✓ AverageVisually very nice. Its a game more than education tool for your little one. They play maths puzzles, which they can solve just by tapping until they hit the right answers. And earn money which the can spend on all sorts of stuff- the part I like the least in this game. Kid focuses more on tapping relentlessly to earn virtual money than on learning something. With that said I don’t think it’s worth the subscription cost. I don’t feel the developer delivers enough value for money..Version: 8.2
✓ Used to be goodI payed for this before it was a subscription and now I have to pay again, that happens to every good math game now and I am not happy..Version: 11.8
✓ Fun but have to have monthly subscription“Free” is a big call here. It looks like we can’t go past mission 3 without a monthly or annual subscription. I don’t mind paying once off for a good game, but the last thing I need is another subscription. Otherwise it seems clever and I assume the puzzles will get harder as they go..Version: 9.0
✓ Great activity - major flawThis would be a five star review - the game has a great set of basic math activities and the right level of gamification to keep my 5 year old engaged. However, there is a major flaw which has left him in tears three times now - there is one activity to ‘find treasure chests’ and it is near impossible. I can’t do it after several minutes of effort. It is totally unnecessary to have it be as hard as it is. Very frustrating. You can’t play the rest of the game until you find it and they are impossible to find. Renders the whole game useless.Version: 1.2
✓ DisappointedInitially looked like a great game and my son was really enjoying it. But got to mission 3 and can’t go any further unless we pay!!! Deleting this game now shame.Version: 7.3
✓ Glitch in the appMy son seems to enjoy the app, but there is an issue at Mission 9. You have to complete each mission to advance to the next one, but Mission 9 can’t be completed. You are supposed to find the ‘treasure chest’ on the map, but there isn’t one!!! (The map of the island is small so it would be hard to miss it if it was there.) We know what to look for because we have found them on the previous morning missions, so there is definitely a glitch which prevents us from moving on. Very disappointing!! I will change my rating when/if the error is corrected..Version: 3.1
✓ ExpensiveThe kids don’t get much free play before you have to start forking over cash to keep them playing. It’s kind of a cool game but not worth what they are charging to play..Version: 8.0
✓ Gender bugs🤬Look I really like this game it’s 5 stars but what do I mean by gender bugs is the monsters I have created that have a gender of Male(The ones without eyelashes) well the thing is when I read the facts about them they had the feminine words like “she and her” instead of the masculine ones like “he and him” it doesn’t make sense so will you please fix the bugs the female monsters I have created are fine but the males have the bugs, why do they? Please fix the bugs😐 just please so that way this game is back to 5 stars instead of 3 stars okay👍🏻.Version: 12.4

✓ No HelpMy child has been struggling with math for over 2 years. We’ve spent hundreds of dollars in books, toys, and computer software to help her. We were at wits end until downloading Math Tango. She fell completely in love and actually wanted to do math. To say that we were ecstatic is an understatement. Unfortunately, there is a glitch in the app, specifically mission 24. For 3 days she has been doing the task of “recharging” robots, but no matter what she does, the app doesn’t recognize that she’s completed the task and doesn’t move on. We’ve done everything from restarting the iPad, closing the app completely, to adjusting the lesson plans, and of course ensuring all updates were complete on the iPad and app. I’ve emailed app support twice with no answer. It’s distressing that I’ve got a child that finally has a desire to learn math and the app is frozen. We are on the 7 day trial period and of course were on the path to purchasing the full subscription without a second thought. However, looks like that 7 day period gave us insight into what the full subscription tech support would look like. Needless to say we may be on the hunt for another educational program/tool. Best of luck to the rest of the families who download Math Tango and hope that you don’t encounter the same issues..Version: 12.1

✓ Keeps restarting, not really happy atmAlthough my daughter absolutely loves the game It constantly keeps resetting and makes for a frustrating time. Since first downloading a few weeks ago it has completely restarted from the beginning 3 times. If this can be fixed then the game would be amazing..Version: 2.1
✓ MathTangoMath tango , started out great , but as soon as you complete only 4 missions you are stuck can’t play any more unless you want to pay £12 to continue . Wayyyy too expensive will be deleting this as it’s pointless now.Version: 1.2
✓ Could be great!My son and I love playing the puzzles together, but we end up having to turn it off as it is so frustrating. We are now several weeks in and have an island full of monsters (earned from activities). The island is totally crowded and then the daily missions/ tasks require you to find a specific monster before you can proceed. This requires you to spend lots of time touching every monster to see their name, and the game has bugs which means you can touch different monsters but the same monster name comes up. This can literally waste hours per week and drives us crazy, as the other aspects of this game are excellent. The way they do the math puzzles is as good as I have seen on any app but to progress you have to do the ridiculous time wasting tasks. E.g Find ‘any’ monster and put him on the trampoline is fine.....but when it says “find Terence, Rafael and Kondo, to complete a different activity with each one”.....you are going to waste an hour doing that. This could be an awesome app if it didn’t waste so much time. The bugs don’t help. So frustrating..Version: 8.2
✓ Great, except for the MAGIC TREASURE CHESTSThe math part of this game is wonderful and my kids love playing it and getting new monsters etc, but FOR THE LOVE OF ALL THAT IS HOLY please add an option to skip finding the treasure chests! This is a complete waste of time and often they are too difficult to find or simply don’t exist, meaning that no further progress can be made. My whole family has tried to help my daughter find one and no one can find it. She’s now giving up on the whole game which is a shame because like I said the math puzzles are great..Version: 12.4
✓ Good except…The game play is good, love the math practice, and the worlds and characters are fun and motivating for my kid. Unfortunately, there is a major flaw that completely ruined it for us. We had to change devices, the old iPad was being returned to the school district. Got a new iPad, and of course all of the apps and games are tied to my own AppleID so figured all was well. All of our other games and apps transferred just fine, seamlessly. However, MathTango apparently only saves data locally and there is NO way to transfer progress other than a workaround requiring contacting them and sending a log from the old device (yikes) so if you lose or don’t have access to the old device, all of your kid’s progress and all of that work disappears. Poof. Never existed. Super frustrating and took all the fun out of it for us. On the plus side, their customer service is responsive and friendly, even though they couldn’t do a thing to help us. Enjoy the game, it is fun, it is good math practice, but be aware of this flaw..Version: 10.6
✓ Great concept but the UI sucksMy son really enjoyed the monsters and the math challenges. Unfortunately some of the UI just doesn’t work. For example it was really unclear where the “lagoon” was to put Omar. We tried putting the little monster so many places beside the x shaped island as instructed but none were right. This is a game for kids. It should not be so obtuse..Version: 10.7
