✓ Love dry bar comedy I actually recommend it to anyone who loves clean comedyHey why do I all of a sudden have to pay to watch dry bar comedy when I didn’t just 3 days ago? I feel like if I joined and watched for so long I should at least have a free 24 hour period when I open the app to get the subscription or to enjoy the last 24 hours before I can’t watch it anymore Either way thank you for making my days filled with laughter and joy, please keep up the good work and defiantly recommend dry bar to anyone who loves comedy (I especially recommend Jason hewet or however you spell his name).Version: 7.001.1
✓ Great content, app needs improvementsI absolutely love the content but I have a few issues with the software: - There is no way to just listen. Instead the app has to be active and on top of everything all the time. This is very annoying. - Not only that but in playback mode the app covers the top information bar of the phone... so when I am watching I am not allowed to see even the time and the remaining battery life???! - Speaking of battery, the app drains the battery very fast. Way faster than youtube snd netflix for example. And seemingly there is no good reason for that. - The app sometimes hangs when losing connection temporarily and it is reestablished later.Version: 2.5.1
✓ Needs work but love the comedy.This is a great app concept. I LOVE the comedy. But it doesn’t really work. I have favorited several of the acts and they never show up in my favorites. I can’t pause the show it favorite the separate jokes. The video stays small no matter what you do. The tip and share buttons do not work. And once I choose a comedian to listen to I can’t pause, go back, or navigate the app at all anymore. I have to force the app closed and reopen it to look for someone else. ✓ Clean comedy, what a mood booster!Dry Bar is an amazing host that introduces me to my new favourite comedians. I’m a little shocked to search them up and find out they aren’t fully clean comedy but love ‘em all the same! I turn to this app whenever I’m feeling the “meh” and need to laugh! Always works! Always new comedians and great relatable topics! Definitely worth the subscription for the clean comedy and it’s so so funny. Christian view point. ✓ Excellent app! Please ignore the handful of low ratingsI have been hooked on Dry Bar Comedy since it appeared on Facebook. Mary Mack, Alex Velluto, Greg Morton - those are just three of my many favorites. The comedy is clean, and if one finds a few very subtle sexual innuendos here and there so be it. No one is dropping the f-bomb in Dry Bar comedy. No one is cursing just to be cursing like many so-called comedians do to entertain the drunks. I think it takes a lot more talent to be funny without resorting to swearing every five words, and Dry Bar proves it. Do yourself and favor download this app. The comedians are very funny, the app is easy to use, and it is definitely something a Christian can watch without feeling compromised. If Alex Velluto reads this, my wife and I will be attending the Dry Bar Comedy Tour when it comes to Peoria, IL in May. I hope to get an autograph or a picture! ✓ Best Comedy Channel!I’ve been watching Dry Bar Comedy for about 3 years now and it’s by far my favorite comedy channel. Their app makes it easy to access all the shows they’ve recorded. I will say, I’m disappointed that the recent update took away the ability to rate each special and see the ratings, but it’s not that big of a deal. ✓ What happened to the Tip system?I have a listened to dry bar for over a year… I have never encountered the glitchiness that some people talk about… I really enjoy that the comics are clean and really funny… I have also enjoyed “tipping “the comedians that I thought were exceptionally funny. But today, I went to look at dry bar and now everything is locked and I have to purchase a new app? I have no idea if colored bars below the title when you click on a thumbnail mean anything. There is no way to quickly view which comedians have more than one video. There are no stats on which comedians have more favorable reviews or which videos have been viewed the most. The old content seems stronger than the newer content. ✓ AppreciationI have to say as an Aunty that a 22 year old with three kids under 8 in my life, I really appreciate being able to watch some comedy/ good humour that is created with no swearing and really funny content. Yeah there are some innuendos but I enjoy that my kids, nieces and nephews aren’t copy swear words, cracking rude jokes and this is something the adults can watch while the kids are up!! I’m so glad you made an app where I can watch/chrome cast it as well!! Watching Dry Bar off YouTube was good but this is even better!! You guys are rocking it!! ✓ Love the premiseLook I love the premise of this app, a way for comedians to get paid for their content. But it’s severely lacking in quality, half the time the video drops out and you have to restart the app multiple times to get it working again, favourites don’t work at all, it deletes recently watched when you close the app, over all it’s shocking. But, when it comes down to it when it works, the video quality is fantastic and the content is great. I would like to keep using it so if possible fix the bugs. Realistically it only deserves 1-2 stars but I’ll give them the benefit of doubt and give them 4 in the hopes they fix the bugs..Version: 2.6.10

Oh ts frustrating when I open the app on my tv and anticipate a new video only to see all that's been uploaded is the tip video and it can take a few days to be fixed. Im just curious who puts the videos up to be watched? The reviewer who gave this a one star because of it not being clean does not realize how ratings work. You said it was mostly good and gave it a one star?!? You realize there’s other numbers right, like maybe a 3 perhaps? Dry Bar was my “safe place” - clean, creative, intelligent comedy that got me through grief-filled days during an isolating pandemic. I didn’t personally agree with it because I love the comedy and the app but I can respect someone else’s opinion. Then I read the criteria under the 12+ rating of the app. Which states that this app has infrequent use of mild profanity and mild sexual innuendos. So I just don’t think it’s fair to give a 1 star rating when this app delivers exactly what it says it’s going to and does it very well at that. ✓ Auto play is kind of annoyingThis app started out great. Love all the comedians, really clean good content; however, when you click on the app, and you’re in the Home tab, whatever video there will autoplay, and even moving to a different tab like the Favorites or the Profile won’t stop the video, and even if you play another video from your list, the video on the Home tab will continue to play. I got so over trying to discover comedians on YouTube. This app literally has them at my fingertips. If anything, my only downside to this up would be…… I fall in love with a comedian and how hilarious they are. And it’s only the one video under that persons profile. ✓ The AAA Farm League for ComediansI subscribed to Dry Bar a few years back and stayed with it during the COVID Lockdown, even after they started to change the annual fee, ‘cause I figured it was the price of a couple nights at a comedy club, and it would allow me to support the comedians that weren’t allowed to perform. ✓ Real comedy. Real Laughs. No shock.After a decade in the military, I’m no stranger to off-color humor. I don’t nude it and am not offended by it often. But the reality is, comedy doesn’t rely on shocking language or overly sexual or drug related discomfort to get laughs. It’s true people laugh when they are uncomfortable, and comedians fall back on that laughter to keep a flat show from getting worse. The best comedians get consistent laughter for being genuinely funny. I’m satisfied time after time when watching dry bar. It’s not that I’m here for G-rated fun, far from it, I’m just here for 5-star comedy, and this format finds it. Seems okay to pick a video and watch entirety, but difficult to navigate through a video (skip forward or back). Won’t always let you “laugh at” or “love” jokes.
