✓ Has all the tools, but needs speedThis is a great app that has a lot of cool features and tools, such as encryption, easy formatting, night/day modes, email tracking, etc. However, it needs some optimization or performance updates for simple tasks. I’ve used Spark by Readdle, Inbox, Gmail, and Outlook, but none of them take as long to load new emails into the inbox as Canary. I can have the client up, see a notification, and wait a solid 20-30 seconds waiting for the inbox to load the emails. This persists across platforms, and for multiple tasks. Deleting an email from the notification, then opening up Canary on phone or in client, and the email will still show up until I refresh the inbox a couple of times. Would also love a default “Unread Only” inbox option instead of having to use the filter.FarazR2Version: 2.04

✓ Canary makes my time so much more productiveLike others, I have tried various alternatives to Apple Mail, but Canary Mail looks like it could be the one I stick with. Easy set up, seamless iCloud integration, one-click To-Dos are the main plus points so far (36 hours in). I am steaming through my email like never before. If only the Mac app were fully stable (I need to reboot the app to retrieve my inbox), I would be giving five stars..Jhn brssndnVersion: 2.18

✗ Too many bugs and stange interface choicesI want to like this app; but there are just too many bugs. Sub folders are not sorted properly (not alphabetical and you can't change their order [IMAP]), editing the tool bar in the e-mail composer window (like trying to change to icon and text causes all of the buttons to disappear. I don't use a signature -- but the e-mail composer always shows "No Signature" at the bottom of the message (this is super anoying to me -- why does that even need to be there?). When I hit the reply button at the top of the main interface -- it then pulls up a drop down menu asking if you want to reply or froward the message -- this is litterly the most used button in e-mail why does it take two clicks to reply; there should be a button for reply and a button for forward (this seems such a basic oversight). There is no visual indication if you have replied to a message (how can an e-mail app be missing this feature?). I gave up after running into all those issues..BallonistVersion: 3.54

✗ Mostly nice...with some significant caveatsInitially attracted to this client due to the integrated Secure Send capibilities. All seems to work well with a few caveats... - The compose email editor is lacking - can't insert images, etc... makes for the need to use other composers/clients for some emails. - You can only see 1 or 2 lines (max) of Preview in the message listing...ability to see 3-4 shouldn't be excluded from the options. - There is no automated tracking pixel blocking - other than not loading any remove content = not too helpful. - The Customize Toolbar option is problematic. The Icon Only vs Icon and Text = doesn't work - only icon shows regardless of setting. - When you add/change/move labels (folders) within Gmail - you have to fully restart the app to get it to pick up the changes. The BIGGEST annoyance of this is the fact they expect you to have a separate subscription for EACH OS (and it's not clear that's the case). I subscribed on my MacBook Pro and then had to go searching on the App Dev's website to determine why my iPhone app was not picking up the paid subscription too. Are you kidding me? I use a PC for my work laptop use my personal MacBook Pro have my email on my iPhone... there is NO WAY i'm paying a full yearly subscription for EACH. So - I'll keep it installed on my MBP and solely use it for when I need to send Secure Messages...and utilize Outlook on my other devices.  Disappointing....AJX22Version: 3.54
