✓ This game is awful.I actually play guitar, this game is nowhere near anything like it. They may as well call it an arcade game. Tap tap revenge was far more playable, this game can’t even get a rhythm right. It’s so far off from being anything enjoyable that I wouldn’t even recommend giving it a shot. What’s more none of the available songs are anything someone with a guitar would actually play apart from house of the rising sun, which was frustratingly off of enjoyable. ✓ Don’t botherNormally I enjoy these sorts of apps but for starters it tries forcing you to sign up for a trial. I closed the app and reopened so it went away. Then when playing the songs the taps did not line up at all, seemed off. Normally I can do difficult songs on other apps however with this app I tried several songs and the tap was just completely out of did not register. ✓ House of New OrleansTell people how small notes power up the strum the timing with a sound ping a timing distance is cover for thumb but light needs to travel upward on chord either blue or red. Up is sideways but slide down on chord line at a angle so you get past the barrier.Version: 1.13.0
✓ Can’t play unless you sign up for trialWas really excited to play this just to find out as soon as I turn on the game that I have to sign up for a 7 day trial. WARNING do not do this. The second you want to cancel the trial on any of these games you end up still being charged and you have to fight to not only get it cancelled, but you have to fight to get your money back. ✓ Not the bestFirstly, am I the only one getting the impression that all the good reviews are fake just so the app can outweigh the bad reviews? I mean seriously, the guitar sounds like one of those interactive fisher price books with the buttons on the side. The strumming is really bad and untimely, and the song options are preettyyy minimal. Besides all that, the only thing I can say I do sort of like is the solo mode where you can play random notes and just create a song, or see if you can get the notes of an existing song. ✓ A left hand option is neededThe concept of the game is good ( although nothing beats the original Guitar Hero in my opinion) however as a left handed player its virtually impossible to play with any precision. ✓ Locked behind subscriptionI’ve read sooo many reviews on this app, all of them saying that the app is essentially locked behind a subscription. The developer response was always the same for every review... simply close the banner and you can play the game for free. There is one big issue with this. There is NO WAY to close the subscription banner. I looked for a way to close the subscription banner for a good 2-3 minutes(which is more than fair, given that opting out of a subscription should have an OBVIOUS decline option) but there was no way to decline. Don’t believe the developer responses, there is no way to play this game for free. You HAVE to pay what is, in my opinion, an absolutely ridiculous price every single week just to play. I’m also going to gamble that the developer response given underneath my review is some form of explanation saying that there IS in fact a way to close the banner(there isn’t), and that if I want to I can always cancel my subscription(there is, but that’s beside the point.).Version: 1.12.0
