✓ Use once, they have credit card info foreverWe used these on a vacation in a town 10 hours away from home. Odds are that we wont be back but there is no way to delete our credit card from the app. Similar to another user review, we also had trouble getting the app to take our credit card at all. One tip for use is to remove the bike from the lock as soon as you here it open. Any delay and you will have to either call customer service or find a different bike to unlock. The bikes lock back up quickly and then the app wont cooperate for that particular bike again..Version: 3.7
✓ Sketchy, be careful!New riders. Vending machine was broken so we used the app. Very buggy, took many attempts to unlock. Then both my wife and my bikes had safety issues (handlebars came loose while riding), and now support is dragging their feet to refund us the rental fee despite sending us into traffic on sketchy bikes. Hope they get their program tightened up, this is a great program to have around Park City, but the execution leaves a lot to be desired..Version: 3.6
✓ AVOID THIS BIKESHARE PROGRAMThe 5 of us had an awful experience with this bike share. We had to each register multiple accounts—individually—before it would work. Then, the app wouldn’t take our valid credit card numbers. Finally, it took our payment information. Then, one of our bikes died mid-ride, despite the fact that the bike showed 20 miles of range left. The second day, the entire pedal arm came loose and broke off. We had another bike whose tire was going flat. The app experience is horrible and these bikes are NOT well maintained or safe to ride. Park City has a lot of work to do before people should use this program. AVOID. IT WILL JUST WASTE YOUR TIME, EVEN THOUGH E-BIKES SOUND FUN..Version: 1.7
✓ Great idea, horrible experiencesTwice we have tried to use their bikes. Both times we’ve had nothing but problems with their bikes. Issues mechanically, issues renting the bikes, and also issues with a bike “losing connection” that led to being stuck without a bike or anywhere near by to get a replacement. Customer service is not great as well. So far it has involved two phone calls to straighten out the bike that lost connection, explaining both times where the bike is and why I am still not using it. Won’t be using this service again..Version: 3.7
✓ Hates foreigners...A great idea but not fully baked... & horrendous billing process... despite debiting my cards 4 times the system refused to release any bikes... - one card was billed $1 - the other card was billed $1, $3, $35 => And no bike but down $40. I called the help line where the lady was perfectly charming but told me she could not help & "it was all a problem with my billing address" (overseas but the same one as the cards are registered to!) - & it had not stopped them from taking money off me... Apparently I will be refunded in the next 3-5 weeks. VERY unsatisfactory..Version: 1.6

✓ Bikes don’t work!Maintenance on the bikes needed in Park City, UT. I had to exchange 2 bikes at different docks to get one that finally worked right. My wife had a bike that the pedal fell off 2 miles from a dock. Called customer service stranded, and was put on hold! Park City, shut this outfit down! 0 stars!.Version: 1.7
✓ DO NOT USE0 stars. My bike died in the middle of my ride and I had to ride an extremely heavy broken bike for the rest of the time. The bike even said it had 2 more hours of battery life when it died. It was also a struggle to even get the bikes out of the charging station. Terrible quality product and even worse service. 10/10 would not recommend..Version: 1.2

✓ Warning: Bikes unsafe, pedal fell off and battery diedThe worst and most poorly maintained bike share fleet I’ve experienced in the world. The bikes desperately need maintenance and are not safe to ride. I had multiple issues with the bikes including a pedal that fell off, batteries dying, and no brakes. The city should remove the bike share system from the road and fine the company running this fleet for unsafe and dangerous practices..Version: 1.7
✓ Horrible AppThis company must be losing tons of money with this horrible app. We have been trying for several weeks to rent a bike, but the app keeps saying there’s a problem with the credit card. I have tried all four of my credit cards which all should work. I have read many many other reviews stating the same problem. Just avoid these bikes all together as the frustration will really get to you with this stupid app..Version: 1.11
✓ Awful customer service!Bf and I rented bikes. Everything going good until we were 5 miles out and the chain broke in 100 degree weather. Forced to walk the bikes back to a docking station. No one ever answered my calls or messages but the charges sure went through!!! Terrible customer service!! Use another bike rental company!!.Version: 1.11
✓ Worst biking experience everPlenty of bikes at the stations but 9 out of 10 say “invalid state” when you try to unlock. Finally had one unlock only to discover a broke chain. ✓ Good luck!2 out of the 3 bikes we rented worked 50% or less of our ride, otherwise you were struggling to move a very heavy bike. Don’t go anywhere you don’t want to be stuck. Half of the other bikes at the kiosk were broken, no brakes, missing chain, etc. Can’t count on these bikes - but hey if you get one thats working & maintained you’ll have fun..Version: 1.11

✓ If I could rate this a 0 star, I would.App won’t let you update payment information, rarely works when payment information is updated and customer service is never available. Bikes will run out of charge mid ride and they feel like 150 lbs when the battery doesn’t work..Version: 1.11
✓ Completely Unreliable and DangerousTl;dr - do not ride this bike share system. You will regret it. These are the problems my family and I experienced while trying to use the system while on vacation: Registered with the wrong version of the app, rendering those profiles useless and unable to unlock bikes. Had to remake profiles with the “correct” app version. Some bikes (at least 3) did not have a working e-assist, even if they unlocked. A pedal fell off halfway through our ride. Brakes sound like a dump truck. Each of these problems caused our rides to be twice as long as they needed to be while we spent time that was being charged troubleshooting the bikes, swapping out new ones, and phoning customer service. Will not ever use this service again. I suggest you avoid it..Version: 1.7

✓ Worst app ever developedThis is the least useful app ever. Simply put, it does not work. I entered my credit card multiple times and it rejected every time. When I look on my American Express app I can see the pending charge, which means I entered the information correctly. Yet I still get an “invalid card” error. Downloaded the app as a workaround. Entered my card information into the app, and it unlocked a specific bike according to the app. When I tried to remove the bike from the kiosk, it would not unlock. I tried to call the number provided by the kiosk and app. Was on hold for twenty minutes before giving up. I emailed Summit Bike Share for options. Got a response the next morning that suggested that perhaps my card was not on file or that I downloaded the wrong app..Version: 1.7

✓ Won’t let anyone create an accountFor the lucky few that were able to get past the first information page were either stopped in their tracks at the credit card page or user agreement page. From not accepting credit cards to simply not allowing us to confirm agreement and create account this has been terrible. We did the bike share a few years go with a different app and it was awful as well but at least we got it to work..Version: 1.13
