✓ Good for the SideI am in Las Vegas, NV and go online during my main job’s lunch break and my days off. Postmates has helped me stay a float for the times when my main income source is low, like it is currently. I’ve really only done about 100 deliveries so far. From what I’ve experienced so far, it’s worth it to keep working with Postmates for my circumstances. My need for extra money is essentially medium, and I’m in a city that has grown into 6 subsidies and it never sleeps. So it’s real convenient. Cons: it’s not really worth the hassle of delivering downtown in the tourist areas, where the biggest surges are. You gotta battle thick traffic and fight for self parking in garages. Further the casinos block your cell service and your app goes offline while fulfilling the order. This also happens when I’m delivering to the outer regions of town; my app goes offline and so I just prep real good for those orders and make sure I know all the drop off details before heading out there. But I’m still pulled far away from the surge once the delivery is complete sometimes the surge passes by the time I commute back..PACL2013Version: 5.13.2

✓ Many will apply, few will win !It’s surprising to see how many issues most of the drivers can come up with . I’m almost at 1k delivery’s in 3 1/2 months , I make more than 25$ an hour , and i absolutely love it. Most of the complaints I see are from people that expect to have a poor attitude with excellent pay . IT WILL NEVER HAPPEN PEOPLE. Having a can do attitude while looking for solutions, will however set you apart . In return you will make top dollar We are not just dropping off bags ! Be the person that checks orders , informs the customer, and goes the extra mile . Or stay upset and deliver mediocre orders. I receive outstanding tips and it’s never faltered. Check your attitude, be proud of what you do and watch your income grow . Simple as that . I love postmates And I’m so thankful it exist . Without it I wouldn’t be living my new lucrative life ! ✗ Postmates does not care about their fleet!Do not waste your time with this company! They did not care about their fleet drivers at all! I spent 20 minutes at the restaurant placing the order and confirming it with the employee. Just as I was about to check out, the order was canceled with no compensation! This was despite being in contact with the customer about the progress of the order. I am certain the cancellation did not come from them. Postmates decided to cancel the order because they thought it was taking too long, even though I was diligently doing my job (the merchant was slow and barely spoke English). After spending 20 minutes on this order and the embarrassment of having to cancel the purchase after everything was made, I spent 30 minutes on hold with support to find out what happened with this order, only to be told they could do nothing to compensate me. This is almost an hour of my time and energy wasted on slave labor for this company because I’m not getting paid one penny for it. Absolutely despicable! Competitors like DoorDash at least give half pay if the order is canceled after you arrive at the restaurant, and their pay is better. I will not continue with Postmates as long as they continue to treat their drivers like trash!.Abigail9609Version: 5.5.0

✗ If you like to waste money apply herePostmates is a joke, you have to place the order right, check the order pay for the order take a picture of the receipt of the order to get $1.70!!! Drive how ever far they send you for .50 a mile away then you get an amazing .75 for dropping off in a hotel or apartment that has you walking around for at least ten minutes. Then wait weeks sometimes for a tip. When you add that up basically you get $5 maybe for 25 minutes. I forgot they pay you a off the charts .07 cents a minute to wait for the order which breaks down to 6.50 an hour. That might work somewhere like a third world country but in the USA that’s beyond a joke. They take in millions a day doing nothing but sending drivers to peoples houses, basically an app middle man that takes 90% of the money. Boycott all apps based where drivers get screwed and the app makes all the money and takes zero risk. They don’t pay minimum wage or for insurance or anything. They treat you like an object not a person risking their life to bring lazy people who can’t wear a mask food. They threw 20 million at California to pass props so they don’t have to pay us like employees. You could spend all day working and not make enough to fill your tank back up. 150 miles in Southern California for four hours and make $60!!
