Pure Synth® Platinum for Positive User Reviews

Very big bug and I don’t know how to fixSo there’s a bug with this app when you use it in Auv3 it glitches and makes all the chords go “weeebooweeboo” so pretty much crazy can you help me out please.Version: 2.4.13

I think there is a lot of confused ratings because of the glitchI had to come and re-edit my review after getting the update and losing all use of app! But now all is well in the synth world! Thank you, this is my go to app!.Version: 2.5.8

Pure Synth Platinum and the developers are awesome!Pure Synth Platinum and all of their apps are amazing. I use Pure Synth on basically everything I do. I also use several of their other apps. If there is a problem and you contact them, they will respond and fix it immediately! Five stars all the way!!.Version: 2.5.17

Jamal Hartwell’s Products Never Disappoint!!!I have many of his iOS products, BASSalicious 1&2, MIDIculous and MKSensation and I. Use all of them in recording and live performance and they always turn heads because of the fact that it’s an iPad. Thanks again for this wonderful sounding program..Version: 2.3.0

Impressive Synth....But, and it’s a big but, it’s just too big to fit on my iPad screen. Think the devs need to shrink it down a tad..Version: 2.3.10

Great Sounds But Very Unstable**Update** Less than 10 hours after I posted this review, the developer released an update that seems to have fixed almost all of what I mentioned below. Not sure if it was in direct response, but thanks for the fix & quick turnaround. Updating to a four star review & purchasing Bassalicious 2. *Old review below* I’ll start by saying that I love the sounds in this plugin, however, it doesn’t do me much good because of the bugs and stability issues. Prior to this most recent update, Pure Synth would work intermittently in BeatMaker 3. On a good day, I could open a project with 2 or 3 instances of Pure Synth and it’d play with no issues, but more often than not the plugin would crash and I’d have to close/open the project until it decided to cooperate. This most recent update seems to have lessened the amount of crashes, however, there are now two issues: either no sound output from one or more instances of Pure Synth when multiple instances are in one project (synth UI shows the keys are being ‘pressed’, but no sound is coming out), or if the sound does play from an instance, the output is EXTREMELY low (around -33db when volume fader set to 0). Please fix this. I’d love to pickup Bassalicious 2, but no way I can do it in good conscious with the issues I’ve experience with PSP. Running this on an 2017 iPad Pro with 512GB storage..Version: 2.3.9

This is better then your competitorsThis app has superior sounds in clear sounds that you can put in your composition and also it gives you plug-ins within the app to tweak your sounds best bang for your buck.Version: 2.3.1

Soul brother number 1It is a pleasure to find an app that at iteration one is already so accomplished. Looks good, sounds wonderful. Huge amount of high quality samples available as free IAPs. Connectivity. Great into price. If Lucious Lyon were real (and friendlier) he’d be using this app! Nic.Version: 2.3.0

I have a bit of a weird storyJust bought this yesterdy on a whim after seeing bolo’s yt video regarding au’s for beatmaker 3...excitedly used the standalone and was blown away by the sounds so I bought the bassilicious 1 & 2, 808, fm tines, upright and suitcase expansions...but lo and behold...when I used the plugin w beatmaker 3, no dice! No sound...tried just about everything and still ZIP...found a thread from yesterday saying they were experiencing similar problems after the latest update but that it would be fixed within the week...was a bit bummed since I had just gotten the app and was ready to jump in and make music...then BAM! 5 hours ago, an update drops fixing the issue and I am a happy camper :):):) Thanks GM!.Version: 2.4.13

Awesome perfect soundsI have many synth apps but this app is a must for more standard sounds no Matter what your looking for choirs, strings, guitars electric pianos acoustic pianos you name it it’s here and they all sound great..Version: 2.3.0

If You Could Only Have OneIf you could have only one instrument oriented synth (heaven forbid!) this is easily the best choice. It combines a multitude of acoustic and synthy presets with a very malleable control/edit function, which, unlike other instrument apps, gives the best of both worlds. Along with NeoSoulKeys and BASSalicious, Godpel Musicians stand out as possibly the best all-round dev in the business. Ten stars!.Version: 2.4.16

Best Auv3 VST availableHonestly if you’re into making trap/hip hop/rnb this is the most useful Auv3 you’ll come across. It’s one of the few that has orchestral sounds as well!.Version: 2.4.18

Most Versatile Synth on iOSI picked this up initially on the strength of both Jamal’s demos and the ability to layer 4 sounds for JV-1080 style patches. I soon discovered that the deep library of waveforms and samples (all bundled with purchase, no paying extra for DLC!) makes it possible to match something like 90-95% of classic synth sounds, provided you have the ear for it. This was recently improved further by the addition of 12db/octave filters, which make CS80 and Oberheim style sounds more authentic. The samples that aren’t in the library (Juno is a big one for me) typically have close matches in the generic “Saw” and “Square” categories if you dig for them. TBH I haven’t used the “acoustic” sounds for much but I like knowing that they’re there. The effects are also top notch. I have EOS-2 and FAC Chorus but if it came down to it I would have no trouble dialing in close matches from the internal FX. The only thing missing is a true random Wow and Flutter for BOC-esque sounds, and I get that from TB-ReelBus. You can create or imitate virtually any subtractive or sample-based sound from the analog and early-digital eras on this synth, and give all but the most labyrinthine software synths a run for their money. And it’s portable..Version: 2.4.4

Cool appI really like this app.Version: 2.5.26

PattillioThe sounds sound very good and I wanna use ‘‘em but on iOS GarageBand when I go to audio unit extensions it won’t show pls help.Version: 2.5.17

It’s great but...I love all the different sounds and it’s possibility to be a great module for my keyboard, but for some reason the downloaded additional sounds don’t show up in my list, I’ve tried everything but it doesn’t seem to work..Version: 2.3.10

Best iOS Synth AppThis is probably one of the best synth apps for iOS out there, if not THE best! It’s so easy to use! Highly recommended for music makers..Version: 2.5.19

NiceBut what is with the big junky banner ads in the banks now that go nowhere? Are these IAP or ads for the other apps I already own? Can I get these in this app now... somehow? This just kind of junks up the lay back and chill and make tunes vibe..Version: 2.4.6

My Favorite Synth AppI use multiple similar applications to plug into Garage Band Mobile. This application is by far superior in function and sound quality! With a dedicated team that works tirelessly to resolve any issues that occur I have always gotten a resolution to any bug and the app only gets better. 10/10 and 5 stars! Highly recommend!.Version: 2.5.17

How do I use in GarageBandI downloaded this and it’s great but I want to use it in GarageBand now and don’t know how. I also have the file that I would usually import into sampler on GarageBand but the file is not available 🤦🏾‍♂️.Version: 2.5.17

Best App For Producing 🐐I use this app for just about every Beat now and I made my own presets that sound amazing .. the in app purchases are cheap compared to laptop vsts and are just as good .. creatempsphere and platinum are must have .. 17/10 reccommend make quality beats nobody will believe u did it on an iPad.Version: 2.5.9

Absolutely PerfectReal Musicians Must Have. Live or in the studio, there is no equal to this app. I’ve spent thousands of dollars and none sound as good as this. This is the only app you will ever need. My Thanks to the Gospel Musicians Team..Version: 2.4.16

AUv3 is Broken!WORKING AGAIN ! One of my very favorite apps, but. now AUv3 allows me only 1 instance of this synth. Please fix, so I can make music again,.Version: 2.5.17

Good overall, solid sample playerI like GM apps I own pure synth, neo keys, fm tines, bass, & mk. For the most part they are great, that said i generally don't use the effects, As a wishlist item: if you purchase content say in pure synth like bass2 you should also unlock bass2 outside of it. Another ex i have all of fm tines but none of it translates to fm tines within pure synth..Version: 2.5.9

WORTH THE MONEYSo many sounds and things to mess around with I’d 100% recommend buying this over other synthesizers..Version: 2.4.0

Loving these soundsSimply awesome.Version: 2.4.18

Good but one issueThe interface is displayed a bit weird. It’s a bit to navigate, if that makes sense. Other than that, it’s great. I am in love with the EDM leads pack. Definitely worth the money..Version: 2.5.26

Love it, Love it , love it!!Thank You Sooo much for last update. I hav all your IOS apps plus motif flash. I hav a new iPhone with memory upgrades. But my iPad lacked memory. So now I can hav all my gospel musicians app fully loaded on one device!!!.Version: 2.4.6

Impressive synth and romperVery underrated synth . I love the simplicity and I love the fact that you can combine the sample side and the waveforms it sounds raw. You get 4 layers to play with ...I started trying to emulate the Roland Jupiter and Juno sounds using the wave table ...it’s sounds way better than most iOS synths out there.Version: 2.4.9

Fantastic! One request. The sounds here are extremely usable and I’m so excited to have something I can use live on gigs for a super cheap price. One feature I would love to be added would be to assign flipping through patches to midi buttons. This would make this even more enjoyable to use on gigs..Version: 2.4.18

Superb sounds ...Very good quality samples - worth it for the a double bass alone. Needs some fine-tuning under the hood ... a few missing notes, missed samples and some popping ...loading fast ain’t everything... but with a few tweaks Pure is destined to be ubiquitous - a classic..Version: 2.3.0

I have yet to fully installI’ve just had a brief play around and so far it’s the one I’ve been looking for. Absolutely smashing sounds..Version: 2.4.6

Yeah!Great sounds! The most fun you can probably have for this little money! I almost feel bad paying so little. Many great sounds!.Version: 2.3.0

Jamal and his crew keeps killing itThanks Jamal you know exactly what we want. I just wish other companies took something from your playbook. We need more musicians who have programming skills to do what you do. I don’t normally write reviews but boy if you made a hardware performance workstation I would be interested. Good job keep up the good work. And blessings to you. This is sure worth more money than you guys are asking. Just did a reggae bubble with this. Yes it’s good for all types of music even Caribbean.Version: 2.3.1

Great rompler — terrible updatesPro keyboardist here. Dudes… you have to fix the update system you’re using. I can’t have PSP break before a gig because it updated in the background and lost the factory content … again. This is like the 2nd or 3rd time an update has done this. For real guys… not cool. I about had a heart attack because suddenly my crafted brass and strings patches came up in AUv3 sounding like sine waves… bc the factory content was gone. Go into settings before the show, frantic with my hotspot, checking for updates, trying to re-download the factory content even though it’s telling me buy it … again … umm - no. Close all apps, open stand-alone, close it, reopen… suddenly it’s all back? What the heck. Give me a notice that this might screw everything up please so I’m ready BEFORE I’m on stage to sound check. Like the title. Great ROMpler. Not much better on iOS that’s also an AUv3… but dudes… get a better way to update. Minus one star for the mini heart attack..Version: 2.5.17

Fantastic sounds but crashes a lotSuper sounds, great fx but crashes more than every other AU3 I own. Still sounds fantastic and has some of the most realistic instrument sounds on iOS. Greedy on memory, the sample preset library adds up to around 6gb, which eats into precious iPad storage. Otherwise it’s fantastic and worth the money. Loses one start due to preset file size and instability..Version: 2.4.16

A great addition for the iPadThis is what was missing for the iPad. So many great acoustic sounds now available and it’s AUV3. This company has been putting out amazing products, everything is solid, and useful. The sounds are fantastic and the control of being able to dial-in the exact frequency to the .01 Hz of modulation is sick, that’s with every app. These apps from this company now find their way into every project I create. I couldn’t be happier..Version: 2.3.4

Working againSeems to be working fine since the update, thanks for the fix. 👍🏽.Version: 2.5.17

Amazing quality soundI especially love the acoustic samples like piano, and there are many variations to choose from, from mellow, to more emphasis on mechanics like the hammer noise etc. I highly recommend this to people looking for a plugin to beautify their garage band tracks with better sounds. The crew is also super professional, if you find a bug they will definitely fix it promptly..Version: 2.4.13

Great Synth, but I’m getting some delay.Don’t get me wrong. I absolutely Love this Synth/SamplePlayer/Layering Keyboard! But, I get more latency than with my other IOS Keyboard Apps. I see no Latency adjustment on here. Please tell me where it is, or put one on there. Otherwise, this is one of the best I have. And, I have a hundred or so Keyboard/Synth Apps. Very competitive with Sampletank and Syntronic Layering Synths..Version: 2.3.1

Great Sound PacksThis App is amazing. It hosts a wonderful collection of sound packs for a multitude of different instrument types. It’s enjoyable to spend the time getting acquainted with the app just by browsing through the presets..Version: 2.4.0

Great Sounds, but...I re-downloaded this synth because the bugs were fixed, according to the developer. My problem now is that the additional sounds will not download and install. Not good, but still usable..Version: 2.4.1

Strong where the competition is weakI bought this in the Amun’s 2019 intro promotion. Quite frankly, the first time I ran it, it drove me crazy (2019 iPad Air) with glitches and dropouts on some sounds. Then I closed a bunch of other programs and it ran fine. Prior to this, my main source for romper sounds have been SampleTank, GarageBand, and KORG M1. Pure synth offers a lot more variety in the piano and orchestral categories especially. It is much better for synth sounds than M1 as it has portamento. Pure Synth does not have drums or percussion as of now., but my other instruments cover that pretty well..Version: 2.3.1

I love this appJamal gives another great app to the library!!!! Out the box the sounds great. I’m still learning to customize my sounds, but the factory presets work great. The intro price was a great investment as one who is converting to vat..Version: 2.3.2

SuperbBest AU Rompler available on IOS. Ignore negative review. Comparison with Garage Band is totally spurious. Pure Synth can be used in any sequencer, not just in the Garage Band walled garden.Version: 2.3.1
