✓ PoorI installed this game because of the adverts it sent out and it looked fun but when I actually got round to playing it, it turned out I needed to get onto higher levels to get that certain feature. I found that incredibly rude that they would advertise something that isn’t actually the game..Version: 1.9.7
✓ Terrible ethics for kidsI thought the game itself was good but I thought it was absolutely disgusting how they made you have to hit a bowling ball on your bosses head to move to the next levels. ✓ Quickly loses its shine + obnoxious adsThe concept isn’t bad, but doesn’t go anywhere. 40 levels in, each level requires a few seconds of thought, and usually it’s an identical solution to the last, one straight line. Rather than increasing the difficulty, all that increases is the number of adverts you have to avoid and click through. Every single level forces you to click a small x to close a full screen advert, and then deal with icons flashing for you to get coins in return for watching more adverts. ✓ Makes you get BAD AnxietyOMG. This game is so so so annoying. I really hate the way there are SO MANY ADDS and they are the same one EVERY TIME. Like this game has wasted my two hours screen time and charge. Don’t play if your on a bus or train because you won’t be able to call people or anything. Oh and all the annoying adds COMPLETELY WASTE ALL YOUR BATTERY!! Its really annoying. So, if you don’t want to look for a charger every five minutes then easy, just don’t play this game. ✓ Annoying.I enjoy the puzzle aspect. I find the adverts after every game annoying, but understandable. But what I find Really aggravating, and will be uninstalling the game after writing this review, is the constant getting kicked out of the game just as I successfully manage to complete a particularly difficult game, and then having to redo it when I log back in. Also annoying is trying to go back over games in order to pick up additional stars in order to progress to the next chapter- and even completing a chosen game first time, no additional stars are given, and you are then forced onto completing the sequence of games again until you once again hit the "not enough stars to progress to the next chapter" message. ✓ Hello 2/5 Stars: Aggravating and Boring Sandbox PuzzlerThe beginning puzzles are really easy, but later in the game you start encountering levels that are just plain annoying. Now I enjoy a challenging puzzle, but it becomes very frustrating to me when the solution is so ambiguous. No only are there multiple ways to the same goal --some more effective than others-- but many times you are getting the puzzle "right" but are unable to complete it because your drawing was just a little off. This game is also chock-full of ads, and has a second part of the game that resembles cookie clicker in its mechanics, with a mundane upgrade system that allows you to amasse fans (which has no effect on the rest of the game). Overall both a boring and frustrating game, that more resembles a simple sandbox game than a puzzle game. Not worth your time if you are looking for any kind of real challenge..Version: 2.1.0

You might be thinking about why I didn’t give this game 5 stars if I love it so much, but there’s one minors issue, it’s SO tiny but spoils the game. The one issue I have with this game is ADVERTS! They re the worst and I don’t mind the occasional advert every few levels and I get how the game needs ads to get money and stuff, but this game takes it to a whole new level!! I was actually DISGUSTED by the greediness of the developers and them ruining games for thousands of people so to the developers, if the adverts don’t change soon, I will leave a second review on this game but it will be a 1 star NEGATIVE review describing the AWFUL greediness of this game and I will tell people that don’t play it and if you do play it, don’t bother recommending it to ur friends because it utter RUBBISH. ✓ Impossible gameEven all the challenges are just impossible I can’t find a way to do the levels and challenges (wormhole maze and ghost.) It’s really annoying bcos I love this game but it is so hard to complete every night I go on to try but It always never works.Version: 1.5.4
✓ Chock-full of illegal scam ads. And I mean FULLNot just ads... feature length films. Some of the “challenge” levels are tricky, and after every fail you get “renew?” Then a feature-film length ad. Then you have two seconds to get it juuuust right (many levels require absolutely perfect timing) then another ad. I’m deleting this game and checking to make sure I don’t have any more games by the same developer as I will delete those, too. Some degrees of avarice are so profound they should never be rewarded. Besides, after a few attempts all I feel is rage against the developers, the ad generator company, and every product advertised. No leisure time activity should generate this much rage. IMPORTANT NOTE AND WARNING: By the way, several of the ads included are well-known hoaxes and scams, like the Cicret smart bracelet and that diet pill that lies about having been on Shark Tank (the shark tank episode shown was for a nootropic shot geared at college kids). The fact that this developer associates with illegal scam advertising tells you everything you need to know about them. The game is specifically designed to put you at financial risk as often as possible. It’s a shame because it’s a clever game. Too bad the developers have made such unfortunate business choices. If they switch to an ethical advertising structure and have a more reasonable number of ads, I might re-install. I’ll watch this space for their announcement of change..Version: 1.8.3

✓ This is awful.This game is terrible. There seems to be no rhyme or reason to any of the solutions to these challenges. Most of them I just drew a tiny line to get the ball rolling and literally nothin else. And the ball would just find it’s way to the target regardless of my input. And on multiple levels I’d slice the puzzle and get 1 star. Out of curiosity I checked what 3 star solution looks like. And it’s the exact same thing I did. All be it a little more messy. And some levels gave me a bad score but checking the solutions I saw that the level was actually set up differently than mine. So the solution I needed couldn’t have possibly been any of the pre made solutions. In short this game is terrible. You’d be much happier bashing holes in your wall with a hammer. ✓ It’s alrightWhen I first say the ad in my other games it looked really fun. You woke up the guy and made sure he didn’t sleep. When I got the app it was much different. Your trying to make him into a superstar. When exactly did that show in the ad? It didn’t. The ad was sort of miss leading. I’m on level 43 and I have had this game for less than 5 minutes. I thought that like any other game it would get harder each round. Nope, I was wrong. Every level is easy. It’s like I’m playing the same level over and over. ✓ Good at first...I really enjoyed playing this game. Please note the ‘ed’. It got harder, so I used the hint button. Not a problem, right? That’s not the problem. Once I got to level 155, there was a pop-up saying something like, “Limit the amount of lines?” I didn’t know what that meant, but since it said nothing about money, I said ok. I then looked at the screen and there was a picture at the top of the screen with a x1 ☝🏻. I continued to play and drew my first line. The ball got stuck so I tried to draw another line. It wouldn’t let me and in a white box on the bottom it said, “Limit Lines”. Luckily it was only in effect for one round. I completed the next level and there’s the same pop-up on level 157. I pressed X but when I tried to draw, it said, “Limited Lines” again with a x1 ☝🏻. I am now stuck on level 157. Why would someone come up with some ‘limited line’ crap. ✓ Ads are NOT appropriate for kids!This game is rated for ages 4+, as it should be. However, almost every ad (and there’s a lot) are for games that are for young adults; i.e. ‘Episodes’, ‘Choices’, and other interactive role playing games. Some of these ads discuss infidelity, pregnancy, and other inappropriate actions that involve romantic relationships. I was surprised to find out those games were rated 12+. .. Either way, not for children to see/read between levels. I gave it a couple stars because it is kind of fun. Took less than a week to finish.. Definitely should be for kids, so put kid friendly ads if you’re going to impose them on us..Version: 1.8.6
✓ Read my insignificant feedback on this game.Hello stars was great game! All the levels are addicting and very entertaining. I think that the simplicity of the game was what made it special. After the update where Mr.S has made his transition into a superstar, the levels of the actually game started to bore me. All you had to collect were... stars. I miss having the chance to boop Mr.S on the head with a ball to either wake him up, to remind him to stop using his phone, and other many creative reasons. And now the game is just really... I don’t know how to explain it. Also, the game is filled with so many ads that it is so annoying, and this is another reason to why I deleted the game. ✓ Mr. Sleepy might have a reason to stay awake if this game wasn’t so boring..After every “level” there are new ads. At first it’s difficult to navigate whether or not you’re denying the ad or accepting your “prize”.. or if you have to accept the ad to obtain the prize.. It wouldn’t be so bad if the levels didn’t take literally two seconds to complete. Which brings me to my next point.. there is minimal game progression. The same unoriginal level layouts are repeated I assume so that the app can appear to contain more content than it does. The ads will provide small rewards for limited amounts of time, so unless you’d like to pay for extra content (different balls, etc) you don’t have many other options. Appreciate the game makers need to advertise to create revenue for this free game, but it almost renders the game unplayable. Two to three adverts between each level, of which most are 20-30 seconds long, means a few levels can take over 5 minutes to play, just causing users to loose interest. You can pay for a version without adverts, but I’ve only been playing the game one day - I am not going to pay for a game until I am invested. ✓ Ads Ruin the ExperienceI’m okay with a few obligatory ads when I’m not paying for the premium version, but when 5-second ads take 10 seconds to actually close (I continually tap the “x” button, which is super laggy and unresponsive) to the point where I have to exit the app each time due to frustration—and this happens about every two replays in a level—it frustrates me to the point of not even wanting to play. The graphics are also kinda shoddy and could use some sprucing up, but they aren’t terrible. Other than that, it’s a good game, and the mechanics are appropriate for how it makes itself look (gameplay wise). I was on snap chat once and when I was done looking at my friend’s stories, I saw an ad for hello stars. The add was about a guy sitting on a toilet with a girl outside the door, needing to go to the bathroom rly badly. U had to take the water balloon on one side of the weigh scaler thing and try to throw it to the guy, by making a circle on the other side of the weigher thing. And hit the guy. I saw the ad and it seemed pretty fun, so I downloaded the game. When I opened the app for hello stars, the game was TOTALLY different from the ad. there was no water balloon or anything. Just a red ball. I thought, maybe for the first few levels it’s just using a red ball. I’m on level 90 right now. And it still hasn’t changed. THE AD DOES TO RELATE TO THE GAME. Also, this game said it was 4+. The ads I see are definitely over 13+, like in an episode add, there was this girl being pregnant and there was curse words in some of the ads, so yeah. It’s like watching an hour show where the commercials take up 45 minutes of the show. ✓ Seriously awful and boringThis game doesn’t challenge you at all! Each level has you draw 2 lines at most and can all be solved mindlessly on the first try. Not just that, there are ads everywhere. Oh, and did I mention that it could not be less visually appealing? The animation is mediocre at best, nothing flows nicely, and it’s full of broken English. And don’t get me started on the weak plot that doesn’t impact the game in the slightest. If you want an app similar to this one but much, much better, I recommend Brain Dots. ✓ Some things should be changed...I keep seeing this game everywhere with the same music each time. I finally decided to download it. Luckily the song doesn’t play. But back to whenever I first opened the app..I saw a sleeping stick figure walking and a ball just magically appeared and fell on the stick figure’s Head. So already I was thinking “Where is this game trying to take this?” Thinking I had already seen the adds and such for this game I didn’t expect...that! But yeah I get it the game developers can’t cram everything that the game has to offer in a 20 second long add. Now keep in mind I’ve only played like the very first “level” where you draw the half circle and make the ball fall on the guys head so idk much about it but this is just what I’ve witnessed so far. ✓ More like #1 time wasterOk so when I first opened the app, I was confused when I saw a random stick figure dancing on a stage. Basically the whole game revolves around getting coins in which you can use to... upgrade your stage and dancer? You gain coins by either watching ads, paying money, or doing puzzles. All of the puzzles have basically one goal, get the ball to a specific object or person(usually either a star or a sleepy man). These puzzles are quite fun at first, but they just get quite repetitive and annoyingly hard to understand. They aren’t satisfying to complete and don’t give you enough coins. For example, paying 99 cents will get you 1,800 coins, while one challenge (which sometimes can take a few minutes if your trying to get a 3 Star) will give you 30. Also watching one ad can get you 200 coins. After every other puzzle you complete a skippable ad will pop up and an option to watch an ad for a reward will come up. After about 30 minutes of playing I just said to myself, what is the point of this if the reward isn’t even satisfying?(which it isn’t) Well then I though that is was just to kill time and have fun while doing so. But there are so many apps out there that do this soooo much better, and they are actually fun to play. Don’t waste your time with this app, please..Version: 2.1.8
