✓ Not usefulDon’t waste your time downloading this version if you think it’s free as the page implies unless you only need to be reminded to pay only two (2) bills. The old version of BillMinder I bought years ago, used almost daily & loved will not work with iOS 11 and no update found so I downloaded this one. Upon attempt to enter my third bill into the app I was told that I’d need to buy another version to enter more than two (2) bills. Well have a nice day. I was willing to deal with the in-app advertisements but whatever. I just paid the (on sale) price of $1.99 to upgrade so I can use it. Not crazy about the format. ✓ Zero SupportResearched multiple bill paying apps after my previous bill paying app didn’t update to my new phone (and was discontinued in the App Store). Downloaded this one and paid the upgrade to rid it of all ads before inputting all of my bills. Two missing features: 1) No place to input confirmation numbers from the biller to confirm proof of payment, and 2) No ability to pay more than the amount of the bill. When I wrote to Support, I received no response. I tried multiple times and never got a response. ✓ Just randomly deletes infoI purchased this app a while back and it has been helpful. However, recently it just decided to delete all of the information I spent a very long time inputting. It seems like the app just restored itself to new as if I just purchased it. It would be nice if the app had a login feature and kept that info encrypted in the cloud. ✓ Multiple issuesI was looking for a simple bill tracker and this seemed just right. Unfortunately, bills would duplicate or would mark themselves as “unpaid” after marking as paid. App doesn’t allow you to set up original due dates or past dates, so use future only. ✓ Bills fine extras are terribleI had to come back and update my review. The app on my IPad works great, its just my iPhone that’s not working. Even when I sync it remains a hot mess. I just paid for the upgrade and I’m trying to enter the rest of my bills. You can only change the color of or add categories while adding bills. Each time I change the color the app kicks me out. When I go back in the app I realize that my new categories have been doubled. ✓ Could be great!So first of all I found it misleading to call this a free version app. Yes you can use it for free for 2 bills and 2 bills only. Any more than that and you have to pay. If I only had 2 bills I wouldn’t need an app to help me keep track of everything. I think a premium version should actually pay your bills for you and link to your accounts. The free version you should have to manually enter your accounts, but also have the ability to add ALL your bills to make the app useful. The esthetics and operation of the app I think are great.
