✓ Great Game!Even though I understand that there was supposed to be additional content, I’m enjoying the game immensely. I spend most of my time mining and chilling out and progress the story for a change of pace. ✓ Great fun but needs expandingFirst up let me say that I love that this is a “pay once” game and not riddled with IAPs. The first thing I do when considering a download is to check for IAPs and avoid if there are any. I’m happy to pay for a quality game and this definitely falls into that category. I’m really enjoying playing but feel that there could do with being a bit more to do. Some more side-mission types and a much longer main story would make this 5-Star. Graphically it’s excellent and what some people are calling sliding when trying to control their ship feels to me like an effort to include inertia into the control model. If you are flying in one direction and turn 90 degrees and power up your engines then you’ll still have motion along your original vector. A great start to a game that could hopefully expand into the franchise that Galaxy On Fire *used* to be before GOF3 ruined it all. Devs have been quick to respond to my questions too..Version: 1.07

✓ I LOVE this game...I'm about 2/3 of the way through this game and it's been great from the beginning. The controls are nice and fluid, the most recent update allowed me to choose my own time in the free hunt, and it gets progressively harder as you go. The controls are pretty fluid and the settings allow you to fine-tune them the way you like. Adding the ability to replay levels was a great idea. When I'm done with the game I can go back and keep fighting just because it's fun. You have to make allowances for the story though. Through the game you have to buy weapons and ships and craft special ships. You and the other characters are out in the middle of space with no connection to the rest of the universe except an arms dealer and a starfighter repair shop? Still, it adds a challenge to the game which is nice. So, please, support the game so it keeps getting better..Version: 1.06

✓ Amazing Game, Low on ContentI love this game, it has amazing controls, a good ship variety, good bosses, and cheesy dialogue. I will admit it can get pretty frustrating when you almost kill a boss but accidentally crash. The biggest issue is that; I just completed the game and I only spent about 7 hours on it. That may seem good but on my favorite mobile game (War Robots)I’ve spent dozens of hours on it and it’s free. Basically, if it had multiplayer it would give more play time, and if you have to choose one game ( for younger kids) you probably shouldn’t pick this game..Version: 1.20

✓ Great alternative to Galaxy on Fire (GoF)This game does not (yet) have the depth as GOF2, but is a much better game than GOF3. The acceleration is better now, as it is not 'all or nothing'. It would be nice to be able to slow or stop, especially when a blueprint is inside a box-like area. The radar addition is helpful, too. I still like GOF2 better (much more depth), but this game does deserve 5 stars for what has been created so far..Version: 1.06

✓ Worth the money, a successor to GOF2To clarify: lacks the RPG depth of GOF2 but has amazing controls, awesome graphics, and well thought out environments. If you played the old GOF for its dogfighting and good controls, look no further. Additonally, this does not require an internet connection to play, which is a godsend to those who play games while traveling. The developer has been great about fixing bugs too - had an issue with screen scaling (8+,IOS12) and a fix has been released fairly quickly..Version: 1.21

My only suggestion would be this: add a feature so that we can control the speed of the ship. Both mining and exploring are pretty basic and the levels can get nearly impossible quickly and then get super easy. I've been playing the game for about 6 hours and even enjoy the free melee section to bring and get XP However.... For the longest time I couldn't seem to buy or build a new ship. ✓ Great game, needs more updatesSo this is a great game overall, and one of the better downloads I’ve made from the store in the past year. Gameplay is fluid, fun, and challenging. Unlike the “freemium” games out there, this one you just pay for, and you can earn enough resources in the game to get what you need to advance. The graphics are good, and the story is engaging enough. There are a couple things to improve. First, it needs more content. You have about a half dozen direct fire weapons, and two missile weapons. That’s it. What you have is nice, but it’s not that varied. Same with the ships. Second, it’s a short game. There aren’t that many areas so the story ends pretty quickly. So about the time you can unlock a really powerful ship and weapons, the story is over. You can get some replay value by playing free play and mining, or replaying earlier missions, but that’s not all that interesting for long. Overall, great game. ✓ Good shooter - boring explorationThis is an excellent space shooter. The controls are sensitive, (set sensitivity to 0 on iPads). The game has three elements. Mining. Shooter. Exploration. Mining is straightforward and is the best way to gain equipment early in the game. The shooting sections are exciting and well presented. Worth the money alone. Exploration is the problem in opinion. I have spent about three hours trying to find the forth item on level 7. You can't progress unless exploration levels are complete and I am getting close to deleting the app. I've had my money's worth, no complaints. Maybe I'm just too impatient. The different levels of personal engagement between the action sequences and exploration levels are quite extreme. It is quite possible to watch tv, make a coffee and chastise the cat whilst aimlessly searching around between random deserted space stations. When the fighting starts it's 100% concentration or you are toast. Buy it, but prepare to be patient. UPDATE FOLLOWING DEVELOPER INFO A radar device will be appearing in the in-game shop. ✓ Finally - not IAP dependent!!This is a terrific game, not least for the fact that you don’t need to keep spending to do well. In fact, you can’t keep spending! You can play and win the whole game without spending an additional cent. Great graphics and elegant game play. I can live without the cheesy dialog but you can’t have it all. ✓ Impressive gameThis game has potential... I wish it was similar to your other game stellar wanderer like the whole vast exploration and big freighters with more different ships but without the bugs... This game is easily could be a must have game, story could be better though. I would definitely even play it on console 🕹🤞🏻, I love how easily it moves the ship around, but saying that’s the game itself is pretty easy I would like a challenge for your next section ;) Keep up the good work!
