely hate the 45 second timer for every single crime scene. The time bonus is my least favorite in the other games and now every time I play this game, there’s a stupid time limit I have to beat... otherwise, I risk having to use coins to continue or fail the scene. The time limit completely takes away the fun, relaxing aspect of the game and makes it feel stressful. That’s the last thing I want when playing a game! ✓ Horrible formatThere is a saying if it ain’t broke don’t fix it. Separately it wouldn’t be much of an issue. Together it makes what was a good game a chore. Two stars for each clue, not a fan, the time limit is asinine and needs to be abolished. Not enough coins are earned for each successful solve and nothing is gained except one star. Then throw in the ads and it makes for something I will be deleting. Such a shame a classic series had to make such a fumble with a premise that could have been excellent. ✓ This version is 3-4 stars I thinkThis version is pretty good. It’s nice that you can pick to have a pictures of the items, 3 hints, or +45 seconds so then you would have a total of 90 secs. if you would get it. You do have to pay coins for them but I really only use one of them so it’s okay. There are 10 stars for each crime scene instead of 5 on the other versions probably because you get one 1 full star for going to the crime scene only once. You do need 2 stars to do things with evidence and talk to suspects but it doesn’t take that long to get only 2 stars. The thing I find most annoying is that you run out of energy quicker then the other versions. I do like the idea the creators had with the time travel though..Version: 1.33.1
✓ Hate it (changed so much)Honestly I hate it. They changed so much from all the other ones. You only have 45 seconds to find everything/spot the differences/rearrange the tiles and every star they add more things for you to do but don’t increase the time. There are 2 puzzle levels now and each star (out of 10) there are more pieces so 20+). Each scene is 10 stars and you get 1 star per completed attempt. The only way to advance along the leader board is to purchase power ups (they got rid of the free “preview item” option and now have to pay for it) you basically can get all the stars in one day then just have to wait for the results of evidence with nothing to do. For example, one day I had 40 stars and no more scenes to complete as not all had been opened so you just have wasted energy. There are less levels overall in the game so it’s much shorter (still 9 each chapter but les in the whole game). I’m just so disappointed bc I waited so long for this and it’s awful. I love the concept of traveling through time but I don’t know why the creators would think its a good idea to change so much..Version: 1.33.1

I have finished two completely and am well through the next three. So, I was so excited to see a new one. What a disappointment! I absolutely hate timed games! ✓ It doesn’t feel like a Criminal Case gameIt’s so much different from all the other Criminal Case games that it doesn’t even feel like it deserves the title of having a criminal case and even does that cause it doesn’t even say criminal case when you boot up the game. It feels like if someone took criminal case, and just redid it in their image, and said that this is the new way we do this. ✓ It’s cool but it takes a lot of saving energy and coinsI think the game is cool but when you do the areas to look for clues or even do puzzles it takes up a lot of coins like adding 45 seconds more, getting picture hints, and also for hints because on the other criminal case games you never had to use coins for finding things like taping the word and getting a picture of what you’re looking for and also adding extra time to the clock plus the clock moved forward in the other criminal case games and never ran out of time. I hope the next new game seasons it would be like the other ones are with not having to use up too much coins and being able to watch ads non stop to earn free energy and coins, but I really like the scenes to this game it’s exciting that you capture criminals within each history time..Version: 1.33.1

For some reason or another, the developers decided to completely revamp and redesign the game and the format: there being only 6 areas on the map to investigate, running out of energy faster so that you feel compelled to purchase powerups, the new star collection system, among countless other things both big and small about playing the game. After finishing the previous game, the thrilling and suspenseful “The Conspiracy”, I thought that I’d still give this game a try, despite all the negative reviews I’d read before downloading. It was a waste of my time and it will be a waste of yours if you’re foolish enough to try it. ✓ Great game, The new format is kind of badOk so I’m not gonna lie, I have been a long time fan of criminal case and still stuck in the season 1 ever since so I’m glad this came out in Pakistan because that’s where I live. But I deleted season 1 and installed the season 6 one, so it was worth a try basically it was the same thing except you can earn stars when you play a Crime sence. Everyone hates the new format including me and will tell you why everyone hates it: Ok so first off it’s nice to get a star each time you play but why does it have to be like 10stars instead of 5 stars, also it is pretty less time consuming getting 2 stars but those 2 stars are now 2 stars per task. Secondly, I have to speedrun every time I collect items in a Crime sence because there’s a 45 second timer. But the boosters could make it better. Otherwise I don’t really have issues but that is still not ok. I saw this came out and I was very excited to play the criminal case I love in collecting the 5 stars etc, but it was changed. I do not like it. I love the original way in collecting the stars, not every time I entered the crime scene I get a star. I like to feel like I earned the gold medal but it just became a, find this and done. I don’t feel like I did anything. Now the game and story are the same and I’m not saying not to download, but if you like the original way of how the game works, then I personally wouldn’t play this way..Version: 1.33.1

✓ Very Disappointed!!!I was beyond excited when Criminal Case Travel In Time became available because I love and have played all of the other Criminal Cases.....I’m actually playing them all again from the beginning now. WHY did you have to change so many things in this one?? Clearly the format of all the other versions worked so why change something if it isn’t broken! I hate the way you have to spend coins to get 3 hints but then can only use them on one scene! Once you use coins to buy boosters you should be able to use them on any scene rather than lose them if not used. It’s also EXTREMELY ANNOYING that you get asked every single time if you are sure you don’t want to get the boosters.....there is no way to get past that. ✓ Don’t like this gameCompared to the other criminal case files this game is slow, like moving through mud. I don’t know why they made it so difficult. I’ll probably delete it. I play the other games which I love and when I finish with them (they last a LONG time, fortunately) I’ll delete Travel in Time and just wait for a new criminal case game. You can no longer win any hints or combos through daily spins. You can buy 3 hints but no less, and they don’t carry over to your next scene investigation. The 45 second timer I could have lived with, but again, now extended time costs you. Everything costs you. So unfortunately Criminal case, it cost you my playing. It is great that the stars are filled more quickly and the analyzing is faster but the timer is what makes it frustrating & less desirable to play. ✓ Long time player but I’m done now.I’ve played and enjoyed the previous games, but I really don’t like the game play changes you’ve made for this game. I used to enjoy the Time Locked game, but now they all are it’s stressful. I’d rather have to play a couple of times to get a star than have to pay for extra time. Why did you increase the number of stars needed to check out a clue? You fixed something that wasn’t broken, so it must be a revenue thing. Pity. I really loved the details and research into the story, like the Silver Tree Fountain in the Mongol capital! ✓ Not a fan of the new formatI love criminal case and I have been playing all of the other games. This one, however, really irritates me. I like the characters and the concept is great, but I hate how hard it is to get 1st on the scenes. I hate that the only way I can attempt to get a high score is by paying 5,000 coins to do it. ✓ Completely different from the other Criminal Case gamesSo frustrating. I’m pretty proficient at playing all the other Criminal Case games. I love them all, except be warned: they END. And you’re stuck with a balance of energy and coins. You can’t restart the game and you can’t transfer your balances to other Criminal Case games. For me, that’s disturbing, because I frequently pay for energy. And I didn’t see the final episode coming! Twice! (Lesson learned) I digress. I’m disappointed in this version of Criminal Case. Although I usually identify all the objects in less than 45 seconds in their other games, this Travel in Time is far more difficult to find all of them, and you are limited to 45 seconds. Sure you can use coins for additional time, buy hints, and/or the “knife,” which shows a picture of the object. I’m going to run it out until I have no more coins or energy, but this game is last on my daily game routine. I’m glad to see you created a new Criminal Case, “Supernatural.” Am trying it today. So far it’s consistent with your other games, so that’s good. BTW what is the problem with tech support? Or rather, nonexistent support? I have contacted them about three times, and all I get is a boiler plate email sending me back to the FAQ page. Or Facebook, which is anathema to me. The changes made to this series have taken away the enjoyment for me, and I doubt that I’ll finish this series. If the remaining games have this same format, I won’t be playing. ✓ Deleted it!I played all the other Criminal Case games, so when I saw this one I downloaded it. The new format is awful!!!!!! 1) 45 seconds to complete each scene is not enough/if you run out of time you have to keep wasting coins to get hints(makes it frustrating & takes the fun out of it), 2) that pop up screen at the beginning of each scene asking if you want to use hints is annoying, 3) if you want to use hints you got to waste coins, 4) talking to suspects and doing tasks now cost two stars. ✓ My Favorite Game... Well It Used To BeFirst off Inhabe played Criminal Case for years. LITERALLY!! I played since the beginning. I have even gone back and won Rings! But this new one Travel In Time... I don’t see myself playing it as much. Why give us 10 stars a set. It took long enough to get the 5 STARS. It takes a good 2 weeks to get through a case. And with 56+ cases a game that’s a long time. I have spent money with Criminal Case, however, you DO NOT have to spend anything. This 10 stars thing is ridiculous. And with a time limit it’s gonna take a while to get through. As A Long Time Fan. Please change it back to 5 stars. I won’t play this one. I play Criminal Case for the simple fact it’s easy and it is very relaxing because you have a challenge but it doesn’t take you 352 tries to get a star like in candy crush and such. So please put it back the other way so I can relax with this one as well! Or at least make it to where we can watch a video to finish the scene/star. ✓ Criminal case has been my favorite game...How to ruin a wonderful game. Add a 45 second timer to everything. It is no longer a casual relaxing game. Now it is full of stress and disappointment. I waited to play a while to see if I would get better. It might be possible but not yet. The previous games had one puzzle with the timer and I always left it to the last. You might be able to do well and love it but I am also slowed down by macular degeneration so focusing takes a little longer. I am rarely able to accumulate enough points to buy the extra 45 seconds and all my energy is used up with one failure after another. Then I’m through. If the makers think this will make me spend real money, they are mistaken. So I guess I’m off to find another game..Version: 1.34

✓ Why fix what’s not brokenI really enjoy this series, especially Supernatural and Conspiracy. But they changed so many mechanics for this version and it’s just terrible. The star system is not good. Instead of using your cohorts for hints, you have to use gold every time. Every episode they’ve released since this one has gone back to the original format so I simply can’t understand why they haven’t taken this one down and fixed it. Definitely not worth the time. ✓ This Criminal Case is terribleI’ve played all the previous Criminal Case Games (I’m still actively playing Mysteries of the Past & The Conspiracy) & this one is terrible. Why change up something that works? I’ve only started playing it and you only have so much time to find all the items. I’ve had to replay the level many times and I have a hard time finding all the items in the allotted time. Yes, you can buy more time, but after your coins run out, you’ll have to buy mire coins with real money. The stars are weird too. You have to use 2 stats to do anything instead of just 1 like every other Criminal Case game. I hope that they don’t change all the games to this format because if they do, I’m done with all of the Criminal Case games..Version: 1.33.1
