ProBikeGarage for Positive User Reviews

Very very goodEasy to keep track of everything. On trainer or outside, it keep track automatically of everything. Hopefully they will update the app soon..Version: 1.19.0

Fantastic appThis is the best bike component tracking app out there. It works really well for keeping track of chains and wax intervals. Does well with tracking wheels, tires, cassettes and other items that move between bikes and add and remove from the same bike.Version: 1.19.4

Neat ideaReally neat idea but would be better to show the remaining hours against all components on the home screen to get an idea as to what’s coming up soon..Version: 1.7

Keeps you bike in tiptop conditionGreat little app. Very simple although a little confusing to set up initially with your own components. The app does come with a load of preset schedules that can be expanded on to suit your preference. Get notifications when your coming up to a components end of life or service due. Connect to Strava or any other ride tracking app you use (unsure which other apps work) to track your milage and time on the bike. My only gripe is that I no longer get notifications from the app, all settings checked and notifications turned on so no idea what’s happened. I used to get notifications so must be something to do with iOS. Other than that, once set up it’s a simple app that’s easy to use and will keep your steed in perfect condition 👌🏼.Version: 1.19.0

Good. But needs UX love.It does the job and helps me keep my bike well maintained. UX is not great though. I forget how to add a service every time and need to click around a lot to figure it out..Version: 1.19.0

Very useful app, once set up correctlyThis is a great little app that really does help keep track of maintenance and replacement parts. It takes a bit of work to get the hang of it, and to input all of the relevant components and to create suitable groupings. To that end, a tree structure, maybe with +/-drop downs, would be useful to see groupings and keep track of what parts are included where, instead of having to look at each part. As it is, I have had to create a diagram myself to allow me to set it up effectively and efficiently. It would be nice, but it works very well as is. I like that the app allows groups to be user defined, so I can put a cassette as a component on a rear wheel, or as a ‘drivetrain’ group. Or both!.Version: 1.19.0

Dark mode hides text and imagesI LOVE the app. I’ve been wanting something like this for a long time. I will say that it does not seem to be configured for dark mode..Version: 1.10

Best gear/maintenance trackerBest tracker so far, it's even possible to distinguish indoor vs. outdoor rides to exclude tire/pad wear from indoor rides..Version: 1.19.1

Exactly what I neededI like riding a bike. Over the last 4 years I’ve ridden/commuted to/from work 6k-8k-11k-11k kilometers annually. While not record braking volume the kilometers add up fast and failing to do maintenance in time is costly. I’ve kept track of components on my Strava account but Strava doesn’t send reminders. This app syncs with my Strava account, allows me to add any component I want, define the start date, retire a component and above all schedule maintenance intervals and most importantly sends me reminders. For the $2.99 it cost it saves me €€€ if not €€€€! Perfect..Version: 1.9

Fails to pull in Strava bike componentsReally great features, but I thought this would be a nice, easy way to get a handle on all the parts on all my bikes. However, it only pulls in bikes and associated rides, it does not pull in the parts I’ve already built onto all my bikes in Strava. This means I have to spend hours duplicating work in this app if I want to track part maintenance. A lot of common parts are not listed in the apps. For instance, I can find E-Thirteen and some DT-Swiss wheelsets, but it doesn’t have my SRAM Roam wheels. The components appear to be user generated, which is actually nice because I can can track individual pieces of gear that I’ve moved from bike to bike. I guess I’ll get to work transferring stuff over manually since this app appears to have a a lot better handle on maintenance. Good thing I’m in quarantine for now....Version: 1.17.0

Fantastic app for tracking mileage/hours based maintenanceThanks to its integration with Strava, this app makes it easy to keep tabs on maintenance and component wear. It’s extensive database of parts also makes it simple to add parts so you can go to the level of the specific model or use something more generic (e.g. cassette) to keep tabs on any component you wish to track. My favourite feature is that you can add a component at any time and backdate it to the day you installed it and the mileage/hours will be calculated based on your Strava data..Version: 1.12

Great app for tracking partsBy far the best app for tracking the usage of your bike and parts. Easy to swap components in and out and set reminders for different parts (like lubing a chain).Version: 1.12

Pretty good, some refining needed to be greatOne of the more annoying things is having to re-authorize Strava about once a week so that it keeps things up to date. Other than that a few things are clunky but does what I need it to!.Version: 1.19.0

Fantastic AppI wish I’d found this years ago! If you’re meticulous and service your own bikes Strava’s components section is great for mile tracking but nothing further. Having lunched the chainrings and cassette on the commuter through the chain being on too long, despite regular degreasing/lubrication, I needed a better solution to track variable and independent service intervals of bike components across my bikes, and this app is it. It’s intuitive, clear, well designed and crucially allows you to set multiple reminders per component using a range of measurements, such as service interval by months/hours/miles, alongside expected end of life by another figure. Fantastic app and thoroughly recommend..Version: 1.13

Solves the problem strava won’tWhen you have multiple wheelsets for the same bike, and want to be able to track the use of all the involved components, this is the only option I’m aware of. It works pretty well, would be nice if it included labelled options for front and rear on relevant components, but it’s possible to edit the component names to note this..Version: 1.18.0
