✓ DisappointingI can not hide my disappointment over this app. I had looked at all the possible options and found this paid app to be the best option, however it frustrated me right from the beginning. I had to jump through hoops to get my tv and iPad to recognise one another and when I eventually did every time I moved out of the app to go to the page I wanted to broadcast, it disconnected. Eventually though more luck than anything else I managed to get my picture broadcast to my tv only to find the pixilated quality when there was any movement on the screen very distracting. More disappointing was the length of the lag between iPad and tv, and since there is no way to mute the iPad but still maintain the volume on the tv, it is impossible to watch one or the other. I feel very cheated by this app and having to pay for something that is practically useless to me is not acceptable..Version: 3.3.7

✓ Not for what most people wantThis app had so much potential but unfortunately for the majority of people needing a good mirror for their TV, this app will not work for what you need it to. I would say that this developer really needs to offer a short trial period before making everyone pay for it. You might give people time to actually like the app and figure out exactly what it works with and doesn’t app and TV model wise. The way it’s advertised is as it it will work with and for everything and your average customer base is not going to do the deep amount of research it takes to find out these things. If you get this app and find out like I did that it doesn’t work, contacting the customer support is a pointless step, they don’t actually help they just send you links to Apple, so just go to Apple via webpage to get your refund and hopefully they will refund you. I’m waiting on my refund now (which can take 5-7 business days) and if it doesn’t work then we all now know how this developer makes money. Anyway, if you can’t get your apps to work with Apple on everything then maybe it’s time to throw in the towel or do better. Will update soon..Version: 3.3.10
✓ Not really what I wantSo trying to watch sky go on my tv, like all reviews say sky are a well oiled machine, so didn’t work. However I tried using 123movies, to watch my movie. The site worked fine and mirrored onto the tv. HOWEVER there is no sound transferred, there is a lag of about 4 seconds, which means the audio coming out the iPad is 4 seconds behind the film or show you’re watching. I expected this to work like Apple TV, it does not. If you wanna view a slide show with no sound of pics then this is the app for you. If you wanna stream video with no sound it might be ok, but if you want a cheap version of Apple TV then you’re wasting your time. If I could have a refund I would greatly appreciate that. The developers didn’t explain all that I have said so I feel it was miss sold. If I was told it doesn’t send sound and has a lag of 4 seconds I Definitely wouldn’t have bought it. ✓ No use if travellingPurchased to use at an airbnb while travelling in Europe. Apartment had new Samsung TV supporting mirroring and content running fine on iPad and mobile. When I tried to mirror the app said content provider app didn’t support mirroring. Support told me to reset mobile, router, TV and start again. Same happened and then support ignored me. The connection worked to the tv By the way! I actually closed ALL my apps and tried to mirror the home screen but got the same message. ✓ Not really clearI had very high hopes when watching a video tutorial about this app and how it works well and can be used for multiple apps. Once purchasing the app and setting up the iPad to the TV, I found myself very disappointed that it wasn’t unable to stream the videos I wished on to the tv. ✓ Just use the built in iPad screen sharing$5 bill lit on fire. 20 min is all I cared to invest in this and it is already uninstalled. Yes I read all the guides and FAQ’s beforehand. ✓ Doesn’t work well with normal web browsersI wanted to use the app to play videos from safari and chrome from my iPhone to my Samsung tv. I kept getting notifications that it wouldn’t work with those web browsers and was told to downloand puffin and some browser called uc to no avail. That’s too many steps for me and whenever you are told to use another product when you purchase a product it’s a bad sign for me. Responsive support team though. ✓ Delay and not 1080pIt definitely works but there’s a 2 second delay between what you see on the tv and on your phone screen. The video quality is definitely not 1080p even when you select the right option. It also narrows massively in portrait mode - not sure why. ✓ Frame rate kills thisJust casting a video from my phone, not streaming from net or anything. I’d rather it buffers instead of keeping it going but looking jerky... very average experience. Connection is solid but overall worthless if the video you’re casting is impacted... Or give an option to optimise? Over hi speed internal Wifi it should be capable eh? If we can stream hi-def over the net, shouldn’t it? £4.99 for subpar experience. Not good enough. It works but ultimately ruins the experience... A cumbersome and expensive solution …… that has no advantage over Apple’s straightforward AirPlay / screen mirroring features that come built into Apple devices at no extra cost! The free version has no sound and even the paid version doesn’t truly mirror the screen as the view and sound on the TV lag behind so much thar it’s hard to control anything interactively. A waste of time to set it up, and check it out while constantly getting bombarded with annoying reminders to pay for a subscription! ✓ Updated and now it won’t workI just updated this app which I’ve had for about three months. Prior to this it worked pretty well. I updated the app and now I can mirror to the TV until I get to episode of a program and then it just freezes and will not work. I can get the sound but I can get no picture. ✓ Horrible Lag, Completely UnusableConnected my iPad to the TV, using iOS12.3.1, both on the same Wifi router, so peer to peer on the internal home network so internet connection should be irrelevant. only devices being used. Changing screens on my iPad when first connected was a horribly slow indication of what was to come. Spent $5 on this solely to play Fibbage, to broadcast it on the larger screen for everyone to see the instructions better, which has hardly any graphics animation, but even the sound was soooo lagging behind the iPad (about 5 sec behind). Since the game has a timer to enter answers from our mobile devices, the game was completely unusable broadcasting on the TV! Wasted $5 and uninstalling this now. Did it mirror, yes. This app is very delayed and distorts colors. If mirroring anything with slim stripes you will see the whole rainbow in between each stripe. Also, it only let me use the app for about 4-5 minutes before locking me out of doing anything without a subscription. Why does every app and their mother want you to have a subscription? It wasn’t until I tried playing my movies and tv shows off my iTunes that I encountered an issue. I got the following message: Cannot Play Movie. The connected display is not authorized to play protected movies. When I followed up with their support team, they responded with the following: Apple has HDCP DRM protection for playing iTunes movies. This means that they also block screen mirroring when watching movies from iTunes. I suggested they add this info to their app description as it is currently not mentioned that iTunes isn’t supported. ✓ Mostly worksI’ve been using this app for a few weeks now. Once I get the connection working it does provide good beaming from my iPhone but it usually takes some considerable fiddling with both my phone and my TV to actually get the connection. App support has been very sympathetic to my issues with suggested fixes but the inconsistency of establishing the connection each time I use the app has continued to be frustrating. It does eventually get there but I tend to set aside 10-15 minutes of switching my phone and TV off and on in various sequences before it finally connects properly. ✓ 3 second delayFrom what I can see this app just records a 3 second video and broadcasts that to the TV. For minor processing or photo sharing that is fine, however it’s not a true screen mirror as video calls, videos and any audio will not sound through the casted device and instead on your origin meaning you’ll be 3 seconds out always. ✓ Good yet not so goodReasoning for the 2 star is only for the fact that this app has a minimum 1-2 second lag versus the screen actions on my device. (i.e. iPhone). The screen graphics are also a bit less than my device. Not much so I won’t degrade that part. The lag in the play back is detrimental. Along with the fact that after connecting. A short time after it will drop the connection without warning. It’s not bad for the money. Though it definitely does not live up to its advertising. (It’s older and doesn’t update anymore. ) I watched everything fine, and then yesterday it all quit working. ✓ Kinda works sometimesI purchased the app a couple of weeks ago and it worked well the first couple of times I used it to stream shows from my phone to my tv. Since then, it seems like the delays are significantly longer and the sound is even more delayed than the picture. I frequently get the “buffering” symbol on my tv screen while the app is still streaming fine on my phone, which is very frustrating. I’ve tried resetting my router, contacting Samsung support, and also checked with my internet provider to try and resolve the issues without luck. Also, I can’t find a way to mute the sound coming from my phone, so I have to turn my phone volume one notch above mute and the tv volume waaaay up to hear it. ✓ Disappointing and not smooth!I purchased this after having read multiple negative reviews and liaising with the customer service department who assured me it would work for me. Whilst the set up process was quick and easy and the functionality does work to a degree, I can’t stress enough that this does not perform as it should. The streaming connection is established by broadcast recording NOT Airplay. Because of this, it is 100% impossible to stream footage without expecting jerky/jagged playback. It is not any way near as smooth as you’d like and therefore ruins the experience. This is not mentioned in the advertising of the app but is repeatedly expressed in the reviews section. Would I recommend this app? ONLY if you are not put off by inaccurate playback..Version: 3.4.5

✓ Lag and delayI feel like I just wasted my money on this application. To be honest, it was easy and smooth to set up and find the TV, but when it started broadcasting, there was like 5 or 6 seconds delay on the TV. Also, it was pausing and taking some time to buffer what I already did on my phone to display it on the TV. If I wanted to display anything on the TV, I’d need to wait for some time to buffer it and load it up. Especially, if I wanted to play a video, I’d need to lower the volume on my phone and wait for some time so I can actually see it and hear it from the TV, and the what is displayed will still pause to buffer and load. ✓ Lag and drop-out = unsuitable for presentingAlthough the app description recognises that the lag makes it unsuitable for gaming, it does claim it's suitable for presentations. Sadly, this is not my experience: stood just 6 feet from the router on a 5G connection, the lag was horrific and the connection dropped out within the first minute of use. (Fortunately I was just testing it). Easy to set-up and therefore to reconnect - but that’s not what you want to be doing when you’ve just started presenting! I’m sorry to say I wont be using this and can’t recommend it. Really was hoping it would be better..Version: 3.3.8

✓ Do not buy app if you want to stream from phoneThis app works through screen recording from device and broadcast to tv. This is not true streaming and does not work well with apps such as Disney + or anything else. This does not have anything to do with DRM. It has to do with the way the app works.
