What I do have a problem with, however, is the intrusive and horrible full screen ads that pop up after every round. The only way to work around the fifteen second waiting time is to restart the app. I understand you can pay to remove ads, however £2.99 is a huge amount to pay for a game as simple as this. I will wait for a similar (knock off) game to be released with no ads if something is not done, as these ads do completely ruin the otherwise perfect and fun game. The game itself is brilliant. It has simple mechanics that are fun to master and you can really get in the zone and be rewarded for that. However, I was bummed to come back to it recently to discover it’s been revamped to produce as much as revenue as possible. There are more ads and they’re longer, multi-parted, and have been inserted into the continuous mode where there were none before. Now, the enjoyment of getting in a groove to see how far you can go is broken up by an obnoxious ad every 30 seconds, which completely ruins the point. ✓ Great game but.......The ads. As everyone else has said, these ads are overkill. It’s a free game so ads are expected, even when it was after your turn I understood, but now I can be in the middle of a game and it takes me straight into the app store and when I close the app store and unpaise the game it jumps me again into the app store. This happens about 6-8 times before I’m able to finish the game. When I’m finally back in it messes up the drift I was in. Easily a 5 star game if this bug didn’t mess with the game. ✓ FrustratedOk, so the game is really quite addictive, so much so I decided to pay up to lose the ads. However, to my dismay I still get ad choice ads across my screen and annoying little ads in the centre of the screen that if you’re not careful, you’ll end up tapping on as you go to tap to drift again. ✓ Rip offThis game is a glitch rip off. No problem turning my wifi off so no ad’s come up. Hit the no ad’s button by accident and when the confirm to purchase came up I hit cancel. The catch was it kept popping up. I hit cancel about ten times or more and it still wouldn’t let me exit. Then I went to hit the home button twice to close the game out and my finger print confirmed the purchase and I paid $5 Canadian for no ad’s when all you have to do is turn your wifi off when playing. ✓ Played three rounds and deleted.This game has everything you need for a successful game. Simple controls but still challenging. Little tasks like collecting money to improve variables like amount of gas, gas efficiency, etc. The reason I’m deleting this game is the same reason I’ve deleted other games recently. When you used to play a free game, it was expected there would be ads and I can’t blame a developer for doing this. Time and capital has gone into making a game and it’s acceptable to recoup expenses and even make a profit by way of ads. What ISNT acceptable, though I see it more and more with new games, there’s an advertisement after every round. The new/novice player, without any buffs, is going to have to sit through another ad every 15-20 seconds. That’s three plus ads a minute. ✓ Level Mode Is PointlessThe game is obviously repetitive, but it plays well once the ads are off. They just introduced the level mode and it has almost nothing to offer. Suddenly there is no block in the middle of the drift circle, there’s just another coin. If you do a perfect drift around the coin, you get no fuel boost. Getting all of the coins AND the middle coin on one pass is basically impossible so you’re left with no real way of finishing levels other than getting lucky by picking up a fuel container, but those power ups are random. How can you have a set level with random power ups? The power ups determine if you make it or not yet you still do zero drifting even if you do make it to the finish because you’re just wasting fuel if you try to circle drift. This new mode is entirely pointless and needs to be switched to just having a regular non-coin block in the middle of the drift circles and actually giving boosts for doing a perfect drift. Any other way is just silly..Version: 1.2.0
