✓ Very very poor, no stars reallyI’ve seen people mention the ads, which are a some annoying. Pure money grab with the hopes you don’t realize literally every other remote app is better. I checked. It doesn’t function how it should, struggles to connect to my 5g network, and even then doesn’t think my new, 850 dollars tv is on the same network. And yeah the ads pop your very first button click and every 7-10 after that. I never thought this simple of an idea could ever be botched. You did it..Version: 2.1
✓ VERY FRUSTRATED!!!!!It is way too many ads. When u are trying to move over a space all of a sudden an add pops up very frustrating. It would work a lot butter if the ads came on when u opened the app only not while u r trying to move to the next movie or trying to play it. It’s a lot easier to just buy a new remote because after 10 seconds of not using it my phone locks up and then I have to sign in all over again watch an ad and then when I’m trying to find another movie watch another add. I think every 5 times u press a button the adds go on..Version: 2.0
✓ Difficult to useSo many ads it is extremely difficult to use. I was thankful that I could turn the TV volume down but I had to click away about 10 ads while I turned it down. It is difficult to use and sift through Netflix as a new ad pops up about every 3 seconds. Helped in a pinch, but you’re better off using something that doesn’t bombard you with ads..Version: 2.1
✓ Adds and the soundThere is just way to many adds about every five clicks there is a new and and some of them you can’t skip so you have to completely X out the app to go back but when I’m looking for a movie I have to hold it down so that a add doesn’t come up and another thing is the sound buttons don’t work for me but overall it’s a .3 stars Becuase the remote it’s self is Ok.Version: 2.1

✓ WHAT HAS HAPPENED?This used to be my most trustworthy TCL remote app. I’ve been using it for over 5 years and all of us sudden it doesn’t work anymore! It won’t connect to my TV no matter what i do. So frustrating when I’ve already bought the ad removal and it stops working..Version: 2.5.1
✓ Have to re-sync every dayFunctions well when connected however I have to have the tv on to re-sync the remote at least one- two times a day so when trying to turn the tv on it doesn’t always do it and I have to get up to turn the tv on manually which kind of defeats half the purpose of a remote..Version: 2.1
✓ Don’t botherYou WILL have to pay for this. Every other button press brings up a timed ad. I’m just trying to turn the volume up, and I’ve had to watch three ads. I’m not kidding. ✓ App killed my VPNI suspect it was during the search for my tv on my local network. If you are using a VPN be aware of this. I also accidentally purchased the add free version which was annoying, I tried to close the app after clicking on the “remove adds” button and the purchase immediately went through. ✓ Weirdly not responsive for Netflix appI have the paid version, so no issues with ads. What is strange is that specifically for Netflix, the remote has connection issues. It will work fine for a minute or two, but then when trying to scroll through the Netflix menu, it "freezes", and tells you to make sure you are connected to WiFi for at least 30 seconds. The connection is never interrupted to begin with, and this only happens with Netflix..Version: 2.2.1
✓ Never worksI’m not sure if this is a proper Ap. It doesn’t work at controlling the TV. It drops the connection continuously. The only thing it can do is post constant Ads. So I am not sure if this is supposed to actually work or if it is just an ad pusher Ap. Surprisingly it does offer you to buy a new proper remote in the Ap itself. Which says volumes about the usefulness of this Ap to control your TCL tv. Other quality tvs have better aps then this..Version: 2.0

✓ Too many addsIt works really good, there’s just way too many adds. I hate having to close the adds every time they go on. The adds come constantly also. ✓ Works 40% of the timeI was considering paying for this app, until today the left and down button quit working and apps started popping up so frequently I couldn’t use the remote at all. Thank god I found my remote, I’ll be deleting this worthless app of nothing but constant pop up advertisements. Fix the functionality and make the advertisements at least slightly less frequent so it is not pausing out every time you push anything... and maybe you can position yourself reliable enough for people to want to make a purchase..Version: 2.0

The ads pop up when your trying to change the channel, volume, etc. I didn’t mind the apps popping before I used the app but now it’s excessive. But in the last few months, whenever I try to connect to any of my Roku TVs, I get a popup saying the app is only to connect to Roku devices, and do I want to download their other app for non-Roku devices. The remote that came with the television has buttons on the side, and it’s difficult to use. Imagine my surprise when I found out after downloading the app that there were advertisements. ✓ Too many adsI can only get two times button press before an ad starts. Most of the time it’s a 30 second interactive game ad, sometimes it’s just a quick hit the x on the ad. About two-three times a day the app locks up and I have to turn off the tv and close the app then restart every thing to get control back. ✓ UselessIf you’re like me you want this because you can’t find your remote or it isn’t working. However, you can’t connect if the tv is not on, and you need the remote to turn the tv on, as there is no power button on the tv. Therefore, you need to have the actual remote and for it to be working to connect this app. If you have the remote and it is working then there’s no need to use the app, unless you just really want to see a bunch of ads..Version: 2.0
