✓ Sells InsuranceAs a tech enthusiast i download this app as there were a lot of odd buzz words being thrown around and some scare tactics in the app store listing. After a brief exploration through the app and some research into the company i haven't found any worthwhile value for users. As you can see on Crunchbase, this company wants to collect data on you to sell 3rd party insurance. Whilst I hope Bloom is working towards improving this, I’m currently very unhappy with the scare tactics and misleading businesses model. ✓ Don’t waste your time with this app, random quirks, doesn’t workTwo of us on vacation wanted to rent bikes and could only rent them thru Bloom app. We each have two cell phones and only got one bike to unlock trying all 4 phones. My app would say malicious virus attacking my phone when I opened it which probably is try or the Bloom app trying to trick me into buying their software that I don’t need. This app kept having an error message and doesn’t clearly guide you through the process. I think it should be dumped and not reworked. My girlfriends phone won’t do any map searches after loading this app. We wasted about 40 minutes and ended up walking in the hot sun. We called the number for the bike company and he never returned our call..Version: 2.6

✓ Initially SuspiciousI use all my mail addresses and for some reason when I try to verify my accounts via Mobile I get stuck with a retry button and the bloom logo. What's worse is that when I created an account via web and a new gmail account it worked but the mobile app showed nothing but the first card... ether this is a major scam or its just a bug. When I try to register a new account, it tells me the email address is already taken. When I request to reset my password, I never receive a password reset email. In the app, I keep getting a message saying “Could not find user with ethAddress…” Now I’m concerned that this company has my personal information, and I have no way to access it. ✓ App Nice. Dodgy company.Well designed app. Of little practical use so I asked for data deletion. Turns out this is an arcane and tortuous process without email verification despite several requests. App is either a good idea without traction and desperate staff or a data harvesting app hoping to sell or use your data.
