✓ Awesome appI’ve been using thus app for almost a year now as a softphone on my tablet with a voip number from Callcentric. My tablet has a data plan so essentially is a cellphone with this setup. It has been virtually flawless. Why not have a cellphone you ask? I live rurally in Canada and have no cellular signal at my home. I always have a tablet. So that’s the rational! ✓ Works ok. Funky reinstall process, but support is goodIf you have to install the app on a new device, do it from your purchase history, not the store list. I guess it’s an App Store limitation. ✓ UI needs improving but great functionalityBria is a fantastic softphone app. However, my clients don’t use it too regularly so having the UI as simple as possible helps for when they do interact with it. I suggest the following: Move the favourites icon to the dock. Also to have the ability to show and hide what is placed in the dock such as show or hide the keypad icon, contacts icon etc so you can fully customise the app to how you’d like your clients or yourself to view it. Ability to export all settings from Bria would make setting up multiple devices much much faster and error free. Option for the ringtone to be set as whatever the normal ringtone of the phone is. Ability to save DTMF buttons. I use this app with intercom systems. Would be great to be able to save multiple DTMFs, name them such as ‘Door Unlock’ and then have those icons display at the bottom of the call. Added ability to disable Wifi Data. So Bria uses only Cellular..Version: 5.4.2
✓ Push gateway is a game changer!This is a great app! I paid for Bria “Classic” and used it for years. It was, by far, the best of the dozen or so VoIP apps I used. This new app is better, and a monthly fee is perfectly reasonable. Offering push notifications is a HUGE win. It means the app doesn’t have to run in the background and maintain an active network connection to your SIP server all the time. That wears down battery fast (because your cell/wifi radios have to kick in much more often). Now that work is all off-loaded to the Bria servers and they just ping your phone when the app needs to start/wake up. You can quit the app entirely and it will still ring when needed. It’s magical! I have several VoIP accounts, some with big name providers and some self hosted on my own little FreePBX system. It’s a piece of cake to turn this on for all of them. Though a bit of reading is with your while to understand the different modes. Running that kind of infrastructure isn’t free. Their push gateway is now mission critical for every Bria customer using this feature. They have to pay for the hardware, and staff that monitors those things, 24/7, including weekends, holidays, etc. This is no small thing. Paying $1.30 CAD/month is totally worth it. I sure don’t want to be the person monitoring that on Christmas Day. My few gripes: With multiple accounts that have SMS enabled, there seems to be no easy way to pick which account to use when initiating a new SMS conversation. This would be a nice plus. Also, while I get notification banners, I don’t seem to get any badges over the app icon when incoming SMS messages arrive. Those would be nice..Version: 6.3.7

✓ Top notch software and tech supportI have tried several other SIP soft phones for my work and this is by far the best in every respect. There was an issue with me not being able to hear the other party for 2-4 seconds after they picked up. I contacted tech support and Rob helped me through the settings to fix the issue and some other minor nuisances I had encountered - very competent and super fast tech support! I also had major problems with Bluetooth headsets with other soft phones but not Bria. The feature set is mature and the app is very stable. Calls are clearer than they are on my Mac with a wired connection. Worth every penny!.Version: 5.6.3

✓ Great App ...I was using Grandstream’s GS Wave app; which was all well and good ... the only problem was the background registration issues if the app was not open 😕 Enter Bria ... this app gives the same service as GS Wave, with a few little extras, along with the background registration for iOS devices ... couldn’t ask for more.
