✓ Super Fun GameThe Asmodee help center was wonderful in resolving the issue with my previous game content. Thanks so much! This Digital edition is awesome to have to play solo or with friends. If you never tried Talisman before you are in for a treat. This is a gem of a game. This game has unlimited replayability due to randomness of cards and richness of expansions. One of my favorite aspects of the game is the selection of characters. Picking a character and then developing their story as the game progresses is fun and also a challenge at times, but that is a very good thing. I usually play against two AIs. The artwork is amazing. Zooming in to see the details of the spaces and city shops adds to the characters story development. Background sounds are excellent. Using spells takes a little practice. I have all expansions and the ability to build a game with the expansions and characters adds to the ultimate replayability of this game. The city expansion is a must have if you are just starting out with the game. I have been playing Talisman since the second edition was introduced 30 years ago and this Digital edition is awesome. Can't wait for the Woodlands expansion. Very exciting..Version: 14

✓ Keeps crashingHaving been playing the full PC version this week online and having it keep crashing from network games I decided I’d play the app version on my iPad - not impressed that this version crashes randomly also. Hopefully these crashes will stop in both versions of the game as really do enjoy it - takes me back to the 80’s and my old box set. Still a great game - just some stability issues :-).Version: 22.1
✓ Had problem-Got fixed. Awesome game.I love this game, both the irl version and the digital one. The latest update, however, not so much. It erased nearly all of my expansions. I repurchased some before I contacted customer service, and they compensated me with some extra expansions, as well as restoring my purchases. ✓ New update now workingMy previous rating was based on the fact that the app would not load following the most recent update. I deleted the app, reinstalled: still nothing. Deleted again, waited a day, and we’re back in business. Head-scratching stuff. The app does a very nice job of representing the boardgame experience so, if you enjoy the physical game, you’ll enjoy this. Just be prepared for glitches and issues from time to time..Version: 19.6
✓ Great app. Maybe even better then the table top versionReally enjoy this app and I have most of the expansions. This is a great game. It can be a little swingy at times and there is a lot of randomness but it is just fun to level up your characters and collect items, followers and spells. This game gets a lot of play time from me and my wife so I appreciate the pass and play option. Keep up the good work! P.S - Twilight Imperium: Rex would be an amazing app port. ✓ Great app, great customer serviceThis is a fantastic port of a classic game. More to the point, with the recent update the app is fully managed by Nomad Digital and not Asmodee. The latest update caused me to lose the expansions I had purchased in-game. I sent a help ticket into Nomad Digital after their suggested recovery steps didn’t work. Their website said it could take up to 48 hours for a response, but I had my expansions back before the day was over. They showed great customer service and left me very happy. ✓ Was able to transfer from cpu to IPadI this on steam with all but the newest character (samurai). I was able to link my steam account and IPad accounts and have all my extras come across. So far the only difference is when I click to see my packs it has the option to buy the “season pass” (unlock all the stuff that I already have). So far no problems.Version: 12.15

I have been using the app version since it came out and was very excited to see that my purchases were to be available on steam as well. ✓ Great supportMy purchases did not transfer to the new version so I emailed Asmodee support. They responded promptly and followed up over the next few days to make sure my purchases were successfully restored. They were responsive and gracious in their replies and since they got back to me several times during the resolution process I never felt as if I’d been left hanging. ✓ I LOVE this gameA very well done translation. The recent Harbinger expansion is fantastic! Nomad is an excellent company to deal with! I had some hiccups porting my purchases to the new version, but they helped me resolve the problem within 24 hours! I have been dealing with them for years. They have gladly responded to feedback about everything. Their passion for this project is obvious. If you like Talisman in real life, then this is worth every penny! Probably the number one app most used on my phone. If you have never played Talisman, the tutorial mode covers everything! You will be a pro player in no time! It does a great job not just explaining the game, but also covering subtle intricacies that may go unnoticed by even experienced players!.Version: 29.14
✓ Faithful... for what that is worthTalisman Digital is a stylish port and includes (at requisite price premium) no end of their expansions. It’s still a little random as a game with limited meaningful choices. It’s pretty good as a rolling fantastic story though, so great for a certain mood. It’s also an opportunity for tinkerers and house rulers. One can reduce the randomness with the expansions. Still, I’d recommend slowly introducing expansions and even soloing the characters over using the AI lest the latter outplay you (or even cheat). With so many moving parts, the app is pretty smooth... but not infallible from the odd game freeze and the like. But it can be a lot of fun: from designing the board and rules (again, expansions) to falling over on an unfortunate dice roll..Version: 22.12

✓ It’s all fixed!!After the recent move to the Lite version of the app there were issues with syncing previous IAP items. Contacted the customer support who asked for a couple of log files, and hey presto the new update has fixed the issue. They’ve even put the old app version back on the store so people can down load this to help with moving the IAP’s over to the new digital accounts. Support was very helpful and got back to me pretty quick. All fixed and ready to get back to questing. Can’t recommend the app enough!.Version: 14

Still, you’d think if the developers were going to make you buy the base game a second time they’d at least optimize for iPhone X screens. ✓ Great but with caveatsThis is wonderful to play. It really is so much easier than getting the board out and all the small pieces, so in that regard it’s wonderful. Also I can play on my own instead of needing other players. And this is the full experience, not some mobile version. It’s the whole board game you remember and love. Great that they’ve taken the time to transfer it so faithfully. However, it’s really quite glitchy. Your magic and strength levels seem to dip now and then. Also, if I hop out of the online multiplayer, the AI takes over for me with no option to turn this off. The only way to “pause” the game is if everyone drops out. Lobbies are hit and miss, and we’ve never been able to set up an account as it keeps telling us our passwords aren’t complicated enough, even though they are. The problem is that if I lose connection for some reason, the AI just goes ahead and takes over, meaning that my strategies and objects are just used up as they see fit. By the time I reconnected, it had engaged in three battles, lost most of my gold, and inexplicably come back down from the inner region to the outer one. Why not give the remaining players some kind of option to hold on till I get back?? Anyway, it needs work. Until then, this is a great game, but with definite drawbacks.Version: 26.00

✓ Great reproduction of the originalI am always reluctant to purchase any app with a lot of MBs. But I do have the board games, the design of the game looked accurate, no one will play Talisman with me so I thought I’d take a chance. I was happy with my choice and even bought a few extras like the Grim Reaper expansion. After many plays this does feel much like the board game. I also purchased Origins not really knowing what exactly I’d get but was happy with that as well. I like the many scenarios available, and the extra boards around the corners are really cool, I need to look and see if those exist for the board game as well. My one and only complaint is the placement of the roll die. Perhaps this has been addressed in the last update. Sitting at the top middle of the screen it blocks part of the woods. If one of my move choices is to go the woods with a card on it, I’ll sometimes click it to see the card yet hit the die for a re-roll I didn’t want. It’s nearly impossible not to. So I would please ask the designers to place that die somewhere else where it doesn’t hover over game spots. Or make the top die dead to touch and keep the re-roll on the far right. When I’m down to one fate, as far away from the bottom game board as possible, losing my last fate this way is frustrating. But I am recommending to anyone who is a fan of the board game, you won’t be sorry..Version: 32.00
✓ Solution to not Restoring PurchasesYeah, I had that problem, too. Create an Asmodee account on the OLD version of Talisman (the one with your purchases). Then download the new version. ✓ It was good..(Updated all fixed)I had problems “restoring purchases" which makes me angry. I left a bad review. After accessing the original Talisman game on my PC (Steam) and logging in to my Amodee account it seems to have synced everything up. Now I have all my purchases on my iPad version to play on the go. I have Talisman on every device I own. I think you can only sync up to 2. Not sure though. ✓ Brilliant Engrossing FantasyI’ve never played the original printed board game version of Talisman but this app has captured the feel of that type of game really well with all the obvious advantages of a digital version. The tutorial sees you nicely on your way and the basic gameplay is easy to pick up. But if you get as hooked as I am you’ll want to explore combing the various expansion sets too. Each one changes the basic game in often quite significant ways. Each one adds another layer to the experience. You’ll find yourself thinking “Just one more go. Wonder what’ll happen if I use Woodlands with The Reaper!” Rather than needing skills that lie in nerve shredding, intense concentration they lie in tactical thinking and negating the randomness of dice throws that can devastate your character. That may sound a bit "dry" but it delivers plenty of tension/excitement when you’re adventuring your way through the beautifully designed game boards, characters, cards etc. There’s a HUGE amount of quality gameplay to explore here..Version: 20.16

✓ Good digital port !Nomad games did a good job to bring back this classic on digital. It’s nice to have this huge game in your pocket. The game is quite simple but fun and I like the good old fantasy depicted here. Plus, not dealing with a long physical setup is appreciated (you can face this problem with the physical version of the game depending on expansions you have) Side note : I had a problem with expansions I bought on the previous digital version (asmodee) : I can’t bring back them in this new digital edition. ✓ Awesome gameI love the complexity and endless replay-ability of this game. Hope you enjoy too, even when your character is turned into a slimy little toad for three turns! This truly is a unique game. First time players can use the pop-up mini tutorials to learn the rules as they play. Really great way to learn game mechanics. (I purchased Talisman for both my IPhone And IPad.) I just downloaded the new version onto my phone. (Should have done so when it was a free conversion like I did for my IPad, my mistake). I contacted them, and over the course of a couple of days they restored all my expansions and even gave me the rune stones as an apology. There are so many expansions that you can get which allow you to mix up the game in more ways than can be counted. Asmodee Digital Customer Service was incredible, they were very easy to work with to find a solution to the issue on missing DLC from my account.
