✓ With Improvements Could Be BetterLove the story line. However, gameplay can be improved. For starters, there should be a limit on how many puzzles you can play if you have limited space in your garden. Once all of the slots are filled there aren’t enough options to allow one to continue to play the game under the said circumstances. I ended up having to delete this game because once I would clear spaces my wildlife would harvest more than I can merge. Not to mention the amount of limited space IF you can level up to it. Previously I would be offered option to sell or delete an item. Once I ran out of spaces it stopped giving me the option to sell and delete (keep in mind that my coin bank was not even full or close). I’ll give this game some time to grow & mature before I try to play it again since it’s still fairly new..Version: 1.14.0
✓ Great game! But…I’ve been playing this game for about five months and I really love this game. It’s very Zen but lately it’s gotten expensive. The puzzles are harder it’s less Zen because you have to spend money constantly if you want to get anywhere and I know that developers need to make their money but I have other games that I have gotten well further and spent no money and the developers are still making their money. this is the first game that I spent money on. That’s how much I like the game but you would get a lot more income from your Fanbase if you made the game a lot more Zen in reaching goals. I hope the developers are listening to their Fanbase because a lot of people are not happy with all the upgrades you started off having a strong Fanbase, but you’re weaning off people will stop playing this game. you have a great opportunity to do something for your fan base. ✓ Great game but is repetitiveI love this game and I’ve been playing for over a year and I’ve started again recently. I’ve also never felt the need to purchase anything to advance, however I’ve sometimes purchased the deals just because they were good value! However, I wish the special events felt more special and worthwhile doing. They seem to be the same 4 events on rotation & also I wish they would release more wildlife, trees, water features and more as I’d happily rate it 4 or even 5*s! :).Version: 1.17.6

✓ Decent but confusingWould have been fun but everything kept spitting up these baskets that took a massive amount of gems to open. Then there was no way to get rid of them. I ran out of room because of all the baskets sitting around. They would not merge into anything else and just sat there taking up space. Since 160 gems costs $5, and each big basket takes 150 gems to open that is like $5 per basket. That is insane! I wouldnt even pay $5 for the entire game. And there are like $200 worth of baskets. Ummm. Nope! And since the baskets can only be removed by paying an exorbitant amount of money, the game becomes Unplayable due to lack of space. ✓ A mix of merging, 3 match puzzles, and in the end, Angry BirdsI have been enjoying merge games, so when I saw this on another website, where certain actions give points (did that & never received the points). I was hesitant only because I avoid 3 match puzzles. But I tried it out and was enjoying it. Now, I am reminded why I avoid the puzzles. It becomes nearly impossible to beat and it is way too low of levels for that. I find myself playing it less and less, since there is no point to it. If you can’t complete the puzzle, let alone 15, you cannot unlock areas. And if you can’t unlock the areas, there is no point to the game & it becomes deleted. Add on the birds, who are always in the way, cause deleting of items really needed, and there is no undo button, it becomes a waste. I spend more time “flinging” the birds out of the way, which doesn’t work and I just shut it down. More days pass each time before I open it again until it will soon be deleted. Will they ever give us an option to hide the birds to play the game more… probably not!.Version: 1.19.2

✓ Incredibly misleading adsAn overall 2/10 game. I can’t say I liked it in the slightest. I can’t say that my expectations were insanely high given how it’s a free mobile game, but with the amount that they were pushing the 3D ads I figured that there’d at least be 3D cutscenes. There’s incredibly good free mobile games, for example, things like the Obey Me! series and the Cats are Liquid series, but this game is just embarrassingly subpar. The moments that you see in the ads? In the actual games, they’re one-note dialogue with characters that I personally thought were difficult to get attached to. The gameplay elements are also disappointing. They rip directly from merge 3 games like Merge Dragons, as well as any basic match 3 puzzle game, and the most annoying part is the amount of tutorials along the way, as if no one has played that kind of game before. If anything, there should at least be an option to turn off tutorials, and if there is one that I missed, it should be easier to find. And believe me, I’m a teenager with ADHD who’s always downloading different games to have something new to stimulate my brain with. This game has nothing I haven’t seen before. If you want a merge game, get Merge Dragons, Merge Magic or Evermerge. Don’t waste your time on this game..Version: 1.17.8

✓ An AmalgamationI played the game for a little while. The general gameplay was decent for the first five minutes, but quickly went downhill for a few reasons; 1. It’s merge features directly copy a game called Merge Dragons. Decayed land, three pieces needed to merge, and the ability to heal land are direct copies. 2. The “puzzles” are just match-three games, very similar to Gardenscapes and Homescapes in both art style and gameplay. 3. The pop-ups during gameplay are far to chaotic. Most of the time whilst playing, I could barely understand what was going on. Furthermore, the story is a mess. When you open up the game, it jumps in midway though assuming the player has already seen the commercial. For players who haven’t, they are not introduced to the world at all. Simply showing off the clips from the trailer might fix this issue easily, or making an intro. Playing this went from incredibly boring and repetitive to every other merge game or match three to extremely chaotic with poor storytelling and constant pop-ups. I could barely even get through the first five minutes. If this game wanted to be something great, the very least they could do was add some proper punctuation to the speak bubbles..Version: 1.17.2

Lovely bright colours and always something to do to keep things interesting. However, since the latest update, it has been very glitchy and will keep crashing and losing progress! ✓ FreezeI really liked this game. Great way to pass time. Recently it has become very frustrating though. When I watch the ads for additional items it has been freezing up and not allowing me to exit the ad. I’ve had to restart my phone to get back into the game - until today. Now that doesn’t even solve the issue. Also, I do have to agree with another reviewer regarding the eggs. My screen is filled with eggs I can only clear by buy the matching eggs with gems or sell for a whopping 10 coins or use gems to store in the hen house. ✓ Frustrating unless you spend actual moneyI have never wrote a bad review on a game but this one is horrible! Just wanted a fun little game to do something when I want to relax BUT OMG I have never gotten so annoyed paying a game! You can get far at all just playing the garden because you have to play match games, which I normally enjoy doing but they make it practically impossible to win the after the first few games when you first start unless you spend money to get more moves? 15 moves to clear obstacles, clear the whole board, then have to clear it again (To get the tiles you removed to turn into grass) and collect 120 red hat pairs when the chances of getting that many on the board within your 15 moves is one in 100? I want to have fun, if I wanted to get upset playing a game I would play a real one. Matching is not hard it is the way too many obstacles they put in the way and with those obstacles how the heck can you clear the board and get collect enough of what you need with buying more moves!.Version: 1.16.4

✓ A Review Based on My Experiences.Hi, I’m Cassidy. I played this game for a while, until my phone deleted it automatically from me falling out of it and not playing it for a while. Once the game had a complete revamp, I redownloaded it, and expected the purchases my grandmother made for me to still be there. Once I had to log in, it hadn’t saved my account. Once I got in, I re-did the tutorial like the first time. But, once I got into the game, there wasn’t a “download old data” or “log in” button. I even looked on another device to see if I could find anything on my old account, which I just got connected to my new one, without the purchases. My grandmother cannot even open the game, it doesn’t load her in, and it just flashes from the loading screen to black repeatedly. She has made purchases on hers as well, but we can’t see if she has the account nor purchases because of the loading in issue. I do love the game, but it should’ve had a restoring data option for players who had made purchases, or who were deep into the game..Version: 1.19.2
✓ Barely a gameSlickly produced, with (at first glance) a seemingly endless variety of options, there’s very little in the way of an actual game here: fundamentally it’s a very carefully constructed micro transaction machine, encouraging you at every turn to pay a little here, a little there, to keep moving forward without needing to wait, to add a different cute bit of content, to get an extra life so you can beat that puzzle. It may seem that there are lots of achievements to earn, but again it’s very much illusory. You’re given enough in the way of hints and resources to let you keep opening up new areas, getting new plants and wildlife etc, but the differences are cosmetic, so much so that the mammals hatch from eggs exactly as the birds do. Minimal challenge, constant encouragement to play and pay… it all feels so very pointless and cynical. But it’s *very* slickly constructed, I’ll give them that..Version: 1.19.2

✓ Nice game but an awful glitchHello whoever is reading this! This game is a very nice game. It’s easy to earn money, The animals are very cute, and I like how you guys put a delivery feature. Although there is a glitch. So you know how creatures get exhausted after working so hard? Well sometimes when I merge eggs and get an animal, it says it’s exhausted and it doesn’t even have an exhausted face! This is a very bad glitch and I don’t like it. And there other things too. Since I don’t have enough gems for hampers or baskets they just fill up my space and I have to sell them and then I have to buy coin cashes because it reaches to my money limit. And I feel like the stars don’t have good loot or maybe it’s because I just get the normal star and never merge them. But when I do get a Polished Star or higher they give the same loot. ✓ Lack of buy to play transparencySo I’ve been enjoying this wee game, it’s cute, engaging and right up my alley. However, now that I’m lvl 13, I need to ‘heal’ a certain number of land plots. I am one piece of land short & no thing else available to heal up. I can’t level up without completing this one thing, but the literal only way to get past it (thereby unlocking the new land I need to progress) is to spend $$. No other way to get through it in any way. At the very least, it should be flagged in the game description that it’s only f2p until a certain level.Version: 1.13.2

✓ Not my favoriteI am a merge game addict. I discovered my very first one about 3 years ago and have been hooked ever since. I only installed this one today but there are a few features I’ve found thus far that I PERSONALLY don’t care for. Not that they’re all necessarily bad, just not my jam. For instance, I don’t care for the match 3 feature. I wouldn’t mind it being there as an option, but I don’t like being forced to play it to advance in the main game. I’m here to merge! The animals are cute but they, as well as the other objects, are just too small for my old hands and eyes, and although there IS a zoom ability, it won’t stay zoomed in. Also, the main board tends to jump either out of zoom or to another location when things happen such as land healing. This has already caused me to accidentally collect objects I had intended to save for big merge. Overall, I like the premise of healing the garden and the cute artwork but I can’t say I’ll keep this one..Version: 1.5.8
✓ They’ve gotten cheap with rewardsI enjoyed playing this game for several months, but the most recent updates have steeply reduced rewards for solving even very difficult puzzles. Where once the player would receive 4-5 rewards, in addition to a “treasure chest,” now the chest counts as one, and the player receives only one other free reward. Any other “rewards” cost diamonds, which cost actual money. The developers need to understand that a reward that costs money is not a reward. It’s a purchase. As a retiree, I don’t have spare money to spend on these silly rewards. I willingly watch ads, which I know pay the developers to show them, but I can’t give them my money. I will very soon tire of this trick, and delete the game. There goes the ad revenue. Is it worth it, developers?.Version: 1.2.18

✓ Used to be funThis game used to be fun until it changed the number of puzzles you had to solve to pass the level same thing with the wildlife the higher the level the more you wildlife you need and it takes a lot of time to increase to that number without gems and paying money to get the gems. Also gems are not easily earned the floating bubble floats around to often the arrow for daily treasure doesn’t leave the screen until you click it. I was on level 46 and I notice around level 20 that they don’t offer you new land for completing levels so I would complete level 20 and they’re won’t be new land to unlock until level 22 which is kinda bad cause you have to do so much work just to get no land I would definitely try this game at a later time if they fixed a lot of these issues also the story line was good but it’s taking too long to keep my interest.Version: 1.18.4
✓ One goalThe game is fine other than the inability to progress along without having deep pockets to be able to afford the gems required to open the hampers that accumulate on the game squares. There is almost no option to get the required gems within the game other than your pocket book, so space is taken up with these hampers. Also, the number of gems required is way over the top for the reward received. After just a few days play, you reach a stalemate of repetition that has no clear path unless you choose to spend big. ✓ Merge GardenI played this game for several months and finally gave up. It seems easy enough but there is so much you have to know that is not intuitive. You are constantly going to the website to ask questions. The final straw for me was having to play a level of the puzzle part more than 50 times and still not winning. I was only in the high 300’s. The special events are a whole other matter. You mostly gather nectar the whole time. I played one event almost constantly for over two days of the 3 day event. I was so Bored! At the end of the event there was something that you had to know how to do or you couldn’t complete the event. I didn’t know how till it was too late. ✓ Gets Super Hard at Level 20I had a great time playing this game and even spent real money on it because I was having fun! But, then I hit level 20 and it became quite grueling. The fun dwindled as I repeatedly lost at the puzzles. I’m becoming quite disenchanted with this game now. It took me 2 days of trying (without spending real money) to beat one level. Now, I’m on the next one and it’s happening again. I will likely end up deleting the game. The reason I’m posting a review is to warn others. ✓ Used to be good…I’ve played this a long time and I played this one because I’m terms of value for money, it was the best. It was challenging enough and easy to progress at the same time. Now it’s pointless. You used to be rewarded with a star and 3-5 small items for completing a level, now you get one tiny thing. I haven’t unlocked new land in forever because the amount of things you have to do is completely ridiculous. Support no longer replies to any kind of query and it’s just turned into such a huge disappointment. The prices of things have shot up too. Absolutely no longer worth it which is a shame. ✓ Game ruined in last updateThis game was great, now it can only be played if you are willing to spend a lot of money. The ads give you nothing, the rewards are useless and the games are rigged and impossible to win without constantly spending money. A really great game destroyed. You can tell the games are rigged as 90% of the time you lose with 1 move to win. It’s not statistically possible to achieve that result that often. ✓ Long term and slow gameIf you want a game with little commitments and something to stare at, this is your game. In the beginning I was able to get through the levels fairly quickly. The option to level up is a great idea, until the quests are extremely time consuming. I ran out if space at level 13 and currently stuck at level 15. I’ve needed to let 40 wild seeds grow which has taken forever since 2 or 3 float by every 10-15 mins… and then take a few more minutes for them to “grow”. While I have to create 7 stage level 2 animals.. but at this point I’ve gotten the other level 2 animals too soon. If this was set to HAVE instead of CREATE, I would be on my way. This is all within the struggle of playing the merge levels but anything I do in between doesn’t count toward the next level of finishing levels. Again if there was a level cap quest, this would be ideal. I’m at puzzle level 76 and continuing has gotten me into trouble, running out of space. I also don’t like when you open the game and you have to “x” out of 5 different pop-ups that want you to pay. It makes me contemplate leaving as I’m closing the 3rd pop-up. I’m done with this game. Good concept, fun stories, cute animals that get in the way but it’s just too slow..Version: 1.17.6
✓ $$$$$In the beginning, there was lots of game time, and the experience was so fun but now after eight weeks, I no longer can pass a level without playing the same puzzle for a couple of days. You will be offered plenty of in game purchases that can enable you to move forward even to the extent that they come up while you were in the middle of your game on your screen. I started making purchases to support the game because I really enjoyed it until I realized that I no longer could move forward without a purchase. When contacting customer support about this, they had no answer other than go to the Facebook group for hints and tips. What I found was a lot of people not being able to get anywhere in their game without the frustration of playing the same puzzle over and over and over again. I take this time to leave this review because this game has a lot of potential. It’s too bad they can’t be a little more considerate of people and a little less money hungry..Version: 1.19.2

✓ Skill IssueI’ve tried an awful lot of merge games - I find them calming - and in many ways this is one of the best. I played it for a bit before it completely redid itself and added a story, and picked it up again a few days ago. Like all similar games it’s absolutely saturated with micro transactions but that’s just the mobile game landscape, for better or worse. But unfortunately one of its biggest upsides has become a downside - the match 3 levels for progression rather than simplistic merge puzzles, and levelling purely with quests rather than with amount of creatures. It was great for a bit, but the difficulty of the puzzles has been ramping up to the point where around 250ish I feel like they’re balanced specifically to make you spend money on various boosts and tools. I’ve been stuck on puzzle 260-something for about a day now and it’s time to uninstall I think. I bought a small gem pack early on, I’ve watched some ads, but ultimately I don’t think they care if they’re losing the small amount of revenue my play provides, it’s way more worth it to tool it towards folks who can throw big amounts of money at progression. Maybe I’m just bad at match-3 games! Maybe it’s just a matter of skill and I’m completely off base! But when I’ve put more time into a gem match puzzle than most Dark Souls bosses it’s time to admit that either it’s balanced for cash or I’m comically bad at this. ✓ Pointless upgradesI’ve been playing/wasting time on this game for a while now. Graphics were good. Special levels were not easy to complete but, if you spent 24 hours a day for the 3 days they ran, you could achieve it - if you were lucky. Now the devs have become greedy and they are virtually impossible to complete even with spending $$$ on them. The final straw came this evening when I went to play it and there has been a pointless change to the nectar drops. Now they look ugly, the colours have changed so it’s hard to tell which is worth more. ✓ Extremely boring game!The only great thing about this game is the cinematic ad video that got me to download the game. The graphics are great too but good Lord this game is extremely boring. It takes FOREVER to collect nectar to clear lands. The birds go to sleep too quick then you have to wait 20 minutes or longer for them to wake up to make nectar. You use them 3 times then they go to sleep again for 20 minutes. It requires a lot, and i mean A LOT of nectar to clear areas. Even at the beginning of the game. I played for maybe 15 minutes and already had to wait hours to clear land. Quite the dumbest idea for a developer to do honestly. Your areas get overflowing with eggs and useless stuff to the point you run out of room. You end up losing interest on the story, which thats another issue. Because of the long, very long waiting periods of times that you have to go through, there little to no interaction between characters. You just play for a minute and wait hours to collect nectar and clear lands. Probably the worst game ive ever played. Its just a waiting game, everything you do you have to wait hours and hours. Barely enjoyable. Don’t fall for the pretty advertisement video. There’s no instruction or information with the new updates (Sept 20). How do you smash the globe before it vanishes!? Do you really expect people to spend copious amounts of money? ✓ Very addictiveI am really enjoying this game. My only recommendation would be to make a different way of activating things like nectar! It takes a long to get to the higher levels of nectar and it is far to easy to accidentally tap on it 🤦🏻♀️ which is very frustrating. Maybe make it so you have to long press on it or something or have a confirmation button. Other than that absolutely loving it. ✓ Used to be goodThe game used to be quite good, but unfortunately it appears not enough money was being made on it because now there are non-stop attempts to get you to watch ads. Even the boosters that you earn can’t be used when you want them because once you get to 5 or less moves left, you have to watch an ad to use one. Also, the challenges are getting ridiculous. ✓ Normal levels are ok, events not worth itAt first glance and after playing this for a few weeks, the normal levels are fine and seem like any other match 3 type of game with varying difficulty. The events on the other hand are not worth it. The levels are harder to accomplish their goals with less total moves. Why this makes the events not worth it, is the fact you cannot advance in an event without passing these levels. No prizes or anything to help you with your normal levels. Only way to get passed most of these levels is to use gems which cost real money. I dont mind paying for things if there is a good reason. When every level is like this, it is not worth. This just shows this game is a money grab by the developers. They will say this is a free to play game yet the levels prove otherwise. ✓ Being remindedI usually don’t play match 3 games, and the longer I play this game the more I am reminded as to why I hate them. You can’t open new land without doing all the tasks and one of the tasks is always to win a certain amount of games. I play, and I play, and I play. I just played a super hard game. Used all my boosts. Had TWO tiles to clear, watched an ad to get extra moves. Guess what? I watched the ad and got NOTHING. ✓ Still just okI loved it when it started, but they replaced some characters and I’m not feeling it. Much of the charm of the game is gone. Gramma’s gone, interim female character gone, some other new female character now. Dude with a bird on his head is not as appealing as the stork. Glad the hedgehog is gone but he could’ve been reworked to be cute, maybe more like a real one in your garden. They’ve added supposed mystery but it’s just uncovering characters it seems. Some ui has improved but then that made space for more unnecessary stuff on the screen. The biggest annoyance is the daily trade, ie, “give me x of this and you’ll get x of that,” the arrow never goes away after you look at it. You have to complete it for it to go away, so you always see it when you’re in other parts of the garden directing you to go back to it. It’s like, I saw it, am not doing it, be gone. It’s not going to make me complete it, more like stop playing. Now when your score goes up, it pops up in the middle of the screen, very annoying. If it takes god knows how long for your lives to refill, THEN you have to actually play the level and even clear the clouds, THEN you have to merge the next or high enough to unlock anything. The events are simply not long enough to finish all of that without paying gems which i am sure a lot of players simply either refuse to or cannot pay for. ✓ You can play for HOURSBut the game is full of glitches, so you have to keep exiting out and going back in. Suddenly, you’re unable to sell the magic bubble or baskets unless you exit out and re-open the game. The bubble that continuously floats around your garden and blocks your view doesn’t even work when you tap on it to watch a video to get a free item. Nothing happens when you tap the button. You’ll be gifted each day with eggs that you can’t hatch unless you buy them using gems. Want to use the hen house to store all those useless eggs? You need to buy the slots using gems. While playing the match puzzles, you’ll create a bomb and it won’t destroy anything but itself. The puzzles get so increasingly difficult that there’s no way to solve them without using gems - cheapest is $5 - and as you level up, the more puzzles you have to play to expand your garden. I’m at having to complete 15 before I can expand and I only got that far because I caved and spent $5. I’m not willing to keep spending, so I’ll be deleting the game soon. It’s really such a shame, because if they fixed the glitches, gave you free access to the hen house, if you could harvest gems and if the puzzles were solvable on the second try without having to use gems, this would be s number one, top notch game. ✓ Fun dual game but…This is a fun engaging game that I get sucked into for hours especially during events. The duality of this game makes it unique, it is a merge game, yes but it also features a match 3 puzzle game integrated and intricate to leveling up which makes this a really cool game… on the downside accidental merges happen all the time because the touch interface can be a little glitchy at times. Their response to these issues in their faqs page is a let down and in general the issues department has issues. When you reach higher levels the amount of space that you can open each level gets smaller and smaller and does not accommodate the fact that you need a ton of space to merge those high level items and thus you can’t do anything unless you delete items. There should be a storage area like a lot of these games have. Also you don’t have friends to help you with match three energy and other things that would be useful..Version: 1.18.2

✓ Are you serious?I play games for many years now, different ones but one is a merge game just like Merge Gardens and Fishdom and 3 others. Fishdom is known to be expensive because the ‘puzzles’ are impossible to solve without boosters. This game here is a combination of Fishdom and for example Merge Dragons. I play Fishdom for 7 years so I can solve the ‘puzzle’ without a booster 80%. Merge gardens is the most expensive game I have ever played and I also deleted it just again, despite having paid for the daily gems. Everything costs ridiculous amounts of gems - 25 if you need 5 more draws in the puzzle! And the puzzles are extremely difficult even for a seasoned player for this kind of game. ✓ I really really like this game however the animals get in the waySo it’s been years of playing and loving this game I finally got around to write a review and let me tell you how much I love this game. The animals are so cute, the events give a whole new perspective and opportunity on becoming rich and being able to do what you want in the game, the masterpieces are beautiful and worth creating considering what they give and the levels are more challenging as you go but equally as rewarding. Now the part below is how I feel after years of playing the game it’s just my opinion and the drawbacks I’ve had. The animals are cute but they get in the way of my merging every time. For example I’m looking to merge wood and they fly towards where I’m merging it can be ignored sometimes but the bigger they get the more annoying it is and even if I try to change where I’m merging they always follow me. Directly and indirectly causing me to make more mistakes while merging I will however give credits to the developers for making 5 item merging easier since we no longer loose the sixth item which was nearby and got in the way. It isn’t just a problem for the animals however the dandelions and pup up ads do the same thing I try to move and ignore them but they just get in the way. I used to be able to spend hours and hours on the game when it was older but now it’s hard to stay for even 30 minutes without being bombarded and quite frankly crippled into inefficiently having to move everything every time it shows up and that also makes me make more mistakes. This one is a problem I have with games in general but since merge gardens used to be different I can’t help but mention it : as soon as you open the game they bombard you with promotions and events that wouldn’t be a problem if you could get out of the event window easily but they won’t let you until you check out every detail and tap on the paying button witch will give you more reward as you go trough the event. I know you can simply tap somewhere else but it’s cash grabby to constantly force you to check out their promotions witch are literally at the top of the screen for you to check out anyway so why force me to look every single time I open the app. And I know game making takes time and effort witch is probably why they force us to look at what they made and how well it’s made but not every time I open the app. And it’s not just with events and promotions it’s every time I make a master piece I have to stop and wait for the masterpiece animation to go away. And once more that would not be a problem if I could skip it after making the same masterpiece for the 30 th time. ✓ Needs disposal option!!I absolutely love this game! Restoring the garden plots is very satisfying and the puzzles keep me on my toes. All of the birds and creatures are beautiful and I love seeing the changes when they stage up. However, I have accumulated so many hampers (which I can not and will not use) that they take up at least half of my garden and I have no space left for actual items that I build. I will be uninstalling because I have no way to continue playing! I can not unlock more plots without more creatures, but can not get more creatures without board space for the eggs to merge to get them. Developers should provide an option to dispose of or delete items if the player should want or need to. I love the garden you unlock piece by piece in home screen. The problem is moving up in the game.. you’re lucky if you get 1-10 coins per puzzle level you beat. At least before this last update you would get 2-4 free items for winning the level. Now you only get one. That’s not an incentive to beat levels, at all! The creatures are wonderful and I appreciate the work you’ve done to find and depict them. All in all I really enjoy and recommend this game. I do wish for more space as more chains need more stages to build. I cleared all the pink land already; was worth it to me to get a good start. But I prefer to do multiple projects at once so I can keep it fresh, and the crowding does get frustrating some times. 4.5 stars. Update - not any more. I got this for relaxation, and now it just frustrates. The garden is full, and there’s nothing new to merge. Not entertaining to just make things and delete them. There are also some very frustrating parts of the game that is making me play less and less. 1: every time I try to move something, the whole screen moves with it, wish there was a way to lock it into place, so I can move a flower or tree without taking the whole screen with it. 2: the birds are a awesome touch, however they are always in the way, and when I try to move them, usually again the whole screen goes with it. 3: there is not enough space, and to purchase small areas for the cost, no thanks. Gems are hard to accumulate because hampers cost wayyy too much to open them up to free up space. I bought 2 pieces of land and they are filled completely with hampers so that purchase was useless on my part. ✓ Passing levels becomes impossible!I’m very disappointed because I actually enjoyed this game very much at first. Sadly, I have had the same experience as MANY people in the reviews in which the puzzles were fairly easy at the beginning of the game and then became very difficult to pass. There is no reason that so many people should be having to spend money just to advance. It’s obviously not a skill issue. You have to pass usually at least a dozen puzzle levels to level up and get new missions. This would be fine except that almost every single one takes forever to win. It is clearly set up so that the player is at a huge disadvantage and nowadays that is usually just a ploy to get people to spend their money. If you don’t advance, the game gets VERY boring, and it becomes impossible to do so without spending money. If the developer actually cared about improving the experience of their players, and not JUST about making money, they would answer with more than the “some levels are more difficult than others” response. That means that they don’t even care to look into it even though there are TONS of reviews saying the exact. same. thing. It makes me sad because this game has a lot of potential. I tried to do the next game but I lost immediately! There is now no reason to play..they just want money. :I’m done. It’s so frustrating and when it gets like that it’s hard to play and it’s boring. I’ve tried to tell you what to do to get the game interesting but you all don’t listen and I’m tired of trying. ✓ VERY EXPENSIVE. BEWARE!This game soon draws you in and is great fun to start with however, it very quickly becomes impossible to pass any levels without spending more money. When I asked for help, I was given the usual answer along the lines of ‘some of the levels are meant to be challenging’ which is no help at all in my opinion. ✓ Used to be 5 ⭐️It used to be a five star game but in the last couple of months your improvements have started costing… Not just money and lots of my $$$but it’s costing time! This game used to be fun it’s not longer fun! Out of all the games I have on my phone this is the only one that I have not deleted after a month or two but at the end of the gym subscription that I recently purchased I will be deleting this game!! Which is pretty sad because I’ve been playing this game for quite a while and I do mean well over a year! Which is a very long time for someone who has Trumatic brain injury! The great little mini games are just that they are great! ✓ Like itI like the game but am hating the puzzles. I am stuck on puzzle 57 with no way to solve it. Only get 25 chances which is so not enough to break open the boxes. ✓ Too expensiveI was enjoying playing this game until I had accumulated so many hampers it was ridiculous. I am not paying for gems in order to open them. I ended up deleting the game because of this. I am on a low income and can’t afford to pay the exorbitant amounts that you charge. I would have liked to be able to progress through the game but no chance of that with the small amount of gems that the game gives you and the ridiculous amount required to open the hampers. ✓ Merge GardensI have played this game for more than a year now and has been my top game because of the different playing options. The merge aspect can be played continually once you have enough creatures, and the match game levels are creative and challenging. I am however changing my 5 star review to a 3 star review because the new additions to the game are a complete disappointment. They are no longer based on the ‘merge’ part but on playing the game levels, which I can get in so many other versions of that type of game already. Please don’t make beating a difficult game level be the priority to play in the bonuses like you did in Tropical Paradise..Version: 1.8.2
✓ DisappointingI downloaded this game because of the catchy ad. At first, it was a fantastic game. It incorporated a lot of what I like in games - puzzles, merging, and a story to boot (kind of). HOWEVER, one thing I noticed right off the bat is how difficult the levels became to clear shortly after beginning this game. I also noticed that we are not given a ton of items at the beginning to help start us off. I honestly sometimes like really easy puzzles with the occasional hard one but these are just annoying when I’m trying to get them complete to keep merging and advancing. Another thing I noticed is everything takes gems - not coins - and the gems are not given out very often AT ALL. This is one of those games where it feels like you have to pay a ton of money to get anywhere. I hate it because I REALLY liked this game, but I don’t want to spend much if at all. I spent a little bit to get gems and an extra garden, but I don’t think I can play this anymore. I guess I’ll stick to Lily’s Garden or Homescapes where they actually throw a bunch of freebies at you occasionally or let you win stuff to help you get through the game..Version: 1.17.6
✓ Glitchy AF!!This is a fun game and I enjoy playing it to unwind...however the glitchyness has me not wanting to play it anymore. The whole app just freezes and then shuts down every 2-5 mins and then when you go back in you have to redo all the work you've just done. Sorry by I don't have the patience to keep redoing work every time the app shuts down. It glitched 3 times in the space of 5mins which is now why I'm leaving a review. ✓ Losing patienceWhen I first started playing this game I enjoyed it. Couldn’t get enough of it. Now it has become tedious as the match 3 games have become virtually impossible. ✓ So cute and a great time passerI think this is the cutest merge game ever there are some things I love like the fact that items don’t accidentally merge on their own like other games and the events but there are a few thing I do not like at all for example the mini games... you just gotta play straight thru, can’t go back or replay and so you must wait or miss out on supplies. The thing that’s really got me teetering on deleting the game is this tho.... I can’t get boosters i merge and don’t get boosters in puzzle game then I paid for a package and still the boosters do not go to the puzzle game I’m pretty upset with this one I’m missing at least 20 boosters if these 2 things could get fixed it would be a 5 star game no doubt.Version: 1.2.10
✓ FrustratingI’ve just deleted the game - I’ve played Merge Dragons on and off for years, but the puzzles are so impossible that it’s stopping me progressing in the game at an early stage. The puzzles are only match three type puzzles, so rely on algorithms, and are just impossible to do easily - I play these games for fun, repeating the same stupid board over and over just so that I can progress in the actual game is not my idea of fun.
