✓ Trash AppNothing works on this cheap app. It's a complete nightmare and a waste of time. I deleted it after wasting 40 minutes on it just trying to repeatedly ask a question through the "Contact Us" link. My information was 100% correct and all in the same format they requested, but every time I submitted my question, it said that a phone number was mandatory. My VN phone number was there and correct, and in Vietnam format. I then tried to send "Feedback" using their link in hopes that they can improve, which made me create an account to send feedback, BUT then I could NOT send feedback unless I had a McDonalds store receipt with the store location number. ✓ Not worth usingRegular issues with the app. Very average and infrequently updates specials. Not a fan. Offers in the app also incorrectly indicating that these have been redeemed already, which is impossible and could be more bugs with the app. It is not clear whether this is als an intentional or accidental “dark pattern” to lure people into stores. Bad privacy as data practices are also used that are not compliant with ethical privacy and data use. E.g. full personal information including home address etc is required to submit a “contact us” form. Only data necessary for this purpose should be collected. ✓ Slow, scamlike scanner for MonopolyAwfully slow app, and I have a new device with fresh iOS. Constantly freezing. Codes for Monopoly don't read correctly half of the time, you have to angle your device in a weird way. But the fun part start when you reach so many codes scanned: it refuses to scan them in general, making it harder and more annoying for you since you have to type it in manually. Tested that on multiple devices, even those that aren't iOS. Just McDonalds not wanting to give out prizes. Ah yes, and the chest limit - after so many codes (a miserable amount, btw) you aren't granted them anymore. This is so awkward to watch a huge company with millions in additional revenue from Monopoly hype doing this over prizes. And this is on top of Monopoly being almost no winnable in general. ✓ Coffee rewards problem ruins appThe app is ok - I get a couple of decent offers (they’re supposedly tailored) that I use regularly. However, since McD’s started forcing users to collect and redeem McCafe rewards through this app, I struggle to both collect and redeem them through the self service screens - they lock up and you’re forced to cancel your order, yet the coffee redemption gets taken from the app. I feel like I’m being robbed. ✓ Stuck in a login loopI cannot login in to the app with the account I created as it gets stuck in a login loop where the account login page keeps getting returned asking me to continuously enter my email and password. ✓ Privacy policy not accessible in JordanThe newest update originally had the updated privacy policy and terms and conditions available to read on a pop-up window when you opened the app. The privacy policies were pretty invasive for a restaurant app, and so I didn’t agree immediately and just closed the app. Now, when I try to log on there is a different pop-up window with a link that DOES NOT WORK to a page that is supposed to contain the privacy policy and terms and conditions. So, the all wants me to agree blindly to the terms and conditions and to a privacy policy that I have no way of reading. I downloaded this app because the German McDonalds app isn’t available for my account (blocked). It’s advertised in the AppStore as having many languages available so I downloaded it.
