✓ OK then! UPDATED AGAIN and AGAIN! And AGAIN!!Still one of the best of its type on iOS. There are some newcomers but I keep coming back to Auditor because the UI and workflow are spot on. Thanks! Now with Pitch Shift! Awesome! 6 Stars! Timestretch plus everything else! Indispensable! Great new update! Gets better and better! Spend a little time learning it and be REWARDED! PREVIOUSLY: Based on the devs posts on the Audiobus forum and things said in the excellent user manual I believe this is a long-haul project with lots of great things planned so I’m going 5 stars in anticipation. PREVIOUSLY: Excellent user experience. Planned slicing and stretching look good but quite usable as-is. Ability to use AU fx would be a plus. Great start!.Version: 1.0.52
✓ FANTASTICWhat a fantastically useful App AUDITOR is turning out to be. I recently purchased the newest version of CUBASIS 3 which according to all the hype should stand head and shoulders above all other DAWS on the IOS platform. Unfortunately the lacklustre basic Audio editing features on Cubasis 3 makes using this DAW very unattractive. Well, AUDITOR has sort of come to the rescue and made the advanced editing of Cubasis 3 audio files possible with just a simple workaround. Using Apples improved and more accessible file structure on the iPad it is a simple process of doing a quick mix down of required tracks in Cubasis 3 and then direct import into Auditor. After working on the tracks it’s a simple process of saving the files directly back to the mixdown directory in Cubasis 3. Super simple. This App does exactly as described..Version: 1.0.31

✓ Overall is a major step in the right direction for iPad OS two track editorThere’s a lot of good. Could you edit a project with Auditor like you could with RX or DSP Quattro. Well, it’s design is similar. It’s based on a traditional 2-track editor. I haven’t spent enough time on it to say if it’s a logical candidate for ‘the” two track editor on the iPad OS platform”. It looks like it though. I say “the” because macOS users tend to find a two track editor then stick with that one until it goes out of business. In my 30-35 years doing this I’ve used three. 1. Digdesign with the Audio Media II card. 2. Peak Bias. 3. DSP Quattro and RX. (I’ll open Fission every now and then because Rouge Amoeba is such a good company). Cons: (this is a first look complaint). The icons at the top, New, Tools, Import, are too small. Sure, get them out of the way, but that’s too small. It’s uncomfortable. Try and concentrate on the GUI. Nail it. Many things are right. But don’t sleep until it’s perfect. That will keep customers coming back for years. And if you can afford to, try to avoid the subscription model. Charge a flat price that will make you happy and we’ll live with it. Obviously it’s not going to have the rich plugin format that RX has. AUv3 needs to mature. And that will take time. But besides this is about the best I’ve seen along with an app called “Mastering”. It’s not perfect either but I’ve use it, (and some others too). Pros: (I’ll come back for this but this two track editor looks very promising as “the one”. We’ll see. Steve Steele.Version: 1.0.52
✓ Great functionality but poor accessibilityThis is a great app that I would use all the time if it weren’t for struggling to read the text. I have poor eyesight and the contrast of the text against the background makes it very difficult to tell what is going on. ‘Light mode’ is slightly better but the text has such a light font weight that it is still a struggle to decipher. This would get a five star from me if it wasn’t such a pain to read. It’s pretty much unusable for me as it stands which is a shame as it has some awesome features :(..Version: 1.0.47

✓ Share sheet fixed! Rock!App is showing up in share sheets/widgets as of today, 7/11/20. I can finally start putting in some time to learning the app 😃 If you could add one feature a la Twisted Wave: being able to import video files that are then converted to audio and opened in the editor. ✓ Nice!Seems a bit specialized for things I don’t really need. Would love a simple x2 and /2 for sample speed (with no interpolation/time stretching goo, just tape styled speed change) and batch convert support for folders. But yah, great start! PS. Please make a separate multitrack audio editor that supports AUfx automation and busses/routing, no need for midi or even AU instruments, just a sweet mixing environment for imported stems. iOS needs that!.Version: 1.0.33

✓ Awesome 😎I’ve only been using this for a short time but already I can see this is better than the desktop audio editors I have been using. The interface is great and interaction with touch is very smooth - which shows how much care the developer has put into this. My primary reason for purchasing this is I have a project where I need to transparently loop field recordings and the loop cross fader in this app is the best I have ever used. Thank you 🙏 My only hope is this will get AUv3 plugin support so I can use my EQ and noise reduction plugins..Version: 1.0.35

They’re like Cable TV, that have so much you likely will never use but you paid for all the same. Like I have Auria but I’ve never used it. All the clutter and junk and PC Desktop design. ✓ High quality app!Very intuitive despite its depth. Love many of the features. The slicing is very fast and controls are good. This may become my favorite sample chopping app and I have many. It is an extremely elegant, capable, app that is head and shoulders above the other offerings on here. It it is the sort of tool that a professional would use.
