✓ Has some strange features but otherwise okSo, odd features: 1) it only processes when active on your screen 2) you usually have to wait a few seconds, sometimes minutes, for it to show you how much you really have available 3) if you send some of your money, the rest remains frozen until the transaction is completed. 4) don’t use the trade feature, I did but the funds got lost and there’s no customer services for the exchange they use. ✓ Stuck on starting syncI downloaded this last year and it’s been great.... when it works , which has been flawlessly until recently when it was stuck on starting sync, as it is now and nothing I did would get it to work, reconnect, change nodes even as far as reinstalling the app, all to no avail and then it suddenly started working again. It usually stops over the weekend then restarts weekdays bizarrely. There is no service status to check and I couldn’t find anywhere to get help. I am going to be using a different app if this continues. Please sort this out because I love the app otherwise.Version: 4.2.1

✓ Great, easy to use, monero walletI downloaded this wallet after using the myMonero web wallet. I wanted an easy to use, secure, lightweight wallet that didn’t require running a full node or having a large amount of technical expertise. Cake wallet is very easy to set up whether you’re creating a new wallet or importing an existing one. If you do important an existing wallet, the initial sync can take quite a while, but after that it’s very quick. Sending and receiving funds is a breeze and you can control the priority of your send transactions if you want to keep fees down. This is by far the most user-friendly monero wallet I’ve come across. There’s also a cool feature that allows you to connect the wallet to your own node, if you’re running one. I used this and it was very easy to set up. My only beef with the wallet is that you’re not given the option for a 6-digit pin, but that’s a fairly minor issue, since your probably shouldn't be storing large amounts of money on a mobile wallet anyway. Overall, Cake Wallet is a great mobile monero wallet for both technical and non technical users..Version: 2.1.4

✓ SolidUpdate: to those saying the nodes are down... try using a VPN that masks your location outside of the U.S. The nodes are not down they’re just being blocked apparently. Overall solid app. Takes a bit for the blockchain to sync when you haven’t opened the app for awhile but thats to be expected. Very similar to running the desktop Monero Wallet. ✓ Randomly resyncs all over againI like cake wallet, it does what you need. The only thing is, it randomly decides it’s forgotten all blocks - which of course haven’t changed so why? Then you have to keep your phone active and in the app for an hour or two before it gets everything again. I had some issues at first trying to figure out where my coins were, but then realized you need to wait for the wallet to sync fully before seeing your balance.
