Cannot exportPicked this up today because I wanted a simple meal tracking tool. Not useful as I cannot export to analyze what I’ve eaten and determine correlation to symptoms and mood. Data is only useful if it can be analyzed to find patterns.Version: 3.4.0

Hot mess of an app. Buy the real one.I’ve used this app twice for a FODMAP diet. IMO, after using this to eat with for 3 months, it’s more trouble than it’s worth. On the surface it seems helpful, but it’s missing crucial info to make it helpful to people living with this diet. 1) Data is disorganized, missing, or needs editing. Sometimes there are multiple similar entries for the same foods. Just look at the oatmeal section if you don’t believe me. Or “coconut milk with insulin”- whatever that is supposed to be. Lots of foods are missing, too- inulin, pectin, celery powder, grape juice concentrate, raisin juice, gooseberries, etc. 2) Only the low ranges of “safe” foods are listed and their FODMAP categories aren’t listed (like the “unsafe” foods). The problem is that you can stack “safe” foods of the same type and trigger a reaction by eating too many of that type at the same time. How much of a safe food is too much?? Which foods can be combined safely?? This app does not help with that. 3) Also, the high fodmap foods don’t have a safe amount listed. I don’t need 8 Oz of OJ to make a marinade, I need like a few spoonfuls. So how much OJ is a safe amount? Why is the low range not provided? Save yourself the trouble and cough up the $8..Version: 3.4.4

Not 100% reliableBeen using this app for months now. It’s mostly good but at times my husband would still have bad “IBS” days. We figured it was normal, you never know w IBS. However, today he had Brussel sprouts and a blueberry smoothie in in the morning which are on the app as low (Not even medium). Well, he had a crazy bad IBS episode. We follow this app like the Bible. Well I google blueberries and it states to be careful with the amount mostly in smoothies. And what about Brussel sprouts???? HIGH. They’re a High FodMap This is the whole purpose of this app. I’m disappointed that it’s “mostly” good but not 100% accurate. I recommend the Monash University app which is also called FODMAP. But make sure it’s the real one. It’s $8 dollars but it’s so worth it. Doesn’t seem to have erroneous information like this app. So sad but can’t afford to have these IBS nightmares. Now I wonder if those bad IBS episodes in the past were triggered by foods that are mistakenly labeled on this app. Very disappointing.Version: 3.2.4

Weird inconsistenciesI have the app set to flag only oligos, and butter beans have two identical entries that are listed as "low" and "high", respectively. The exact same thing can't be both "low" and "high" in oligos at the same time. This makes me skeptical of all the other food entries in this app..Version: 3.5.2

Why does the same food listed twice with different ratings?Downloaded the app and looked at broccoli (heads only) and it was listed twice with different ratings - one good, one bad. How can you know which one is right?.Version: 3.4.4

InaccurateDoesn’t match information in the official app. Useless..Version: 3.5.9

Good but could be betterHuge list of items but would like to see if a high or medium rating in an item is due to fructose, oligos, polyols or lactose (taping the item only gives you serving size). Also would like to be able to sort food lists from high to low..Version: 3.3.7

Can’t find Marscapone cheese ?Mm.Version: 3.3.7

Limited food list to checkI was surprised when I searched for some basic foods (pickles) let alone off the beaten path (Kim chi) and we not available to check. Perhaps an option to “add” foods would help solve some of that problem? You’d still have to look it up another way but at least you could save it on the app. Just a suggestion. ;).Version: 3.5.4

Fast but sorting is poorWould be better if the name was first and then type. For example - Peas sugar snap Peas snow Lettuce Roman Lettuce Rocket.Version: 3.4.1

Not badUseful app and I like that I can search certain foods quickly while I’m grocery shopping or out eating. However it does not have all the foods I eat in the app, and a lot of the time I’m standing in the isle on my phone googling ingredients in a product to see if they are low fodmap or not. Would like a greater selection..Version: 3.3.7

Problems with some foodsI really like this app but … there are so many foods listed that have either hi, medium or low FODMAP and when I try to click on it, it doesn’t open up for me. I cannot see serving size or what it is that makes it hi or medium. Please help. I am new to both Gluten-free AND Low FODMAP diets and I need all the help I can get. Also note: Soy Sauce is NOT gluten-free (made from wheat) so in my mind … it should be marked hi, not low as it is now. As a celiac, I have had to buy Tamari which is the gluten free form of soy sauce. I know that Monash U lists soy sauce as low but I don’t know where they are getting it from since in North America, it has wheat in it and is NOT gluten-free. This should be corrected..Version: 3.4.4

InaccurateFirstly, you can’t just scroll through a list. You have to search to see any foods. Secondly, information on foods is skimpy. Thirdly, DON’T go to the recipes. They contains all sorts of foods that are prohibited or limited on a FODMAP diet. They have been skimmed off sites for various conditions such as diabetes but are not specific for IBS sufferers. Additionally, the recipes are incomplete with missing ingredient lists, etc. There are better apps for FODMAP food lists around. I’m only being generous with the 2 stars due to this app being free..Version: 3.0.3

Why support piracy?Update: The app developer chided me for saying that they stole the data. Went into to say it's a factual information with no copyright. Utter BS. Factual information is what are Fodmap's and basic food Fodmap data. What you are showing is food data that are not factually available. Did you test these foods? Can you show proof? You can't coz you didn't test these foods. So don't BS. This app developer seem to have stolen data from different sources. This makes the data incomplete and confusing. Support research not data theft! Shame on you!..Version: 3.3.5

Google is betterNot sure why this app got so many good reviews. It is extremely limited and much of the data is incorrect. I do however like that you can tell what type of fodmap is in the product and whether it is high medium or low. Hopefully they do some major work on correcting the mistakes and inputting more data. Maybe allow users to click a feedback win the data is incorrect or missing?.Version: 3.4.4

Not accurate:(.Version: 3.3.7

Accurate butAccurate but not many foods listed..Version: 3.4.4

Two apps are necessaryI am a beginner at all this and using this app has been helpful but a lot of things aren’t listed so I purchased another app $12 and using both has worked much better.Version: 3.1.0

App keeps crashing!!!!!It was really helpful the first week I started to use it but now every time I try to open it on any device it shuts down and goes to my home screen :(.Version: 3.3.7

Doesn’t do the one key thingWhat this app really needs is to simply display all low fodmap foods in a single screen. When I’m shopping at the supermarket I dont want to have to search every single individual item… just display all the low fodmap foods so I can shop for those without looking everything up. Also … merge your lists so that they are complete… if you list “fruits” there are tons of missing items… e.g., in the “fruit” list, bananas are missing … but if you search “banana” you get a whole list of options. This app needs work..Version: 3.5.4

Only somewhat accurateMy husband is just starting his low FODMAP diet, and as we were looking through the dairy and cheese sections in this app, we found the info provided wasn’t completely accurate. Many of the foods listed in those sections are at least medium, if not high FODMAP. But the app states that they are low- medium. This is a problem for someone new to the diet who is especially sensitive to dairy products. I would recommend doing a google search if you’re in doubt of the advice given on this app just to be on the safe side. It is very user friendly otherwise and for that I would recommend. I may just pay the 7.99 for another FODMAP diet app that may be more accurate..Version: 3.3.7

Helpful! It will be a lot better if you’re able to change the measurement conversions to suit your preference eg. grams instead of ounces. Also it took me a couple of days to work out that if I clicked on the green button it shows the portions/size allowed to consume otherwise its non-fodmap, which is quite important especially in the early stages of elimination when you’re still learning. I do like the diary, that’s very clever..Version: 3.3.5

Email suddenly required, no ability to tap a star for review.I opened the app today only to be met with update requirements, including email address so I can be “notified” of updates and changes (?). Isn’t that what app updates is for? I don’t need anymore emails than I already get, thank you. Note, you can’t proceed past this point - email mandatory. I go to check the app and send a review- no option to tap a star above the review - it’s blank. I’ll be deleting this app, there are plenty other resources available. Something odd going on here..Version: 3.5.9

ConfusedI really don’t know if I should trust this app, reason being that when I look up an item many times it will be listed as both HIGH & LOW with both being the same serving size!!! How does this make any sense???.Version: 3.5.2

Residency status!?First time I used this app it asked me for my European residency status. Very weird. I was unable to do anything with the app, and also the keyboard doesn’t disappear so I’m unable to see any other options. Had to force quit the app..Version: 3.3.5

App is easy to use but I don’t trust the dataMaybe I missed it, but I don’t see where the data for this app comes from. Some of the ratings really don’t make sense, either. Like, oats are low but oat milk is high, while almonds are high but almond milk is low. (Why is the milk version the reverse of the food it’s made out of?) Also, almond butter is low. (Isn’t almond butter just really concentrated almonds?) Boiled red lentils are medium, but canned lentils are low. (Aren’t canned lentils just boiled lentils?).Version: 3.4.4

Confusing and contradictoryHow can broad Beans and baked beans be both LOW and HIGH?? Same for Lentils. And many others. No longer helpful as I cant really trust the app. Just go through the pain and make your own list instead..Version: 3.4.3
