✓ Cthulhu glitch?Fun game, but I’m not a fan of the rare animals concept, I want them but I don’t want to start over completely again each time? Because it takes a while when you’re up to the ocean habitat and I’m not feeling redoing that. Also there seems to be a glitch with cthulhu I am currently on 515,943/500,000kg and I cannot level up I am stuck on level 3..Version: 1.1.11

✓ There is a lot of potential, BUTSo I put about an hour into the game, and its quite good; however, there is one major thing bogging it down: the selling feature. Selling in its concept is fine, but having to click every single time is not very fun, especially when you have 700+ of an animal and want to sell a good portion of them. I would go back to the game if there was a push-and-hold sell function, or something similar like a multi-sell. ✓ Great Game!!This game is a addicting game and you don’t even need to be online for your zoo to be progressing. It does lack a few minor details that could be added in a little update like visitors that walk around the zoo or more zoo habitats. My main problem though is that I’ve been trying to get in the game lately and it just crashes. I press on the game and it takes me to the loading screen and then it takes me into the game or it sends me back to my home screen. I don’t know if anyone else is experiencing this problem but a solution would be great so I can enjoy this excellent game..Version: 1.1.6
✓ Best Incremental GameThis is by far the most engaging incremental game I’ve come across. It takes time to get to the point when you are doing resets, and even then there is strategy to deciding whether to reset or stick it out until the next rank. The only downside that I’ve come across is the lack of data transfer. I played for about 1 week, was on my 10th reset and my phone battery failed. I had no way to transfer the data to my new phone and had to start over. Even with that frustration the game deserves the 5 star rating I gave. Great Job!.Version: 1.1.6

✓ Well designed and executed game from solo designer.I originally played this game in beta and came back to it recently. Unfortunately my original progress was lost because there is no cloud saving, a cost cutting feature that is understandable for a solo designer. The game takes all the best concepts from the idle clicker genre and is fun to play. There are a few p2w bundles and many, many ads for useful rewards. In fact the rewards are so strategically useful you'll not want to miss them, and even consider paying to remove ads, until you see the price of that (10GBP). It's good, but not that good! And that aptly illustrates the problem: the game deserves to be more widely marketed and played than it was. It's a better gaming experience than some company efforts I've seen that have A grade artwork on a C grade concept. But to make a decent return from a small playerbase the in-app options are unattractively priced..Version: 1.1.12

Great game to kill time and perhaps the curiosity of unlocking more animal species is another great reason to play this game! The animal graphics and illustrations are so cool and cute! Make you want to unlock the RARE animals! ✓ Fun but gets repetitive, time to add new features?I’ve been playing for months now and I enjoy it to pass the time when I have nothing else to do, checking in on my little zoo & how much money I’ve made. I now have unlocked all the special (“free” (buy with fossils)) animals, and all the species, and have unlocked nearly every animal achievement (2 to go). I enjoy when the challenges come but I’m at a point now I often end them early as I can’t get anymore badges or fossils. I’d like really some fresh new ideas added we can aim to unlock, more animals (fish, parrots, crabs, butterflies, capybara!), more habitats (maybe try by country! Would be cool to see some more Aussie and New Zealand animals, more from Asia and southern America too) (btw some habitats need to be reassessed; platypus’s don’t live in the outback (bushland streams), neither do meerkats (Savannah) or kiwis (bushland), and foxes don’t live in the jungle), would love to be able to unlock more special species, and maybe more statues, and more zoo improvements (what about swimming with whales, jungle river cruise, tree top rope course), and more rare animals. ✓ Pretty Good!I don’t think my earlier review gave it his game enough time! I really enjoy this game and do find myself coming back to it. I love the engaging pop ups to customise expansion and random facts! They’re awesome and really make me happy, but I wish the choices would reset on new zoos or perhaps every other zoo. It’s got some different and quite cool mechanics for an idle game. Selling bred animal stock or trading is cool! And, as with every game, there are different ways to play! I had originally marked that there was a lot of time spent waiting but if you chose your rare animals well the game speeds up so much that the buildings become somewhat worthless. I am not fully fond of the art style but it is very cutesy! I really wish the zoo had more life to it though! Lots of empty areas and the edges of the map and there’s no real life to the zoo! Adding guests or surrounding the zoo with a forest would be a huge plus to this game! Gems may initially feel useless, but play such a huge role in the game! They’re very key to rare animals and an awesome boost to helping a Challenge zoo run! However, a lot of the actual boosts tab boosts I feel are a bit overpriced. The only massive complaint are that yes, as other reviews have said... the in app purchases are too expensive because they’re not proportionate to the games current state. I will never pay £15 or even the ‘Special Offer’ price of £10 for a flying pig and that’s about it. At the moment I’d be happy to pay a special offer of £4.99 down from a normal price of ‘7.99’. Improve the lifelessness of the zoo and that’ll change. A note to the solo developer, very impressive work, you will actually find that you will make more earnings from the app with smaller IAP than the infrequent larger amounts, and it is safer as a company to rely on lots of little than a few big sources of investment..Version: 1.1.1
✓ Great, but missing small detailsThis game is a GREAT idle game, with a charming style and perfect music. There are just a couple of visual problems though... To start, the ‘visitors’ that you’re earning money off don’t even show up in your zoo! Are they invisible or something?! It’d be nice to have a couple of people walking around, with the amount of people that walk around increasing with the amount of visitors you’re getting. Also, when zooming out while the screen is near the sides of the zoo you can see a big green area of nothing...and I don’t mean an area of that nice grass texture, I mean a huge dark green block. Even replacing that with the grass texture would be fine...just please make it something. While I’m talking about zooming out, when zooming out too far the screen kinda glitches back and forth between zoom levels. I don’t know, you developers should look into that. Anyway, I hope this game continues to grow and develop. I give this game a 4/5. Overall it’s nearly perfect for an idle game!.Version: 1.1.6

Suggestion for additional habitats beyond savannah - aviary, dinopark, domesticated (dogs, cats, hamsters) alien. ✓ No Frustration, Cute, and EasyThis is an amazing game. I’ll admit that I had my doubts when first downloading it after seeing an ad. I thought everything in the ad seemed too good to be true, but it was all true. There’s no frustration in trying to build up your zoo (except for when I forgot I had otters that weren’t going to breed and they all died.... but that was my mistake. The game explained how everything worked and I was just being stupid right there XD). The animations are cute and it has a different style from other zoo games. ✓ It’s great so far but…The screen doesn’t fit my phone. The money counter is too high up and the notch in my iPhone 12 cuts it off so I can’t see exactly how much money I have. It’s really annoying. So I thought I would play on my iPad but there is no way to transfer progress between devices. Please fix these problems. Otherwise it’s a great game. And, it would be even better if you could have way more animals in the category, like. Second forest and a third forest. And so on. ✓ Great little idle gameThis has everything you want in an idle game including stuff to do if you want to sit on it for a while. Doesn’t slam you with ads but you can choose to watch them for rewards. (I love that in a freemium game.) All I want to give five stars is to see little visitors at my zoo! I’ve had this for ages on multiple phones and I always fall back, I even occasionally delete and start again just for the challenge HOWEVER on my IPhone XR as the screen shape is not fully square you have a chunk of the gameplay missing from the top meaning you can’t fully see the amount of money you have 😥 and also the buttons along the bottom of the screen are hard to press as they are as close to the edge of your phone as possible, not the developers fault, this is an IPhone issue, but means I can’t play as often as it gets a bit annoying the more money you earn as you can only see the first couple of digits - could definitely do with an option to slightly scale the zoom down..Version: v1.2.7

While it could have some added things like auto buy 5 animals per second or it could have auto sell or zoo managers that help you run the game and give you even more bonuses. ✓ Great animal collecting gameI am really enjoying this simple yet addictive animal collecting game with a variety of delightful animals that you can upgrade to very funky colourful versions that help earn you extra money. Each time you sell your zoo you can get shells to buy special rare creatures which are adorable and have some great perks, I hope this game continues to grow and that the creator makes more similar games, maybe one with all aquatic creatures and/or one with all domestic animals such as pets or farm animals this game is certainly worth downloading especially if you enjoy games such as Tap Tap Fish, Neko Atsume, Spoon Pets or Tabikaeru. I hope this game continues to get updates and I would love the possibility of exclusive creatures for limited time event celebrations such as Halloween, Christmas and Valentines Day. ✓ Something actually quite different...While this game follows a well formed genre it has something different.... real time playability. Most other games of this type need a lot of offline time to progress very far but with idle zoo you can actually play and build your idle game up real-time. ✓ WOWOk, honestly I did not think I would be here, writing such a positive review seeing as I’m a harsh critic. But despite all the tiny little things I would like to see happen in the game (eg. seeing the visitors walking around or a more customisable park), this game is nearly perfect. For starters, it’s actually idle- not like one of those money grabbing games, it is engaging and slightly realistic and most importantly, the developers talk back (Fuddsworth on reddit is great). ✓ Change the skinsBeen playing this game for a couple months now and pretty much did all I can do I think I like the fact you can use your gems to get rare or legendary animals but the thing I dislike is when you use your gems why don’t they change on the screen. I know if you want it as the default skin you will still get the bonus.
