AirMini™ by ResMed for Negative User Reviews

Mini res med machineSetting this up is a horrible experience. I do not have the mask they say I should use. Then after hrs trying to connect the humidifier with warm air like my humidifier on the regular air 10 . I was then told any mask would work with this machine. Why don’t they tell you this??? I am still missing a few parts that were said in the set up. Now I have to contact the company. Should be much easier to set up and work!!!.Version: 1.5.8

Brilliant machineThe App itself is easy to use, sadly when you’re having a rough night you can’t look at your stats to remind yourself WHY you’re doing this. Since the latest IOS update the Bluetooth connectivity fails at leSt 5 times a week. It’s an easy fix. Plug out the in - not so easy if you’re trying to let your partner sleep..Version: 1.5.0

Oils be betterI wish ResMed would allow data from the AirMini to be merged with data from MyAir. I have an AirMini that I travel with 40-50 nights a year and have an AirSense 10 that I use at home. I use one or the other every night, so my report should be able to show that I use my CPAP therapy 100%. However, when my doctor gets a report it only shows data from my home machine that shows i am only about 80% compliant. It seems like this could be an easy fix to allow data to flow from my AirMini through my iPhone to the MyAir cloud and be included with the data on my home machine. If I am using my CPAP therapy 100% of the time, I want my report to reflect that regardless of which machine I use..Version: 1.5.4

Unobtainable data and horrible Bluetooth connectivityI’ve had the Air Mini for nearly a year now and honestly wish I would’ve seen the app reviews before purchasing. The Air Mini is great and truly makes travel easier than having to lug the AirSense 10 around. However, the great app myAir that the AirSense 10 uses is completely separate from the Air Mini app and doesn’t allow any communication between the two, so reports will show gaps if you plan to show them to your doctor. Also, the Bluetooth connectivity from the app is beyond egregious as my phone can connect to the device but the app takes 5-10 minutes to connect to the device for no reason. Lastly, the report that you can access (after getting access to the “cloud” from customer service and 90 minutes of your time) is in an outdated format that can’t even be converted, so if you and your doctor do not have the capability to view the report it’s simply unreadable. Ultimately, this is an app that has no team servicing it and therefore will never see the updates that customers have requested so know that before going in..Version: 1.6.1

Needs to have a Timezone settingIt’s silly having a machine pitched at travellers that does not have a function that lets you change the Timezone. Without your data is useless. Instead you have to uninstall and reinstall - except this information is not anywhere to be found in user guides..Version: 1.3.0

Unable to connect with resmed airsense?I was told to download the app for my Resmed sleep device but can’t seem to connect up using this application? It’s not an airmini, its the air sense. How can I connect this to this platform? Thanks Jon.Version: 1.5.7

Poor connectI am so tired of trying to connect to this app. The amount of money you pay for this system it is so disappointing. It should be easy, everything else BT is by this ResMed machine. Pick up your act resmed, you make plenty of money so fix your app. Very poor form. I would not recommend buying this machine based on the app controls the whole thing..Version: 1.5.8

Very Poor Excuse for an appWhat this app should be is a carbon copy of “MyAir”. This app falls short in every category. A user should be able to generate their own report. The user should be able to go through their history with the same ease as their full sized machine. ResMed missed the mark with the app. It makes me sad I bought the machine as it seems both resmed at their retailers have no intention or interest in helping the consumer retrieve their data. There are many mobile jobs that require providing compliance data with regulatory agencies. For a machine purpose built for the task, ResMed leaves the customer hanging..Version: 1.6.1

Time of day incorrectThe app and data fails to account for time of day change of location, = rudimentary for a device designed solely for...... travel. Eg. If time zone changes - you might sleep 6 hours in a 24 hour period but the unit only thinks you slept 2 hrs due to time zone shift Did anyone actually ROADTEST their travel device?.Version: 1.3.0

Air miniWill not connect to blue tooth.Version: 1.6.1

Over a year since a new update…Even though the app page says “we are always trying to improve your experience with AirMini….Version: 1.6.1

Update pleasePlease update the app. It stopped working the day I updated to iOS 16.4.Version: 1.6.1

Too limitedApp is ok, but it should sync with Apple Health for sleep tracking, should be able to show a chart with nightly sleep patterns and much more. I hope Resmed listens to their clients and improves the app..Version: 1.3.0

Constantly need to reset power to access Bluetooth/appThe machine is a few years old but even from new I’ve had to disconnect and reconnect power if I wanted to access sleep data; Bluetooth never works. This is even with downloading all the updates..Version: 1.6.0

No way to retrieve historical dataCurrently there’s no way to export and share sleep data with my doctor or for any further analysis. This should be a must have feature..Version: 1.6.1

Another update that was not neededThe update does not appear to work, etc!.Version: 1.4.0

ResMed comics…Yesterday I had a regular checkup with the pulmonology group and because I switch back-and-forth between the AirMini and the AirSense 10, they literally print out the compliance reports from each device and then hold them up to the window, overlaid so the usage graphs can be interpreted as one single chart. Like it’s making graphs in the 1960s. Everyone just shakes their head, and even the physicians say that ResMed is impervious to user input..Version: 1.6.1

Loss of Bluetooth connectivitySince the latest iOS update you have to power cycle the AirMini every day to be able to connect with the app otherwise it just comes back saying the device is out of range..Version: 1.5.8

Useless front-end informationResMed treats its customers like babies with this app and does not let people export their data into a tool like OSCAR to view low-level statistics, while expecting us to send this to them to use instead (arguably the user needs this information more than ResMed does). We pay a lot of money to use these machines - treat us like adults..Version: 1.6.1

AirMiniThe app doesn’t allow me to download the data that is being uploaded. My AirMini also doesn’t seem to be recognized by MyAir. Where does the uploaded data go? Given that I use the AirMini for travel I should be able to get data for those days that I am not using my home based CPAP machine..Version: 1.5.2

Bluetooth issues?!I love the machine but I’ve had it less than a week and already I’ve had to re-pair it with my Bluetooth twice! You have to unplug it to do so. For what I paid for this machine I expect everything to work and Bluetooth should be the least of my problems. I love the Interface but please fix the connection issue..Version: 1.5.8

Bluetooth has failed completelyNoise from the breathing disk is loud.Version: 1.4.0

👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻‘Easily connect to your machine using Bluetooth Technology” hahahaha NOPE Who is the CEO of this farce? People been reporting this issue for years! is anyone listening? How hard can it be for a huge listed tech-med Company. Honestly someone needs to take responsibility. it’s an age old story of rise and fall. Someone will do this better shortly and you’ll wonder why your share price tanked..Version: 1.5.8

It’s My Data! Before you ‘blow’ over $1000 on a this travel cpap it’s worth noting that ResMed privides no option for the end user and owner of the device and data to actually download that data. To make matters worse, the app will only store 30 days of historical data! This is a complete deal breaker. Hard pass on the Airmini until this fundamental issue is fixed. They will happily take all your data and store it in the cloud for their own use but they won’t let you access it..Version: 1.6.1

No comprehensive reports?I saved for months to get the $1K out-of-pocket travel machine from the same company as my primary machine, only to find out it’s got a completely separate app and provides no comprehensive reports of all my hard fought compliance? Even my sleep specialist has to go out of their way to pull the data from a separate source and manually merge it together! What is this, 1990? I travel for work a lot. I’m frequently forced to choose between gate checking the modest equipment I need for my job or my CPAP, because both cannot fit in the tiny overheads. Now, I can be sure it will stay safely in the cabin, but I get to play chicken with my insurance coverage because I will appear noncompliant. You cannot win for losing. Do better, ResMed..Version: 1.6.1

Bluetooth connection to machine appallingOn my second night with my new AirMini I’m already frustrated with the Bluetooth connectivity. I just read the developer response to last feedback on this same issue. Pls don’t suggest contacting support - this is clearly a fundamental issue with the app / Bluetooth interface. I’ve never experienced such a slow and unreliable Bluetooth connection with any device. Needs a fix. FAST.Version: 1.5.10

Can’t pair with iphone 14 proThe app used to pair fine with iphone 13 pro but fails on the 14 pro. The device appears under Bluetooth settings on the phone and can connect to it, but it does not show up in the app when you try to connect while the blue light is flashing on the device. The pick an accessory pop up remains blank so you can’t pick the device to connect. I have tried power cycles on both, reinstalled the app, but to no avail. I tried to connect using my iPhone 13 pro and it connected right away through the app, but not on the iphone 14 pro..Version: 1.5.10

Please Link Data from AirMini to MyAirI’m new to AirMini - so far so good. I sleep in hotel three nights per week and until recently I had to check a bag because of size if Airsense. Now that I use both I would like to see the data from both on one interface. Whether it be a third App or within existing Apps. With clouds technology I don’t see how this can’t be torn. I’ll even house data on my personal cloud. Does my provider get one compliance report?.Version: 1.5.4

Machine great, app abusiveUsers -must- have access to the clinical screen. Your tricks to hide it from everyone are insulting and abusive to customers who just want to be able to adjust things while talking with their doctors, but after setup this is now impossible. The “Bluetooth” button/screen doesn’t even exist anymore. My doctor can’t get in on an iPhone now either and he thinks you treating me like an irresponsible child makes you a childish company he doesn’t want to recommend anymore. Users aren’t children. You are. Set the clinical screen public but locked, make people agree to “I know what I’m doing and it’s under doctor supervision” and your legal stuff is covered and you aren’t being myopic controlling idiots actively hurting your clients anymore. And add your information to Apple health. Your machine is miles better than anything, your app is made by far behind customer requirements now. I am severely angry. I am literally in ICU and I need to change my settings immediately and I have the app but can do nothing even though the capability is right there, just that you are controlling idiots who don’t care about customer health..Version: 1.5.8

Useless appToday, myAir app told me I need to update. Following the prompts, it didn’t update, but installed AirMini...the machine I DON’T own. And AirMini doesn’t support the AirSense 10, so I’m not sure why they made me download a completely useless app. It won’t let me in myAir unless I “update”..Version: 1.4.0

Virtually useless app demonstrates complete lack of understanding of customer needsLike many others, I need to provide annual compliance reports for my medical certification for my job. However, neither my health care provider nor I can access a full year’s data from the machine. It is ridiculous to expect a customer to keep daily use reports and then compile that data manually. Please correct this by providing an annual report my Doctor and I can access just like you’ve already proven you can do with the airsense 10. While you’re at it, please provide a way to combine data from both machines into one report..Version: 1.5.8

It’s ok but can be betterThe app is ok, informations are clear to read, I am disappointed that we are not able share data between the app and apple’s health app..Version: 1.6.1

Terrible Bluetooth connectionThe app won’t connect after a few hours and I had to power cycle every night to get it connecting again. You don’t expect such appalling product from a reputed company as Resmed but they failed this time. Product support was no help either.Version: 1.6.1

It does the bare minimum, needs workIt sends my data to my physician and that’s about all it’s good for. The feedback that you get is just adequate for mask seal and events per hour but I could get that from my ancient S8. It interferes with any Bluetooth audio devices, causing skips in the audio at random, usually at the same time each day (probably when reports are uploading). This app could do so much more for Resmed customers. It’s a shame..Version: 1.5.8

Not impressedHad to delete the app and reinstall because it wouldn’t automatically install the update from the App Store. Of course that means I lose all data..Version: 1.2.0

Compliance reportI need to travel with a Cpap and show compliance for work. I need to print out a 12 month report for my doctor every year for the next 2 decades. My ResMed 10 does this but not the air mini. My provider can only give me reports through AirView for 90 days. I wish this app functioned like the airsense 10 app functions. I can print out 12 months of data from my phone without 4 trips a year to my provider to get the AirView reports in 90 day increments..Version: 1.5.4

Can’t hold a connectionThis is one of the worst apps I have ever seen. First, it is impossible to pair. Sometimes I will try for 10-15 minutes and never get a Bluetooth signal. But that’s not what makes this a terrible app. The problem is that on the rare occasion that I can get it paired, it drops the pairing the very next day. Then I’ll spend a ton of time trying to get it paired again. Almost always fruitlessly. Terrible cpap machine and a worse app..Version: 1.6.1

Loses bluetooth connectionI’ve had my Air mini for a almost a year now. Even tho I’ve often update my air mini app it still keeps losing bluetooth connection daily. I always have to reconnect just to see my data. When I first bought the cpap machine all connected so smoothly at the clinic. After all the updates it just keeps losing connection. Pls fix..Version: 1.6.0

No access to historical dataThe inability to see and download historical data is a big limitation. Are there any plans to provide users with a way to see their own data?.Version: 1.5.4

Useful, but falls shortI use my AirMini device when traveling away from home. It’s small and portable and beats lugging around my larger ResMed AirSense 11 home device. For the most part, the AirMini app functions in a similar way as the AirView app for my Air Sense 11 device, which is a good thing. However, there are two aspects about the AirMini app that fall short. Firstly, the app indicates that nightly sleep data is uploaded to the cloud, but what cloud?? I’ve exchanged messages with my sleep doctor, the medical device company where I purchased the AirMini (as well as Sense 11) and neither know how to access the so-called uploaded data. I even reached out to ResMed directly and I didn’t get a useful response. Secondly, unlike the AirView app, there is not an option to generate a compliance report. Since my doctor and insurance company don’t see uploaded data from my AirMini, it would be nice to be able send them a detailed report. Sending them pics of each nights results displayed on a colorful wheel displayed on the app just doesn’t cut it..Version: 1.5.8

Bluetooth will not connect.Multiple attempts to connect failed. Very annoying and I can’t adjust my settings..Version: 1.6.1

AnnoyingI have to delete the app weekly to get past the “Update needed” endless loop. A lot of work for am app that doesn’t do much..Version: 1.2.2

No compliance No resultsTeamed will never fix the airmini Bluetooth connectivity issue because the insurance industry does not require them to. The mini is considered a luxury item so you are typically on your own for the purchase and come what may. Historically, I've gotten better results on the mini than the S10 or S11 and resmed says their algorithms are identical. Don't believe them. A pulse ox test indicate better results on every metric. Personally, if enough users complained to their state authorities for false adverting Mayr the connectivity issue would get resolved. It's just Bluetooth after all. Meanwhile the mini works great but you have to find other avenues to see to measure the benefits Resmed is the worst service quality company I have come across in any industry..Version: 1.6.0

Connectivity issues with device. This device has has connectivity issues from within the first 3 months. Service to rectify this issue was initially good but no solution was found. So now I have a nice compact cpap machine which needs to be unplugged and re plugged in daily for the iPhone to pair and read sleep data. Not the result I was hoping for when I invested in the air mini. Seamless daily connectivity with my iPhone was what I was promised and didn’t receive. It worked initially for approximately one month and dropped off. Still waiting for a solution from Resmed in my second year of having this device..Version: 1.5.7

Can’t view reportsI use an AirSense 10 at home and can view, download and print my reports at home (which are required for my DOT physicals) but this app and machine not only won’t combine the reports from my AirSense 10 and the AirMini, I also can’t even view my reports on the AirMini. I have to go to a CPAP supplier who has the software to download the report then print it and take to my doctor. That’s exactly how it was done years ago and was very inconvenient especially when the supplier is 40 minutes away. I never would have bought the Mini had I known they “dumbed down” their software and would have just traveled with my home machine..Version: 1.5.7

App needs overhaulLike so many others the connectivity with machine is appalling. Have to disconnect and reconnect to power to get Bluetooth connection- everyday. Also as others have mentioned information is relatively meaningless. Interesting there aren’t any replies to the critiques. Maybe a little communication would be in order after all it’s a medical device. The mini was also “sold” as a convenient travel alternative! Given Covid, just been able to travel internationally and Unit fails dismally with reference to convenience. The plug is so heavy that when inserted into an international adapter the combination kept falling out of the socket-so much for “travel” feature. I look forward to feed back re a work around for all issues..Version: 1.5.10

Worthless App/No Technical SupportOne of the worst experiences I’ve had with an app. Doesn’t connect to Bluetooth, even when I can connect my phone to the device outside the app. No good troubleshooting advice. When I call for technical support can’t hold for assistance with promises to be called back. The no one calls. Makes me question my investment in this product. Clearly not getting the diagnostic information I was promised when I purchased it..Version: 1.6.1

HopelessJust like previous reviews- I’m trialling the Air Mini, 1st night got the data - great. 2nd night no connection - had to delete the app and re install. Just like previous reviews! Is this going to be every night ?? Teamed - please please please improve your app. Looking at other travel machine options currently.Version: 1.6.1

Can’t get to reconnect bluetoothAfter initial setup on day 1 I am having a hard time reconnecting from day 2 onwards. The app does not pick up the connection despite placing the phone right next to it. Very frustrating.... Finally figured out a way... (Ctrl+Alt+Delete)... Unplug the device power and replug each time phone Bluetooth does not connect ... the device connects and syncs up data....Version: 1.5.6

Error ?I’m confused - thing air app is making me update to this but it’s not the machine I have a now no longer works.Version: 1.4.0

Airsense 10 eliteWhen you launch the original “My Air” app it states that the app requires an update and automatically takes you to the AirMini app that is not supported with the Airsense 10 machines. Very frustrating and now have two non functioning ResMed apps on my phone. 😡😡.Version: 1.4.0

Pairing IssuesI also have pairing issues. Does not reconnect and have to manually unplug and plug the power for it to work. After all this time I would of thought it would be fixed in an update!.Version: 1.5.2

Why can’t Resmed fix it???It’s now 2023 and still the same problem with Bluetooth connectivity. What poor customer service..Version: 1.6.1

Needs some workIt would be nice if this app had more detailed data. For example, you can see your sleep scores in all categories (usage, mask seal, ahi), but can not see deeper data such as the amount of mask leak rate, etc. It would be nice if this tied into Apple health as well..Version: 1.5.0

Bluetooth failWhy does Bluetooth continually fail to stay connected? Reading reviews on this product this has been a problem for a long time..Version: 1.6.1

App will not open in my cell phone (update)I was able to get the app to open after deleting it and reinstalling it. I read another review which said that the data for our nights sleep is not automatically uploaded so it can be seen for compliance. Will that be updated in the future so we will not have to do the extra steps to make sure our data is being shared with those who need to see it? Update, I was able to get the App to open. Thanks!.Version: 1.6.1

UselessTotal garbage. Never connects to phone..Version: 1.6.1

Somewhat useful but poor Bluetooth.Bluetooth connection is unreliable. Regular reinstalling of the app is a short term fix but really not good enough. Would appreciate some options for data analysis but as quick feedback it’s ok..Version: 1.5.8

Nothing to rave about …or even talk about. The reporting is absolutely bare bones. It doesn’t sync with anything - Apple Health, My Air, nothing. The report provided is simplistic to the extreme and there is no meaningful history report. Resmed reaponded that the reports are not meant for clinical analysis but a an update on your therapy. I understand but I prefer gauges on my car rather than idiot lights. I’d like the same detail of information regarding my therapy..Version: 1.5.7

Why will ResMed not let me access the data? All the app shows is an over simplified sleep score broken down into 4 categories. Come on ResMed, stop treating me like a child, I want to look at the full breakdown of the data like I can on my AirSense!! Bad form!!.Version: 1.6.1

Awful Bluetooth.App worked fine when I got my Airmini but haven’t been able to link with Bluetooth for the past year. Reinstalled app etc but still no joy..Version: 1.6.1

UpdateApp not working as it keeps telling me I need to update to the latest version......Version: 1.2.0

Bluetooth connectivity very poorRarely connects. Can’t use regular Bluetooth settings to connect. Use the app and wait ... give up. Yes my blue light is “flashing”. More like a slow blink..Version: 1.5.7

Completely dysfunctionalThis app hasn’t been functional for years. ResMed haven’t bothered to address the connectivity issues, essentially abandoning their customers. I’d recommend buying Philips hardware instead..Version: 1.6.0

Report feature very deficientI switch a month ago to airmini. I used the myAir apps with my previous airsence since 5 years. In myAir, you have a comparative view of the las 30 days on the 5 measures. And you can have a detailed report from the same screen. Both were useful to have a tool to improve the quality of sleeping ? Do I sleep enough ? Is my mask is well adjust ? Etc. And bring awareness and corrective mesures. The airmini has very minimal report features. You can only view the data one day at a time. You have to go day by day. No comparison is possible. As the resmed customer service answer to my request about it, you have to ask your home health care or medical equipment provider to get the report. It’s kind of surprising that the feature is missing since the code already exist in myAir, that it is easily transferable in airmini and that it’s the same compagny the provide both apps. In the state of the actual airmini apps, If reporting is very important for you, you might reconsider the purchase of an airmini..Version: 1.5.8

Why not sync with MyAir?I use the mini for travel. Why not sync this app data with the other for continuous reporting? This app by itself is pretty useless except to manage the mini. And still no Apple Health sync - resumed is obviously trying to prop up their overpriced resellers that add the "reporting value"..Version: 1.6.0

ResMed miniThe app drops off and won’t connect again to Bluetooth. I have deleted and reinstalled the app 6 times since I purchased the equipment in December 2020. I’m operating a iPhone 7. Another problem is you have to put in a nickname and they all seem to be used. Frustrating!.Version: 1.5.8

Bluetooth flaky. Can’t export data.Won’t connect to phone over Bluetooth unless you unplug and replug it each time (there is no power switch). Can you trust a medical device maker who can’t master Bluetooth? There’s no way to simply export your data to your smartphone - you need a different app for that and to sign up for resmed’s unsecure cloud storage for your medical data (nope, not going to do that), then you still won’t be able to export your raw data in any useful form. If resmed solved these two issues, the AirMini would be the perfect travel/off-grid solution. The hardware works really well, but this smartphone app is so limited and flawed, it seems like it must be intentional neglect to prop up their other software non-solution..Version: 1.5.8

Bluetooth connection problemsApp is ok but annoying that I have to completely reset (pull the cable out of my machine and back in again) for the blue tooth to connect each night. Very very frustrating..Version: 1.4.0

Not available for air sense modelI was also advised as previously mentioned I could monitor my sleep using an app but it does not work on the air sense models can you advise I’m in the uk and app on your website says not available? Please read correctly this is the sense model.Version: 1.5.7

App is useful, still needs improvement but making progressI have had the air mini and app since they first were released. I have found both important travel “companions” and have started using them at home. I am still frustrated that the long-term data doesn’t seem to be stored anywhere. Most frustrating are the difficult standards for rating excellence which over time are discouraging (to this user!). To constantly get grades of 60-70 with an occasional 80 makes trying an arduous path. Furthermore the suggestions for improving are at best sketchy . This is especially true of mask “adjustment” (in instructions it says “not too tight”). Also amount of sleep and the negative points 6 hrs gets (isn’t it relative?). I strongly suggests an upgrade of accessible IT and a further research development to make this clearly a “winner”.Version: 1.5.8

Will not connect to BluetoothWould never auto connect to Bluetooth since I got the machine and app. Now it will not connect to Bluetooth at all despite doing what was described in other reviews. Pretty much a useless app if it doesn’t work.Version: 1.6.1

Lost the ability to count the hoursI had this app on an iPhone 8 and it worked very well. On a new iPhone 13 it forgot how to count the hours. Every morning it reports I slept 3 hours or less when in fact I slept 6 hours or more. The next morning, the new reading is also wrong, but then the report for the previous morning shows the correct number of hours. This happens every day. I can only see the correct myAir score for Monday morning on Tuesday morning..Version: 1.5.10

UseFind the machine good but nearly every week I have to re sync the phone to the app. Have been trying for an hour now and still not working. Have reinstalled the program with no luck. Very frustrating.Version: 1.5.0

Houston...........Just downloaded this App to go with my new ResMed AirMini and can’t get past the screen telling me in order for the App to work, I need to download the latest version? Tried it on both iPhone 8 and iPhone XR and same problem. I have the Bluetooth connection working properly. Please resolve ASAP..Version: 1.5.0

Won’t ConnectI have a new Air Mini. It replaced a Dreamstation 2 due to a recall. I like the machine but this app is a terrible, horrible, no good very bad app!! I have only been able to get it to connect ONE TIME! And the most recent update was more than a year ago?!? What’s up with that? Is no one at the company monitoring this app and these reviews? I will NOT be recommending this machine to anyone because I can’t see the data to share with my doctor and insurance company. Please fix this app and make it useable!.Version: 1.6.1

Where is My Data etc?Resmed says the AirMini data is “uploaded to the cloud” period. What cloud? I can’t get it from the cloud and I’ve been to two doctors that can’t get the data from the AirMini. So whose cloud is it sitting in? It is MY data so why can’t I ( or my doctors) see the data? Isn’t it a legal issue that patients must be able to access all their records? I regret buying the AirMini because of this app! Also why does the AirMini and the Airsense 11 use two different apps that don’t talk to each other?? Ihave gaps in MyAir app when I use the AirMini. Why does it matter which machine I am using? They are both ResMed machines and should report ALL the data to the same place. It is VERY important because users must meet compliance or the machine will be repossessed. We can’t meet compliance if Resmed makes it impossible for customers and doctors to get the data. I generally like the machine but this app makes me regret buying the AirMini. Resmed: please get your act together so myself and my doctors can access the data you”upload”! Create ONE app for ONE USER so all data is in one place and accessible..Version: 1.6.1

Doesn’t work with latest iOS 11 updateWon’t pair w unit on Bluetooth.Version: 1.5.7

AirMiniConnectivity is totally unreliable Daily data is benign and trite Having to reconnect to Bluetooth every couple Of days is ridiculously frustrating Somebody update this please.Version: 1.6.1

Why my air become this ?Can not have my data from my airsens 10 and forced to upgrade to this useless app for me . Iphone X.Version: 1.4.0

Provides incorrect data analysis, no data download availableBoth this app for the ResMed AirMini and the myAir app for the ResMed 10 provide incorrect analysis and are therefore useless. In addition, the data reported by these apps is not available for download, so there’s no way to get a correct analysis in some other way. The problem is that these apps report numbers of device usage hours wildly at odds with reality. It seems to get confused with naps and sleep nights that start too early or too late (for shift work for example). Alternatively, it may be getting confused about time zones. In any case the reported number of usage hours rarely corresponds to reality. I suspect the developer gave up on coming up with an algorithm to correctly determine when nights are and which nights should naps apply to (which is easy enough for a human to determine when looking at the data), though the problem may lie elsewhere. This app may work if you always go to sleep before midnight, always get up before noon, and don’t take naps. Otherwise, you’ve just spent a thousand or so dollars on a good machine with bad software. Unfortunate..Version: 1.2.2

Not happy! Not connecting to app since recent apple update.Version: 1.5.4

Resmed and MyAirThe Resmed product is ok. It’s quiet and the mask is a decent fit. The MyAir app is a joke. Doesn’t provide useful information. A complete waste of time. The data is not accurate. The app can’t distinguish sleep and simply wearing the mask. There’s no way to remove the mask for a length of time and then put the mask back on and continue the sleep session. The app then forced me to upgrade and ask me about blue tooth. I don’t have a mini so the app is now completely useless. Incredible that the technology is so poor..Version: 1.4.0

Connection issuesIf I did not have to put one star I would have put zero. I still can not connect between the app and the device. I have been able to connect directly to my phone but never through the app following instructions. The app has been deleted and reinstalled multiple times with no change. Unfortunate choice on my end especially habe I needed something small for travel..Version: 1.5.8

Ok, but data and app need workWhy can’t we sync both air mini (Travel Device) and my airsense 10 (home device). This would allow for a entire picture of sleep. Second, when will you sync with Apple health? It would be great to have all sleep data in one spot with all other medical information. The air mini is a great travel device, not a quite as the air sense but close..Version: 1.5.7

Fix the BluetoothApp is fine. Just fix the Bluetooth! Need to unplug and plug in several times a week. Annoying !!.Version: 1.5.8

Can’t connect to BluetoothWhen I first received and used my Air Mini I downloaded the app and had no issues with connecting to my phone via Bluetooth. ( However it was annoying that I had to reconnect every night.) Now after only using it for a week, it won’t connect to Bluetooth at all. I have checked the settings on my phone and deleted then reloaded the app to no avail. Extremely frustrating..Version: 1.6.1

Useless App except to control AirMiniThe scoring should be available in different formats and not only for the past 30 days.Version: 1.5.4

Poor appTwo issues need to be addressed. 1. If you walk away from the Air Mini with your iPhone, the Bluetooth connection is lost. Ok, I understand that, but when you return to it, you must go through the Bluetooth connection protocol again. To make matters worse, you must unplug the AirMini to reconnect. Other Bluetooth devices can reconnect automatically, why can’t the AirMini? 2. I have an AirSense10 that keeps track of my use, but the days I use the AirMini, my CPAP usage is logged at zero. Why can’t MyAir and AirMini apps work together. These fixes are not technically difficult, unless the systems were poorly designed from the beginning. Were they?.Version: 1.5.6

Love the Mini-The app is not so goodI specifically bought the Resmed mini for travel as I traveled a lot. Now I find that even though I use it, the information isn’t combined in my Resmed account and, as such, doesn’t count towards use for insurance purposes! To add insult to injury, the app quit recognizing my machine and I can’t get to a screen that lets me manually add the machine. The machine itself is better than the AirSense 10. The outflow air on the mini is about 4 inches from my face, so I don’t have air blowing in my eyes all night..Version: 1.5.4

Ok app but lacks critical usage tracking and reportingThe app is ok for very basic information. I had used the myAir app with the Resmed Air10 series full size CPAP. It had all the necessary usage tracking and reporting/export functions but I was quite disappointed when I purchased the AirMini and found out that it required a completely different app (AirMini) that lacks all reporting and usage tracking that is available in the MyAir app..Version: 1.6.1

No unified dataI don’t understand how it’s still not possible to get a sleep report that aggregates data from my at-home machine (Airsense 10) and the travel machine (AirMini). Same company, same machines, two apps that don’t talk to each other. I can’t even generate a report from the AirMini app that I can use to say I have 100% compliance. I just have all theee gaps on the MyAir report for when I’m traveling..Version: 1.6.1

Meaningless proprietary scoreThe AirMini app only displays to the user a single nights data summarised as a useless proprietary score. The CPAP machine itself functions flawlessly, and collects vast amounts of data which can be conveyed to the sleep technician, but not displayed to the user. The app provides some control of settings on the machine, which is a sole redeeming feature. ResMed must improve this app to provide meaningful data to the user..Version: 1.5.8

Please fix the bluetooth functionality. The app is 100% a waste of time if they don’t fix the connection problem. It’s not connecting. I suspect the version of Bluetooth expected in the app has been superseded. It’s just so frustrating..Version: 1.5.7

Gets time of use wrongLately my time of use shows a couple of hours less than actual..Version: 1.3.0

What? Can’t auto-rotate?Hello? The app doesn't even auto-rotate for landscape mode? (Yeah - my iPad sits in a keyboard frame when in use 100% of the time.) Is it arrogance by the app developers to assume and/or force people to use devices in vertical format only? Obviously not by other app developers. Is it short-sighted to develop a device (AirMini) which can ONLY be adjusted or provide data output via Bluetooth? What about technically challenged Senior Citizens out there? [Oh ... get the grandkids to do it fo you.] Come on, Resmed, you can do better than that!.Version: 1.4.0

Good machine, very bad app.The machine is great, but the App is extremely limited. Basically there is no analysis of the quality of your sleep, despite a high level daily report with one single biased score (heavily weighted on the number of hours you’ve slept). Also, you cannot see consolidated periods of time and browsing through the historic is awful..Version: 1.5.8

Improvement to the airmini appI just read the comments about the Airmini app and they are all from 2019. Was the app improved in 2020 following the user’s comments? I would like to know before buying the machine, thank you for informing me..Version: 1.5.7

Would you mind working on getting the app more functional please? In order to get the Bluetooth to work I have to unplug my air mini. The problem with that is I lose all the data from the night before, we’ll all data period. What’s the point if our data lasts as long as snap chat? First, should I really have to unplug my machine each time and go through setting up a new connection each time? I am delighted to have such small machine that gives me a little humidity. It’s perfect for my frequent travel. Thanks ResMed. Would you mind working on getting the app/bluetooth to be more functional please?.Version: 1.4.0

Unable to Bluetooth connectUnable to Bluetooth connect to an iPhone 12 and no response to queries for assistance. Not very happy at all. Prior to the phone change I was reasonably happy.Version: 1.5.8

Needs more features- Consolidated recording with the online tool - Needs to write sleep quality data to apple health.Version: 1.5.0

Bluetooth will not connectSadly I followed the instructions in the instruction book and does not connect. Followed the instructions in the last review response from the developer Sep 4 2023 to reset and clear everything which does not work either. The app is broken not the Bluetooth on my phone or on the AirMini. After trying all the advice, I can connect directly from phone to device so both work fine. Repeated the advice from developer and still doesn’t connect in the app. Fix the app please. Paid way too much for this device to be fighting to get the app to work..Version: 1.6.1

Air Mini app doesn’t work wellGiving it one star because I can’t give it zero. When connected, the app works...good luck staying connected though...mine consistently disconnects, then refuses to reconnect. Even when the unit number shows up on the connection window, the connection fails to occur, instead routing me back to the previous screen. I have many Bluetooth items that work EVERY time, without fail or drama. This one is virtually useless..Version: 1.5.4

Watch AppIt’s time to add an Apple Watch extension so Air Mini users can operate their device from their Apple watch..Version: 1.5.10

Bluetooth failLike other reviewers, I’m constantly frustrated by needing to reset the machine often when the Bluetooth drops out. Also the auto off doesn’t work a lot of the time. I sent a support request years ago and was told to turn it off and on again! Position of the connection for the humidifier cartridge makes it way noisier than previous machines I’ve used and I sleep with earplugs because of it. The size is super convenient for travel but the lack of time zone settings make data useless. I can imagine shift workers would have the same problem..Version: 1.6.1

Superficial AppThe app works as advertised but only gives basic, superficial data. Every morning I wake up and see my sleep score but there’s no real detailed info to share to the user. Events per hour reports one event. Great. What time was it? What pressure was needed? Good mask fit shows 19/20. Why? What time did that happen? Etc. The developer for this app stopped short on so many levels it’s not funny. I can’t even export this data to send to my doctor and THAT should be one of its main uses. For a sub $1k machine the app should be more polished. Also, you can turn the Resmes MiniAir off completely. You have to unplug it. Seriously? SMH.Version: 1.4.0

Still failing to connect BluetoothApp is fine. However I need to restart the CPAP multiple times a week to sync my data. It’s really disappointing to see the ongoing Bluetooth issues I’m having were reported 2 years ago and they still happen. It would also be great to have a basic summary of the data added to Health App. Even if it was just logging sleep time data..Version: 1.5.8

Blue tooth connection issues & noiseyPast few weeks started having many pairing issues with Blue tooth. Use to be ok. Can still use machine without pairing, but then you can’t keep track of sleep stats. Find the machine quite noisey too compared to larger machine I trialled, hard to sleep because of this. Surely a mini-machine can be designed better so the air filter / outlet doesn’t need to be so close to face/ears?.Version: 1.5.2

App keeps on crashing when openingI have not been able to use the app recently as the app crashes every time I open it cutting me off from seeing my daily report. Knowing that the last update was 6 months ago, I fear there is no update anytime soon that fixes the root cause of the crash..Version: 1.6.1

App problemsSecond time I have had to delete and reinstall to get updates or use app not cool.Version: 1.2.2

Get the basics right please!Getting this thing connected via Bluetooth is incredibly difficult. Somehow the app lost its connection so I have uninstalled and reinstalled the app. I’ve now made 15 attempt to connect via Bluetooth without success. Separate issue: why is there a separate app that has identical features and functions to Resmed’s myAir? Why not just include the ability to add another device? It is ridiculous to go back-and-forth between two apps to look at partial reports of the SAME data. The only reason I’m not rating this app lower is because I know that it works when it’s connected (from past experience)..Version: 1.5.7
