✓ AmazingThe cameras in the new iPhones are incredible, but lack control. This app is seriously amazing. Manual adjustment of resolution, ISO, shutter speed, white balance, and focus, and it all locks in so you don’t get variance while recording. This should be bundled with every iPhone. ✓ 480p Please!Can we please get some lower resolutions, eg 480p, 320p, even 200p please. All other apps including Wattapp (520p I believe) can do lower resolutions. Seems crazy because it’s “pro” app we can’t recode or go lower for example for emails. Missing last star for this reason. All good though..Version: 1.10

✓ Paired with binaural mic/headphones.. wow!Surprisingly this video recorder recognized SceneDAC (Scenes Lifelike VR recording headphones) binaural mic headphones. Sounds amazing compare to any dedicated audio recorder on iOS. ✓ As an amateur, this makes me look like a pro!I love, love, love this app. I just started learning how to edit videos so I could start making short movies for my family and our trips, holidays and events together. I am not fluent in any kind of way with different manual settings and manipulation of exposure, white balance, etc, but this app is so easy to use and practice with to finally get to the settings I want and the quality of the videos I can now edit and put together are stunning. ✓ Best app for Cinematography. PeriodAmazing app. Zero film grain which is wonderful. Unlike the Apple default camera app which lately adds a yellowish tint and filmgrain to all 4K / 60fps videos. This app on the iPhone is as good as it gets and supports 40/60Fps. Easily worth $50. The iPad version doesn’t support 4K/60fps but the iPad does have the 4K / 60 FPS resolution camera. Weird. The white balance control is the best I have ever used. Needs updated but easily the best video recorder app in the App Store. Saving / exporting videos to the camera roll is a breeze..Version: 1.10
✓ Great - shame Watch remote unreliableI use this for recording meetings. Great manual controls to set and lock exposure, if needed, and zoom for either front or back cameras. Selectable video resolution and audio sampling rates. Sound pickup is good from phone’s mikes at a distance but use radio mikes to reduce pickup from audience. Using iPhone12 - on old phone, Apple Watch worked as remote control but now cannot cannot connect unless already recording and then loses connection when watch sleeps. This had been a great feature and will raise to 5 starts if it can be restored..Version: 1.10

My only gripe is that you cannot save your camera settings(I have to readjust white balance, zoom, etc. each time I open the app. This is a minor issue -probably a non-issue for most but I film in a controlled environment so readjusting the settings each time can feel arduous..Version: 1.10

Works with the SHURE MV88 microphone! In app screen brightness control! Hold to start/stop recording! It’s a shame it hasn’t been updated for iPhone XS/XR tho :( I hope the developer will add XS/XR Or even iPhone11 support Would really love to see a 3:2 video mode (4032 by 2688) added. Or even a max open gate/full frame mode (4032 by 3024) Has great onscreen info on how much time you have left recording in the current resolution/bit rate (Filmic Pro take note....).Version: 1.10

✓ Don’t buy if you already have pro movieI bought the Pro Movie app and then saw the Pro Movie + app and bought it too, thinking there was a difference. There isn’t. They are both the same. So do like I did and buy both. Also, I have messaged the developers through the message portion inside the app and have not gotten one reply. I have to say I love both Pro Movie and Pro Movie + but since they are the same app, it’s not surprising. I just wish I’d done more research and just bought one of them not both..Version: 1.10

Easy to use manual controls and locking.I like the controls and the fact you can lock white balance, exposure etc to give a more professional look (I used to use a Sony Betacam SX for work, and do hanker a bit for pro features in my consumer gear). ✓ Two weeks using Promovie RecorderI am very happy with this app. It optimizers the iphone’s camera far more then the standard recorder that Apple provides. The price is very reasonable as well. I have a few feature suggestions for the producer but no complaints with the app. 1) a start/stop record timer function 2) flash brightness control 3) 100+ frames per second in 4K for newer devices (if that’s achievable that is).Version: 1.10

My only qualm is that I can’t get the video exporting to work on my camera roll or when I iTunes file share on my Mac it doesn’t play properly. ✓ Good basic video recorderHas some good features and is good value for money, better than its price suggests. The Apple Watch app is absolutely tremendously useless, it literally does not work. I’ve sent two emails to the support address and not received any response so support seems non existent. It’s a shame. I’ve moved to MoviePro with the MoviePro remote so I can control recordings remotely. That’s much pricier but if you just need basic, single device video recording with excellent advanced options and audio input choices then ProMovie+ will get the job done..Version: 1.11.4
