✓ Coulda been shoulda beenThis could have been one of the best mobile RTS games ever, but it just crashes all the time, on any device on which I play it. I’ve been playing for years so this is no angry one-timer, and whether it’s my phone, ipad or MBP, once troop count gets really high, the game completely shuts down. I have tried every single thing there is. My guess is the developer won’t update it at all because it’s an Arcade game. smh.Version: 1.7
✓ Better designations of levelsI don’t mind playing against the computer but in the training mode, you get the same ribbon whether you beat it in easy, medium or hard mode so it’s hard to keep track to see if you are getting better or making progress. ✓ Bugs, no story, sandboxIt’s ok, it’s suuuuuper simplistic, but it’s also buggy. Last game I played the enemy base was literally invincible and took zero damage from anything. A few buildings can be upgraded but resources are very limited and when you are “boosting” one you can’t get anything else, that one is almost always wood which there is not nearly enough of. You can’t control unit groups, you amass them then send down a lane, which is fine but I didn’t personally enjoy the lack of control, some people may do. Perhaps it’s meant to mostly be a multiplayer sandbox? I’m not sure what it’s trying to be, kinda feels like an early beta limited functionality/proof of concept, it just needs ... more? ✓ Not badGood concept but the AI needs a lot of work. You can win every time if your quickly deploy troops to attack. However if you build up a base and expand your troops, your base comes under constant attack with the AI seemingly building a much better force than you and you always loose..Version: 1.0
✓ Very fun multiplayer but always crash!Have completed the training mode on medium, my partner has also down the same. We’ve started to play multiple and have managed to complete 2 games out of 10. Most of the time it crashes and auto surrenders before we even get to fire off our troops after 10 mins of gameplay. ✓ Fun with room for improvementThis game is fun in its simplicity and variety of strategy. I’ve listed below some improvements that need to be made - better match making, it takes too long to find opponent. Let people play against AI while it still searches for a real opponent in the background. - better net code. I’ve been stuck in games that continually pause and lag because my opponent is running on a dial up modem. Please just disconnect the game if the connection isn’t strong enough. - remove the catapult map from standard games. It’s an annoying map, lots of people just surrender right away so they don’t need to play it. - some maps never get chosen or are very rare to play on, the chances of each map need to be evened out. I’ve only ever played the bomb and I’ve wall maps once out of many many games. - the map controls need to be fixed, a lot of time the screen is not responsive when you’re trying to move around the camera and it gets ‘stuck’. - finally, for the past two days I have not been able to find an opponent match. Come to find out it’s because there’s a software update available. The game didn’t tell me this. I just sat there for ages waiting for a match that was never coming..Version: 1.6

✓ A shallow and unbalanced Dota-likeThe game has very little complexity and the units are not balanced correctly. For some reason, I keep being matched to games on the Ice Wall map (the most basic pattern with only one path). In this configuration where you build up your army, the marksmen are way OP and just making a ton of them wins the game (unless the other party decides to apply the same strategy, in which case it is whoever built more of them). Not really interesting. Also, you never really see the “win” screen because people rage quit all the time. Cool graphics, though..Version: 1.1

This comes With unfair AI advantages such as being able to stay at a mine or a wood chopping station without having to push forward. The current bug lets the multiplayer game load but then 5 mins in, it freezes and the opponent surrenders and waves the flag, it happens with quick and hosted games. My opponents clearly has no intentions of giving up so early. ✓ Wished it had multi touch.Reminiscent of warcraft. A fun simple game of outbuilding an army vs your opponent. Prefer training mode more. Wished there was more to do, like a campaign, more units, resources, upgrades? The single touch controls are annoying however, when you want to build resources and your army. ✓ Buggy multiplayer, buggy survival, currently impossible legendary reign achievementHi, I really enjoy this game, it’s a great game. I’ve got 38/39 achievements. However, there are some bugs: 1. In multiplayer games sometimes the game just pauses and I suspect this is something to do with the surrender mechanic or pause button pausing game for both players (this is annoying). 2. In survival the enemies troops wait next to the mines in an out of reach location, meaning when I try and reclaim the mine I can’t as there are still enemy troops there. But they don’t fight, my troops just go past them, this ruins survival games completely. 3. Achievements: legendary reign requires 500 multiplayer wins! This is no longer possible when nearly no one is online, so matchmaking takes a LONG time, and then eventually is says “play vs AI”. This option of playing VS random AI should appear immediately rather than after an hour+ of waiting. Thanks..Version: 1.7.1

✓ Good idea but atrocious interfaceI’m sure there are a lot of things to enjoy about this game; the concept, the lovely graphics. But the mechanics are just terrible, borderline unplayable even. The ‘tutorial’ involves just telling you things in no connected, progressive fashion. ‘Hold on the barracks to create troops’. Which one is the barracks?! Then when you do figure it out, the circular progress bar is displayed underneath your digits so you can’t actually see what’s happening. ‘Defend your base’....How?! With what?! You showed me how to create one troop and send him off into the wilderness and now there are 20 orcs coming at the base. There are more worthy games out there in the Arcade than to spend time on a mechanically flawed TD one..Version: 1.1

✓ Something isn’t rightThis game is fun but needs serious balancing work. Tbh the Fae is way overpowered. Most “experienced” players only play the Fae bc well they are completely overpowered. If you know how to play the game you will win 99.9 percent of the time if you play Fae against another race. They are overpowered for their starting units. They will win every exchange for capturing the beginning resources and after that the games basically over. Just make lightning units after if you don’t win automatically by spamming starting units at the resources that will eventually decimate any other unit in the game. Most “experienced” players just play Fae over and over because it’s essentially easy mode. The Fae starting units especially hugely need to be nerfed it’s basically ruined the game and the lightning units and it’s why most players just play Fae over and over which I also call the “lame” “easy button” players..Version: 1.7

✓ Needs improvementThe multiplayer functions doesn’t work and it’s not clear if that’s because there’s no one else playing or because this game needs a patch or something. Upper levels seem like they rely less on AI strategizing and more on giving the AI advantages through more resources (mainly shown by how quickly they can create so many troops and also how quickly they advance). I would rather have it be a level playing field where the AI just gets smarter rather than basically cheating. The game has only gotten clunkier. No way to play multiplayer because it always freezes or glitches. There’s not real way to tell what units are good since they just cost more while being just as frail as their cheaper counterparts. ✓ Bad gameUpdate found a new bug where you can’t play multiplayer. im trying to play a game over the internet (not on same wifi) and it refuses to work. We have tried the codes, matching through Game Center. Even trying to hit join the multiplayer searching at the same time. Nothing works. For a ninja kiwi game, I expected more.(this has been broken for over three weeks) Two disappointed customers. Good game. Found a bug if you search for a game and it says no game found then the select play with AI about 30 seconds in it bugs out and showed the main menu and all you can do is mine more resources. ✓ Has potential…This game has a lot of potential, but here are the main problems: - multi player rarely works - Survival AI is ridiculously difficult, don’t even waste your time. -the game is about being able to do half a dozen things on your screen almost at once My recommendations: -better multiplayer, but for that you need more players so first you need to address the overall flaws in the game. -drastically lower the progress of survival AI, it’s wayyyyyyy too OP - make the different classes have more unique abilities that can counter each other. For example humans cavalry being way stronger and doing multi damage. Only the Fae class has a unique ability, to stun for way too long a period. -decrease the number of things you can do, for example I recommend getting rid of the farming boost by holding, make it a steady amount. -intro new classes and characters to the game once or twice a year.Version: 1.7

✓ Cheaters Have Made This Game UnplayableI used to really love this game. But apparently, there are Red Reign cheats out there that people have found online. I didn’t know this kind of cheating was possible in this particular part of the Apple ecosystem (Apple Arcade). I don’t know why people find cheating to be so fun. What’s the point of making everything so easy? It’s easy to tell that some hacking of the game is going on because some how or another, the opposition will literally have 50+ swordsman or what not when the game just started. No matter where you go on the map, you’re getting cursed, and his/ her characters are getting healed in another part of the map at the same time. All the while, capturing all of the wood mills and gold mines simultaneously. None of this stuff is humanly possible. So, it looks like I’m done with this game until they get a handle on the cheating ✌️.Version: 1.7
✓ Stupid.Now. I’ve got some questions to ask, that will make you seriously doubt your game. After you read this, you’ll see how much your game doesn’t make sense. Yes, it’s just a game, no, I’m not being overrated. 1. How are the people on horses as slow as the people without? The people on horses are as slow as the people without, why? They’re horses, and horses are normally quite fast. So answer me. Why are they just as slow as non-riders? 2. Why have you COMPLETELY stopped updating the game? So, I stopped playing this game and it automatically deleted, I stopped playing for at LEAST 6 months, and there was absolutely NO more updates. It said the fairies or whatever were new, and in fact they’ve been in the game for quite a while now. Also, no new fighters, no.. new things at all! 3. Why do you never add anything interesting? Theres nothing to keep you playing. This is pretty much the whole game: You start mining, then upgrade all of your fighters’ spawning place, upgrade your castle, repeat, repeat again, spawn fighters, send them to the other players’ castle, then have a war that is infinitely ongoing. Eventually you get bored of sending your troops back and forth, back and forth, and most of the time don’t even do damage to the other players’ castle. ✓ Interesting but flawedI like the premise of the game but it’s got a major flaw. The balance of it is completely off. When playing as a human, it seems that your forces are inherently weaker than every other faction. It doesn’t matter if you load up a bunch of archers or have more footmen to soak up damage, I have consistently failed to even reach the second stage of upgrading because I’m constantly on the back foot because my troops die far quicker than anyone else’s, and this is against ai, who can somehow churn out a stream of stronger, more expensive troops despite not having the additional mines and wood camps early on..Version: 1.7

Finally got matched ONCE only to freeze and have the opponent give up (with the upper hand too - weird). ✓ First to click winsThe premise has potential. But basically it’s whoever is the very first person once you enter a game to capture the gold mine wins. Once you control the gold mine you can overpower the enemy with a single unit, without ever having to upgrade anything. You can just send wave after wave of very first unit until you destroy the other player within about 2 minutes because they have 0 way to come back with how much more gold you have. And when I try to host a game on my network it never works. It used to work about 25% of the time and that is down to 0% over the last 10 attempts. Half way through some multiplayer games everything appears to stop (the music continues) and after around a minute or two my army surrenders automatically. I’m assuming that connection to the servers is lost. 2. The single player soon becomes repetitive with no real incentive to carry on playing. Some kind of reward system and levelling up would make this so much better! 3. There doesn’t appear to be a massive community of players. I’m often left waiting to join a multiplayer game for many minutes which means this isn’t a game I can just pickup and play when I have a few spare minutes Really like the idea of the game, but it needs some work!.Version: 1.5
✓ Has potentialThis game COULD be great but falls short. I like the game play but I wish you had more control of your troops. Once you send them to attack there is no way to bring them back. In fact, the only command you can give them is to attack a base. If YOU are being attacked you can’t divide your troops how you want or move your archers behind other troops to protect themselves. Secondly, there is almost never a person to play against in a match. Now this probably isn’t the game’s fault. It’s likely not enough people are playing the game yet. The problem though, is the AI you play afterwards. If you don’t make a match with a real person, the game asks if you want to play the AI. Well the AI is freaking impossible to beat. Somehow it can span 3 times the amount of troops you have. It upgrades itself much faster than you can possibly do yourself. Totally takes the fun out of the game..Version: 1.5
✓ Game is broken please fix.The game only allows you to play two of the three modes...”Training” and “Survival”. The main “Play” mode doesn’t seem to be available. When you tap on it, it simply “grays” out and nothing happens. Please fix the game so that we can get what we paid for when we subscribed to the Apple Arcade (games that work and with better support). ✓ Fun game, but...I love the game; the mechanics are simple and easy to learn, with just enough variation in races and maps to make things interesting. BUT... at the high levels of play, cheaters have cracked this game. For example... just now, in the middle of what seemed to be a really fun, even battle, I had an army of warlocks coming down on me (which I could see as they attacked and took a checkpoint). I was pinned down, waiting for the imminent attack on my base... but it never appeared. Apparently this enemy army was able to magically teleport away from conflict. This happened not once but twice, while at the same time my opponent had managed to somehow upgrade his base while also manually cursing my troops and healing his own, while I held more command points. I’m not a newb. Really. And I’m not a sore loser. But this was ridiculous. And it has happened to me several times now. There should be a way to flag players, at the very least..Version: 1.5
✓ Great concept - constant glitchesAbsolute loved it to start! My boyfriend and I love a bit of healthy competition but every time we try to play it the game disconnects mid battle which is INCREDIBLY frustrating. We are halfway through creating strong holds and just as battle commences the game cuts out or even before that. Have only managed to play four games in an hour after constant trying, would love to be able to get addicted to this game, it’s simple and quick to play. I’m sure with updates it will get better and more complex (in difficulty and options whilst in battle for more experienced warriors) but is completely unplayable for now. ✓ Super fun until you realize why you’re losingIt’s a bunch of little things that would make this game unable to put down. First have it easier to target your resource collectors and a group of allies to direct at once. A lot of the time I’m just clicking on nothing it seems like. Also the margin of error with the glitchy scrolling is part of the reason I’m putting the game down. The other is the enemies ai can put them out of harms way at a collector and block your ability to grab it. That makes the game unplayable. I really hope they fix some stuff it could be really fun.Version: 1.6
✓ Crashes/hard to find gamesI want to give this five stars, I really do. Problem is, three games in a row just stopped working. You can move the screen around but cannot select anything or do anything. Even worse is it takes so long to find a game. I’m happy when I find a game but it’s like a 80% chance the game will crash. If the crashing can be fixed and it becomes easier to find opponents I would definitely give this five stars. Edit to review: dropped down to one star. Four games in a row just stopped working.
