Was tempted to try, but waste of moneyDon’t buy this app. I was so curious. I paid the exorbitant price and the app crashes on my phone and won't load Apple music. That's not why I don't think you should buy the app though. It's not as good as Marvis. It's not anywhere near as customizable or visually appealing as Marvis and it's twice the price of Marvis. It's just not worth it. Save yourself the money, unless you're extremely curious and want to waste your money, like I did..Version: 1.2.4

Too much for an app that doesn’t workI just paid for this app think it was better. Wrong! Once it starts playing music, it will stay playing the same track even if you skip to another track. I would have thought that a bug that bad would have been fixed before asking $5 for it. Otherwise, this is a cool that has a lot of potential. Keep up the good work and get this bug fixed..Version: 1.5.9

Siri support needed!!!Needs Siri support!!!.Version: 2.0.2

Should not have to pay to figure out that there is no Spotify support?A music player should be able to play music from all sources?.Version: 2.8.5

Please read....Maybe it's because I have an old iPhone 7 but it's VERY hit and miss and slow on loading up (I have great internet speed). I really wanted to like this App so very disappointed and will be deleting the app once I have finished this review. It's not cheap and you have been warned. Thanks..Version: 2.2

No albums visible if no Apple subscriptionI buy my music on iTunes. I am not able to see any albums, recent purchases or similar on the home screen. To see my albums I have to click on albums first, and this choice in navigation gets lost every time i re-open the app. Compared to the music app, where all my recent albums are visible when opening the app. I believe people using Apple music get to see their music at the top level of the navigation..Version: 2.2

Missing Songs and Lirics don’t matchI find a lot of songs missing on search! On apple music the songs show but on soor not! The lirocs don’t match.Version: 3.0.2

Good…. But could be better.I don’t think there’s much difference between this app and the standard Apple Music player. This seems to crash and has some bugs and hiccups and I also don’t like how you can pick a random song but it won’t play similar songs that just keeps playing that song over and over, I know it’s only seven dollars but if I could get my money back I would, it’s really not worth it..Version: 3.0.1

Pretty good.Beautiful interface. Wish it supported disabling cloud/streaming music for those of us in places with expensive data rates..Version: 1.2.3

Nice but...Look it’s a good app and all, but I have bought it for the fact that it has a unique player interface (the moving wav) since I know that Apple Music have DRM protected content, i used my own music that I synced from my laptop, and still the wav form moves in a continuous loop which means it doesn’t react to the actual music. I guess I have giving you an idea of what I m trying to say, when you add this feature it’ll be a 5 star rating, but as for now it’ll stay at 3. Sorry.Version: 1.3.2

Instant quitNeed fix. When playing a song, click singer-album ->go to singer page ->show apple music contents->scroll down to artists->click one then quit instantly..Version: 1.2.3

Looks good - doesn’t work$14.99 for an app that crashes on start don’t do it.Version: 1.1.2

RadioPlease add radio stations in next update..Version: 1.5.9

Yes.... but also no, for the moment at leastHonestly don't believe the app is with the five dollar price at the current state of it, at least at the time of writing this. the app is well at doing some basic functions, like if you wanna just listen through an album, it'll absolutely get the job done. the library transfer from Apple music to the app is smooth and effortless. the app also improves upon some things from basic apple music, such as noticing when you try to add a song to a playlist that already exists within the playlist, which personally I found to be really nice. however, the app also lacks to do a lot of basic things at the moment. attempting to shuffle, whether from the get-go by clicking the shuffle icon of the whole album/playlist/whatever, or from trying to shuffle from the player after a song is already playing. you can't remove songs from the queue which is stupid- unless you can add I apparently can't find it, in which case is also stupid because it should be an easily found feature. aside from all that, you can't interact with the -small but very much still existent- social part of apple music, which might just be because this is a third party app in itself and can't do that cause of legalities and whatnot, but I figure that's a worthwhile heads up. honestly I got the whole app to bed able to do the dark mode feature, which is absolutely dope. I can tell that this app has a lot of potential but first the moment it's not with the price in my opinion..Version: 1.3

Unclear descriptionThe interface looks beautiful from screenshots and the functionality sounds really interesting from the description and articles about the app. It made me want to try it out because the native Apple Music is one of the most annoying apps I recall using. But I'm not into the subscription thing and thus I don't have one for Apple Music. Soor never made it clear that it's a requirement before I bought the app and learned the hard way. It's ok that it's a requirement, I know lots of people use the service. But it should be very clear in the description/FAQ. It'd have saved me the hassle of requesting a refund, because even though I still think Soor might be great, I will not buy a U$10 app that demands a subscription that I will not sign up for..Version: 1.0

Data refreshMost recently played and recently downloaded doesn’t update unless you hard quit the app and reload it. There should be a way to refresh this data IN app, considering the fact that not being able to find the track you JUST heard seems like a pretty big oversight. (really it should be pushed and updated without ANY user input... but at least something)..Version: 2.2

Not recommendedAt first, it looked awesome. I thought, “Finally, a good music client,” but I was wrong. It was the exact opposite. This feature lacking app is not worth the $6.99. Also, it couldn’t even play individual songs from playlists, which was a big deal breaker to me..Version: 1.3.3

Random crashes and battery drainThis app looks great and has a layout that is much more ergonomic and aesthetically pleasing than the stock Apple Music app, however, as soon as I downloaded it I noticed that my battery got hot and started draining much faster than usual. Also I’ve had multiple crashes within my first hour of use, I suspect it’s because this app also opens the stock music app along side itself. Don’t drop $10 on this, at least until they fix these issues. I want this app to work. I’ll change my review if anything is fixed..Version: 1.1.2

This app sucksI can’t believe I payed money for this app. Sure it’s got some features that Apple Music does not, but it lacks features like removing any songs from your library or from a playlist or even deleting a playlist. Also no radio stations at all. It has magic mixes but don’t be fooled, it takes 10-15 minutes to load one, every time you want to listen to it. This app is actually trash right now, it might get better someday but for now it’s unusable for me..Version: 2.1.1

SlowSome nice touches to the app but getting to your music takes about ten seconds from launching the app..Version: 1.3.1

Missing the basicMissing basic functionality like the ability to turn on shuffle while listening to a song. The whole ui looks nice but isn’t intuitive..Version: 1.1.2

Missing Core FunctionalityFirstly I really like the design of this app, it definitely feels nicer than than the native Music app. There are a few issues with it though that means I can’t use it as a direct replacement for Apples app. Which then makes it look expensive at £9.99 as the only gain is really the dark mode for me. 1. You cannot delete music from your library from within the app. 2. No ability to rate your music. This is key for someone like me who uses smart playlists a lot. Those two features are absolutely key. You cannot charge £9.99 for an app and take away features, you need to have everything the native app has and more! If the developer can add these it would be a winner. Until then it’s just really the dark mode that’s nice..Version: 1.1.2

So far not badOne bug found upon using : from player widget, when skipping song, it glitches bad..Version: 2.2

Conflict with the apple music main clientThis is a great music client and it’s very well designed, I really love the new live activity feature too, gives some great insights. However, since I installed this app, my main apple music app keeps telling me that i’m not connected to the network. (It’s unable to detect my connection) I had to reset the network settings and delete this app in order to get my main music app working again. Please fix this problem ASAP cause it kinda makes the whole app useless..Version: 3.0.1

Widgets are brokenBought it for the widgets and now they’re broken..Version: 2.6.8

Some upgrades / Lots of downgradesApple's stock music app is annoying enough that I dropped nearly $10 on this immediately. Yes, it looks much better. Yes, there's great new functionality. BUT after a few days of use I'm realizing all the things it doesn't do. Most notably, there's no quick access to the "up next" list by scrolling down from the currently playing track. In fact there's no way to see what's in the queue at all and the ability to add tracks to the "up next" queue is only available in random places. For example, long presses on songs or albums offer up no functionality. I use "up next" all the time, and it's enough to make me switch back. It's also quite buggy in its current release. I often get stuck on the full screen track view while playing a song with no way to minimize it and browse for other music. Also, although opening up control center while playing something in Soor shows the currently playing track, actually tapping through to open the app always ends up opening the built-in Apple Music app - which makes this whole app feel like a pretty kludge and not a proper relacement..Version: 1.1

Great Idea, but not worth itPaid $15 AUD for this, it’s a great idea, but not very well implemented. Hopefully gets better over time. But till then, back to the Default Apple Music.Version: 1.2.1

Doesn’t work without the Music AppBought to replace apple’s music app but that doesn’t work..Version: 2.2.5

Lots of limitationsSince this uses the Apple APIs, and not everything is available via the APIs the app has lots of limitations such as not being able to rearrange or delete songs from a playlist. While I sympathize with the limitations imposed by the API, these limitations should be made clear in the app description up front. I would not have bought the app if I had known this. For those interested in the full list of limitations see the app FAQ on their website. Again, this should be part of the description, not tucked away on the website!.Version: 2.2.5

Usually great, now unusableI picked up soor at the beginning of ios14’s launch because i liked the music widget and grew to quickly love the app as a whole. while aesthetically i think the stock ios music app trumps all, feature wise soor has got everything. however, since yesterday the app no longer runs and i can’t seem to determine why as neither it or my phone has updated in that time. whenever i open the app it immediately quits. restarting the phone doesn’t help, and while reinstalling works for a short time in a few hours it begins forcequitting again. i hope this is patched soon as i’d love to continue using soor..Version: 2.2.2

Not usableCrashes on iPhone XS max.Version: 1.2.4

Good looking but lackingI really love having a player that uses Apple Music that has a dark mode but for $10, I was expecting something with a little more polish and reliability. I have bought other apps from this maker so I know he has the ability but this app was obviously rushed. I've had multiple instances of the app pausing songs repeatedly. This is often followed by a full crash of the app. Rebooting the app does not fix it but hard rebooting the phone seems to for a while. Playing songs randomly from the all songs tab does not work like every other music player I've ever used. It makes a short playlist of a selection of songs that eventually start repeating instead of just playing all of the songs at random. If you want to start your list from a specific song and hit the shuffle button in the player screen after starting that song, it only shuffles songs that begin with the same letter. Its frustrating because the app is truly beautiful but when a player is missing such basic functionality, is obviously only skin deep. He does seem to update his other apps pretty regularly so I'm hoping to see and update that addresses these issues but the last update for this app was ten days ago and didn't really seem to do anything. At the price, this is definitely in the premium range. It should be better..Version: 1.1.2

Quick takeThe app so far looks great, I love the design it's a nice change to the Apple music app. That being said there are a few things that bother me: 1. The app does not respond for a 10 - 15 seconds when opening the app after it being inactive. Edit 3/3/19: responsiveness has improved tremendously. 2. Minimizing the album cover of a song currently playing takes a very deliberate motion, that's good in theory, but decreasing the size of the swipe down needed would be great. 3. Album Artwork also takes long to download, probably downloaded after starting the song, and is unreliable. Sometimes it shows up in the preview of the song in the browser but when the song plays the album Artwork is missing from the playing screen. 4. Notification banner takes up too much space and is inconvenient when trying to do multiple things quickly..Version: 1.1

Beautiful music player... But crashes all the time.Using Soor on an IPhone 12 on the latest IOS and it just keeps completely crashing out of the APP when you choose a song etc. A real shame as I love the app but this issues essentially makes it unusable..Version: 2.5

Needs iPad appThe app is good but doesn’t have some features such as deleting songs and downloads. For an app at this price, I expect that functionality as well as an iPad app.Version: 1.2.1

Can’t wait to use this app more....The Add to Playlist (whole album) button doesn’t work :( Is there a trick to this? Why is it not working? When I just want to play an album in order it will play the first song and repeat it. Sometimes it looks like two duplicate songs playing at the same time. I don’t like how if you click a song it doesn’t just start playing. You have to appeal to how it will work into a queue first. This is incredibly annoying, especially since there’s no tutorial anywhere online how to work this app, just like every other app out there. I still haven’t figured out how to work this app all the way and I’m not dumb. It just doesn’t make sense. Sometimes the whole album is added to the queue and sometimes just one song.....?????? So far the app works well except for those incredibly annoying nuances. It makes me want to Only use the app for magic mixes and to see the albums and songs I have in my library as Apple doesn’t show this in a list. You have to look up the album and then by the cloud symbol you can see if it’s in your library. I like how the functionality syncs with Apple Music. Big Plus. I can’t wait to learn how to use it more. But I don’t know if I’ll ever..Version: 2.2

OverratedI wanted to love this app, especially for its iOS 14 widgets however I was immediately disappointed to discover that it doesn’t include any of the radio stations which is a huge part of my daily use. The app layout needs tabs otherwise you have to constantly scroll down to get to sections. There is a way to re-order and remove sections you don’t need, and I found myself removing almost all of them , just so it would be manageable. The widgets were even more disappointing. I set one to recently placed and 4 hours and a half dozen playlists later it’s still showing the same from when I added it to my home screen. It’s an ok music player, and *perhaps* for a very narrow type of user it might be better than the stock music app. For just about everyone else, it’s not worth the money..Version: 2.1.1

Widgets crashApp is overpriced - fails in many ways.Version: 2.2

Waste of money, as reviews state slowAs other reviews have stated magic mix takes forever to load. I have an 11 pro max I shouldn’t have these issues. Waste of money, not worth the time. App adds a few gestures. Need to download other apps to get full functionality of Apple Music app, don’t waste your time..Version: 2.2.1

Unplayable for meSo this is almost unusable for me. App skips around through tracks. Doesn’t play the track I click play on, instead it just jumps to random track. Widgets crash when trying to use them for playback. Tired both ‘versions’ of the app: System player and Application player and the same issues arise across both. Have reached out to the dev so hopefully there’s a solution but if not it’s a refund request. I’m on iOS 14.3 on 12 pro Max.Version: 2.2

Add a preview function - refund would be niceI paid to download and it has no star ratings, doesn’t show long song titles, didn’t recognise I already had Apple Music subscription and adding to playlist clumsy. I understand Apple limits what can be done but this was one overpriced extortionate preview. Deleted after fiddling with it for 5 min. I shouldn’t have to buy to look at it..Version: 2.6.8

Unable to open the appCrash all the time on current version.Version: 1.2.3

Great but no dark modesGreat and clean interface although I purchased this for the dark themes and none are available. Dark them is only available when used with iOS dark mode..Version: 1.3.3
