Its goodI really loved the calming simplicity of this app and its focus on self care. Just what I’ve been looking for without even knowing it!I’ve been having problems with my mental health recently, and I noticed after a few months that my cycle seems to affect it hugely. Perfect concept, but...I love the concept of this app - it’s so much more informative and has a wider range of things to track compared to other period and mood tracking apps. You should DEFINITELY try it if you haven’t already. Love this app. The only reason I’ve given it four stars, is because there is an issue with scrolling whilst reading insights on selected articles, which is quite irritating. Please fix this!! Good but loud sounds when opening some screensJust got this, seems like it’s going to be very useful. Only problem so far is whenever I click on ‘’more’ on the home screen items with info on what’s happening in the day and night of that particular day/phase, a very loud sound happens. I can find no way of stopping this sound, either in the app of through my phone settings and makes using the app with others around difficult. I’d be grateful if i could find a way to turn these sounds off. I love itI’ve been struggling to find a good app to help my understand the possible effects of where I am in my cycles and this app does exactly that. Love it!I honestly really like this app. It’s genuinely helpful at helping me track my period and also helping me understand why I feel certain ways during my cycle so I don’t feel like I’m going insane (let’s be honest it does happen) and the tips about what foods to eat or avoid is absolutely brilliant too because it’s something I never really thought about. I never have any glitchy problems with the app either like my previous period tracking app. I also find this one is better at predicting my cycle and is usually super accurate. Better than ClueI switched to this App after Clue lost years worth of my data. I do prefer it. The daily predictions of how hormones influence how you feel throughout the month are pretty accurate. Although the help and advice is pretty repetitive so I skip that..Version: 3.14.0

I’m in loveReally has changed my life!! I now understand my cycle properly... and had made me realise how much my mood is affected by hormones!! I find it super accurate... One day when I was super excited and dancing round the house...so I checked afterwards and it guessed it exactly right that I was going to be overly excited and energetic that day! I love this app and have been recommending it to all my girl friends. I think it would be cool to develop a feature that would share updates with your partner - as he’s so interested to know how hormones effect my monthly journey too..Version: 1.1.2

Update Fixed Data IssuesSo, I was very glad to see that there was a quick update that fixed the “disappearing data” problem that I and some others had complained of! I still really would like to see an option for *automatic* data exports to a *private* place like iCloud, or at least my phone’s Files app, rather than needing to create an account and risk my data being exported to some cloud with security unknown to me. I just don’t trust an “outside” service with data this private. Still, if you’re like me and the last thing on Earth you want is to make yet another account with yet another password to remember, not to mention the privacy risks of having anyone hold your health data and your email address, at least there is an option for you to keep your data safe. And the tracking in this app is much better than others I’ve found... I really like how it displays trends over time!.Version: 1.15.3

Great app - few glitches since updateThis app is best one I’ve ever used and I’ve tried them all. Linking in with weather and also the moon cycles I am particularly interested in. Since update there is a glitch with logging a moody moment in that when I change the sliders as I make my way down they reset themselves to 0 before I can press save, which is annoying so have to do a few at a time and press save. Perfect apart from ovulationI love this app. I used to use MyFLO but Moody Month is definitely superior. The only reason it’s 4 stars is that it predicts my ovulation three days early every month. Just as I’m entering shift/luteal, I’m experiencing what it describes for ovulation every month. Could be my body’s weird but thought it was worth a mention. If it was an option, I’d give it 4.75 stars..Version: 1.16.5

What I needI don’t actually get “periods” but I do get all the other symptoms on a cycle (spots, mood changes, etc) and it’s nice to not have an app revolve around the actual period alone. I really like the memo aspect and the articles related to health are a nice touch as well. The UI is clean and neutral. The list is comprehensive, though It would be nice to have the opportunity to personalise, and add more rarer or unique symptoms to the tracker (I get water retention in my ankles for example). Useful App - Just Needs Proper TermsI love the app, it’s functional and helpful. The only suggestion I have is that I wish it used proper terms for cycle phases. It says things like ‘shift, rise, bleed’. When I’m trying to research nutrition or medical information for my cycle it’s all written as ‘Follicular, Luteal, Menstrual’. I would like an option to know what the actual proper term is for each phase so I can quickly look up the information I’m looking for. If it’s on the app already, I haven’t found it easy to locate. Comforting appThis app is accurate in suggesting what symptoms I can expect on different days and nights of my cycle. I wish there was a way to add back logs for times when I only remember to log after midnight, and to edit logs. The best feature is the helplines that the app lists for you. Track your PatternsI love this app because I can log my mood everyday and see my patterns over time. It really helps you feel more relieved when you feel tired or stressed, because at certain times of the month it’s normal to feel like that. I used to feel guilty for feeling tired or stressed, but I’m able to really enjoy the moments of relaxation these days! EmotionsI can’t speak for those with irregular periods as I experience extremely regular cycles but this app has been amazing for me. It feels so comfortable to use and teaches me a lot about the way my hormones. I personally don’t handle my emotions very well as I shift from passionate to numb feelings often and it’s nice to have the extra insight, especially since I’m in a pretty emotionally turbulent time in my life right now. The astrology feature is also a fun side thing if you’re into it. First time I’ve written a review for an app and I don’t believe they even prompted me to do so like most other apps. This App Gets MeI chose this app because it promised not to sell my private information, and I’m so glad that I did! I thought that I knew myself: erratic emotions, stochastic migraines. But woah, I was wrong. Through Moody, I realized that these symptoms, which seemed so random before I tracked them, were synced with my hormones! After following Moody’s daily advice (e.g., eating protein to stabilize my hormones), I had my first migraine-free month in two years. I also used my tracking data to help my doctor better help me. This app is life changing and I am so thankful. My only suggestion for improvement is to clearly state what is included in the membership upgrade - I want more of this amazing app, but I want to know exactly what I’m purchasing! I unfortunately couldn’t find a clear explanation of what the membership includes. Overall great app that apparently knows me better than I know myself..Version: 2.4.5

Surprisingly inclusive! 🏳️‍⚧️As someone who gets periods but isn’t a woman, It’s been very difficult to find a period tracker app that doesn’t constantly misgender me and cause dysphoria. That’s why I’m so thankful for moody! I mainly just use it for the tracker and daily check-in so I’m not sure if the longer articles and exercises assume every user is comfortable with female terminology and pronouns, but the overall interface is great at including all genders by not specifying, making it a good bet for trans people who wish to track their periods and get advice. TL;DR if you’re trans and looking for a period tracker, this one won’t misgender you !! big win.Version: 3.13.2

Love it, needs improvementI love the holistic nature of this app and what it provides, as well as the very detailed tracking. However, I do wish you would add the actual scientific language to represent the phases of the cycle. “Rise” and “shift” are great when considering the more holistic type of concept but you should also include the actual terminology for the phases. Good with some clarityBecause I suffer from a lot of abdominal issues like endometriosis, my periods have probably taken over centre stage 😂 So I thought it would be nice to have more insight into how my periods are affecting me to be able to have a bit more control. The only issue is that for me it’s not clear how the scale works 😕 does low relationships or friendships mean they aren’t good? Because it’s coming up that it’s a good part of my day. Update: FIXED!!! - Stopped working after iOS update (subscriber)After upgrading both my iPad and iPhone the app stopped working. It doesn’t let me open it at all. I contacted the app support but didn’t receive any answer. I’ve been using moody for around a year and the experience by far has been great nut now is useless. Please help! Update: The Moody team contacted me and asked me to uninstall and install the app again. I’m not sure how this made it work again as I performed the same steps before and couldn’t make it start but nevertheless, I’m happy! This is a fantastic app, and a must for me as a woman. Hot app but glitchingLOVE this app, it literally has everything I’ve wanted from a mood tracker. The best one out there. After the last update though the log display that shows you your stats over the course of the month/cycle doesn’t fit! Love the app: just one issueI love this app very much to track my cycle and understand the different phases - it helps me so much to act and eat and rest intuitively. I have the pro version and I can comfortably say that it’s worth every penny if you feel like your hormones play a role on how you feel but cannot put a finger on why and how you feel that way. My only issue with the app is that the notifications that I get are amazing, but there is no way of seeing these notification on the app itself. This becomes a bit annoying when I click on the notification hoping to see the rest of it and the app just brings me to the home page. Super helpful but could use some tweaksIve always struggled to track my periods as i have adhd and i find organisational stuff like that really difficult. not only has this app helped me to track my periods really well its also helping me keep track with the emotional side of it too. while the logging feature is really great to help me work out how my period is affecting my emotions it would be really helpful if: 1) it was more clear as to what the sliders actually mean (the low/high labels work really well for some categories like stress and memory quality but dont really make a lot of sense for stuff like the relationship, friends and family sections) 2) there were a few more categories or maybe even an option to add your own categories? personally im finding that im a lot more impulsive and irrational leading up to my period and itd be really helpful if i was able to record this as a category so i can be more aware of it next time around other than that this app is super helpful and is likely going to make my periods a lot easier to deal with in the long run..Version: 1.15.2

My Favourite Well-Being AppI have used Moody for a few years. Within that time I have learnt that my period cycle and how I feel in accordance to that can be predicted. Good but could be betterI really like the concept of this app and find it helpful to track my periods. But a couple of things that keep bothering me - why can’t I add a note on a previous day? For instance, I had a headache yesterday and didn’t think to instant record it but today I remember and would like to note it down to see if there’s a pattern. If I click on a previous day in the calendar and then click “add a moody moment” on that day, the note is tagged to today. As someone with irregular periods, it’s also kind of annoying to have to go in every day that it doesn’t come and delete the predicted period dates. Other apps I’ve used have a button to click saying “period started today” and the calendar figures it out so I only have to do it once..Version: 1.1.2

Fantastic!This app is great and I absolutely love it! I track these things on my own with pen and paper, but I might switch over to the app since the UI is so good! The only problem I have with it, is that you cannot edit individual moods on a log day after you save. You have to delete the entire log, and even that was hard to figure out how to do. Love the symptom trackerAnd especially the option to add custom symptoms to track, it has been so incredibly helpful and I’ve noticed a number of patterns I wasn’t expecting which helps me be more accepting and compassionate towards myself That being said, I really wish the phases were named by their legitimate, scientific name and not the cute names like “Rise” and “Shift.” It feels less empowering (and less convenient having to find the true scientific name for such phases from other sources). RevolutionaryI love this app. It has taught me so much about my cycle (that i cannot stop thinking I should have know much sooner from school !) The daily wellness tips are actually helpful a nd remind me to be kind to myself. The yoga is great in an easy to fit in short format. I would love a little more functionality on the data, to visualise the logs and see patterns of things. It’s good but I can help thinking this part could be better. Really Good TrackerI would love if there was a website version as well, so you could move between your computer and phone. I'd like a few more personalization options for more accurate tracking, like being able to choose more than just low to high, or being able to creat your own main categories outside of Mind, Body, World. Great app for tracking moodsLoving this app, only been using it a month and am liking how easy it is to use. I like the fact that you can overlay data like how bleeding affects your mood but I also think you should also be able to compare at least one piece of data from one month to the next and overlay them on top of one another. HelpfulI enjoy being able to check in each day and night and see a brief description of what my hormones are doing and how it could be affecting me emotionally and physically. It has helped me shift my perspective in moments of negative thought. I do also like the tracking aspect. There is a better array of options than in other tracking apps I have tried. However, I took off one star, because I don't feel like there is much that I can do with the data. A more comprehensive overview, such as being able to look at a whole month at once would be helpful. Used as a journal more but yknow I love itOk so my periods are super irregular, I’m never on a schedule BUT having this app helps me WANT to stay on track and let’s me know I’m not completely out of reach with my schedule. Anyways, since my schedule has been thrown out the window years ago, I mainly use this app to journal! You can list everything that you are feeling and check box things and use the slider and add to the list, it’s wonderful! You can also use the little journal and I love it! Looking back on days whne I was feeling horrible and days when I was feeling good! It can be used as a way to track moods in your phases BUT mainly I just use it to feel better, journaling really is important if you don’t have a therapist, or really even if you do. So I use it all the time so I’m never feeling too bad and I don’t go out of control. Customisable sliderI really like the app, one thing I would find handy is a customisable slider (for me I would use it to monitor my skin, sometimes I get flare ups of itchy skin).
