✓ Not worth the time and effortApp looks like a glorified wrapper for the mobile version of their website and it fails even at that. No option to remember login info (not even user ID) between sessions. I guess you could call it a security feature. Main reason I got the app was to manage a registry and after adding several items on a PC and then switching over to mobile app items did not show up. Had to log off completely to get them to eventually show. Initially couldn’t even add items to registry but I guess they have since added that feature. In my frustration I ended up using Bed Bath and Beyond mostly for registry items. Had I used the app further, I’m sure I would have more to say. My advice is wait till they have a more worthy app version..Version: 3.2
✓ It doesn’t recognize my correct login infoThe first time I opened the app it worked well. The next time I tried to look at it, it wanted me to log back in. It kept saying my account info was wrong, so I reset my password. It still didn’t recognize my login information. I can login just fine on the mobile site or online, but whatever reason it always says my login isn’t recognized. It is very annoying, and it makes having the app useless. ✓ Basic registry app that doesn’t keep you logged inThis app is pretty basic and simple to use to curate your registry but it doesn’t keep you logged in which is absolute garbage. ✓ I second it - not worth the timeAfter having chosen both Pottery Barn and Crate & Barrel for a wedding registry, hands down I recommend you go with C&B. The app is a glorified web page, does not remember your credentials, and my wedding guests purchased gifts that did not get recognized as purchased. AND the return process is not easy. Any online purchases (the vast majority) are all returned via USPS mail in SEPARATE gift cards. And any returns in store are also SEPARATE gift cards that CAN NOT be combined. Every time I have gone to use the app it has signed me out and then I can’t sign back in. It never recognizes the log in information (that I always double check). ✓ Awful for shoppingI’ve never in my life written a review for an app, but in this case, I felt compelled. I’m not sure why PB changed it, however, my best guess would have to be that they do not want you to shop via the app. Perhaps they want to steer you toward their website for some reason? It seems to be designed specifically and solely for creating and managing a registry (I cannot speak to the app’s performance for that purpose — maybe it’s good?🤷🏼♀️). Anyway, I was never in love with the app to begin with [i.e., previous version], but I loved Pottery Barn enough to put up with it. Eventually, I got used to it. It grew on me. This current version is so useless to me, I will most likely delete it. I guess I could try to use it my creating a “Registry” for myself then shop from that list— that’s if you're able to use a payment to make a purchase? I’ll probably just use the website. ✓ Better Off with ZolaThis app is a nightmare. It doesn’t keep you logged in, it’s not easy to manage and they do not notify you if an item on your registry has been discontinued. In addition it is not user friendly when navigating between their sister stores of william Sonoma and West Elm. Do not water your time with this app it will only cause headaches.
