✓ Forced to subscribe and give birthdateCan’t an app just let you try it out before asking for your personal info and making you agree to subscribe? Also the font and colors make it almost impossible to read anything in the app. Cancelling is painful if you aren’t familiar with the process. I figured it out with an internet search..Version: 1.07

✓ It won’t let me create an accountHi, I was excited to try this app as I used your sustainabody app years ago. I am trying to create an account but when I go to click “Get Started” after putting my information in- a notification comes up saying “Error- Cancelled”. ✓ Great app with a few frustrationsThis app is much better and more beautiful than MyFitnessPal, but it's database is very lacking compared to MFP. Also there's no way to tell if you've had too much fat, protein or carbs for the day! Essential information to not waste money or if trying to gain muscle but not fat. Not sure why almost all the reviews are 5-star, it's certainly not as useful as many people are stating. Hopefully it gets better as the interface is very nice..Version: 1.02

✓ $60/yr!!!This app has a free 30-day trial but then a $60/yr cost! It is a very user-friendly, pretty, and easy-to-use app which I enjoyed, but this cost is astronomical for what it offers. I scanned several items which were not in their database so I had to enter the nutrients manually. What the big bucks are for is not apparent. I’m off to find something much cheaper! I’m experimenting with eaterpad right now..Version: 1.07
✓ Great conceptI’ve been wanting to track my nutrients and I was so excited about finding this ap. I used it for a day and just gave up. The database was lacking and I spent so much time manually inputting just to have the ap crash over and over again. I can’t invest that amount of time..Version: 1.07

✓ Put up with it for a year, butThis app has some great features but the recipes get all buggy if you go ack to edit them. Also the suggestion cards started to populate with no picture about 3 months ago. I updated but everything is the same. 60 bucks is a lot for a company that rarely does significant updates. ✓ Error At Sign-UpI have tried multiple times over the course of the past year to create an account for this app. However, I have never been able to do so. In each attempt, I receive a pop-up stating, “Error: Cancelled.” I have reached out to customer support multiple times and never received an answer or resolution. I would certainly like to give this a try because, from what I’ve read online it, it is one of the few nutrition apps that track vitamin & mineral intake. But, it’s kind of difficult to do that when a persistent “error,” won’t even get me past the sign up screen..Version: 1.0.8

Better micronutrient feedback than my fitness pal, however it would be nice to have values presented of micros rather than their perceived percentage obtained. ✓ Error CanceledI downloaded the app and even payed for my months subscription, but it won’t let me put in any personal information. I’ve gotten an error that just says “error canceled” every time I try. I’ve tried 2 different WiFi networks as well as my LTE data. ✓ Crashes OftenThis app has great potential. I love that it lets me see my total intake of macronutrients/micronutrients and provides suggestions for any that are lacking. However, there are some things that could make this app better. It pains me that sodium is not included in the minerals section in addition to not including unsaturated, polyunsaturated, and monounsaturated fats. It’s a real bummer the app cannot read data from Apple Health. Additionally, it often crashes when I try to create something that is not in the database after I scan it. When I scan a barcode, which is not in the database and I select create the app goes to the next screen then crashes. This is a real pain, especially today as I was creating a recipe with several items. It took me around an hour to input it because the app kept crashing. The preset times are a real bummer too as I do not eat at the times the app inputs the data. The data should be input to Apple Health when I enter it and I should be able to adjust the time accordingly if I choose to. Every meal I eat is showing up for 12:00 am daily. Finally, the support email does not work. I clicked on “Report” then my iPhone opened my email and I wrote a message and sent it to the email address that was already filled in only to get an email that my message was undeliverable..Version: 1.07

✓ Free version is lackingThis may be a good app if you pay for a subscription but the free app doesn’t come close to My Fitness Pal’s free version. This only tracks 2 vitamins, doesn’t track exercise, and is not as user friendly. My Fitness Pal syncs my exercise workouts recorded on my Apple Watch and inputs calories burned. It also gives info on over 15 vitamins and minerals. I really wanted to like this app because the developers are from the same city as I am and had a good write up in our local paper. I just find the constant ads and prompts to get the paid version too obtrusive..Version: 1.03
✓ Do not downloadUnfortunately I downloaded the app for the free trial, unaware that it would automatically renew and take £54.99 out of my bank account. The worse part is the email address provided doesn’t work, all I keep getting is bounce backs. No website links work and no contact telephone numbers. ✓ Quits during add foodSo I was very hopeful for this app. Looked promising. Says it’s free but it’s only a 30 free trial then it charges you annually. That is not made clear in the description. Ok. So I overlook that because I’m willing to give it a try. First thing I scan is a bag of mixed frozen veggies from Walmart. It’s not in the database. I don’t panic. ✓ DisappointingWith a recent Celiacs diagnosis I was excited to hear about this app. I paid for the annual subscription (not cheap at around $50) and even after that purchase many of the features in the app are showing locked even after deleting and reinstalling, logging out and back in multiple times. The app isn’t user friendly. I would suggest you stick with a free app like MyFitnessPal. More development is needed before anyone else wastes their money here.
