ASICS Studio: At Home Workouts for Positive User Reviews

SouthblissThese short exercise routines are great. For me the short segments work better than an extended workout. I can add shorter ones to get the amount of exercise I’m seeking. Thanks for offering a good selection of routines..Version: 3.8

Makes gym fun!I have used this app twice, three separate workouts and I have really enjoyed it. Normally I hate going to the gym because I always feel bored but I love this app in fact today I realize that I forgot to hate it! 😃 thank you for giving us innovative workouts and great background music..Version: 2.11

Starting in 21I participated in a tread mill and weight training workout. Calm voice made me continue and push through for the start of a new year and new me..Version: 3.8

ASICS studio loverThis app has been a perfect complement to my running routine in the winter months. It kept me in shape when running outside wasn’t an option and strengthened my muscles in the process for improving my overall fitness level. I’m a big fan of the instructors and workouts. Nicely done!!.Version: 1.5

Life ChangerI have been enjoying Runkeeper for about a year and recently discovered that I also have access to the ASICS Studio app. I am doing the 21 Day Challenge and I am absolutely living it. Coach Erin is amazing. She pushes me to my limits in such an encouraging and uplifting way. Thank you for this!!!.Version: 3.6.1

EfficientEfficient multi-level workouts, super clear videos, easy to follow and possibility to download the workouts for when you have no access to wifi!!! Love this..Version: 3.6.1

Wish you could run other apps in the backgroundI like to run in the treadmill while watching something on my phone. I like the workouts, but I wish it could run in the back fry for whatever I’m watching..Version: 3.6

Just started using appAll but one of the instructional videos worked, which made doing the exercises possible. The instructor’s voice was even and rhythmic keeping you in sync from one exercise to the next. I am a bit out of shape and have gained weight recently So I wasn’t able to do some of the exercises in perfect form or complete all the reps assigned. Look forward to to doing it again..Version: 3.0

Almost great1.) if you switch to something else during the routine (say, for example, to send a text or an email), the app resets to the homesceeen and you lose YOUR ENTIRE WORKOUT and have to start over. Not cool 2.) I know it says you can switch to your own music during a workout by tapping the speaker/music icon during the program, but that doesn’t work. So you’re stuck with what’s selected or silence in the background. Almost there. Not quite though. Still a good mix of routines and styles. I’ll keep using it..Version: 3.4.1

Need more workoutsHave really loved using this app for the past few months. Love the instructor led sessions and being able to play your music while using the app. Canceling my subscription though because no new workouts have been added and the workouts are typically the same movements just in different intervals. Great app just need to add new workouts every now and then!.Version: 3.2

Great workouts! This is a great app with lots of workout options. I use the app on my “non-run” days to help supplement my workouts. The coaches on the app are motivating and I love that you can click on the title of the move to see someone doing the workout in case you need a refresher on form. The music is great that goes along with the workout as well! You can’t go wrong with this app!!.Version: 1.11

SettingFirst time trying the app; so far so good. Definitely motivating! It’s worth the try with free trial! And there’s one condition. I need to make a change to the name password side. I don’t see anywhere where I can change my name. (Wrong info is written on there).Version: 2.4

Great everyday workout appI’ve been using this app for several months now, and it rocks. I’ve significantly improved my running times on the treadmill and outdoors. I thought I was doing fine before, but the personal trainers helped me to improve my fitness level and technique loads. I have also used the indoor bike workouts, fusion, and strength training and have found them all to be time-efficient and effective..Version: 1.5

Good workout but the music...Why can’t we have music options for our workouts instead of being stuck with teenage pop. It is not the music I want to hear. The workouts are great. So I turn the music on the app off and turn Alexa on..Version: 3.6

Great app!I like the structure of the workouts, the videos showing the correct form, and the guidance from the instructors. One thing that is missing is allowing the app to write “active energy” data to the Health app. As of now, the app only writes to “workout” but I would like the data on calories burned to be recorded in the health app as well..Version: 3.1.1

Music issueThe music provided seems to cut out in the middle of the workouts. I’ve tried to use other music apps to play in the background but they cut the workout off. Is there a way to integrate that or allow the music provided to play the full workout?.Version: 3.6.1

Get this! This is by far the best fitness app I’ve ever had. I never write reviews but this app deserves one. Trainers motivate you. I’m doing exercises I never thought I would, running longer etc The only reason this is 4 stars and not 5 is I wish there was yoga, stretching, flexibility training as well. Could you guys please think about adding that.Version: 1.2.1

Great workouts!I often get bored with workouts or simply don’t know what to do when I get to the gym. This have been a great mix up for me! Also love the no weight options for when I travel. I really hope they look to integrate with Apple Watch! That would take this to the next level 🔥.Version: 2.6

Love the app!I have been using the app since January. I love the short strength classes although I modify some moves to fit my fitness level. I also love the outdoor running classes and have found them to be useful in improving my stamina. I have been running ASICS studio and Runkeeper together to keep track of my runs. The ASICS Studio trainers are encouraging and motivating-great app!.Version: 1.6

Great consistent routineThis app makes working out easy and consistent. Your selected program helps to meet your personal goals while the additional classes are great to fill in the rest of the week. I love the feature that allows you to see a video of the move so you can perform it correctly and safely. I also love that each program class includes a warmup and a cool down!.Version: 3.6.1

Best on your own workoutLove this! Very motivating & instructional. Wish you could go back and edit reviews of the workouts (for example I appreciate certain aspects of a workout after doing it a few times). All in all, thank you!.Version: 1.5

21 challengeAwesome work out for inside.Version: 3.6.1

Good appThis is one of several good audio workout apps available. This is important because aI am blind and visuals don’t help. I like the user interface, the variety of categories, and options to sort and filter. I just there were more individual workouts. Since this app is newer that might change though..Version: 2.10

Cheaper than workout classesCan’t afford to go to workout classes but I love the vibe of them. This is easier than trying to figure out home workouts. It shows you everything you need to know like how to do moves and stuff plus it gets you in THE ZONE.Version: 1.2

Gets me moving everydayI love the home workouts and curated programs! Thanks for keeping me strong ASICS studio 💪🏼 XxDani.Version: 3.6

Good app, but missing a key featureIs there a search bar somewhere in this app that I’m missing? I can’t find one anywhere on the app, and I don’t want to go through all of the workouts just to find one core or body weight workout. Other than that, it’s a really good app for all skill levels..Version: 3.6

JoyThis app is amazing. It has given me a plan and a purpose. I have throughly enjoyed the workouts. In just a weeks time I can see results and feel the workouts becoming easier to complete..Version: 3.2

Brilliant appThank.Version: 3.6.1

Best variety and pushI started using this when the pandemic hit. I don’t like long stretches of running, and most of the classes use an interval approach to running. The coaches know exactly when to put in verbal pushes! I’ve lost 10 pounds in 6 months using this app. The only thing that would make it better would be if when I click on a class, the app showed the dates I last used that class..Version: 3.7

Love this appPerfect app for when I either don’t have the time or energy to go to the gym or when I’m traveling. Still get in an awesome workout (100% better workout than if I was just trying to do something on my own) and so convenient. Next step is to try out these treadmill workouts while I’m actually at the gym..Version: 1.3

Good to break up treadmill boredomI’ve only used treadmill workouts. I’m in a trial period from Runkeeper so I don’t know what this will cost but it is a very good way to get through treadmill workouts. Upbeat instructors; lots of changes in hills and speed to break up the boredom and good music. Three suggestions to make it even better: 1. Allow the user to enter miles at the end for each treadmill workout so you can track improvement on the same workout over time (maybe tie to runkeeper account); 2. Provide some type of utility where the user can enter some data (previous race result, average mile pace, data from runkeeper activities, etc) and have the utility give some ideas as to what speeds 60%, 70%, etc might be- that’s frequently referenced by the instructor but I have no idea what my target is for those numbers; 3. Keep the tunes playing after the workout-I frequently want to workout longer than the set workout time and it would be nice if the music played until the user pressed “done” on the workout summary screen..Version: 1.11

Really good but needs some tweaks!App works really well, but it could use some tweaks that would make it even better. I like to watch shows or movies when I work out, so I like that you can disable the music and that it shows you what the next interval or step is. I don’t like that it still shows what you had completed and not the next several steps so you can be prepared for the next sprint or interval. It would be really helpful if when looking for a workout the summary of each workout and a incline and speed graph or summary was present. I also don’t like that the core/weight workouts assume that you know the “move” and that there is no summary of technique or video demonstrating what you should be doing. Overall, I really like the app. I like that they have some workouts that mix the cardio and core/strength workouts. I wish you could customize what you wanted to do for each workout and it would put something together for you..Version: 2.0

Cater for pregnancy plsHi, I love Ascis Studio and Runkeeper, but now I’m pregnant (18 week) I have to modify most exercises. If you can please cater for each trimester that would be great and add more benefits to your apps. With a disclaimer of course, to protect your self legally, but I was a perfectly fit and frequent runner prior to falling pregnant. Thanks Karen.H.Version: 3.7

Love itThis has kept me kept and motivated whilst in Covid. No gyms open so have been doing loads of these workouts. Keeps me motivated and their varied. Thanks to all the trainers your enthusiasm makes me keep going..Version: 3.6.1

This doesn’t only improve my fitness it also improves my self confidence!!I just turned 14 and I really needed someone to coach me and to go through this with me. I know she’s not even here but I could feel her their with me. I also know I’m really young but I really struggle with self confidence and her helping me write stuff and be positive truly helps. This class is truly going to improve my life in many ways!.Version: 2.11

Matching instruction to videoSome of the exercises explained are not the same as demonstrated on the video.Version: 3.6.1

A WinnerI came across this app while buying a pair of my favourite ASICS shoes. I already was a loyal member of another workout app which I used for about 2 years. But this is fantastic! So I have made the switch. I love the workouts and the trainers motivating you....It almost feels like I have my own personal trainer in the room or on my run with me! I am definitely a loyal fan and noticing some great changes in my strength and fitness levels. Great job guys! C’mon!!.Version: 3.6.1

Reconciled me with the treadmillThis app has managed to reconcile me with both the treadmill and shorter workouts. Instead of waiting until I have a full hour in front of me to go to the gym to then just coast through a workout, I can now use this app, even at home, even with just a yoga mat, even when I only have 15-20 minutes, and get a great workout in (with soreness the next day to prove to myself I don't work that hard on my own!). Love the instructors that help you stay engaged, love that you can use this anywhere, love the wide variety of workouts available, this is a really cool app all around..Version: 1.1

Fantastic quarantine workoutsLove this app! My partner and I use it to workout together while our gym is closed. Love the variety and simplicity of the workouts - they aren’t easy but they are fun and high-energy.Version: 3.6.1

Great workout app but could use improvementsThis app has made running on the dreadmill more enjoyable and also has improved my speed workouts. The music choices are great and instructors are very motivating. I also like that it gives you stretching options is you take the time to keep from getting injured. A few things that could be improved: - I wish the running workouts would automatically sync to Runkeeper so I didn’t have to remember to add them manually -There are no cool down periods on running workouts. This should be added. - 30 sec sprints on a treadmill is asking to get injured. These should be min 45 seconds to allow for ramp up and down - would like to be able to preview the workout before starting it, especially sprint workouts so you can plan for ramp up and down and also to plan for dress and equipment.Version: 3.8

One of the best fitness appThis is an amazing app.Version: 3.6.1

@ $10/month, you can find better free appsWhile the app is free, all of the workouts require a $10/month subscription, although it does give you a 7-day trial. The workouts are somewhat the same as those you can find online for free such as Men’s Health or Women’s Health..Version: 1.2.1

Perfect Time for New Years GoalsSuper excited to have found this app! Half the battle of going to the gym is what am I REALLY going to do once I get there...this app makes that decision easy for me with some awesome workouts!.Version: 1.2

This app got me to workoutI kept struggling with the motivation to go to the gym. Now with this app it doesn’t feel like a herd commitment and I actually love picking out my next workout towards the end of my work day before I go workout. The only thing is I wish it was easier to look up workouts based on the main part it worked out. Because someday I want more upper body and some days more core or lower. The app is amazing but just a suggestion..Version: 1.5

Super!I really like this app as it guides me through my workouts and I truly have no idea what I am doing. I do wish it had an Apple Watch version though as I don’t like to carry my phone at the gym or running..Version: 3.2

Like having a personal trainer at your finger tipsWhether you are new to working out or an everyday gym rat, this is a great app to push you and help reach your fitness goals. There are so many different workouts which allows me to use the app over and over again..Version: 1.1

Motivated workouts for home or gymI don’t love going to workout classes at the gym, but with this app I can have the quality and energy of a group workout but on my own terms in my house or on my own at the gym. All of the trainers are great and offer a ton of different options. Looking forward for more to come from this app and these trainers!.Version: 1.1

Love this app!Everything from weight lifting to treadmill workouts covered with this app. Love the trainers, they are motivational and sound like people I would workout with! Always keep pushing me and I'm so grateful I found this app!!.Version: 1.3

Super App!I love this app! I use it to supplement classes at the gym. The trainers are awesome—just the right amount of talking and always so encouraging! The work-outs are really easy to follow and the app itself is incredibly well designed! I got my family using this app too and they love it as well. Thanks, ASICS!.Version: 3.4.1

Really happy but a few tweaks maybe?Really happy with the app! The only drawback I have is that I used to love the My ASICS run app (which is no longer available) That app was free whereas now it has been taken over by Runkeeper which you have to pay for premium subscription, it seems at the moment the only way for me to have the benefit of the audio workouts with the ASICS Studio app and the running log quality of the Runkeeper app is to have 2 separate subscriptions which seems a bit unfair? If you could combine them both as one subscription (maybe a touch cheaper) I bet loads of people would be up for that then?.Version: 2.6

Fave app!!!I have been a Runkeeper fan for years and having this to integrate into running has been amazing!!! The trainers are all very motivational and I even have my kids working out with me. It’s amazing and would recommend to anyone.Version: 3.6.1

Could be even better!I’m currently on a Trial and I loved working out with both Erin and Ian. However, are we supposed to log this in manually or will there eventually be a way to integrate the workouts into Runkeeper or Apple Watch?.Version: 2.7.2

From fat fam to fit famTwo weeks using this app and I’m already seeing noticeable results! The workouts are perfect for when you’re in a time pinch and need to sneak a workout in at home. I am addicted and can’t wait to see more results. The videos in the app are so helpful when I’m not sure how to do an exercise and the trainers are entertaining & motivating. Highly recommend for anyone who wants an app that is easy to use both at home and at the gym. #fitfam.Version: 1.2.1

Pretty cool appI keep trying workout apps and being disappointed but this one was a pleasant surprise. There are a lot of different ones to choose from so I haven’t gotten bored yet. (Pro tip, there are free workouts available- you can try them first which is what I did before I decided to pay.) I love going to my live barre and bootcamp classes, but this is a good way to get an extra workout in when I don’t feel like paying $30 a pop. The workouts seem to be quick but pretty difficult. I definitely think it’s worth the $10 a month..Version: 1.7

Audio workouts are greatLove the audio workouts as once I know what the moves are I can just let someone walk me through the session, no fiddling with stopwatches no guessing where you are in a routine, no stopping to remember what to do next. Great when you are trying to maximise use of 30 mins. Just restarting to exercise/rebuild muscle from scratch after baby and shoulder operation so really pleased with the range of exercises and levels available.Version: 2.0

Videos not workingThe videos do not play for me. I don’t see a Help function either..Version: 3.8

Outdoor WorkoutsDefinitely need to incorporate statistics into the workouts. I have no way to tell if I’m on pace with the intervals I’m running or distance I’m covering unless I use another tracking device which is cumbersome at best. Otherwise I love the coaches in my ear guiding and motivating me thru the workout..Version: 1.11

21 day challengeI thought I was in pretty good shape, but this jump start challenge enlightened me that I needed to step it up and add to my running and cycling. Thanks for making it easy to do. Erin’s enthusiasm and good instructions, along with the videos, make it very doable! And fun! Can’t wait to keep it up with additional classes in this app..Version: 2.7.3

Great app butWhy can’t I download it on my iPad . It’s says that the app requires specific features not available on my iPad . Features like what exactly . My software is up to date on my iPad . My iPhone screen is too small for me to do the workout . I rather the iPad.Version: 3.6
