✓ Too longwindedI was at Hilton garden inn Heathrow where there is a machine to buy tickets (note to the company, it’s not working) so had to download this app pronto as it appears the bus was also incapable of just taking a card payment! The app requires you to enter full account information even if you only want to ever use this once, you have to put so many details in and also upload a photo! I waited along with another customer for over an hour at the freezing cold bus stop and none of the buses were going to my hotel!! That was on the list, Not only that my ticket expired. ✓ Didn’t pick up !!Travel is stressful and when the 7.37 Hoppa bus didn’t pick up at the Ibis Heathrow Bath road , not impressed pre bought a ticket £13 and then had to get a taxi £21.50 otherwise we would have been late for our flight. I will be requesting a refund. This also happened 18 Months ago! From Heathrow to the hotel was ok but the driver didn’t know which hotel the Ibis Heathrow was. ✓ Don’t use this app and avoid the service if possible-take taxi!I bought a ticket in the app in the afternoon to use it that evening, and like one of the other reviewers it did disappear from the app. Through difficult process on the website (using my phone), I could trace the app. Activating worked but scanning didn’t as the scanner is above the NFC reader, which opened my wallet each time it came close. On top of it, the 5.43 am service (early so one takes a bus as late as possible), was more than 10 minutes to late ! It only had 4 passengers in so couldn’t be ‘the crowd’ that slowed it down. I contacted the customer service but never got a response, bad service on top of it. Therefore, avoid this expensive service, take a taxi (cheaper especially when travelling together!)..Mich-1973Version: 2.01

✓ Avoid the Heathrow Hotel Hoppa ServiceI experienced the terrible service offered by the Heathrow Hotel Hoppa Service over the last few days. Having arrived at Heathrow on the Heathrow Express in order to board a flight the following morning my hotel advised us to use the Hoppa service to get to the hotel. First problem was we could not find the right bus stop and were told different ones by different officials. Luckily we saw a Hoppa bus pull in but the driver said that this wasn’t the right bus for our hotel (Radisson Red). I asked him when the correct bus would come and he said I should look at the timetable. He drove off as I did and realised the service only runs once an hour and we would have to wait another 50 minutes. No thank you. We took a taxi to our hotel which was cheaper than the Hoppa bus would have been. Having bought a ticket in advance for the Hoppa on arrival at our hotel I asked what time the Hoppa would leave the next morning for an early flight. I was told 06.45 and it would take 15 minutes. Good I thought! Luckily we were up early the next morning and down in the lobby. At 0630 the Terminal 2/3 Hoppa bus rolled in. Hardly anyone on it and we left immediately. No waiting around to leave at the appointed time. Thank goodness we were there early. The bus then proceeded to stop at another 10 hotels and was filled to overflowing. Cases and people everywhere and when we got to the Premier Inn there was a queue of about 30 people wanting to get on. Other travelers on the bus started shouting to the driver that there was no way any more people could get on but somehow another six were fitted in. Goodness knows what happened to those left behind. We eventually got to Terminal 3 at 0730. Blood pressure was fit to burst and it was the worst possible start to the day. Let me say at this stage that the young lady driver was amazing. How she coped I just do not know. The moral of this story is that the Heathrow Hotel Hoppa Service is not fit for purpose in its present format. More buses are needed and a more frequent service. The hotels using it should be ashamed of themselves for supporting such a disastrous service. Most used to have their own buses employed directly by them so I expect using this Hoppa service is a cost cutting measure. Big mistake and reflects so badly on the hotels that use it. HeathrowHotel Hoppa Service - get your act together. Heathrow airport and the Hotels using it should take action against them as it is destroying the airport and the hotels’ reputation!!! ✓ Save your money, don’t use this serviceWaited over an hour for the shuttle bus to arrive and eventually had to take an Uber as we were going to miss the cut off to drop our luggage. Tried contacting the company several times about the issue (and a refund) and have had no response. The app essentially just lets you buy a ticket but gives you no info on schedules, where to go to catch the shuttle at each terminal etc. It also requires wifi even after you activate the ticket to access the QR code..Jhrm21Version: 4.01

✓ John AndrewsI used the Hoppa service at T3 Heathrow, on 29th November this year. I waited from 7am in the freezing cold, but no bus appeared checked the timetable which showed next bus at 0730am again bus did not appear temp at that time -1C . Another Hoppa out of service arrived, but driver was not helpful and said they run every hour not every 30mins and we were disturbing her break she was most put out in us asking her! We telephoned the customers service and was told a Hoppa would be there at 8am. To rub insult in, On the Hoppa the driver charged me for 3 tickets when I asked for 2 , this due to him taking my card and swiping it 3 times as it didn’t work for me! I told him he charged me for 3 and asked for a refund, he said he couldn’t do that and to contact customer services. Which I did by e mail, sending copy of receipts of the over charge. To date I have not heard from them despite sending a reminder for an update! Shocking service, poor communication, not impressed. Un helpful . I certainly wouldn’t recommend using this service.
