✓ Rating insistence.What a nuisances. After just a few minutes with the app, all it wanted was a rating. It just would not STOP ! This insistence on being rated is by design. Why not give a few days. I was so excited to see how my 3 1/2 son would do with the app , until ….. Ok. Enough said. I think the app may deserve a 5 but I think it’s reasonable to have more time. Just want to be fair to parents out there not to miss out on what could be a very nice , educational and fun app. We love our little ones ,beyond words ,that seeing them enjoy learning gives a sense of enormous satisfaction. ✓ Awesome app!My son and I don't need to be begged for a review after every game so you get a one star since interrupting us repeatedly is a bigger priority than just letting us have a functional game where we can CHOOSE to leave a review if we wish. ✓ No sound and no resolutionI had purchased the full version of this game for my daughter a few months ago. She absolutely loved it. One day when she went to play it, there was no sound coming from the app. Her other apps were working just fine with full sound. I tried all possible ways to try and fix it but I came to the conclusion it was on the apps end. I had reached out to the app support and they kept telling me it was basically my iPad and were giving me ways that I had already told them I’ve tried to get sound. After days of back and forth, I asked them to just refund my money since they would not fix their issue and then they told me to go to their website and write them, which I had done in the beginning. ✓ Free version better, paid version needs work.We had free version and my daughter loved it. Finally broke down and bought it for her. Really love having the whole alphabet but now it has a glitch where it will take her back to the train in the middle of working on a word or it will not spell out word when it is complete. And the paid version has way too many advanced words. It would be great if it had easy-medium-hard options to choose from. ✓ Wrong Pronunciations!The pronunciation of vowels are so wrong that I deleted the app so the children would not be confused! The graphics are darling, but REALLY? Why teach the wrong sounds! In response to my review, the developer wrote this: There are many ways to teach children. A team of specialists, including teachers, works on our applications. If you think the pronunciation is wrong, it just means that you are used to another system." I disagree with their answer, as phonics is not diverse in pronunciation.
