0 customer service, Confusing interfaceIf you sign up for the $50/month service they will not talk to you on the phone…. I am paying $600/year for them to automatically collect rent which they still collect a fee on each time it processes and they still won’t call me back to walk through their confusing platform. I have a renter trying to pay 3 months rent upfront and this system can’t handle the payment WHICH IS THE ONLY REASON IM USING THE SYSTEM. There has got to be a better company w better support and better service..Version: 1.9.20

Bad service please read before buyingI’m a small time real estate investor. 9 units. This doesn’t mean I’m not successful in other industries. Thats the problem with this company. They treat new real estate investors as peasants. Like listen, I’m worth more money than any sales person that works for you. Give me a break. These people have been no help to me. Their customer service is disgraceful. I asked for a refund and they said no. Been using website 2 weeks, and prepaid for a full year. I may have to get attorney involved, just to prove a point to these people. Our conversations are recorded and there are no instances where I was told non reimbursable. Also, I didn’t have an option for a 2 week free trial. I was pressure sold into signing up. They advertise 2 week free trial, would have been nice to know this. Your system stinks, your service stinks, I want no part of you. I may consider staying on if you had some customer service. Having people reach out to me to watch a video is ridiculous. I’ve watched your videos, and now, I’m writing a review you idiots. Give me a refund!.Version: 1.6

DO NOT USEFive months ago, I sold my properties resulting in me needing to cancel Buildium. I hit the cancellation box and was told that I would no longer be charged. For the past five months I continue to be charged for Buildium. Each month I have called or emailed Buildium to inform them that I’m getting charged still. each time I was told that my account was closed and that I would not be getting charged the following month, but yet I still was. Once again I spoke with a member on the team today telling them my situation and also explaining I can provide evidence of me being charged on my credit card statement and provide emails showing that I was told my account was canceled. I’m still attempting to try to get my account to be fully canceled but she informed me that I would not receive a refund for the past five months because technically my account was “open” even though I’ve been told it was canceled. Apparently there’s a strict no refund charged even if you are getting fully screwed. Extremely disappointed and will never recommend Buildium to my investor connections and clients..Version: 1.9.21

Good but make it better!Great start on a management program for our rentals but please please make it where we can work off our phones like accessing and making additions to the account from my IPhone. PLEASE CONSIDER! Thank you, Like2gofastnok.Version: 1.1.8

Horrible revisionThis app used to be good, but they had to change it to feel relevant I guess. I’m not some old codger who can’t adjust to change...it’s bad..Version: 1.1.4

Landlord - Owner App access pleaseCan a developer figure out basic RBAC? Why can’t the property management company add non-staff? I mean it makes absolutely 0 sense to just have PM companies and their staff use the mobile app... I mean - WHO do you think pays your subscription fees at the end of the day? We pay the PMs a monthly fee (which is a hell of a lot) and they pay for a subscription to your platform. In this day and age, there should be more seamless IAM. Only thing we don’t care about is Admin (user add, delete, modify). But we do care about rent roll and expenses. If we can’t track data via mobile app, then we’ll simply tell our PMs “your customers” to switch. We PAY their salary and thus YOURS... so fix it!.Version: 1.3.2

Need a beef up VersionStill doesn't’ have any version made for iPad, and still missing a lot of functionality. The new app is much better but they should consider doing a beefed up version for the iPad..Version: 1.3.2

Not Useful for Property ManagersThe UI looks modern, but the app is not useful for property managers. My primary concern is tenants payments. I was hoping to see a dashboard with similar widgets to the desktop page. Also, I was surprised to see that a tenant that is late is green. That is counterintuitive..Version: 1.1

Lacking featuresPlease consider letting users add multiple photos of properties all at once, opposed to only being able to add one at a time. Very inconvenient and time consuming. A good app overall, but is lacking in certain features pertaining to combine convenience and accessibility..Version: 1.1.12

Not intuitive for regular useMy main uses for a mobile app like this is receiving payments (improved) and tasks. I can create a task, but I can't change its progress or complete a task with the mobile app. Change that and I change my rating....Version: 1.1.1

Vendor Information is Not ViewableThe description of the app and the capabilities are completely inaccurate. I cannot view vendors like the description says, this app is lacking very important options like being able to view paid/unpaid invoices. Complete disappointment. I am unsure how this app how such a high rating. The rating must be false or manipulated..Version: 1.4.7

I can’t create a new accountI download the app and unable to create a new account. It keep telling me to sign in.Version: 1.1.12

Complicated customer serviceRequests for support are always in a ticket form and you never get to communicate with anyone who can actually fix a problem or issue. I have been waiting almost a month for a ticket to be resolved and they have disconnected service in the meantime. Not reliable for doing business. Especially at the cost of 2,000 a year..Version: 1.9.43

Non stop crashing in the field.Buildium and I spend most of our days together. Unfortunately the app crashes 75% of the time when trying to use it. Imagine writing up a detailed report on a task you’ve just completed and having to re type everything because the app crashes. Also… try uploading a video … not going to happen. I take videos in “hd 30fps” on my iPhone XII Pro Max. Still can’t upload videos. Not a great platform imo.Version: 1.9.28

Bad platform for ownersBe warned that by using Buildium, the property management agency has all rights and total access to your tenants, even if the manager defaults and you change PMs. As an owner, you cannot stop the app from sending harassing (or even just incorrect) emails to your tenants, even with proof of contract termination. There is no oversight or accountability, or willingness to work with owners of properties whose Property managers are using Buildium’s platform. My property manager used Buildium and then disappeared without distributing two months of rent. Because he opened the account (which he has now stopped paying), I cannot see if the rent my tenants posted has been withdrawn. To add insult to injury, my tenants continue to receive escalating late payment fee notices from buildium even after I ended the property manager’s contract, because Buildium will not allow me (the property owner) to cancel this instance… Even though the property manager (account owner) hasn’t paid them either! I had a long discussion with them about this that was unproductive and unhelpful. Don’t recommend..Version: 1.9.22

Not sure how this app has such a high ratingI spend more time trying to create passwords because this app signs me out as it pleases and doesnt let me back in. It really makes my job impossible to do for the day when it does this. Dont get me wrong, I dont mind getting paid for 8 hours trying to figure out a new acceptable password , but my boss dont care for that too muchand it doesnt make me look like the model employee .. makes me look like a lazy person who is always staring at his phone and not working...Version: 1.6.1

Please fix the Showings Coordinator tabI’m a property manager. I’ve been using the app on the go, as it was useful to quickly pull up my showings and get access to the Tenant Turner lockboxes. However, recently within this week, the ‘Showings Coordinator’ tab, now goes to the Buildium website, that is not mobile friendly. I have to zoom in quite a bit and it’s a process to get access to Tenant Turner. I have to log in > go to listings > and then go to tenant turner. All while having to zoom in for each step. My coworker also is experiencing this as well, so i know it’s not just my phone connection. **Please fix the Showings Coordinator tab to go directly to tenant turner.**.Version: 1.9.32

Poor appThis app can’t help with everyday operation. The web platform is much better and easier. I hope you’ll improve it so we can use the app instead of the web platform.Version: 1.4

Very LimitedI can’t access leases, applications or financials. This is just a window into the web site. You can look at the basic stuff BUT you can’t really DO anything?!?! If you offer an app then make it functional to the people who use it!.Version: 1.3.3

BADI signed up for an account with them and it was even one of the customer service who helped me do that. Gave him my card and it was charged. I listed a property and needed syndication so I was asked to submit documents. Which I did and they allowed me. Only to start posting properties after two days of my account being activated for listing . The account was locked for fraudulent reason. What nonsense is that. They took my money and I can’t have my account back. Now I am loosing clients just because of them..Version: 1.9.19

Tenant Screening a DisasterFor over two years I’ve held my breath every time I run tenant screening through Buildium. About 40% of the time the process is at best bumpy, slow and frustrating for me and the rental applicant. Lately the problem has only gotten worse. Today I made no fewer than 5 calls to Buildium support in a so far vain attempt to help an applicant authorize a credit report and background check. Buildium’s integration with TransUnion is broken. If you own rental properties, Buildium is not for you..Version: 1.9.19

Great choice for a company but lacking in the appBuildium is an amazing property management platform in so many ways. The disappointment lies in their application. Everything must be done through “buildium web application” before you can access it from the actual phone app itself. Very annoying. It would easily be a 5 star review if buyers could add properties from the mobile app and add documents and many other features as well. Please consider!.Version: 1.1.2

Ok app but still could add so much moreThe user interface is pretty convenient and allowing you to interact with your tenets properties and contractors however account access an email options are nonexistent or very limited. Improve these things and we’ve got a five star app for sure..Version: 1.3.3
