✓ Lag and hitboxesI have no issues with ANY rythm games even if its somewhat unoriginal. as long as its fun, fair and NOT idiotic, i have no issues with it. However, this game broke 2 of the 3 rules i have in a rythm game which is fun and fairness. i've had issues with lagging ever since i started the game but i let it slide because it only happens for a short time during live shows and it only happens sometimes. granted, i cant get full combos because of it but its fine. But after the new update with the live show, it lags at EVERY live show i play and it lasts THROUGHOUT THE WHOLE SONG! because of that, i cant finish any live show without losing all of my health. i can understand losing at a game because im truly bad at it, but losing because of this is just unfair and takes the fun out of this game. my other issue is the small hit boxes that this game has and sometimes it wont even count it as a hit, but thats not the main issue i can deal with the small hit boxes. what i cant deal with is the lag. i dont know if its just my devices but this is ridiculous. please fix this if you can.Version: 1.14.1
✓ Overall kinda.. not goodI haven't really been interested in this franchise in the past, but I'd heard a lot about it so while looking for rhythm games this was one I settled on. I was sorely disappointed, however, to find out what an absolute terror the UI was. Gradient and bright-colored boxes with thin, stylized text and a nonintuitive and confusing layout made it borderline unplayable within the first five minutes. The game also made the decision to launch you directly into a story sequence that lasts way too long with characters I had no knowledge of talking about things I do not know nor really care about. Probably a fun nostalgia trip for people invested in the franchise, but not a great intro for those testing the waters. Finally, I get to the part I was looking forwards to most—the rhythm game. Even if the rest of the game wasn't my thing, maybe I could enjoy still enjoy tapping out some J-pop. I was horrified to learn half the song was obscured by the band characters loudly announcing their skills activating (something I figured out how to fix in the settings, which were relievingly understandable and had a lot of customization options, hence the two stars instead of one). Overall, it's just... kinda bad. At least my experience was. Not much actual gameplay, mostly just cute anime girls, which isn't bad, just not what I wanted..Version: 3.8.1

✓ Garbage pity systemI’ve been playing Bandori for years and honestly I regret spending money on this game, especially as of recently now that I have a job. The pity system on here is BEYOND ridiculous; doing up to 300 pulls to get the character you want is by far the worst thing Bandori could have ever implemented and once you finish getting through the beginner stage of Bandori, they give you barely anything to work with in order to farm for the characters you want. It costs $400+ CAD to get to 300 gacha stickers if you’re that unlucky. Four. Hundred. Freaking. Dollars. Imagine what that money could be getting you.. like it’s actually insane how Bandori gets away with having such a garbage pity system like this. I’m so baffled..Version: 5.10.0

✓ Birthday gachasUnlike project sekai, there’s still a higher possibility of rolling a card that’s not the birthday character. i’ve rolled over 89 times now and obtained over four 4 stars that’re not even any of the birthday character’s cards and i just find it annoyingly baffling. not even a single 3 star had been of that birthday character. i’m sure a lot of people would appreciate it if the birthday gachas are improved and more around the character’s birthday similar to prosekai, where the birthday gachas actually only consists of that character.Version: 6.1.2

✓ Lazy devsNot to mention that around 5 “Paid only” gacha is on every day, the devs for this game are extremely lazy. This game is only works for phones for certain sizes. Instead of adding some simple borders around the actual game resolution OR actually making the game work for all resolutions, they made it so the game stretches completely out of the actual game and not do anything to the actual game itself. Apparently they fixed this problem for Japanese version but do not care enough to fix for other regions. ✓ New update is awfulThe new display is frankly just bad. The new art style is so far from the vivid, bright art style that made Bandori stand out in the first place, it looks bland unoriginal. There are multiple bugs still in the game even after FOUR EXTRA DAYS OF MAINTENANCE, and players were barely given any compensation. Bugs include screens/conversations STILL appearing in Japanese, and some images looking squished or not adjusted properly. There are players who have been supporting this game for so long, and this is what we get. The dev team learned nothing from how people reacted to the update in the Japanese server, it’s disappointing that a beloved game has turned into a buggy, uninspired mess..Version: 7.0.0

✓ Uhhhhh it’s alright?I decided to try this game because i really enjoy playing project sekai/ hatsune miku: colorful stage and i wanted to try games under the same category, and i was aware of all the people calling it a project sekai ripoff, which it kinda is.. in my opinion, its wayyy to similar to project sekai in order for me to enjoy the game as something different. a lot of things in the game are basically the same as project sekai but some things are different but it’s basically a great value project sekai to me. the only thing i do like is the characters are pretty cool- lol. but other than that i don’t really enjoy the game and definitely prefer project sekai. and it also has less tap detection than project sekai and with the background with your five members i couldn’t see the notes very well, but maybe that’s just me- i don’t really know— it’s an alright game but i’m decided to delete it after playing it for a few hours. the only thing i’ll miss is my beloved Rinko. she’s just a precious character. the only thing i really like about this game is the characters, like the personalities and their character design, other than that i’m just gonna delete the game. i would recommend project sekai more than this but to people who wanna get into rhythm games it’s an ok game. eh i guess like a 5/10 3☆ thanks for reading ( ◠‿◠ ).Version: 6.1.2

✓ Consider onto making big changesOnce you have completed all of the songs you won't be able to get free stars anymore, after this you will have to eventually pay in certain amounts and you'd be able to get your desired grab, but this doesn't fairly often as can get duplicates and the occurrence of 3 star grabs. The efforts from earning free stars from the songs after getting it completed sometimes won't help get what you need for gachas, and it won't certainly be enough to realistically be encouraging enough either. Now moving onto events, events should be optimised to help players win at least 5,000 of paid stars for top winners, (or obtaining the free 4* ticket during live events) this should make more players feel safe and being able to get more experience, without the needs of peer pressure and feel the need of having to get bored of it. This won't certainly abuse the game but it should also help make a positive contribution. What happened to the band named glitter green? Will they ever show an appearence soon in the future too? I hope this game shall last, no game like this can ever be competed towards this type of style. I will also like to congratulate the creators for designing this game of creating anime characters to be less pervy and more focused on personalities, which makes an appropriate approach. Not all anime shows I can find consider to be this golden even just by seeing through this rhythm game! I hugely respect you..Version: 7.0.0

✓ Very Enjoyable, But Have Some Issues!First of all, I wanted to start off that this game was excellent! This was the fun game that only stands out in my iPad, so I really like it! The characters are lively, which is good, and the rhythm of so many songs makes me smile everyday!! Until one day... I am not hating on this game or anything, but what happen? When I came back from playing with other players online, I wanted to do a “VS Me” live. For some reason, it gave me a warning that I harassed a player during my live, and it gave me 10 seconds, until I can actually do it. I didn’t harass anybody in my live, which was pretty strange. That means that a random player reported me. Why? On the same day, the game started to load often, and my hits wouldn’t go through. It bring a huge impact on my score. Sometimes, when I would go into “Options”, it restart the game all over again? Oh yeah, another thing. I actually used to have an account on here already a long time ago. I lost it. Why? When I saved my data in the Game Center, and restarted the game for freshness because it was loading too much, iT lOsT mY dAtA fOr nO rEaSoN!1!!1!1 Again, I wasn’t trying to hate on this game, but please improve. ✓ One big issueLove the game, love the characters, the graphics, etc etc but one thing is basically ruining my experience of this game. The game will sometimes randomly stop registering my taps. For example, on hold notes, i’ll be in the middle of the note and suddenly it acts like i released the note and says “miss,” breaking my combo and taking away points. Or i tap a note and it simply doesnt register as a tap. Usually it’s in the area slightly to the right of the middle. It’s happened many times in a row and im positive i’m not moving my fingers at all when it happens, and im positive im tapping hard enough with single notes. Pretty sure it’s not an issue with my phone either because i play LLSIF and other rhythm games with no issue. I havent really seen anyone else with this problem but i hope you guys address it because not being able to get full combos or score well on songs due to a glitch is very discouraging and frustrating..Version: 1.11.2

You pretty much won’t get good cards/stuff if you have over 20k stars or over. I very much prefer the kawaii guitar themes instead of the current ones, I would rather think it would be much more playable and making it enjoyable for all of us. ✓ Would be better with lessI think a rhythm game’s objective should be to ensure that the actual game runs as smoothly as possible. After all, even a little lag will ruin an entire game. That’s the issue with this game, it’s filled with so much of these extra anime girl jpgs and voice lines that it takes up loads of unnecessary space while interfering with gameplay to the point where it lags. I personally couldn’t care less about any of these “stories” that you have to download and watch every time, and it bothers me that the game is filled with loading screens loading content I do not care about - which brings me to my next point, QoL. A restart option is found in many rhythm games because the developers are competent enough to realize that people will often practice a song many times to get it perfectly right. This game, however, forces you to go through 7 button clicks and 3 loading screens for something that could simply be done with a single tap in other games. I don’t understand why this is the case, since making this such a hassle won’t make people any more likely to pay premium currency to “continue” a failed run. Anyways, I’d give this game 5 stars for the music and gameplay but the minor problems are so ridiculously simple that there is no excuse as to why it hasn’t been fixed..Version: 3.6.3

✓ It's not great just O-TaeI have enjoyed the bang dream anime as well as other idol anime and figured I would try another mobile game after trying Love live School idol festival and tried another Bushiroad published title with music I like. Since day 1 there were frequent crashes even after turning the settings down. Then to add to it sometimes getting into a song takes 30 minutes to play some times because other people drop! Then there is the fact to really even do moderately well you NEED TO gacha. The beginning teams really are trash and even during events if you are not "decently set up" good luck performing well in the event! There was another problem... I was getting the "connection lost" error. Even trying the steps that are common and other methods I was still getting the error! Then today between connection lists and random fixes... I got in for a second... account was GONE! I did set a recovery pass (I always do incase Game Center doesn't back up or Something happens. Support never got back to me about the connection loss. I had to turn my computer into a hotspot to fix connection problems. Nothing else worked... I edited this review after the game began to work... ✓ It’s Alright.Hey there. I’ve been playing BanG Dream! since it released in the U.S. I had some fun playing, and the charts are actually really fun and the songs are fun as well. However things changed for me recently. Since this game works as a Gacha to summon a character, there’s quite a rare chance that they might not appear. And that’s exactly what happens. If you’re lucky, you may get it. Sometimes raising stars is a total waste of time. I was saved up to 4K stars and tried going for the 4 star Kaoru as quickly as it came out, and tried the 2K summon too. Nothing. I understand it’s random and all, but you can get really disappointed after you invest so much time in the game. The graphics are really beautiful and the game as a whole is fun to play. Another issue I’ve been having is that recently usernames are getting inappropriate by the day. Overall, this game was really fun to play but can get tedious when it comes to summoning a 4 star. I only have two 4 stars and they’re not even characters I like. (lol) I don’t purchase the stars since I don’t really spend it on Gachas, because what if you don’t get the person you want? I don’t play this game as often as I used to but I’m looking forward to trying it again one day. I would recommend it to rhythm game players out there, though. ✓ Unstable game and serverBeen playing since release on 2018. Lately the game just crashes a lot after playing live or even just browsing menus. It’s probably a memory leak or server issue. You lose your score and then you get blocked from accessing multi live through no fault of your own. Support staff not helpful and refuse to acknowledge issue. ✓ My Account is GONESo, I transferred data from the google play version to this iOS version. Decided that I didn’t like how it played on my iphone, and that I’d rather have it on my galaxy tablet. I go to open the app, and my account is gone. I’ve completely restarted with a new account. I WANT MY ACCOUNT BACK. And I wrote a review on the google play store, but I want the developers to see this, so I’m writing it here too. I’m redownloading this version, to see if I have any information here that I can transfer back to the ORIGINAL DEVICE THE ACCOUNT WAS ON. If this is what happens when you transfer data, it’s bad app design. You should be able to be logged into the same account on multiple devices. I don’t know enough information from my account to manually transfer with the support form either. It’s an extremely infuriating thing to have to deal with, especially since the app takes up so much data and takes forever to download. ✓ Gatcha is the worstI've had a memorable experience playing the game and have enjoyed it up to today, in which I realised that because there's 1 million downloads there's a Gatcha event on (where you can get different characters with different star rating), but the catch is you have to get 2500 stars, now I'd be fine with this cause as you progress you get more stars, buuuuut on this particular event they have to be paid stars.... You have to spend $39 to get a guaranteed 4 star character/s, not only is it insulting to the fanbase that helped get this game to 1 million downloads but also insulting to your wallet. ✓ Gotten worse over timeThe new “special” songs are terrible, the notes look ugly in every skin and the flicks don’t register half the time. You can’t even tell which flick is which when it goes by.
