✓ GlitchI like the game so far, but I have gotten two game ending glitches in 20 minutes. After I go to any menus during a match for like 10 seconds or more, my character will get stuck moving and soothing against a wall. I can’t control or move him after that. I have to quit out and try again, which annoys me as I like to reroll the shop every so often, son end up losing coins. Another tip is an option to click on an enemy to select them as your target. It is annoying and has gotten me killed that my character will shoot someone not even near me, vs a shotgun we in my face. Other than that, great game! I would advise you to add a couple more weapons, at at least some rare ones with unique properties..Version: 1.2.1

✓ Really ImpressiveI really like this game! The art style, the sound design, all of it works really well in the game’s favour. The game doesn’t drown you in ads, unless you want to gain extra coins or a free continue, but I believe that’s a fair trade. One criticism I do have is that the targetting of enemies seems to be rather finicky at times, due to a lack of control. It became frustrating in later levels when I wasn’t able to choose to target an enemy right beside me, and my character would get wailed on by them while they shot at someone across the screen. If there could be a way to make it so a player can actively choose to target a specific enemy, it’d make the game a lot less frustrating at later levels. Additionally, there was a small amount of slow down when multiple enemies were attacking on screen, though that is likely due to my older phone. Overall, I really like this game and I look forward to seeing how it develops in the future. It’s fun, it’s great for short bursts of gameplay like on a train or bus, but the aiming system could be improved; though again that’s only a small gripe..Version: 1.0.3

✓ AMAZING GAME!An hour into trigger Heroes, I’m in love with the game already. Their could be a couple things added but over all it’s a amazing game to pass time with. Different heroes and levels is the best part. Although some bosses are challenging it is worth the fight. Some feature I would like to have in game is an online multiplayer lobby where group up with 2-3 other people and fight big bosses, also I believe you shouldn’t have to restart the stage your in, instead replay the stage you died at. ✓ Good game needs workWhile its still fun there are a lot of problems that ruin the experience. A major problem is the controls, where you need to use one hand to not only move, but also shoot. This can cause problems. Another problem is that sometimes it doesn't target the enemy and i end up taking longer than normal to kill an enemy, and i cant kill them normally since it always refuses to shoot at that specific location. ✓ Great game few quirksVery good and fun game, I’m almost to the 5th world and I’ve only unlocked 3 characters And haven’t really upgraded them at all. Unless the developer plans on making more worlds in the future, it seems like upgrading isn’t really worth your time. Also I feel like the damage to health gained ration is off a little. Health packs could use a bit more of a boost. Other than that the game is great. Another little quirk I saw was with the armor piercing ability, they spelled ARNOR. ✓ Still needs some workThe game is fine so far, but it needs some tuning. The perks: Most just feel like they don’t do much. The only perk I notice more is the “slow monster bullets” perk. The Vampire perk isn’t worth taking because it literally drops your health and VERY RARELY does it heal, like about 1-3/50 monster kills will heal, and it doesn’t heal much at all. The Autoshoot: Feels very bad at the higher stages because you would be close to killing a monster and the autoshoot just picks another monster to shoot. I’ve had so many cases where I want to shoot a barrel but it just decides not to, instead it decides to shoot the barrel when I’m close to it..Version: 1.0.3

Sometimes you just can’t aim at the person you want to shoot. Progress can feel a little slow sometimes but there’s no premium currency or lives system or anything like that, and I appreciate it. ✓ Great Game needs some work thoThis game is so dope def worth it! I love it to death, but it's really difficult Ive been stuck at Level 7 for so long because I'm either getting destroyed by first set of guys because the blaster is terrible! I think you should after each section give a full health because I do sometimes make it to the final boss but I end up having like 20 hp and not to mention he does and all the characters take like 100 health a piece and im using the frog guy!! If there’s anything I’d suggest, it’s something that I’ve already seen mentioned before by several people: the inclusion of some sort of double joystick functionality. I really enjoy the gameplay of Trigger Heroes, but I feel like it would benefit greatly from some tweaking, particularly in regards to the movement. ✓ Good concept needs major improvements!I’m currently on world 7-1 and I cannot pass it to save my life. I’ve been upgrading constantly but the problem is that there is so many enemies in a tiny room there isn’t much things to get out of the situation until you get a better gun, which you won’t get till a room or two later. If your paying for the currency/micro transactions I think you’ll be fine but I’m not one to pay for that. There needs to be new versions of guns as well. Not just shotgun, laser, rifle, and pistol. Also when you “evolve” a character it would be cool if they changed there appearance not just slight buffs. Every boss practically has the same move sets which is boring after awhile. ✓ AmazingThis game is so fun and has me hooked. My device does lag a little around the machine gun enemies, but it’s not a big deal. The level design can feel very samey, which does ruin the exploration factor a lot, but the gameplay is still great with new enemies in each area and great bosses. Ads aren’t a big problem either. Very similar to enter the gungeon. Still a great rogue like. I have not beaten the game yet, but the frog looks like a cheat mode by his stats. If he is, he needs a small nerf. The dash move controls are a little finicky at times. Also, buff vampiric ability. The game can crash between areas, sending you back to the start of the area, which is why it is only 4 stars. ✓ ControlsThis game is really good. I’ve been waiting for it for a while because it reminds me of one of my favorite games Nuclear Throne. I like the style and a “run” type game but the only thing taking away is the controls. You can only aim if you keep your finger very still and barley move your finger. You can’t walk if you do this though. The game is difficult enough already but with the controls it’s almost impossible to make it to the first boss. I wish you could add two joysticks at the bottom of the screen. Or just vertically spit the screen in half where on half is movement and another is aim. ✓ Good gameThis game is a very fun and addictive game (really drains the battery though) however I would like to be able to have control of where I aim or shoot. It’s a bit annoying when I’m just roaming around trying to get to the next room with mobs and I’m just spraining aimlessly into the walls. I would also like to see some more guns other than just the laser, blaster, revolver, and shotgun. As well as being able to aim and shoot when I want I would think it be kinda cool if you also had ammo and had to pick up different kinds of ammo for the different guns. I think that you should also be able to have two guns. I would like to be able to drop abilities for new ones or level abilities up. Finally I think the game need some more abilities that should include something like killing mobs has the ability to restore hp, or something like killing mobs give the chance to drop guns (rare occasion) or ammo (if added). With that being said it’s still a fun past time and I enjoy the game just wish I didn’t drain my battery so quickly (15-30 minutes eats up majority of my battery life).Version: 1.2.1

✓ Love the game...Problem though. There has been quite a few times now that I have been making a really good run and then the game crashes out of nowhere, losing all of my progress. Also a few times now I will be making a good run and finish a level, only to be met by an ad that will just be a black screen and the only thing I can do is force close the app, again losing all my progress. Would be nice if there were a way to pick the game back up where you left off if the game is closed. I’m on iPhone 8 iOS 12.1. Unlike the other reviewers though, I think controls are fine and I’m really digging the game. ✓ Slow Improvement, and Devs that ListenSlam Update (4.5/5 Stars): I like the new character a lot. The idea of slamming into enemies is clever, and changes the pace of the game for the early levels. My problems with the control system still exist, but I’ve gotten better at using them. Joystick Update (4/5 Stars): The controls are the same, but now there is a joystick. You still have to run at enemies faces, or slowly walk toward them to shoot the correct one. None of the control problems I had with the game originally were fixed, but at least you have a stick to see how fast you will move now. I’m still not a fan of the single stick control scheme. Release Review (4/5 Stars): I’m a big fan of PC rougelikes, so I figured I would try this one out for IOS. It looked a lot like Nuclear Throne. Heck some of the larvae look like they were inspired by Nuclear throne. My biggest problem with the game is the controls. Within the first few minutes I could tell it was going to be a problem. Sure, you can play the game with one hand, but you lose any ability to aim your shots. So it becomes a game of run towards enemies to target them, but then back up so they don’t hit you. At that point is a game of being able to watch your surroundings, so when you target the wrong thing something else does not kill you. Overall, I think it is a cool rougelike for IOS that everyone should try. However, I can’t stand the controls, but it is the best we have for now other than games like Downwell..Version: 1.2.1
✓ Quality game.I'm a big fan of games similar to The Binding of Issac and Enter the Gungeon. This game is like those in some ways which I enjoy. I can see and understand some of the negative reviews about the controlls. Especially because I have a smaller screen so when two joysticks are done wrong it makes the game very difficult, but I didn't think it ruined my enjoyment. The ads are very minimal. ✓ Simple yet fun.Simple yet fun. But I wish there are some changes. I wish your character will shoot automatically, even standing still and walking back, not just while you’re walking toward the enemy. Right now if I want to shoot while keeping a distance, I basically have to keep tracing little circles with my thumb, which can get uncomfortable quickly. Maybe this is part of the intended built-in, artificial, difficulty of the game? I personally would like a twin-stick option for control. Difficulty ramps up fairly quickly. Enemies can cause quit a bit of damage, which out strips the rate you can level up because of the amount of the coin you can earn doesn’t seem to scale up enough. Maybe this is by design as well to make the game more grindy and encourage buying coins. Right now, you’ll have to clear a room with a basic blaster before you get a chance at getting a real weapon. Not a big deal early on, but a bit harder now when I start at level 4. If you really want to make it Rogue-like, it should start back at level 1. At least that way, you can clear previous levels again and earn some coins. I understand that the game just came out. But in the future, I would like to see more weapon types and more levels to the weapons. Doesn’t have to be as varied as Soul Knight, but more would be great. All in all, a good start..Version: 1.0.3

✓ Great but one flawThe game itself is rather fun, there are no split paths, but is made up by the randomly generated levels each run, so enemies remain fresh and doesn't get stale. I wish to know what abilities do In the shop, and the controls aren't the greatest, as aiming your weapon will make your character move in the same direction, you can minimize movement with very fine and pinpoint dragging of your finger, and your weapon automatically follows enemies. I love the unique designs of characters, as I have a special interest in anthro animal characters. Overall it's a great game and will receive the fifth star once the controls are fine tuned and the damage dealt by enemies is lowered a tad, or raise how much medkits heal you, the ratio for it is rather high and makes healing difficult unless rng blesses you with a shop with healing available..Version: 1.0.3

✓ Love the game!I love the game, it’s the sort of game where you can find yourself playing for hours without even realising it. The one bug I’ve found is that the teleport at the end of the level sometimes spawns outside of the area if standing near the entrance which is blocked off when entering a new area meaning you can’t complete the level. Bit saddening when you have a lvl 3 revolver and a couple of good perks but still worth playing the game non the less!.Version: 1.0.3

✓ Game freezes on black screen- please fixI really enjoy the game and all but while I'm going into the next level, the game freezes up on a black screen then I can't do anything about it. It's unfair because I can be doing really well with all my items and abilities but then I have to refresh the game and lose all my items. It's really frustrating too when it happens when the next level is the boss which now makes me have to do the world all over again. Also the one hand controls are also inconvenience as I'm trying to shoot at a fire barrel but end up getting myself hit just from trying to get closer or at an angle to shoot it. I am satisfied in general but there is one issue that keeps happening and it is the only thing that is making me stop playing (at least for the day) Sometimes in the shop in-game the ads make the game freeze like its outside the screen and nothing can be done besides closing the app and re opening it. In the mean time you lose your collected coins from battle and starting again the game brings you back with a simple blaster (which is really annoying taking the fact that it crashed when i had a 3 star rifle and the according upgrades in-game) Other that the buggy ads, this game is a 10/10.Version: 1.2.1

✓ Really fun, but needs a few adjustments.I really enjoy this game, I saw it in the app store for pre order, and I knew I was going to have fun when I played this. This game is as fun as I thought it was going to be, but I definitely think this game could use a few changes. For one, I think that you should be able to choose what level you get to start at. I didn’t purchase a new character, so as I progressed to each world, it got extremely hard for me, and I would find myself trying cheap strategies like hiding behind walls or dodging for what seemed to be forever in order to stay alive. When I finally died, I expected to start back at world 1-1. When I didn’t, I had no good weapon, and no power ups which helped me get to the world I was at, so I was constantly dropped into a level where I was underpowered. I also think some items in the shop need to have their descriptions like they do when you traverse between worlds. I sometimes don’t remember what a power up is, so I buy it thinking it would help me, but I never end up using it because I don’t like to use the revolver. (Also there’s a spelling mistake in the descriptions of one of the power ups, I don’t remember which one, but it says “Arnored” instead of “Armored”). This game is still very fun, and I will continue to play it. I hope to one day see these changes in the game, as I think it would make the game more enjoyable..Version: 1.0.3
✓ Good, with potential after some tweaksThe game is very solid, and after getting used to the single stick control scheme, it is fun to play. I still prefer a dual stick control scheme (maybe a future option). A couple things need to be improved to make it perfect, such as the nearly useless shotgun (the range is too short sure to the nature of the controls). The targeting system needs a bit of updating as well, specifically to have a higher priority on enemies, when I have 3 enemies shooting at me, I don't want to target a box or scenery. I like that there is continual progression, but it would be nice to be able to choose to stay back at 1-1, especially when trying a newly unlocked character. For example, trying to use Pine with 1 star on level 4-1 is nearly impossible... Lastly, the perks need descriptors in the store, not just between levels. With all this said, the game is excellent, and these are just recommendations to make it perfect!.Version: 1.0.3
✓ GREAT but…I honestly think this game is really sick. i kind of like the idea of the continuous gameplay through the levels until you die because it adds some challenge to completing a world. i do wish that you guys give us an option to get rid of a powerup we no longer want or need while playing, especially since you can only have a certain amount. Another thing that really bothers me is how hard it is to aim at specific targets(this also makes it really hard to shoot the red explosive tanks) since the character shoots at whoever it thinks is best to. Maybe you can add a fixed joystick too? it gets pretty annoying walking around and constantly having to re arrange where i have my finger on the screen. Lastly I believe that you guys should take another look at the damage the enemies deal. its pretty crazy getting hit by ONE bullet and taking -34 damage from it. it almost makes it impossible to get around the levels if it weren't for watching ads to revive yourself. ✓ Tight space problemThis game is fairly good and personally addicting to play, and it also doesn’t require wifi, which is the best part. But; the level design itself is.. random, sometime I spawn in a level with many tight space compact with thousands of enemies, which makes it easier to lose; ps I was exaggerating, but still. Please, I recommend you to update it soon and start making few little changes that’s actually vital to the customers satisfaction. This is all I can say right now, don’t make things worse. I had some issues at first seeing around my finger, but once you figure out that basically you can use anywhere as a joystick, and move your finger around the give the best vantage points, you overcome this issue.
