MetaChat is a text-only viewer for all Virtual Worlds based on the OpenSimulator/SecondLife© software for 3D worlds.

There is no 3D view, this is a text-only viewer.

This is no mobileSL/OpenSim, it is a viewer for mobile devices but it has the same system requirements than any other viewer.

Add accounts from different worlds with different start locations
See your friendlist, read messages or write, send teleport invite
Add/Remove friends
Chat with groups, see group infos or write group notices
Chat in open world
Move around a mini-map, teleport to landmarks
See your inventory/worn, preview textures or pictures, send items
Attach/Wear/Detach/TakeOff Clothes
Enter/leave groups
Add friends/invite/pay/remove
Worldmap
Follow avatars on map, goto, teleport
Share inventory items
Upload images

You need to create accounts for each world you want to enter before MetaChat can use them.

Informations and passwords are only stored local on your device and send to the servers. We do not read, store, manage or use any of these informations.

✓ Works fine, does what’s advertisedEasier to use than MetaVerse was, and has more functionality. I have had no issues with crashing etc that others have described. Perfect for chatting and reading notecards. Works well with iPhone. It does what it says it does. That’s all I ask from an app..Belladonna66Version: 1.2.601

MetaChat Cons

✗ Not so greatGreat app. Does what it needs to. Despite going in app settings and selecting the option to keep the app logged in when phone goes to sleep, it will still log you out of your phone sleeps or you respond to a text, logs you out on any app switching! Reliable app if you just need to check to see if anyone is on. But the way I multitask on my phone makes this app useless to me..Rthompson14Version: 1.2.0

✗ Your “update” fixes nothing on the pc client.Despite your update over the acknowledgement of the bakefail, your app has still caused the grievance of not rendering avatars in world when you use firestorm, sl viewer etc. I can’t believe something this archaic exists with problems that only get worse as they “update” I cannot wait for something else to be released. broken inventory links are shown as "broken link" messages during login are now processed properly update for new screen sizes and orientation modes on iPads + internal updates for security and performance.
