✓ Log inLoved this game when i started playing it. I took a break of it for a long time and wanted to come back to continue . Lost all ive done cause i cant log in to neither facbook nor apple. I have to start from the begining , and now im afraid ill lose everything again if i dont log to something. But i just cant lol. Too many ads compared to before, and less choices too. I had a lot of furnitures that i didnt even had to pay or watch a video to get. Now theres some furnitures i had (that cost me nothing, not even an ad to watch) that you have to pay with real money. ✓ OverworkedI have been playing this game since it was so new that I would finish the available levels and then have to wait for them to finish making more. It was very fun. Now they seem to be victims of their own success. There are so many side games that the original storyline, which I thought was cheesy but enjoyable, is buried under an avalanche of holiday missions with barely a break between them. It is currently almost a week after Valentine’s Day and I opened the game this morning, as I do daily, to discover a Valentine’s Day side mission. Why so late? Because they had another mission that just ended and then a sale of stuff from Christmas and now we are on to Valentine’s Day a week late. The developers’ enthusiasm for trying to keep the users entertained will be their undoing. If you are going to have side missions, I would love it if after they have been seen and skipped, that I don’t get constant reminders that I have skipped a mission that I didn’t care about. For example, I did not care about Christmas nor Panda Day. The constant forcing of the side mission that I wanted to skip drove me away for over two months. I just stop in to get the daily award, see that I am still being nagged with yet another inescapable side mission, and leave hoping for another day when I can just go in and play the main game that I truly enjoyed in peace..Version: 1.18.0

✓ Great gameFor the last update they changed the lighting of the screen so that it's bright in the center and darker on the edges (like using a flashlight). I thought it was a Halloween aesthetic and I'm really hoping it goes away SOON because it makes it hard to see anything. The initial rooms (living, bedroom, kitchen) had nice designs (though some options are just a head-scratcher), but the later rooms (dance hall, cat room) are confusing. The design options are almost all bad, the uses for the rooms a waste of space, and I would like it better if there was more room for mixing-and-matching instead of having styles that are so distinct you have to stick to one or the room looks wrong. The balcony started off with such promise - gorgeous designs - but ALL of the flooring options are bafflingly bad and ruins the whole effect - just give a basic white tile option! The giant closet that exists for some reason has good furniture options again, but most of the room remains empty when you're done. It's a mix of so great and so bad. I'm still going to play the game (for now), I just hope the designs begin to make sense again..Version: 1.1.11
✓ BuggyFun but a lot of the ‘tournaments’ and such disappear days or hours before they actually expire so it’s super hard to get extra rewards, which makes it super frustrating. Also a lot of words aren’t recognised and the game is super plot heavy, wasting tokens on furthering plot rather than renovating..Version: 2.8.5
✓ MehIt’s a fun game but after a while the story is super slow. The characters all walk so slowly and the pauses between are painful. There are some errors in the dialogue e.g her mum has a whole conversation to herself because they forgot to switch the character talking. This a minor thing. The storyline also gets in the way of actually decorating the house. There are so many tasks involving having to go throw a party or the entire storyline putting Oscar in his place. I just want to decorate the house. To get through it quickly, you need to play almost every minute of the day. The kitchen is so ugly. Nothing matches. Why is the choice for wallpaper yellow, green or red?? At least make one of the yellow options another colour. The furniture in there is old and feels out of place in relation to the other furniture in the house. There are words that exist in one level that don’t exist in others. At least make it consistent. How is the “sec” a word in one game and not in others? How is “excited” not a word?? It’s extremely frustrating..Version: 1.17.0

✓ Fix this!!!!!I absolutely adore this game and I have been playing it for a very long time. I highly recommend because it is nothing like any of the other “design a house” games (in a good way) because the levels are achievable even after the first room and it’s actually an enjoyable story to follow. There is no need for purchases to continue playing(which is absolutely awesome and cred to the creators for making it that way).There are occasional glitches, but that is the deal with literally every game, so you can’t give anyone’s hard time about that. There is no such thing as a perfect game with no glitches. All you you have to do is restart your phone/tablet/etc. and it’s problem solved. But the latest update, which I just downloaded a couple days ago, has really messed mine up. The game won’t open at all. I will open the app, and it will go to the loading screen and then immediately turn black and won’t open. I’ve restarted my phone several times and nothing is working, the problem is still occurring even after that. I have a lot of progress in this game and I don’t want to start over. Please look into this and fix it! I really want to continue playing this game. I am only rating it one star so that it might get your attention, and I will change it after this problem gets fixed. ✓ Will not let me open app once downloadedThis has become quite frustrating for me as I really like the look of the game and would like to try it out at least. Once I download from the App Store, I click on the app to open it and it shuts down immediately. I’ve tried deleting and downloading again, turning phone off and back on again, then tried downloading again to no avail!! This is pointless if I can’t even open the game!!.Version: 1.18.0
✓ Quite entertainingThis game has some very good aspects. But as with all mobile games, you get what you pay for. If you cannot put money into it I find the adverts after every single level of a completed word finder, is very frustrating and boring. Also the constant dialogue and stories are definitely for the patient people, unfortunately the Mills and Boons type romance stories are not for me. The great points are, you are able to decorating without spending a fortune, the rewards you can earn are very decent, and I love the word finder level 106 after only a few days of playing. So as far as mobile games go, this one is still quite good..Version: 2.4.0

✓ TicketsWhat I first downloaded this game it was amazing. Because you didn’t have to spend any money to have a good time playing. However, after the update this game was changed from having a free item, a video item and two items you had to pay game coins for either 100 or 200 coins to a free item, a video item and one item for coins that is much more expensive and the last item changed to costing tokens that cost real world money. The update also made actions cost more stars which is a little upsetting because now you have to do more for a simple task. Because of the update and now having to use tokens for some design items there are less items to get when putting rooms together which is disappointing. The update has also put a maximum on the amount of flowers you can have but the amount I had before the update remains the same and there is nothing I can spend them on. There should be more collectibles. Besides these flaws and gameplay disappointments the game is still really fun I just wish the game could be reverted back to how it was a few months ago when you didn’t have to pay to have fun. I understand people have to make money but there are other game elements that cost token like stories, clothing, or word hints, so i feel it should be taken out of the house design. ✓ There’s always a but 🙄I would like to preface this by saying I thoroughly enjoy this app and play it on an almost daily basis. Really cute story line, I love that the levels are challenging - but not so challenging you want to pull your hair out! However, there are some bugs that still need to be fixed. One bug I have encountered that’s not a huge deal, but an annoyance just the same, occurred when I changed the wall option in my living room and something went wonky! I changed the wall papering on the side where the fireplace is, and now the wall is overlapping the left side of the fireplace and sits in front of those cabinets. The other bug I have encountered happens when you end a round and an ad pops up. The ads often freeze once it gives you the option to skip the ad, forcing the player to close the app out entirely and re-open. This wouldn’t be such a big deal, except it seems to happen after almost every round you play. As of right now, I typically play the game in airplane mode to avoid the ads altogether. However, this is an issue when you want to watch an ad to receive specific types of furniture. The ads often freeze with this as well making it almost impossible to get some of the furniture you want. Because of these issues, I am giving the app 3 stars. This really is a 5 star game, but with these issues, it really decreases my desire to want to open the app and play..Version: 1.1.15
✓ Fun to decorate, but...I was excited about a non-match 3 game that involved decorating a mansion. But there are just so many inanities with this game, it’s hard to know where to start. As many others have said, the grammar is atrocious. Why non-English speakers would attempt to create an English word game is beyond me. Words that are true words (forest, anyone??) are flagged as errors, while other words are so strange, you wonder what dictionary they dredged them from. Then there is the story line. Way too wordy and all too frivolous. Finally, there are the rooms themselves. The downstairs was fine- I liked the way the rooms turned out. But upstairs, ugh!!! She’s hoping to turn her place into a B and B, but turns one of her upstairs rooms into a bar and dance hall? On the whim of a bored guest? And then there is... drum roll... THE CAT ROOM! What idiot takes an entire room - especially if she plans on hosting guests- and turns it into a playroom for a cat??? I really just want to play and decorate, not sit there reading a long conversation between people or pressing ‘skip’ every single time. ✓ It was time to delete...Took this game off my phone yesterday. I started when it was pretty new and I enjoyed it. Sweet n simple. I like having a quick and easy game on my phone for playing in short bursts or when my brain is fried from a long day, and this worked for that! It always had a few bugs but I didn’t mind. The game’s quality has gone steadily downhill, though. Levels are repetitive and the game’s dictionary is inconsistent - it might accept a word in one level but not in the next. Also, the recently-added 3D character models are unsettling, with their eyes always open super wide! As for the story half - where I care the most about quality, honestly - I don’t personally mind how long it takes for new content to come out, but I DO mind that it’s sloppier each time. Spelling and grammar errors, continuity problems, etc. abound in recent story updates and events. Dialogue often reads like it was written by someone who speaks English as a second language. The characterization was solid early on but grows shakier with each update, and romantic tension/love triangles (or more-than-triangles) are being shoehorned in where they weren’t before. For example, one side character, Taylor, was merely friendly with the player character for a long time, and showed romantic interest in her best friend. Suddenly he’s being presented as a romantic option for the player character, and far more obnoxious in his attitudes than he ever was before! I’m not that hard to keep hooked once I care about a character but things have gotten so messy I find I can’t even stay invested any more. On top of all of that, players are constantly inundated with new special events, some of which are completely out of season, and all of which are just as sloppily-produced as everything else. Instead of focussing time and effort on a single quality product, the developers seem more interested in rapidly turning out one slapdash, gimmicky new bit of material after another. Between messy gameplay, mediocre graphics, and a story so shoddy it’s no longer remotely engaging, the game is unfortunately no longer worth playing..Version: 2.2.0

After the recent update, the game doesn’t work. It crashes immediately at opening. As I couldn’t resort to in app support, I sent emails to the email address given and never received even an automated reply forget about a personal one. ✓ Tiresome storyline and a kazillion addsThe puzzles are great but the storyline is way too drawn out. It takes forever for the story to play out so that you can get the next task. Even if you click on skip you still have to wait forever. I counted twelve skip clicks to move one section along! It’s fairly typical of the set up. It slows the game down too much and kills the enjoyment. . I just want to do the puzzles and decorate without going through a whole heap of pointless and badly written dialogue. I’m heartily sick of sitting through the same ads over and over. They are constantly interrupting game play. ✓ Eh..I really like this game. I prefer word combos than matching games. But there’s a good amount of things to complain about. 1. You earn stars by completing levels and those stars should be used to complete the purpose of the game, such as to finish remodeling the house. However, the stars are sometimes used to develop the story between the main character and her friend or her “lover” or her parents and before you know it, you’ve wasted 10 stars on some flirting and a pajama party. No remodeling. 2. I usually skip through the dialogue simply because every time I try to “involve” myself in the story, I get irritated with the poor grammar and spelling. I know not all of us speak perfect English (myself included being that it’s my second language) but this is.. this is off. Like really off. 3. The graphics are not the best either, I get glitches often and my character ends up Danny Phantom’ing through the walls. 4. The design choices. The. Design. Choices. The kitchen was going relatively ok until I got to the wallpaper choices. Let’s just say, it looked better before the remodel. Anyways enough ranting. ✓ Great game but bad spellingI really love that this game doesn’t rely on energy regeneration like a lot of others in the genre but, good god, the spelling is terrible. Lost my streak twice on level 339 because, apparently, ‘forest’ and ‘softer’ aren’t words. Vole is fine but they must be solitary creatures as voles is not allowed. Some American slang is in there but not others. ‘Its’ is allowed, despite genitives not normally being permitted. There’s just no consistency. The characters are also all super irritating! ✓ Please read me!Hi reader! I really loved the look of this game, I play loads of the puzzle and story games but I never get far as I can’t beat the levels. So when u saw this I was thinking “ wow “. It was perfect for me. I downloaded it after reading the reviews and was so excited to play! But then I became disappointed. I opened the game and got past the loading screen clicked play and then the game crashed on me... I tried again, and again! But it wouldn’t work so I restarted my phone. Still didn’t work. So I deleted the app and reinstalled it and still hasn’t worked. I really want to play the game but I can’t. If you as the reader or the developer can give me any advice please do as it sounds like a really fun game. ✓ It’s great BUTThis fame is great to pass the time but there is a few things that should be sorted. 1: CUT SCENES The cut scenes are horrid. You can press skip but some times the character starts to talk again and then you have to press skip again ! I’m a big hater when it comes to cut scenes but this game takes the biscuit on them. Please let us skip the whole thing. It wastes so much of my time to the point where I have just collected the stars instead of doing the task simply because of the cut scenes 2: ADVERTS They are the second most annoying thing on this game. You can remove them with a fee £1.99 now I don’t have an issue with paying this but that only gets rid of the ads for 30day !!!! You should get rid of them forever !!! Like most of the other games I play you pay a small fee to get rid of ads. Again please change this and the cut scenes. ✓ StorylineLet me start off by saying that I do actually love the game aspect of this app. I’m on level 1005. You don’t get that far into a game, without liking it. It is by far the most fair decorating game I’ve played. The levels never become impossible. It doesn’t cost an insane amount for furniture. You can quickly finish a room. Heck, I can even handle that despite the fact that this is a word game, there are some major grammatical errors. The only thing that would make this perfect. Is if you were allowed to pick your storyline. Honestly, I am fine with having a storyline. In fact, I like that aspect. However, sometimes it’s incredibly silly, random or flat out makes no sense. I know the story has to change to “fit events,” but a little bit more continuity would be nice. Also, I’ve seen so many different storylines on Facebook that I would prefer to read. Other than that. It’s an awesome game! Edit: Wow, that was quick. I gave this game 4 stars. But about 20 minutes later changed it to 3. Why? Because I started reading other reviews and realized SO MANY PEOPLE have the same complaints I have. Literally for months on end. Exact. Same. Negative comments. ✓ Can’t update Word VillaWhen I got home from work, I went to play Word Villa, it said there was a major Christmas update, so I press on Update takes me to the app, instead of saying up date it just said open! Every time I went to press on update it keeps taking me to the app but doesn’t update just says open all the time. Been going back and forth trying to update but keeps doing the same thing. 👎🏼 and in my App store there is no update for Word villas so it’s a little conflicting you try to start the app it says update but when you press on update it’s not anywhere to be seen in the list to update, so at the moment I’d only rate it 2/5. ✓ It’s okayIt’s fun for what it is, though the app does close a lot which can get annoying. My main gripe is that the story is all over the place and the mission headers don’t match what is actually happening within the story. I’m told to do something with Eugene, yet all the character does is feed the cat. I get another mission to do something with Eugene, but she goes off to find who is creeping around her property (whom turns out to be Edward, and Rachel is acting like she has no idea who is, as if it’s the first time meeting him when he’s been helping her with indoor plants for a while now and she even invited the guy to a dinner party which she arranged to thank everyone for their help!) Some words don’t make sense, some words are spelt wrong, some words are ‘made’ that aren’t even words. ✓ Great game! Just a few changes...I love this game so much, and it is very addictive! But I have noticed that the spelling in the dialogue has many mistakes and a lot of spaces are missing. I would expect more from this game considering how well everything else is done (and this is basically a spelling game). Also, most of the words in the levels make absolutely no sense and I can guarantee nobody uses them. So overall, I do recommend this game, but I highly suggest using an unscrambler app to help if you are only here for the decorating part. Edit: I have also found many extremely annoying glitches with items not showing up. Two examples I have found are: when you go up to the house, the chair on the left of the table on the right of the main sidewalk does not appear. Also, when you go up the stairs, the wallpaper in the hallway does not appear. It is just the gross wallpaper from before I changed it. This is probably one of the most annoying parts of the game because my house is not complete (keep in mind I have not finished the game so their could be many more glitches I do not know about yet). Another problem I found is, half of the time, in the dialogue, characters are saying what the other character was supposed to say! This is also very annoying and it definitely needs to be fixed! ✓ Love the game but ...I really enjoy this game, it’s addictive and different from the usual match 3 ones. However .... 1. It is one of the largest apps on my phone (in fact it’s only surpassed by WhatsApp!) 2. It needs to download what I assume are updates annoyingly often but you can’t update it in the App Store ... you have to have the game open but can’t play until it’s finished it’s ridiculously large download. 3. I have thousands of blossoms but absolutely nothing to do with them. Maybe an option to ‘buy’ the hints with them or use them to pay for one of the furniture options when you update would be a good idea..Version: 2.3.0

✓ Needs workI very much like that it’s a word game and not another match 3. But it still needs a lot of work. The grammar is bad, sometimes it makes no sense and seems very childish. The word search is weird too because it will not let you use words like Celt and there are other words too but you can use this abbreviated word (cine). It’s very annoying to have to use your points just to talk to someone and sometimes it says that you are playing for something and you don’t get item. And why is it every game like this has a cat I’m not a cat person I like dogs. The furnishings in this game are not very good either for instance none of the rugs match and there's at least 3 in every room and they over stuff the rooms with, well just junk. And they took the best room in the house and made it a cat room sad. I thought it’s supposed to be turned into a B&B yet they take another room and turn it into a disco (should have used the old garage for a disco) and another into a closet. Its just a mishmash of stuff. It’s like 10 year olds got together and developed this game. ✓ Summary.So we been playing a few months now, game seem pretty stable on my iPad, no major crashing issues. Some of the decorations are quite childish, as are the graphics. if you hit the times bonus it only times the flowers not the actual gold coins so don’t kill yourself trying to get that, as for the flowers, once you have bought all of the collectibles, that’s it, you cant spend the flower on anything else so you are collecting a dead reward. It is great to sit with kids and play together as if used right, it can be a game that teaches without them realising they are learning, over all an average game..Version: 1.17.0
✓ Could be betterThe puzzle side of the game is really very good, but the decorating and doing up the house side of the game not so good. The sorry is so long winded even when you press skip it doesn’t skip the whole conversation, when skip is pressed the whole conversation should be skipped and you can love on much quicker. As for using the stars, is there any need to be using two stars each time to make toast, bake a cake, to ask if the character is happy etc the stars should be used to actually decorate and get furniture and that sort of thing not for making cups of tea. The collectible should be more frequent I’ve collected so many flowers but I’ve purchased all the collectible with them they not been updated and no more has been added what’s the point of collecting the flowers but nothing to buy with them. More competitions are needed as well and using 200 pieces of your coins to get a hint is quite a lot considering other games only use 50 and 100 pieces 🤷♀️ The game/videos keep crashing as well which is very annoying..Version: 1.1.15
✓ Needs more workNice idea, nice graphics, but ... Basically it is a story telling app, with a word finding side quest. I get that you need sponsorship, but having a sponsor advert between every word game is frustrating. The story is fine if you like that sort of thing, but I skip through it because I like the word finding and room changing parts better. Having said that, the choices for room changing are quite poor at this stage of development. You can only change what is listed, usually one or two choices. What you can change to is very limited, with only 1 free option...the other 3 or 4 options you watch video or pay coin to claim. You cannot change location of an item or room layout... so all in all it is not really a creative game. ✓ Frozen gameI had made up to $20,000 in coins. I spent some to buy furniture but didn’t use it to buy words. If I got stuck there is an unscramble words app I use plus my dad and I do crosswords in ink. They said I got to $13,000 coins but spent over $700 on buying coins. Which I can’t find how you can but coins with coins. Also my dad was watching me play and my game froze saying stay tuned to further content. I thought the were making a New Years story or something. When I logged back on my coins were gone and week later it still says stay tuned to further content. I’ve complained over and over and have not gotten the issue fixed or my coins returned. I read on a group site that this has happened to a lot of people and they quit the game since no one would help them. I played this game day and night due to being disabled and it’s the first game app I’ve ever played and was totally addicted to it and was having so much fun. So pray you don’t have a problem cause this company doesn’t seem to care and don’t spend your money cause if the game freezes up you will lose all your coins, flowers, points and money. ✓ Good, but buggyI love the idea, but the execution needs some refinement. I named my main character “Cassie” but she still gets called “Rachel” every once in awhile. There are some strange things happening in the animations, such as mouths lifting off the face during expression changes, and arms twisting in odd angles when they move. Layering issues in the environment will sometimes make the character pass through furniture, or old furniture will stay under new items instead of disappearing. Also, the game itself feels slow; I’m a huge fan of both Wordscapes and Gardenscapes, and part of what makes those games so addictive is that they’re *fast*. I feel like I have to be very slow and careful with the letters in Word Villas, and it doesn’t feel very accurate to my finger like Wordscapes. I’ve broken so many combos because I see a lot of words and want to get them out as fast as possible. The art style itself is *adorable*, and like I said, I love the concept of the game! ✓ Love itI have tried several games of this sort but I have been unable to play I can’t get past 2 or 3 on homescapes and Pearl. I’m older and love the game I even love the story line. It’s so cute. I can’t wait for the next chapter. IT IS THE BEST GAME LIKE THIS OUT THERE . They are not money hungry grubbing people which makes me want to spend money. They don’t stop you from playing to go to the next level for money. They say you can buy it anytime. That is so awesome to me. On the first I will buy a few things every month on the first. I think the only complaint I have is sometimes it is exhausting when you have to do 3 hard games for me it’s to much and I have to take a break. Go back a bit later but other than that it’s wonderful. Lol BTW I’m a dog person. I’ve been playing a while now the game has gotten harder I’ve never heard of a lot of the words you have to play. ✓ It’s ok but I’m confusedSo I have this other game that when you watch videos you get rewards, and when I was watching a video this game was the main idea I kept seeing the same ad for the same game, and finally one day I downloaded it and it was not what the advertisement was saying, yes you do crossword puzzles but I saw that there was a storyline to it. The storyline was that this woman is pregnant and she finds her boyfriend cheating on her so she decides to move to where she grew up, and in the beginning she was not pregnant she just noticed that her boyfriend was cheating on her, so my question is, is the ad just teasing you into getting the game or is it true? I’m just annoyed that this story is boring and the words are IMPOSSIBLE to figure out, half of the words that are in the game I have never even heard of before! I’m also annoyed in how it takes 2 stars to do stupid things like “call Beth”, or water the garden. I don’t like it because like I said before it takes FOREVER to do one crossword puzzle, and I always have to ask someone for help on it, it take at least 15 minutes to do like one crossword. ✓ Fun but expensively frustratingFun and a little sassy which is a nice change frankly tired of so many childish games when kids these days are 10 years ahead of they actual age anyways, not realistic. However the words allowed are not English, and spelling is frustrating. ✓ Fun adjacentThis game has a decent premise but is extremely slow, and rather boring. It needs a major rewrite. Too many ads, bad grammar, and draggy filler scenes. This could be quite fun with a decent update. It would be far more fun with more social plot, more choices for the character, and Id really like to ditch the cat. How about a pet choice like a dog or parrot.... Each scene is difficult to bypass, the skip and forward buttons dont work and you HAVE to play out each super boring dialog box. They say things like “oh kitty, do you want to play? Do you need a toy? Let me get you a new toy”. The plot is super dopey and needs tons of work, Id prefer a social decision making plot similar to choices. You should be able to set your own word challenge game level and rewards should increase with difficulty. The word game is overly simplistic and similar to other crossword letter connect games. The furniture for the house is hideous unless you watch videos or use saved coins. Still is free to play. The design and word game idea has significant potential. ✓ Great idea, terrible executionI’ve been doing my best to give this game the benefit of the doubt because I really like the concept. Designing things is fun and I enjoy crosswords so it’s a fun game. You have reasonable/easy access to all the furniture and they don’t try to wring you for money. However the game play is appalling. There are countless spelling mistakes, the story and dialog have so many errors (ie their sentences make no sense, a character says something that doesn’t make sense for them to say, etc.) that it becomes difficult to understand anything that goes on. It reads like a paper a fifth grader turned in without double checking their work. Not to mention the anagrams themselves. I don’t know what dictionary they use but it’s not a credible source. It claims words like “rale” are real while actual real words like “fatter” and “games” are counted as incorrect. It’s also inconsistent level to level, sometimes counting a word, other times not. Overall, I like the idea but the execution is just so terrible that I had to give it a poor review and I don’t usually give reviews. If they worked on the mechanics of their game it could be a pretty great game, but as of right now, I’m fed up with it..Version: 1.1.11

✓ Really enjoy, but...Overall, I like this game a lot. I prefer this over all those match three games, because in my opinion, those get too difficult and boring after a while. I like the style of this game and the concept, but I’m giving it three stars because I cannot STAND the dialogue and grammar. You can tell it’s written by someone who either doesn’t speak fluent English or is just bad with grammar and it’s very sloppy and unprofessional. There are also huge blocks of dialogue that make no sense and don’t have anything to do with the actual game, it’s just a lot of fillers. The game is about finding words and renovating a house, not the character’s whole life story and personal feelings. There are also some tasks that are pointless and don’t have anything to do with the renovation of the house, like “throw out stinky old fish”, “make toast”, “make coffee”, etc. I’m on level 230, so I obviously like the game, but the more I play, the more annoyed I get by the dialogue, grammar, and useless tasks that take 3 or 4 stars to complete. ✓ Not fun anymoreIt takes 4-6 stars to do everything in the game. From side stories (which I could do without) to designing. So the time spent designing has really been cut in half since I started playing it & that’s the part I like the best. I also hate the “hard” levels where you have to find the words in a certain order where the bugs are. I could do without those too. Also some of the words are really weird & some of the obvious words, that take up all the characters aren’t even counted as words at all (not even bonus words which is really weird) some common words aren’t even counted as bonus words either but weird words I’ve never heard of are. Most of the time, this makes no sense bc the words that are common words could replace the obscure words in the puzzle with no problem. Also now you can’t match all the furniture in the room unless you don’t use the blue tickets & spend real $ bc none of it will match. All the “free” furniture is usually do ugly. All the changes have been for the worse. I miss the old game. I’m done with this game. I downloaded another app just like it. ✓ Unbearably awkward and lengthy cut scenesI really just want to play the word game and then dress up then house. That’s all I want. But, and I don’t know if this is just the beginning of the game (I’m three days in, as in days in the game, not three days physically playing), the number of slow movie sequences you have to sit through is unbearable. There are forward and skip buttons to get through the sequences faster, but they don’t totally work. Each time you skip, you have to watch the letters of dialog type out one by one unless you click forward. After, and sometimes in the middle of these sequences, the awkward character takes forever to sort of just pivot and move around slowly. She spins on the floor, floats across it. Makes motions with her arms. Lots of this is happening even without any dialog, so you’re just sitting there being forced to watch this terribly animated creature....just move around. Low end app games are like porn: You can pretend to have a story to make it appealing and relatable, but NO ONE is there for the story. This would be a 4 star game if I wasn’t forced to wait and watch the character float around the house and turn in circles on the floor for no apparent reason. I just feel like I’m completely wasting my time waiting to get the reveals of this poorly written story so I can move forward and play the game..Version: 1.1.15

Before the recent update I was watching lots of ads - an add to spin a wheel, an add to pick a piece of furniture, an add to save stars (action points) and so on. But hey that’s the nature of the “free” app games. Now there is an ad or two(!) after every level!!! And the levels got easier. I was quite upset when it was introduced. I play around 30-50 levels a day (very casually, I could play more). Level takes few minutes to solve then there is an ad!!! If this is not changed back to how it was, I will stop playing. ✓ Gets boringIt’s fun in the beginning until you realize that you have to use 3 stars to open a door or feed your cat.There’s a lot of bugs and game stopped at level 43 because they still haven’t finished the game. Very surprising since a lot of people been waiting for at least couple of weeks and still can’t go beyond level 43. You get petals every time you guess a certain amount of words back to back but those petals have no use. You can’t buy anything with it or do anything with it. If i was the developer i would give the option to buy stars that would make people feel like they can get a little ahead in the decorations. I got this game because it was supposed to be about crosswords and house decorations but you end up needing over 100 to 120 stars to decorate barely 1 room or a little part of the garden. Keep in mind that to get 1 star you need to complete a whole crosswords board. So you don’t really fell like wasting your time to use 3 stars to feed a cat before even being able to do the next task.
