Talisman, the magical quest game from Games Workshop, is a classic board game that has been enjoyed by fantasy fans for nearly 35 years. It’s a game of skilful decision-making based on dice and cards. There are 14 characters available, be it Warrior, Assassin, Thief or Wizard they are all unique in their strengths, weaknesses and special powers. To win the game race your opponents through a perilous realm, journeying to the heart of the land to find the Crown of Command.
Many of the expansions, true to the board game, are available with more yet to come.

✓ A classic at a great priceLove this game. Have a physical copy with multiple expansions. Multiplayer feature makes this game as replay-able as it is accessible. ✓ Faithful... for what that is worthTalisman Digital is a stylish port and includes (at requisite price premium) no end of their expansions. It’s still a little random as a game with limited meaningful choices. It’s pretty good as a rolling fantastic story though, so great for a certain mood. It’s also an opportunity for tinkerers and house rulers. One can reduce the randomness with the expansions. Still, I’d recommend slowly introducing expansions and even soloing the characters over using the AI lest the latter outplay you (or even cheat). With so many moving parts, the app is pretty smooth... but not infallible from the odd game freeze and the like. But it can be a lot of fun: from designing the board and rules (again, expansions) to falling over on an unfortunate dice roll..Version: 22.12

✗ Online functionality doesn’t workI paid $6 for the app only to find that you can’t switch between apps without being kicked out of your online game, which makes trying to play online games pretty pointless. ✗ Beyond FrustratedI am beyond frustrated with this company and what has been done with this game. I owed the base game and spent a lot of money on the expansions when they made a new update of the game and made me pay $5 AGAIN to keep playing the game. I then purchased Woodlands and Harbinger today to find out they accidently linked to another account i have to i cant even play them right now with all of the other expansions i spent a lot of money on (and after i now paid $10 for the game). I am never giving this company my money again at this point, This is such a terrible inconvenience..Version: 16.2
