So the app works well it’s the service that then failsThe app works well and is simple and easy to use. Where it all falls down is the subsequent handling of orders. Unlike say Wetherspoons where app orders take priority over people at the bar or MacDonalds where drive through orders take priority over internal ones - at the Oystercatcher it seems to be the opposite!! The bar staff will eventually get round to dealing with app orders only when their is no-one at the bar. As such you end up going to the bar anyway to tell them you’ve ordered with the app and could they get a move on ....... rendering the app pointless!.Version: 1.9.1

Easy and quick. Great app.I used the Greene King app this evening for the first time. Easy to set up and use in our local. I’m always a bit worried an order will go through the first time I use an app like this but I didn’t need to worry. Food orders came through quickly and my beer was delivered to the table a minute or two after ordering. The barmaid said they prioritise app orders so there’s a reason to use it next time. The app is easy to navigate and add extras to food orders. The only downside is less face to face interaction with the lovely staff at the pub!.Version: 1.9.1

AmazingThis app is incredible!!! We can sit at the comfort of our table and not have to wait at a crowded bar to order food and drinks. You can order anything they sell from the vendor and there is no minimum spend. The waiting time is suggested at around 15 minutes but our drinks arrived in 3 minutes and food arrived within the 15 minutes. Just sit back in your chair, add your order, table number and the service will come to you..Version: 1.9.1

LunchHit the vegetarian Pulled Mushroom Chili along with some drinks. Food was delicious, drinks were good. Ordered and paid in the app. Food and drinks brought quickly. Great experience. Highly recommend..Version: 1.31.0

Why??????We have all had a laugh sitting out it has only taken >15 mins to register having to download the app name, address, email, phone number, blood group etc. Rather irritating since we scanned ourselves in at entrance. Once ordered device was great but what a farce to actually place our order. The only reason you got 1 stat was for the very efficient service once past all the paraphernalia of having to register on your app. Norman Davidson.Version: 1.10.1

Our visit to The Royal in Ross on WyeHad Sunday Lunch which was delicious as always, just a bit concerned about the service aspect though, asked to move tables as was given one near a window where the hot sun was streaming in on our dog, bear in mind it was 30 degrees today, asked for a bowl of water for him twice both requests took ages, eventually lovely Amber brought water which was gratefully received by our dog and we’d like to thank her very much for that, tried to give her a tip but said they were shared out so gave barman money to add to their jar, thanks again Amber, we’ll see you again xx.Version: 1.13.0

Midday family lunchThis experience was impressive in its efficiency. We booked a table a few days ago online. On arrival all the new systems were explained to us. Our table was well distanced from others. The waitresses with visors on did a competent and reassuring job guiding traffic and helping us get our meal just right. The food was generally good. Breaded mushrooms rather overdone, meats superb, and vegetables much better than they were just before lockdown. Excellent value for money, even at full price. An absolute steal with the government subsidy. We will definitely give it a go again next month. Thanks to all the hard working staff..Version: 1.10.0

DinnerArrived unannounced not really having a clue what to do, read a few signs, down loaded an app and at that exact moment saw a member of staff, who said she could fit us in at a table; amazing service throughout our time here, lovely food with a very wide ranging menu to suit all dietary requirements, we had the sharing platter starter and the fish grill main, all very well cooked and very tasty. Moved outside to sit in the cool air and ordered a drink through the online app I downloaded when I arrived, tried using PayPal as that was an option, but it didn’t work, but my first attempt using Applepay worked fine. Everything was super clean, super efficient, and we felt very COVID safe. Thank you, nice evening..Version: 1.12.0

Suggestion for the appI always visit your branches, mainly Lymewood and Primrose farm. The service is always brilliant and the food is pretty much spot on every single time. I have been enjoying coming here recently and the app has helped and it’s easily accessible and user friendly. However the only issue with the app is there isn’t a notes section so for instance if I wanted to order the nachos with guacamole I wouldn’t be able to get the nachos without unless I asked. Now that isn’t an issue asking a member of staff but it would be great to have it on the app and also the option to have the loaded chips as I haven’t been able to have them since Covid came about. Keep up the good work though and I will continue to eat at your locations..Version: 1.13.1

Miss WebbLast Monday went to the cotton wheel in Aylesbury with my granddaughter we ordered food and drinks the service was excellent the food was absolutely delicious. I would recommend this place all the time the staff are really friendly and got a lovely atmosphere in there will definitely be going back there also they have a really lovely man who works there called mick he never stopped once’s what a god send he is to that place xx.Version: 1.32.0

OrderIt took 45 minutes to order our food. The drinks were in different places in the menu which was confusing. My friend couldn’t order on her phone as she couldn’t see the drinks for what they were and the app kept crashing. The app doesn’t seem to be consistent across different phones. It would have been helpful to have our drinks order taken by a server before we had to navigate around the app..Version: 1.12.0

So easy to order food and drinksGiven that the table service was likely a result of Covid, I would actually hope this service remains even after all restrictions are lifted. Ordering food and drinks was so simple and definitely beats standing at a crowded bar waiting to get noticed. Both food and drink arrived promptly. Fancy extra’s? No problem just head back to app and order more. I also liked the fact I didn’t have to register my details and could order as a guest. Great app..Version: 1.13.0

Can’t request certain toppings be removed from the mealsUsed this app to book a table and order meals at my local hungry horse. Everything worked great, the only fault I can give this app is the fact there is no way to have certain ingredients removed from the food. for example having a burger with no tomato or mayo, the only way to have the burger without those ingredients is to go up to the bar and place the order there. If a function could be added that would allow people to request ingredients not be used in the meals it would make this app perfect..Version: 1.10.1

The Rose & Crown HerefordWe use the pub most Fridays, some Saturdays and Sunday’s. It’s a good atmosphere, staff are always helpful and friendly and have made us most welcome as regulars. The control measures and the monitoring as far as public houses go in my opinion are the best you could get out of any of the other pubs in Hereford and we tend to only stick the rose & crown and do not usually go elsewhere because feel it’s too unsafe too. Amazing value and COVID-ready!From the moment we arrived we felt at ease with the staff friendliness and cleanliness all round. All staff were in visors and we were shown to a table that had both hard and soft furnishings sprayed ready for us to use. The ordering system was easy to navigate and speedily delivered. Our whole party agreed that the food was delicious and they catered for our party of 6 varying in ages from 8 to 78 perfectly and with a smile! Our only problem is the kids want to come back and we leave Bournemouth tomorrow! A most definite thumbs up from us. Many thanks and well done!.Version: 1.10.0

Need to be able to give more options for drinksIt’s a great app, functional and easy to use. But it would be really useful to be able to state whether you want lemon/lime slice or not. I support adults with learning disabilities to go to the pub and we always have to wait for table service rather ordering from the app, because there is an option to ask for no ice but no option to ask for no slice. Seems odd to give an option to ask for one, but not the other. Please could this be considered in the next app update. This would do a lot to prevent stressful situations in the pub, when staff unwittingly bring a drink that has to go back, or having to wait for staff to come the table..Version: 1.12.0

Sunday lunch mealWe were a little apprehensive about the app to order the meal but it was very easy to install and simple to navigate through we loved it. The app also gave a discount on the meal which was a bonus. I had the double cheese burger which was very tasty but came with the tinniest amount of coleslaw less than a spoonful. My wife had jacket potato and beans again a small amount of beans which we mentioned to the waitress and was given a better portion. The food was lovely. The only downside was salad looked a little limp and dry. That said the staff are very helpful and friendly. We enjoyed it!.Version: 1.0

FeedbackApp works really work. I think it would be good to have a comments section before payment to comment about change of food to remove if not wanted such as salad or onions or mayo etc At the Mildenhall half moon the staff are lovely and helpful. The time here was only let down a little by the wasps around the area. I mentioned about the wasps and flies and they said they would take care of it. I’d like to visit again but perhaps not in the area I was seated.Version: 1.10.0

Great app!Being able to order and pay for food with this app is great and saves queueing at the bar and getting orders wrong. The menu is easy to order from and you can add preferences such as no ice in drinks etc. What makes it even better is that you can apply vouchers codes so that you can still use the new AA discount or others, which other chains don’t seem to have enabled and so I don’t use them. The only way it could be better is if you had the option to pay with a Greene King gift card. 👍🏻.Version: 1.9.1

Not impressed at all.Tried to buy food and drinks today at Braintree and it failed to work 4 times. I then tried using PayPal and that failed... Finally I tried direct debit and that failed!! Then I noticed PayPal had immediately paid money and refunded me... I checked my online banking and found I'd been stung 5 or 6 times for 20 quid! Okay it's going to get refunded but this could well and truly mess you up if you only have a single account!! The app should not take any money at all until it's confirmed the order! Mr ThomasHad to place food order using the app from my table. The app is a nightmare to use and very glitchy. Would not allow me to add lemonade to my gin, would not allow me to swap chips for jacket potato with my steak and having to create an account to just order food. After all that I seen people being served at the counter for drinks or if I wanted to pay cash. What is the point in going through all this when people at the bar anyway. Tried using table number on my table but did not exist! Later found out table is usually joined but still did not exist. All in all a terrible experience. First class and safe serviceAbsolutely one of the best service I've found / we didn't book but would advise to avoid disappointment. Friendly greeting and super safe and advise to download and order via app to save queuing. Very impressed and food was delicious and did the eat in to help out deal so the value was outstanding. Kensington Charity Day Milton KeynesManager Jackie Kerr - Fab lady her team are second to none - given the current situation we as a family feel 150 % safe - fully covered and confident in how she runs her pub ! - Today’s charity event has been a great and safe family event for a really good cause! We aren’t local but do know Jackie’s pub is clean safe and a good place as an adult visitor or my family / grandkids visiting - can’t fault it tbh! Kensington Pub in LoughtonIn these times of COVID, we were reluctant to eat out again. But after reading on the local Facebook chat page that the local pub was reopening again and they were only taking bookings to reserve a table to eat and drink we decided to give it a go. We wanted to stay local and support our local business. They could not have been more helpful. They put us at ease straight away. Okay but buggyI like that it easily searches e closest pubs. And allows you to order straight to your table. However it doesn’t always have all of the options showing on the app that the pub has. And worst of all, I added the option to filter food to vegetarian, which caused the app to not show anything at all. From then on it wouldn't allow me order anything to a table (it kept saying there were not any options and to reset my filters-I did many times 😠). In the end I had to delete the app and reinstall to bring back to option to order to a table..Version: 1.11.0
