✓ Great app but needs a save optionGreat app and the stories are worth buying and reading. The only let down is the lack of being able to save your game. Was hours into a story and accidentally clicked the wrong choice so I had to start again. This really lets down the whole experience if you make a mistake..Version: 3.2.9
✓ Honestly...To be completely honest, I love these games. I’ve always loved Text RPGs and the “choose your actions” aspect they bring. Choice of Games LLC has always been a pretty good creator of these types of games as well... The only issue I have, (and I completely and utterly feel I speak for everyone when I say this), is the fact that they honestly think that they can sell these games for the price that they do. It’s probably a big shocker to them, but none of the games that are made are nowhere near worth, or even written well enough to be worth $5 a pop, or even $2 a pop for some of the ones I’ve found. They are Text RPGs. I would completely understand if you had an option to “subscribe” for a few of MAYBE $10 (and that’s pushing it, I’d honestly say $5), and then the people who pay have access to the ENTIRE library of games/books that are made and written. Then again, if it’s really necessary to sell each game individually, then $1 a pop is exactly what ANY Text RPG is actually worth. MAYBE $2, but that’s at the very most, if it’s a really good one. I promise you, change your prices accordingly and you will see a spike in your sales unmatched by any sales spike you’ve ever experienced. ✓ Thematically hollowI’m torn on Choice of Games. After a while, no matter how diverse, their games start to feel the same. They also charge the same premium price for rough-shod edited works as they do their “professional” releases. And I think they do their writers/readers a disservice by requiring all stories to check so many boxes. I think that writing for queer, enbie, or straight, etc., constitute different themes, and trying to accommodate for all of them often leaves a rushed, hollow feeling. Economically, I know why they do it, but anymore I don’t gel with any of the characters because they are written to be as broadly interpreted as possible..Version: 3.3.8

✓ Browsing games in a web browser is way more convenientI love the app as it’s great for keeping track of ur library of games all in one place, but browsing games is pretty tedious and exhausting in it. u have to click on each individual title, then scroll and then and then expand the “read more” so be able to find out if i’d be interested in a particular title. it’s not like u can even do it in a quick manner bc u can’t return to the previous screen by swiping or something, u have to reach back up to the top of the screen to go back and then repeat. viewing the games on a browser (even mobile like safari) is soooo much more convenient as it has the title, image, and a summary blurb so u can easily determine if a story is interesting to u or not. i find myself using the website to discover and try games i’m interested in, then i jot down the title of the game so that ill remember to search it on the app later just so i can have all my purchases in one place..Version: 1.11.4
✓ Great content, terrible storeThis is a storefront for great choose your own adventures, but one that makes it next to impossible to identify what content is worth your time. You cannot rate a game until you finish it, which biases every game to the upper end of the rating scale, with almost everything being between 4.6 and 4.8, a scale so compressed as to be worthless. You can’t even change your ratings for games you rated without replaying them, even as your experience broadens. There are also no written reviews. The only way to get useful information is to check out the steam pages of games you’re interested in, which are much more helpful. It’s also terrible for managing your collection, with no way to group titles by series, or even in order..Version: 3.7.5

✓ Useful when you have an account, not so much when only purchased on phoneHuge fan, have tons of stories from the main catalog and the Hosted. Is there any way to link your app purchases with your Choice Of account? I had to reinstall every app to link it with this app, but then if you hit the easy to hit Sign Out button, it all seemed to revert. Signing back in fixed it but it’s not on the actual Choice of account. Just looks st what you connected with your phone itself. Is there any way to link our full catalog of owned games together?.Version: 1.2.3
✓ Adore the app!First off, I absolutely adore this app and have spent many a night eagerly reading page after page. Though, I do feel the app could benefit from more stories that cater to a mature audience, for example on the choices app ‘Werewolves: Haven Rising’ which seemed to thread an equal amount of mature themes into one storyline, and for another example, on your ‘hosted games’ app, the ‘Samurai Of Hyuga’ was so well written I was literally glued to my phone. I feel as an older user, the hosted games held more appeal to me, and I can only put this down to the stories being more gritty and unabashed. It feels as though Choice of Games is a little more tentative around these areas, which I understand as it’s a mixed audience, but that’s the only thing I felt was missing..Version: 2.0.1

✓ I don't mind all games in one appBut the prices seem to get higher and higher and in a lot of games, your choices don't really matter significantly. I don't like the rating system. I want written reviews. You can't find a good match for you based on a star rating. It used to help a lot finding games you might like based on written reviews before all the games were combined into one app. The prices for the games and not being able to read reviews makes me less likely to purchase anything new now unless it's a new game from an author I already like..Version: 3.1.5
✓ Love the Stories, the App Needs WorkLove that they’ve made a platform for what was once standalone apps but my experience with it has been pretty janky. The app bars and bottom bars are illegible / have broken backgrounds, some elements don’t load correctly in the app views. Could really stand to have a usability / accessibility audit done because it is way out of compliance for the latter. ✓ Constant Insults?As I use the app an audio clip keeps playing over and over every three seconds. Shouting: Hah, loser! It is deeply strange. A glitch? A virus? Who knows. Only in the app, it cuts out if I leave..Version: 3.0.4
✓ Just get the games separatelyI really don’t like this app. The games themselves are absolutely brilliant and well worth paying for, but this app does not work very well at all. When they first created this app a few years back I installed it and almost immediately uninstalled it. It was hard to use, unintuitive and didn’t add anything to the experience. It also didn’t recognise any of the games I had purchased previously. I re-downloaded it a few months back to play a particular game which only seemed to be available in this app, and it worked better, I didn’t have any problems. I have now installed the ‘update’ today, and I can’t see any games at all. None whatsoever, not even the one I was halfway through playing. Additionally the app is unresponsive, it’s not clear how it’s supposed to function (might be a side effect of not having any games visible!) and it’s very frustrating. I personally would much rather just install each individual game when I want to play it, rather than be forced to use a centralised app which doesn’t work. The games really are excellent, which is why this review has two stars, but this particular app lets the games down. Seriously, just go and buy the games on their own..Version: 1.5.2
✓ Great app, but ads feel redundantI love this game, and I understand the ads bring in needed revenue, but since the last time I played, there seem to be more ads than before. This is because, when I finish a chapter of a story, there is a 2 hour timer to play more. I close the story and wait, and when I come back, I have to play an ad to open the story again. Then, once the story is open, I have to watch ANOTHER ad to open the next chapter. Two in a row feels redundant. If they were just when I opened the story or between chapters I’d understand, although having them when I open a story is annoying if I accidentally click out of a story and have to watch an ad to go back into it. Lastly, one of the ads that played was horrible and disturbing, depicting a cartoon woman cornered in an alleyway and the legs of the man cornering her as he dropped his pants. It then showed the woman pregnant. It’s clear that was one of those cheap games that uses shock value to peddle their puzzle game and doesn’t actually have that content in it (I looked at the reviews for THAT app) but I wish y’all could perhaps screen the kind of ads you show, or perhaps report one, as there was no way to do that..Version: 3.5.1

✓ ReviewsI wish I could see reviews on specific stories in the app. I like knowing whether the story will end abruptly or not or wether the game has good replay-ability. I’m glad I don’t have to repurchase my games and they are all condensed into one app but am unsure about purchasing anymore games, it’s already hard enough to simply trust the developer who wants you to buy their game. And it’s not the star rating I’m looking for it’s specifically the review. Most of the new games that come out of choice of games titles seem to be adding random chance to their stories in order to extend replay-ability and you don’t really realize that until your second play through..Version: 3.2.1
✓ Great stories, but aggravating glitchFirst off let me state; they have amazing stories with multiple outcomes that lead to some serious thought provocation. I have thoroughly enjoyed many of the stories my favorite being the the Choice of Magics or Sword of the Slayer. Not to my issue, sometimes while reading I run into an error the won’t let me continue no matter what I do. I have the up to date app version and have restarted the stories, but nothing helps. The error always happens in the same spots within the stories. If the Devs read this a fix would be much appreciated....Version: 2.0.1
✓ Not happy at all!When I downloaded this app it didn’t recognise my old account, so i had to make another one. Also the app always crashes. But this is the worst bit. I decided to play choice of romance, and even though I’ve payed to unlock all the features in the choice of romance app, this app wants me to buy them all over again. The same thing happened when I tried to play Psy High. I wish you could separate game apps like you used too as well as this one..Version: 1.0.5
✓ UnhappyI once was a big fan of Choice of games and even recommend it to friends and family but it's seems that prices are going up. ✓ Not idealIt’s great to have some titles in one app so they aren’t scattered on my phone, but this app doesn’t recognise past individual purchases. It also has longer loading times then when the app the stand alone apps and crashes happen more often. Silverworld crashed twice and it forced me to start from the beginning..Version: 1.0.3
✓ Scammed out of my moneyUntil recently I loved this account. The concept of being able to choose the ending of the story was an amazing idea. I have no problems with any of the stories on this app. But a couple of days ago I was playing a book that said it would take $7.99 to continue the game. Now as I live in England I payed in £, but I payed £9.99. I don’t normally deal in dollars so I assumed this was the normal exchange rate. Today though, one of my friends kindly informed me that $7.99 is in fact £5.66. I will keep the app but I certainly will be checking the price before I buy and I hope everyone else will too..Version: 3.2.1

If you need money, you could put more ads in the game, maybe every 5/10 minutes or so you could show an ad, or maybe have an ad as an option to boost some of your ‘stats’. ✓ Revolution DiaboliqueHonestly well-intentioned crap. The character creation system starts out strong, and begins to derail. The magic system is not well understood, The Demons lack personality and the magic system doesn’t have any to easy to follow methodology it seems to be roughly thrown together and the character is just assumed to have knowledge is at the whim of a hat. The history is well-researched,And the writing is of decent quality. But there is an irritating vagueness that tends to permeate and pervade the meta plot, and there is no concrete system for improvement it seems like a loose comic book concept that has been stapled onto the badly written first edition of a role-playing game, Half-heartedly stapled together. ✓ Something fishyThe stories that where written in this app was amazing, they are even nice enough for use to try a sample. I was buying the full version of the wolves:haven but then, when I try to purchase it the price that was displayed $5.69, jumped up to $8.85 If it I want to buy it. But I didn’t mind about it cause I had enough still. But once the purchase was completed, I got a insufficient fund pop up. Like the money was not enough. If it is a bug pls fix it.
